Well they estimate the time when they finish the car and the car wasnt down. If I dont call them I guess I will get the call after 3 weeks. And I paid cash... even the insurance paid car was faster.... little bit disappointed no communication about the car process at all.BUT the car came out great 👍

I am fairly detailed and picky, and I cant imagine a better end result. You would be hard pressed to notice or tell the car had paint work at all. The work was done on an uncommon car and I would not hesitate to take any high end car to this shop - especially if you want the best result. I am very pleased with the work that Autocraft Bodywerks performed.

Back in October, my wife and I were stopped at a red light and a guy going about 40mph rear-ended us. He then chose to drive away from the scene without ever checking to see if we were ok. The impact drove us into the car in front of us so there was damage to both the rear and front of my wifes 2013 Acura RDX. I brought the car to Autocraft Bodywerks and was assigned to work with Robbie Mulderrig. Robbie made the process so easy and faught th insurance company every step of the way because they wanted to use aftermarket parts in the repairs and Autocraft never uses aftermarket parts. Chelsea and Irene at the front desk were very helpful and even assisted with arranging a rental car from Enterprise. When we got our car back, it was like new, inside and out...not even a hint that it had been in an accident. If your vehicle is ever in an accident, I highly recommend Autocraft Bodywerks. They will do a proper job and not put up with shortcuts the insurance company wants to take.

Daniel and his team work to please. Collision repair and paint on Lexus restored to pre-collision condition, and even had bumpers restored on 2001 CLK320 with excellent paint match after paint restoration.

I am from Nashville and my bumper popped off while visiting down here. I was in a panic because the Honda dealer said they could not fix it and I could only drive 35 mph without it trying to completely fall off. The Honda dealer recommended Autocraft Bodywerks and I am so grateful they did. Tammie and her team are amazing!!! They had my bumper fixed so I could make the drive home safely in 30 minutes. Hands down the best experience Ive ever had with any shop.I was in pretty dire need after some major damage from another shop and the insurance was proposing solutions for a sub-par quality work. I had researched all over, checked out multiple shops and knew I wanted them to do my work when I found them.Gavino made it a 5-star experience. He kindly explained the insurance process, handled everything, stayed late, and got my vehicle back in original condition. He made me feel like I was at a luxury car dealership. Turns out he used to be at Lexus, so made perfect sense.He also took care of my cloudy headlights (something Id always wanted but never thought would be fixed aside from a good chunk of change). On top of that, they also detail every single car they work on. At least when I went last Dec. For free. They get inside your armrest console and trunk. My car looked like a million bucks.Lastly, they have a lifetime warranty on their work. Which was perfect since I decided to go with them even though they werent on the insurances list of select service providers (shops that the insurance guarantees).Huge and very belated thank you to Gavino, great receptionist, and the team. Ive since been to both VW dealerships in town for non-body related work and my experience here far surpassed those. Call them!

Wow. I spoke to the owner and he told me that people have said to him that they were glad they got in a fender bender previously because they wanted to bring their car to his shop. I honestly thought he was exaggerating, but my god, this man spoke the truth.I met with Christian, the shop foreman (I think thats his title) and he walked around my truck with me to discuss the work to be done (painting the aftermarket grille that I had just put on). He was extremely thorough and asked if Id like to have rock chips and such fixed as well. He quoted me the price for the grille painting and I was happy with the price.Christian was in constant contact with me about the progress with the paint and even though it took a day longer than anticipated due to the perfectionist that he is, Christian delivered the truck all the way to my house 30 minutes away after the job was completed.My truck is new to me, and is 10 years old. When I dropped it off with Christian at AutoCraft Bodywerks it looked like a 10 year old truck with an aftermarket, unpainted grille. When Christian dropped the truck off though, I swear it looked like a brand new truck!! They matched the color and orange peel of the grille to the 10 year old factory paint PERFFECTLY! They not only buffed/polished/waxed my truck, but they cleaned the entire interior and even conditioned the leather.You can NOT go wrong taking your vehicle to AutoCraft Bodywerks for ANY collision or cosmetic work. Christian and the rest of the team are true professionals and should sleep like babies at night knowing they took the best possible care of their customers. Rock hit the windshield and front hood on my model X, found Autocraft Bodywerks under Tesla certified body shops. Upon reading reviews, I decided to bring my car in. I dropped my car off outside of business hours and they have a secure drop box for keys. They notified me immediately that they took my car in the next business day. Staff is responsive on my emails and took care of all matters with insurance. Mr. Christian went above and beyond taking care of my car and even got it detailed. My model X is good as a showroom brand new car when I picked it up. Thank you for the excellent work and keep it up! I totally recommend this to any Tesla owners.

