Wow. Where do I start!? I have been wearing glasses for over 20 years now. I have never had such a pleasant experience as I had with this Thomas Eye Group location in midtown. The office is beautiful! Front desk and medical staff has so much charisma. It really felt like I was a kid having fun going to the doctors office again. Once I wrapped up my great appointment with Dr. Yang, I purchased glasses from Demetrics. This guy is truly a gem. His suggestions and ability to listen to others is extraordinary to say the least. I can’t believe I’ve purchased glasses for 20 years and never understood the process so easy. I really appreciate that effort he took for me. Overall love this place, and my family will be shifting here as well. Thanks

I can’t say enough about how pleasant my experience was with Thomas Eye Group in Midtown. I brought in my two year old and any trip to the doctor can be a challenge at that age. But everyone went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was comfortable and happy. Big shout out to Tia and Dr. Phoenix for their care and professionalism. And another big shout out to the optician Demetrics for helping my daughter pick out her first pair of glasses.

Everyone was lovely! Very detailed efficient team of professionals. The office / exam rooms are spacious and extremely clean. They also offer a fabulous modern variety of eye glasses. Demetrius in the eye glass center is full of suggestions and truly cares about finding you the right frames.

I am so grateful to have been referred to the Thomas Eye Group. My whole experience from check in at the front desk, to the thorough testing & exams were nothing but the very best of professionalism. Dr. Brown was very honest, showed concern and professionalism when explaining my diagnosis. She answered my question and explained options that could possibly correct my vision concerns.

This was a referral visit to see Dr. Goldberg and it was a great appointment! The level of detail with my visit answered a lot of visual concerns for me. The visit lasted at about three hours, which was time well-spent. Dr. Goldberg is very thorough, explaining results each step of the way.I am looking forward to my next appointment!

Scheduled an appointment with me for the day the office was closed. When I showed up to find no one there. I called and the lady who answered was very rude. I will be going to a different eye doctor now.

As a long time patient of Thomas Eye Groups Sandy Springs location I was a little hesitant about trying the new (to me) Midtown location which was more convenient and down the hall from my primary care physician. It was no surprise to find the high standards Ive grown accustomed to with TEG at their Midtown office. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and a great and thorough exam by Dr. Brown.

Second visit to Dr. Brown and I’m so happy I found this office! With my previous doctor, my eye appointments could take up to three hours and it’s usually spent in waiting rooms, but not here. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes! Very efficient and respectful of time which is very important for me.

Very friendly service!however, they were not clear about charges. did not inform me that a contact exam wasn’t covered by insurance, and have a mandatory $40 exam. i expected to pay nothing but ended up paying over $100i am still here waiting on the optometrist.... hopefully he comes back from lunch soon :)all in all, probably the best place if you’re gainfully employed and have a lot of time to spare.

Review is about midtown. This office is absolutely awful.-wait time is extremely long. I arrived on time for my appointment but had to wait 50 min to be seen my eye doctor.-Once you had the initial vision exam, they try to make it very hard for you to schedule follow up contact adjustments. Because follow up appointments are covered by insurance so they try to not waste time with you once they got your business.-front desk people are very rude, and always have an attitude.-dr anh hart does NOT do a thorough exam eye, she spent less than 5 min checking my eyes, and is very in patient.

Very frustrating. This doctor might be okay, but their front office staff are completely incompetent. The staff was obviously not trained and unable to perform basic tasks. They were not able to find my insurance, kept repeating the same questions. I was hung up on when I asked to speak with a supervisor. Very unprofessional office staff.

The entire staff here makes you feel comfortable and welcome. It seems like a great place for the staff to work as everyone was smiling and laughing. The process could not have been more pleasant!

Recently I brought my 1 year old in the midtown location. Everybody there were very nice and professional. The office was very clean and all the precautions against Covid 19 were taken. I am satisfied with our experience and recommend the place.

Great first visit to Thomas Eye Group. From the time I hit the door everyone I encountered was professional, friendly, efficient, and competent. They have a great system in place to make you feel as safe as possible in the era of COVID-19. They give you a laminated piece of paper to leave in your seat after you’re called back for your appointment. That allows them to know where and what to wipe down after you get up. I’ve never seen that before. I appreciated it very much. I’d definitely recommend them. They also validate parking. I still had to pay a little out of pocket, but I was there for a while after my appointment picking out new glasses.

