Seriously the only place I will ever buy tires. They always acknowledge customers, even when there’s a line, and the customer service is superior. They’ve saved me on multiple occasions with flat tires. Very communicative and not matter who you interact with, they will treat you like family. Honestly, they deserve and extra 5 stars! I’m a customer for life.

Just one more reason I’ll always choose discount tire. The manager breaker discount tire in Austin Texas provided a great explanation of why my tires weren’t balanced, unfortunately it was at fault of the dealership. Again, just another reason I’ll choose discount tire. The customer service is exceptional and the quality of their products are top-tier!

Came in for low tire pressure and replacement tires. Friendly and professional staff. As a walk-in, they got me back on the road in less than an hour. They provided all the available options with no pressure selling. Slade and Jakob were great. Thanks to the whole team!

I have worked in customer experience long enough to know that if somebody takes the time to write a review, their experience was either really good or really bad. Mine was neither. It was absolutely and positively spectacular, and it is every single time.For some reason my tires are magnets for nails and screws. Alas, this is my fourth trip here in the last 8 months and I’m not even mad about it. I’m always greeted with a smile and a sense of confidence that I did in fact come to the right place. I don’t know tires that well but I do know I leave with enough confidence in them to rip down the road upon leaving, which is something I think the guys that work here enjoy. I didn’t even mention that all of this went down after they stayed 30 mins past closing to finish up my car.It says a lot about a company when everybody who works there is cutting up, having a great time, and still delivering fantastic service. That’s how it should be. Work should be fun, you should enjoy being with your coworkers, and you shouldn’t be afraid to be yourself. Those are the tools that make a diverse and inclusive work environment and it’s so damn refreshing to see.Again, a superb experience, and I will surely never buy tires elsewhere.

I stopped by yesterday after work to get my tires filled because I noticed that they were low that morning. I had 3 screws in 3 different tires! They got everything plugged and filled(my full-sized spare was flat also-they fixed that too) in less than an hour. And at no cost since I had the hazard insurance that a Gentleman there told me to purchase when I bought my new-to-me car.I used to be a tire salesperson so I appreciate their patience. I arrived there at 5:20 and they closed at six but they were determined that I would leave there safely!I have nothing to say but good things! Thanks Staff at Discount Tire!

From start to finish was super easy. Got to Discount Tire 10 min before they opened. They had 6 people in line before me and I thought I was going to have to drop my keys off and come back. When they opened they had enough people to take care of everyone! I needed 4 new tires and they told me to drive my car up to the lift. 15 min after paying the car was ready to go. Just unreal!!! Professional!!!

Came here with the intention of buying new tires, and did so but we were lead to believe that if we bought them with warranty we could get replacement when ever needed/ or that if we every needed them to be patched up they could do that for us so we bought them with warranty. Fast forward a few months and when ever we’d needed them to be patched up they would have us wait hours, since most of the time I went during my lunch break I ended up leaving and when they did patch one of my tires up it was not even done correctly. Overall they only make it a priority to attend those you are paying, but aren’t willing to prioritize all customers.

Today was my first visit to Discount tires to get my car’s flat tire repaired. I wasn’t aware that they fix flat tires at no cost. This is amazing due to the fact that the service experience is so good. I was in and out is no time. They told me the car will be ready in 45 mins. But within 20 mins I received message that the car is ready to pick. Also, they have an online portal to check the status of your car while it is being serviced, which keeps updating at each stage.

The service was super fast and very friendly. Went in before opening, 4th in line, no appointment, out in 45 minutes with two new tires and a nail repair. The start saw there was a line and started helping people as soon as they were ready and didnt wait until 8 pm on the dot to open the doors as they have every right to do. I really appreciated that.

The Research Blvd. Location people sent us here to save the time. Both locations had the best, most patient associates i could imagine. Super quick service. We were already on the queue when we arrived. Sincere thanks for the care and quality of service we were given.