I had to repair the rocker panel on my Tesla Model 3. I had very little cosmetic damage but quite a bit of frame damage. My relationship with Christian at Autocraft started off a bit rocky due to an extended estimated repair time 6 weeks(which is not his fault - this is normal) and then a slight delay ordering parts when I was already upset about the long repair time.But after the first hiccup, Autocraft made it their personal agenda to repair my car quickly, seamlessly, and with consistent status updates. If I had any questions Christian was always available with quick and polite responses. Their team fixed the car a week early and delivered it to my house! My car was returned detailed.After a week I had a rattle in the front left tire, I called Christian and inquired about the rattle. He immediately suggested that I bring it in that day for a quick inspection. Within 30 minutes they found the issue, resolved it, and sent me on my way free of charge.The next week I had another rattle on my review mirror when opening and closing my door - Christian told me to bring it in immediately. Once again 30 minutes later they had resolved the issue and fixed it free of charge.All in all I did have some hiccups, but overall a great experience. Christian and Autocraft are very professional, have great customer service, have an extremely clean facility, cutting edge tools, and willing to go the extra mile to make the customer happy. No one is perfect and everyone makes mistake. Customer service should not be judged by a mistake, but how it is resolved and Autocraft happily and hurriedly resolved any/every issue I had.Thank you Autocraft.

Recently took my Audi SQ5 to Autocraft after being hit by another car. I went there after researching body repair shops which had experience in repairing high-end vehicles. I couldnt be happier with my choice. When I got my Lexus back from rear bumper damage it looked amazing! It has a unique orange paint job and they got it back to perfection! They detailed it as well and it looks super inside and out! Ive brought my Honda here twice and each time Autocraft has done impeccable work. Christian keeps me updated every couple of days and the car always comes back looking (and smelling) brand new. Brand new truck was rear-ended. I had narrowed it down to 2 places that I was going to try. I have big reservations about body shops in general, as Ive had great work and Ive had a place not even be able to hang a bumper straight. It took some time to get the job done, but it was a big job and I was understanding of that. I was very happy with the work that was done. Everyone at the shop was working and they all appeared to know what they were doing. I didnt see any day workers just strolling & straggling around aimlessly. Everyone who worked there had a skill. The receptionist was on point and ran a tight ship, and in the end those were the two things that made me decide to go here. If you can afford and keep a good receptionist staffed as well as skilled body shop workers that speaks worlds to me. They even took care of some things/minor scratches for me about a month after that happened on a camping trip. They didnt rush to get the job out. I appreciate that they were upfront about the timeline, and didnt cut corners to get it to me faster. Robbie was my advisor and he was great. Im not the easiest to put up with and he always had a great attitude in dealing with my expectations and making sure what was important to me in the repair process was not looked over. I will find any flaw no matter how minor as Im extremely OCD. And the detail at the end of the work was better than when bought the vehicle brand new. Would recommend to anyone first based on my experience, but if you want good work it takes a little bit of extra time. That is my mantra in my own work as well. They really knocked it out of the park with my vehicle repair.

Best place, BY FAR, to take your car for body repairs! They take pride in their work and your car truly looks brand new when you leave their shop! This was, unfortunately, the second time I have had to use them and I couldnt be happier with the work they did. They are the BEST!

We have been taking our cars here since 1992. I’m sure that there are many people who would like to drive in and drive out with all things done and a random email telling them what’s being done and when. Austin being the ultimate vine of tech communication. However, this is the exclusive Lexus, Tesla and Honda repair shop for a reason...the quality of work. In one of our repairs, my car had been a rear ended so hard it bent the frame. Of course the accident caused irreparable spinal cord damage. But when we did pick up the car I could trust that it was probably better than when the car was new. They went to bat against the insurance company for us, relieving us from any unnecessary details. They understood that our focus was being sure I could walk again. They were amazing. Of course, I knew the quality would be better than any other body shop in this city. More than 10 dealerships would back that and so do I! Now I have my pilot in after being sideswiped and I’m confident the work will outlive the rest of the vehicle. None of our cars have EVER lost value because of repairs because of Autocraft! That also says a lot about the work. I recommend them regularly!

Ive never experienced professional service like this-- beyond expectation! Their communication & professionalism was superb. They found extensive damage that the insurance adjuster missed, but the adjuster agreed with everything they did. First rate all the way-- they even completely detailed my Chevy truck before I picked it up. The highest quality people & workmanship-- refreshing.