Dr Arnhart was very gentle with my eye and she was very considerate. Had a great experience with the staff as well!

This was a great experience. The staff is caring and professional. The doctor was personable and made my mom feel very comfortable. He took the time to explain cataract surgery to her in terms that moved her from absolutely not to I need to think about it. That was huge. I think she will have the surgery because of his awesome bedside manner and caring attitude.

I am extremely disappointed. I attended the appointment with my 2 kids and was refused service because the new rule which we were not made aware of states only 2 persons per appointment. I waited a month for this appointment. I was already there. We were all wearing masks. As I was explaining what happened to my baby, I was told I had to leave the reception area because of covid. Ps dont use covid is not an excuse for poor customer service.

They are swift, clean and a lovely group of professionals. Everything is explained as you go through your visit. They are very good with covid standards and I’m happy I’m their customer now.

I enjoyed my visit. Everyone in the office is nice! Loved Tasia [congrats in med school] and Dr. Brown is great! The front desk person sanitizes everything right after every person. I recommend this office and there is validation for parking!

Everything was great except my appointment was at 2:30 and I wasnt called till almost an hour later. Didnt get out till after 4. Staff was super nice though and loved Dr. Arnhart.

I had the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. The optometrist was very nice & answered all my questions, explaining everything to me. The office was clean & I felt very safe there with their protocol for keeping me safe during this pandemic. I highly recommend!

I am from NC, I drove almost 3 hours to see Dr. Goldberg. I left confident that I finally know what is wrong with my vision/eyes. Second, I felt like she values and takes pride in her job, she didnt make me feel like I was just a number.Also, to experience during Covid-19, I would have to say they follow all protocols. I felt very comfortable, they cleaned everything, even the ink pen you sign with.

Friendly staff and streamlined procedures. I had a 3pm appt for a contacts exam and was out of the parking deck by 4. Great precautions for COVID-19 with an attendant dedicated to temp checks and disinfecting chairs after you leave.

Customer service was great! They communicated with me very clearly throughout the entire process, so I was never unsure what was going on. Everything was swift and timely; the appointment wasn’t any longer than it needed to be.

Actual office visit was fine. It took a real effort to schedule the appointment. I called several times, was informed by answering service that the phone lines were out; finally made an appointment request online and was called several days later. Am now having difficulty ordering contact lenses. At the end of the appointment, I tried to order with lens specialist, but he made a mistake in the quantity and didnt know how to reverse the charge. He promised me Id get a call later in the day from someone who could reverse the charge and place the order correctly. They didnt call that day nor today. I tried to call 4 times today but was either disconnected, or received a message that they were busy. I left a message but as of 10:00pm have not received a response.

I love this office. The staff are very friendly and professional. The office is also setup very well for the pandemic that we are currently dealing with. The doctor is also great. I will continue to visit this office.

Dr. Phoenix and her team have been a blessing for my son. The surgical work she did that first night in the hospital and the subsequent follow ups have been amazing. So grateful to have been under the care of Dr. Phoenix; I would highly recommend her and the Thomas Eye Group team.

Fantastic experience as a patient. The staff were all friendly and helpful and Dr. Kelly Arnhart was great! It was very easy to navigate to the facility and they validate parking. The check-in process was the easiest and fastest Ive ever experienced - and great especially during COVID that it was self check-in. No paperwork - everything was pre-filled. Their COVID procedures overall were great - I felt safe the whole time. Ill be returning for sure.

The staff at the surgery center in Sandy Springs couldn’t be more accommodating. Very compassionate and caring. I definitely recommend Thomas Eye Group to anyone who needs great eye care.

I was placed on the schedule the day of due to an emergency with my right eye. My appointment was set for 12:30 pm. When I arrived the space was clean and clear to navigate. Everyone at the front of house was very nice and welcoming. I arrived a little early just in case I had to do paper work. In this case it was seamless. 12: 30 pm strikes and my name was called. I saw Dr. Ready. She was straight to the point and clear. The representative before her was super nice and helpful as well. I actually look forward to my follow up appointment.

This visit wag great, true to my appointment time. I was call back to see the doctor about 5 mins before my appointment, the doctor was in the room and ready to see me at my appointment time.