Purchased a brand new set of Pirelli tires (all 4) back in April from Stefan (this review is long overdue).My tires were balding and needed a new set badly!!Made the appointment online, as a working mother a swift, organized and easy experience are paramount, because aint no body got time to waist time, ya know?Stefan greeted me outside and explained the process and even recommended a different set of tires from the ones I had reserved online. Stefan processed the payment and offered rebate information and instructions on how to do it. Great experience from start to finish, I even recommended my husband go to this particular store for his tires and he said everything was great, he works construction so his tires are in constant need of replacement due to driving over nails and other construction site materials.Stefan is fantastic, we will go to him for all of our tire needs, definitely ask for him as his customer service is excellent.Thank you so much Stefan! - The Teufels

Im at a super busy discount tire today. You think this would be a bad review because of that but its the opposite, everyone is very happy with the customer service around here so no one seems to mind waiting including me. And with how busy it is Im super surprised I only have to wait only an hour not having an appointment. Just moving to Texas Im glad I found this one 10 minutes away from my house!

I can’t believe how awesome this place is! I bought a used car, and when I got home, I realized the lugs on the wheel were a spline shape that needed an adapter for the lug wrench I had. I went to discount thinking that they might have one for sale, and they gave me one for free! Another time (today), I drove there on a spare with a tire in the trunk with a superficial staple puncture. They removed it, and determined that it was not worth a patch or replacement, and swapped the spare for the regular tire for free again!I can always expect above and beyond service and honesty from them!

He was very informative and answered all my questions without me having to ask them.Next, Tony approached me to go over all the details of my tires in a way that was very easy to understand. He was very kind and made the process simple.I believe the last man that approached me was Gabe. He was the one to let me know that my rotation/balance was done. We had a nail in our tire, not the first time either, and each time they evaluate it and if they can fix it they will, and for free!Here there is no pressure of buying all new tires, all friendly and helpful team members. You can book an appointment or they take walk ins, and it’s always fast. Also, noticed while I was waiting I looked up tire prices and totally reasonable with good selections - if they don’t have those specific ones they can get shipped there or they will call to another location to help get you those tires. Honestly what more could you ask for?

Tried to scam me. Nail was in the tread, not the sidewall. Other tire had enough tread on it. Walked out. Discount Tire used to be good and honest. Now theyre just like NTB and Firestone. Hard pass!

I came in because my TPMS light was on. (I just purchased the vehicle and was told needed to replace one TPMS) Garrett at the counter greeted me and very professonally indicated that his team would take care of further inspecting the tire as it had a screw embedded on it and it could be possible for I to need a tire because it was too.close to the edge (kind of in a grey area) I indicated that whatever needed would be done.After Garrett did his due diligences he showed me in the screen🖥 the possible cost of the replacement in anticipation and also clarified that if the tire could be repaired there would be -no charge for it-He invited me to take a seat and sent me a service link to my cell 📳 to check the status of my service on real time. That was a cool tool because I wouldnt have to approach them to ask... how is it going? ( right?)It was a busy morning for them and I was advised that walk ins👣 are welcome but an appointment is always the best option. I made a mental note on that! 📝Happy to report that at the end my tire was repaired and I had a $0 bill for it! Yaaaayyyy!!!😊

I will never take my care anywhere else for tires!!! This place has top notch service and will do everything they can to take care of you. I had to take my car in for tire repair 2 times in the last 6 months and I felt so bad because I felt the timing was too close to each other for needing tire services. They have been doing road repairs on the road leading to my work, and both times ran over a screw. The first time in November it wasnt bad, they were able to repair the tire, but it was a slow leak, but this time 3/10/21 was a different story. By the time I left work and try and make it to this location (8 minute drive) my tire was completely flat!!! I am so glad that I decided to try and make it here verses making the commute 30 minutes away because I would have totally been stranded. I was also nervous because I made it 30 minutes before they closed and I did not want to keep them past business hours. The gentleman that helped me said not to worry we will take care of you. The tire was covered under the warranty and was on my way within the hour. Thank you so much for taking care of me and making sure I was able to make it home.