Honestly this was the worse possible place I could have taken my car to get my passenger side door fixed. Unfortunately before I left for deployment at the end of 2017 I was T-Boned on the front passenger side door. So whenever I got back I did some searching to find a good body shop. I stumbled across Autocraft Bodywerks and saw excellent reviews. So I had my car put into their care. Whenever I dropped off my vehicle I was told that I would get constant updates on the status of my car, my car would be detailed after it was worked on and so forth. Although there were discrepancies with the insurance, my car was in the shop for the door for TWO MONTHS. I was only contacted 3 times by someone from the company reaching out to me, all the other times it was myself that would have to reach out and call them. A few days before I had picked up my car, nobody had contacted me saying when my car was going to be done. So I showed up to the shop and when I got there it was brought to my attention that all the paperwork associated with my car hadnt even filled out and processed at all. Then whenever I picked up my car, it was so dirty, the backseat had new stains in there and needed to be vacuumed, the panels and center console had caked up dirt on there and to top it off, right when the car is having a walkthrough by myself, the associate dealing with my car told me that the battery was completely dead and had to be jumped off to start (I had bought a new battery right before deployment), and then later on that day I came to the realization that sprayers on the hood for the windshield had been disconnected. I would not recommend this place to anyone, everything about business with this company was highly unacceptable. I would have been better off going to a 3 star body shop rather than them, at least I would have not been expecting outstanding service as they claim to have.

Autocraft Bodywerks was highly recommended by another Tesla owner. This afternoon I met with Cristian Aguilar to get an estimate on repairs to a bit of superficial damage to the front bumper paint of my five month old Model 3. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. After a brief discussion, Cristian offered to provide a quick touch up on the spot. About 10 minutes later, he returned my car and until I got within a few inches of the bumper I couldnt even find the previously damaged spot! He also provided me a small bottle of matching touch-up paint at no charge. I was so impressed and pleased! Even though I didnt need extensive repair work today, I will not hesitate to use and recommend Autocraft Bodywerks in the future!

Ive have my Tesla worked by Autocraft Bodyworks on for three separate incidents. Their quality and customer service is as good as it gets. On my most recent visit, there was a small problem (they accidentally broke a part) and I had to reschedule and come back, which wasnt a big deal to me, but they were great about it and detailed the inside of my car to the cleanest it has ever been in the pat 5 years. I came to the body shop (as recommended by Lexus of Austin as a certified Lexus Body Shop) to get an estimate on some scratches I hadn’t on my car. I was welcomed by Christian who took a look at my car. He buffed our the scratches, and said it was complimentary! Staff was great and sweet! If I ever need any body work done, I am definitely coming here! Excellent customer service and repair!

If you want something done right, take it to Autocraft. Not the fastest but the most thorough. They found things the adjuster couldnt find and was able to prove to them our BMW loaner car needed to be totaled. Very happy with the communication, thanks Christian and Tammie

Could be one of the best Body Shops Ever!I have used Autocraft Bodywerks twice for repairs to my Lexus. The only words that might describe my experience are Stupendous, Amazing or maybe just INCOMPARABLE!My 4 year old Lexus 460LS after being rear ended looks better now than it did when it was brand new. Whether dealing with Tammy, Christian or Joanna the experience is always first class and seamless. If you take pride in your car, there is no other place you should take your car for bodywork. In the case of an accident requiring a visit to a body shop, no one is happy to be here, but the people here are super nice and the work is absolutely the best. May take a little longer than some of the other chain places but it is totally worth the wait. They do the work the way it should be done. Hopefully I wont have to come back, but if for any reason Im in this situation again, I wont hesitate to go anywhere else than Autocraft.

Unfortunately my experience with Autocraft Bodywerks wasnt the greatest. They had my car for about a month to paint three panels on the passenger side. The paint job was fine, but I feel like they didnt take good care of the car while it was in their possession.Without going into too much detail, Autocraft to their credit has gone above and beyond to address any issues and paid for the extra work that needed to be done to fix everything.Will I use Autocraft Bodywerks again? Probably not. But know if they do make a mistake, they will own it and try their best to make it right.

My Acura MDX needed some major repair for a damaged rear passenger side rocker panel. Not only was the repair perfect but they matched the paint perfectly and detailed every inch of my car including the engine compartment. I had an incident with a Tesla Model S and was directed toward Autocraft Bodywerks by Tesla. They handled everything from the tow truck through the Insurer interactions to the actual work.My car was pretty messed up when I left it I had driven over a ground barrier that I hadnt noticed and it went up while I was passing ... quite painful.When I retrieved my car it looked like brand new! They have this very impressive quality control tunnel with hundreds of lights that show the smallest of imperfections.The result is an immaculate state if the car!Really highly recommend the shop!

I have been going to Autocraft Bodywerks for 15+ years now. Between myself, two kids and two husbands ;-) weve probably used them a dozen times as they have worked on 4 Lexuses, a Mini Cooper, a Toyota FJ and my beloved Tesla, Scarlett. The poor girl has been put through a lot and seen Tammie, Noel and the gang about 3 times. Every single time Ive visited, I have been given the highest level of customer service and treated like a VIP whether it is $16,000 worth of hail damage on my Tesla or $400 worth of damage on my daughters Mini. They work with insurance companies seamlessly and fight to get your car repaired RIGHT. They are never the cheapest, but they are by FAR the best. Your car arrives back at your door literally as good as new. I could not recommend them more highly!