They worked me in on a Monday without an appointment to address a stye that developed over the weekend. Saw me quickly on my follow-up appointment a week later, and scheduled an eye exam at my request four days after that. So far, I am very pleased.

Scheduled an appointment a month in advance with the pediatric doctor. The office pediatric area setup was nice, but expect to wait!! After my daughter got the eye drops to get dilated, we waited over 2 hours before bringing in the office, then another 15 mins to see the doctor. When the tech put in the eye drops he said it takes 30-35 mins for the eyes be dilated, while that maybe the case... it takes much longer to see the doctor.... they can do much better on scheduling!

Great experience. My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Arnhart. The entire staff was very friendly, the facility was spotless and modern, the technology enhanced the experience, and Dr.Arnhart was very knowledgeable and engaging. I couldn’t have hoped for more.Update: Many visits later, I still feel like I get the best care here & they’ve even squeezed me in when I had acute problems.

Came here after a terrible experience with Georgia Retina Northside. I was seen right away, no ridiculous waits. Staff was very friendly, doctor was attentive and did not rush through explanations. Great location for those living and working in town and there is on-site parking.

Really love doctor Phoenix, but I can’t stand the wait at this office, as well as the Lithonia location. We have seen them about a dozen times in the past two years and no matter what, we always wait a full hour before getting to see the doctor. An average office visit here takes roughly an hour and a half and frankly by the time the doctor shows up, my child is too sleepy and irritable to do an eye exam.

Dr. Arnhart is the best! She has taken great time and care to ensure my daughter’s prescription was just right. Dr. Reddy was very thorough and reassuring when examining my eyes. Both doctors take the time to listen to your concerns and have great personalities. Highly recommended!

This Midtown office is great! Ive been going to the Sandy Springs office for many years, even after I moved to Midtown three years ago, and just learned that this location opened almost a year ago. Dr. Arnhart was the best. Shes very approachable, knowledgeable and made sure that all of my questions were answered. Im thrilled that this office is walking distance for me and appreciate how professional and upbeat the entire office staff was.

Very non responsive. I have been calling all day to check on my trial contacts. Front desk does not answer, call gets transferred to central customer services, they then transfer me to optics but optics never answer and always goes to voicemail. I left a call back voicemail and no one has called me back. I have to physically go into the midtown office to inquire about the status of the trial contacts. Do yourself a favor and just go to Emory Eye Center.

Before, during, and after my cataract surgery I felt confident that I was in good hands. The staff at the surgery center are caring and professional and Dr. Reddy inspires trust and confidence.

I’ve visited both the Alpharetta and Sandy Springs locations and have received nothing but stellar service from the front desk staff to Dr. Lipsky! Bringing twin preemie newborn girls to an appointment can be harrowing but not with this professional and thoughtful staff ensuring that the visit flows smoothly. I highly recommend this practice to anyone that loves professionalism with a human touch.

Ray is the best...., I stop by to pick up a pair of new eyeglasses. While i was there, i had Ray, remove the lenses from my old frames. The frames actually broke. Without me mentioning it, Ray demanded that they replace the frames. Great customer service. If your in midtown and need a sharp pair of frames, go see Ray.

If I had known that Thomas Eye Group had opened up another office in midtown a year ago I would have made a beeline straight to them instead of fighting the traffic and waiting lines at the Sandy Springs Office. I came down with pink eye, on a Friday no less, rather suddenly and I needed to see a doctor before the weekend. I found them on Google, called and got in to see Dr Reddy (for my red eyes lol) and they were great. I even got there 15 mins early and I had not sat for more than 1 min before they called me back. Dr Reddy and her staff were friendly and willing to listen to my questions and answer them fully. I now have a new ophthalmologist and she is only 2.5 miles from my home.

Today my first visit it was very bed experience I lost my money I am DAIBTIC they test vision also and when check out counter she told extra charges for vision test and she not give my prescription she told you pay $55 pay for prescriptionBarkat Lakhani

Operator info was not reliable. I called to confirm office was open until 1 pm on Friday and operator told me they were closing an hour early. I left a message for a gm and got a prompt call-back. Turns out the office was not closing early.The manager acknowledged the inconvenience (didn’t find out until the office was actually closed and I’d altered my plans) and will be researching the miscommunication.

Called as a new patient and been hang up on, and when I called back, they simply said they have an issue in the phone without even apologyzing. Very bad customer service, never been there before and not willing to in the future!
