This shop is amazing! We were having car troubles on our way to Galveston and they got us right in and looked at the car. Turns out the muffler just needed secured so they put it on a lift, fastened the muffler and sent us on our way free of charge! Just good people overall, highly recommend!

Honestly, I don’t usually provide reviews, but this place was every bit worth it! If you are looking for legit auto maintenance folks without being cheated, this is the place. After unfair, and often far more costlier experiences elsewhere, I finally discovered this place and it has without a doubt become my go-to place for everything ranging from economical body work to everyday car maintenance. Fahad is friendly and very professional; his father who runs the place is warm and courteous - you can count on them for an honest bottom-line opinion. Honestly, my wish of finding a really good mechanic shop that I can completely trust has come true! Pay them a visit, I bet you won’t regret it!

Just had my state inspection done there. Very fast, within 5 minutes they had me in. They called me over to show me my tag light was out and that my wiper blades were falling apart. They told me that I could go get those things fixed and come back, or they could fix them and what the price was to do so. Very convenient and prices were fair! I was happy that they also did repairs, as most places Ive had my inspection done before did not, and when that happens you have to seek out a separate place for repairs and then return later to get your inspection sticker. Recommended!

I had issues with check engine light on (Toyota Camry 2001), spent over 1100 at different places changing parts over parts but the check engine light kept coming back. checked out their website and trusted their experience in getting check engine light off forever and hassle free inspection. Never ever go to this place. This guy will screw your car to an extent that repairing it further will cost you lot.I bought a Hyundai sonata from this shop in May 2016. Check engine light was ON that time. They promised that the car will need some minor repair and I will get the car in good condition. I made a mistake of trusting him, I paid in advance, got the car after one week check engine light was still ON, somehow he got the inspection done for a year.After one year when car needed inspection again, then he charged me 900 dollars to repair check engine error codes (which were ON since the day I bought the car). My car was at the shop for 10-15 days, somehow he got the inspection done. Some jugad as we say in India.Next year inspection, he could not clear out the inspection even after trying for 2 months. Then I took my car to Hyundai dealership and it was found that the gujarat auto mechanic screwed the wiring of my car to such a extent that the car will need rewiring and it will cost me 4000 dollars.Based on first impression, this shop may look like a cheap affordable place to buy a car/ get a repair. But This is not the case. The work they do is just based on temporary work, you will run into same problem again and again. And if you compare it to other places it is not that cheap as it look like. The quality of repair here is pathetic.Edit after reply from Gujarat Auto:1) All of my friends at UT have bought old cars and I have never seen check engine light ON in these cars.2) The issue here is of trust. You shouldnt have sold the car if you knew that you wont be able to repair the check engine light. I paid around 800 dollars more than what KBB value of the car at that time.3) If I believe your argument that most of the cars have check engine light, then at least you should have told me that you screwed the wiring of this car. Two other different mechanic told me that wiring of this car has been screwed by your previous mechanic. And it didnt take long for them to figure this out.I want to clarify your accusation that I did not visit your shop to get it repaired:I gave my car for inspection first in April last week, then for a week in May first week, then finally my car was at your shop for two months. So I assume I made all effort to get it inspected. This means that you simply couldnt do anything.And I also want to emphasize that its not that the problem of check engine light came after one year. I know you are not liable for what happens to car after a month. BUT YOU ARE LIABLE FOR WHAT YOU SOLD AND PROMISED AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON SINCE I PURCHASED THE CAR FROM YOU.

These guys will rip you off so bad by the time your out of the mechanic shop you will only have your underwear. They profile customers based on stupidity on the knowledge of cars and by this they will base there charges on the repairs. I had a new engine put on my 2000 Toyota corolla and wanted to get it diagnostic of the performance. They told me it had a major engine leak but it did not it was oil left from the repalcement of the old engine. Secondly they said repairs will be $1500 to repair the leak. I told them they are theives and i will never come back to there garbage shop again. They dont know anything about cars. DONT GO TO THEM.
