My car had extreme hail damage and I had been waiting forever to get an appointment with another Toyota dealership. I reached out to Charles Maund and spoke with Mark and he got me on the schedule right then and there. I worked with Mark Peralez all the way through and he was great the entire process! He took care of me! He was very communicative, professional, and provided excellent customer service. This guy is a true gem!

I bought a new Tacoma and it had a slight body molding issue. The new car sales promised it would be taken care of. I got busy and waited almost 6 months to get it fixed. When I called the body shop, they were extremely helpful and offered plenty of different dates to drop it by. Once I was there they offered to give me a ride anywhere I needed to go. Eventhough the simple repair was only going to take a couple of hours, I decided to leave it over night. Stopped by the next day and they had me ready to go. Everyone in their shop had a positive attitude and that is not easy to find these days in some businesses. I highly recommend them.

I was in a car accident and was rear-ended. Charles Maund Collision Center was recommended to me by one of the guys from my dealership when I told them about being in an accident. When I called CMCC, I spoke with Phillip R. and he amazed me with how he knew exactly what to do. All I had to do was send him my insurance claim and I was able to leave my car with him the very next day! He kept me updated on the status of my car through e-mails and phone calls. Phillip also was not hard to get in contact with whenever I had a question. My car ended up having to be in the shop for a little over a month, but it was well worth it! On the day my car was ready, it looked even better than before I was in the accident! My car not only was repaired, but looked nice and shiny! Its now been a few months since having my car back, and Im happy to report that my car has been performing excellent! No instances of strange lights showing up on the dashboard. No strange noises or signs of questionable work. I couldnt be more satisfied with the service my car and I received from the team who worked on my car! Much appreciated!

I highly recommend going to the body shop at Charles Maund!! I called in the morning to see if I could swing by and get an estimate on my car because some bird poop had seemingly seeped into the clear coat and stained the hood of my car. My son was in an accident in San Marcos in August. Having to locate a repair facility in an area that I don’t reside, I live in the DFW area, seemed to be a difficult task. As I performed my Google search the first repair facility was Charles Maund and from the reviews it looked like it was a good place for repairs. I called and had the opportunity to speak to Mark Peralez and from that initial conversation I knew I was at the right place. Mark provide me all the information necessary (towing, delivery, estimate, schedule, warranty,etc) and he let me know everything would be done to you expectations. Throughout the repair process he provided me updates and a timeline. The vehicle repairs were completed early and he arranged a time for pickup that met my schedule. This was a great experience....I highly really recommend Charles Maund and make sure you talk to Mark! He will take care of you!

I took the car there after hitting a car on the front. From day one, Mark was friendly and responsive. He made sure the car took all the recommended repairs and tests. He took it to the next level by repairing extra deep scratches I had on the rear of the car, all free of charge. This is a leased car and now I can return the car to dealership without any extra headache!

This by far is one of the best body shops that I have taken my vehicle to. Mark is always one of the best guys that I choose to only deal with. I was very pleased with my experience here. Phillip kept me in the loop regarding repairs and insurance approvals. It took a bit longer than they originally quoted since there was more damage than expected once the bumper was removed, but he was able to go above and beyond and get me a rental car on a particularly busy day of meetings that required driving. My SUV looks and drives great now that they’re finished, and I had no stress once I left it in their hands! Highly recommend.

My 2005 Toyota MR2 Spyder was in need of restoration after a few bumps, benders, and finally a truck hitch penetrating the rear fender. After their work, my car body and paint looks like new.. As fate has it I chose Charles Maund Collision Center and what a great decision it was. Mark Peralez provided the best customer service ever and not just in the automobile industry, I mean ever. He coordinated recalls, a non-related windshield replacement and more. These are things that he could have easily passed off. (Side note their glass guy Rowland also provided top-notch customer service.) Because of this interaction, with gentlemen like this, Charles Maund will be my first and only choice not just for collision repairs and glass but also for purchasing new cars and servicing them. Philip was incredibly helpful. He called me every couple of days to check in on the progress of my vehicle. I felt like I was knowing what would happen every step of the way. Great experience, would recommend.

Careless, Destructive Service and Bad ManagementI took my vehicle in for its routine 25,000 mile maintenance, which includes a tire rotation. This was my first experience at Charles Maund. The vehicle came out in 15 minutes, which would normally be great, except that they obviously rushed through the service and damaged all 4 of my wheels by putting new curb rashes (evidenced by fresh tire scuffs lining up with the rashes), circular scratches in the nut holes made by power drills, and large scrapes on the outer part of the spokes. I noticed the damage the next day, called up there, and was put in touch with the Assistant Service Manager, Fernando Lerma, who had me bring the vehicle in so he could inspect it. In person, he flat-out denied they did any damage to the vehicle because they only had it 15 minutes, and he did not see how so much damage could be done in that timeframe. Mr Lerma was a condescending man, who insisted the damage was done by hitting curbs and implied I was lying to him about not hitting curbs (the vehicle has the 360 degree camera system, which only works under 5mph, so I always park slowly and carefully and can see where curbs are). And when I insisted they did the damage, he said I was calling him a liar (which in the heat of the moment and frustration at bringing my vehicle back in for nothing, I then did use that word), and then he told me were done here and made me leave. When I pulled out the document that says CM Toyota gives 100% satisfaction, he scoffed at it. I then called Wes Newman, the actual Service Manager, who towed the same line as Mr Lerma, yet he did admit (after looking at the high-res photos I took) that it looked like the wheels were laid spoke side down at some point, but he still denied CM Service did it. At this point, I scoured my phone for photos and found several taken of one wheel in between my 20k and the 25k service appts. I then called Jim DiMeo, the General Manager (and Owner of CM Toyota). I supplied him with all the photos that showed the new damage, and because there was one chip in the paint and some wear around the rim of the nutholes from previous service appts at other dealers, he said he would maybe pay for part of the damage since that one wheel was not perfect beforehand. He said he would need more time to inspect the photos further to decide, and he was supposed to get back to me. 2 weeks later, I call for Mr DiMeo, leave a message, and get a callback from Mr Newman, who offered $200 towards the repair of my wheels, contingent upon me bringing the vehicle back, letting them send the wheels out to a subcontractor, and charging me the remainder of the ~$100/wheel charge to refinish the 4 wheels. In effect, to repair the damage caused at Charles Maund Toyota, I have to shell out the remainder of the repair costs, which would likely run $200+. This is not cash in-hand nor credit for another body shop, this is a discount and a soft admission of guilt. That is not fair by a long shot, and its like being the victim of medical malpractice and having to go back to the same doctor to get treatment to hopefully make you well, but having to pay half of the new charges to fix the damage done in the first place. I do not trust them with my vehicle for a moment, nor trust them to get the wheels refinished properly. I will never bring my vehicle back to this dealer. Their discount offer is only a way to get money out of me.

I had to take my RAV4 in for repair after I was hit by a careless driver. I worked with Mark in the collision department. Mark was extremely timely with his communications to me. He dealt with my insurance company for me and negotiated all repair prices so that i only had to pay the deductible. He also fast tracked the repairs as I had to pay out of pocket for a rental car.When I went to get the car, I was extremely and pleasantly surprised that they had even cleaned the inside of my car!The collision team went above and beyond my expectations in all aspects of the repair. As long as I am in Austin, Charles Maund is my Dealership.