Called in to see if they had tires in stock for my van. They didnt but they spent time searching for other locations that did. Very pleasant all throughout. Will update this review with the name of the person I spoke to.

My car tire gage light came on so I stopped at braker ln discount tire to air up and to see if nail in my tire.This guy was dedicated and working hard taking care of every customer.He was on a roll how he had airing up 2 tires at a time. I asked if he could check to see if I have nail on my tires not knowing why sensor light came on when I had aired up my tires couple weeks ago.He did fine a nail in my car, he was willing to help and gave great service.This guy took care of me and I like the system he got going. Keep up the good work.

I dont do reviews frequently but i wanted to give Devin kuddos for hooking me up with great tires for the price right before a trip to South Padre. Both ways I had to drive thru torrential rain and if I had driven with my old worn out tires i would have been in trouble. He gave me a great deal and the tires he recommended were awesome . A true ripoff experience in 2021!I was sold four expensive tires for a 2013 Honda Civic here without receiving any prorated credit on my previous tires, no buy 3 one free deal, no alignment, and very pricy extra costs and fees. The tires were replaced this year, while each new tire is at least 6 months old, dated 2020. I didnt know this store didnt do alignment, as all other companies in this business do free alignmegt when they change tires and all have buy 3 one free deal with guaranteed low price. This store never communicated the matter to me and after taking my car for inspection yesterday, they noticed heavy treads on my new tires and the alignment test faild poorly.I called this store to talk to a manager and I was told to come in person and they will help me. Today after driving 15 miles in traffic, and taking time off from my full time work to go there, not only I did not receive any help but also was disrespected. Neil blamed me for not knowing that they dont do alignment, and only sell expensive tires. He also blamed me for trusting them to do the job correctly, and not selling dated expensive tires from 2020 that they wanted to get rid off, since these tires are not getting produced any more. I was taked advantages as a lady who trusted them and paid at least twice more in this difficult timing. I will make sure to share this experience with many people, hoping they dont fall in the same trap.

Worst experience Ive had at a Discount Tire by far. My window was left down and it poured rain before I was able to pick it up. The inside of my car was soaked and I was given a little roll of paper towels to go clean it myself. My steering wheel took me 30 minutes to clean and get all of the dirt/smut off of it. My steering wheel is stickier than a toddlers hands. Never had a problem at a Discount Tire, but this location definitely made up for all of the other ones.

Ive been using Discount since 1993. They all do a good job. Would recommend you make an appointment. To just drop in, plan two hours.

I got there near closing time (530pm)and Firestone closed an hour later than Discount Tire. Firestone had informed me that they were quite busy and couldnt accept me as their customer for the evening.Discount Tire was very happy to have me and the other customers that pulled in behind me.Ive spent thousands of dollars at Firestone literally, and hundreds of dollars at Discount Tire.This location had me in and out in under an hour with 4 new tires, extended warranty, and 20 new lugnuts they installed that I brought in from an auto parts store. $768 dollars later, I did not hesitate to give the hands $20 for tacos in the morning. It wasnt much to give, but the installer seemed pleased. Theyve certainly acquired a returning customer.

It was great. I had a flat tire when I woke up, nail in the center of the tread. I swapped it for my spare and went to work. I arrived at 5pm right after work to see if they could patch it. Patched it, mounted, checked air in the others and sent me on the way. They will definitely see my business again. I didnt buy the tires from them, but they didnt charge me anyway. I was upfront about it, expecting a patch charge at least.

After a big ordeal picking up my rims and tires, Neil the manager, made sure I was completely satisfied before I left. Including a discount as well as dropping off my wheels and tires to my local lift shop. This location has been my tire and wheel shop for all my vehicles Im glad we could get past the unpleasantry of the mounting of the wheels and tires. I will continue to use them in the future for all my tire and wheel needs!

These folks are always great. I had another shop tell me the nail in my tire was not repairable and try to sell me a very overpriced tire and got the wrong one in. In the meantime, I had Discount Tire check it out. The replacement was going to be over $80 cheaper AND they actually were able to patch it instead for free. Highly recommend this place!

Ive used this company for quite a while in San Antonio and also 2 other Austin locations. And really, its always been a good experience. Today I was in a pickle. I needed to get a new tire but I dont have a lot of extra money at the moment. The folks here bent over backwards to help me out. As much as I want to be safe while saving money, they wanted that for me too. I will return to this location for as long as I live in Austin. 5 stars. Recommended highly.

Hands down the best place to get your tires. I got my first set in 2017 and second set this year. Lifetime tire balance! Saves you $25 each time. They also beat competitor prices. I will only go to Discount Tires.

From the first conversation with Jacob that ordered my tire to Derek that let me know its arrival and assisted me with check in; to Manny that helped me get my car in. I want to adopt him. Every one is extremely helpful to everyone not just me. They are busy but still maintain a very good attitude and outstanding customer service. They have truly stepped up to help those of us that cant work from home. Did I mention Cody is also amazing! There is Sanitizer bottles everywhere. Outdoor seating is good. Bought 4 new tires. Discount tire couldn’t remove the last tire and sent me away with 3 new tires. They couldn’t remove 1 lugnut and Aj At discount tire referred me to another shop to have the the lugnut removed and now my wheel is completely destroyed. Looking at an $800 repair all because of 1 lugnut.

Ive had some issues with Discount Tire in the past, however this location in particular has been amazing. Theyre always friendly and as prompt as they can be, and they always seem to be looking out for whats best for me and my car. The worst experience ever, I went to replace the 4 tires, and leave the backup tire as it is, guess what they did, Replace the 4 tires and put the bad one on the backup tire which was a brand new tire.

We have purchased tires before at Discount Tire on FM 685 and even bought rims there as well. Nevertheless I have been there 2wice in the past few months to utilize their FREE tire pressure check that is available to anyone. I always tip a buck or two for the convenience. Its a nice public safety service. Thanks & cudos to Discount Tire.

I made an appointment online. Dropped my car off for a new tire. They quoted me about an hour which I thought was super fast. Didnt believe it 🙄 so I ubered home the 1.5 miles. Was home about 20 min and they called and said my car was done! Kicking myself for even going home cuz I had to just turn around and uber back. But super happy with the service. Everyone was super polite and friendly.

Went to the Burnet Rd store at 8:55 this am. Had a nail in the RR Tire, Checked in and was told I would be out of there in 40 minutes. Nearly an hour later I was still waiting. There were 3 empty stalls. When I drove up there were 6 stalls occupied. I watched as other customers came up and went. Apparently they had appointments. They have no plan to help customers with a emergency. I thought a nail in the tire could be a emergency. Perhaps I was wrong. In my opinion this is poor management.

I had my car towed to this location, they didnt start working on my car until after I had to check in on my phone over 2 hours later. Terrible service, the guy shouting in the parking lot was super rude but the man inside when I paid was very nice

Tony Martinez Jr. IS THE BEST. Went in for a typical tire check up - I knew I needed new tires already. Ive always had older vehicles and finally have ownership of a new car which means more proactive care and less reactive care (for me at least). I had many follow up questions and Tony answered them all. He even went the extra mile and gifted me his tread tire gauge during our educational session when I eluded to wow thats a great tool; I should get one of those to go along w/ my pressure gauge. Anything mechanical or vehicle maintenance I learn on my own - wasnt raised with someone showing me the ropes like that. Any who - this review is long over due (Im sorry Tony), but I am singing his praises because that was perfect customer service!! Thank you Tony! Ill be returning with my tire needs again

Everyone is always great and this time Carlos and Devon were very thorough and thoughtful when it came to replacing the screw in my tire.
