A bit better than the prison tacos and the people are friendlier. Nice sauce selection -- they even have that bright orange one that tastes like heat! They use corn tortillas and flour is extra, so keep that in mind. I find if I want to save some for later, flour is better.

This place is an absolute must if you want good meat. I come here all the time and favorites include the center cut lamb chops, bone in ribeye, porterhouse, and filet. It will cost more than a grocery store, but the food is very fresh and you could see them cut it daily. There is no comparison.

It took me a while to post this resturaunt. Here it is! I love it! This resturaunt is the reason i now eat my authentic tacos with cucumbers and radishes. Who would of thought Id be eating those veggies. Its all thanks to El Progresso. Also when you add lime or lemon to the cucumbers, they become pickles. Try cucumbers and lime/lemon for a snack. Great eating.

Everything in the grocery is fresh, however the prices arent displayed for everything which is confusing. The food on their menu tastes amazing, even though they dont have everything on it. (Id recommend the beef buritto.) Only one or two of the employees seem to speak any English whatsoever, so theres a language barrier if you want to ask questions and dont speak Spanish yourself.Theres a barbershop and a tax office in the back of the store, which I did not check out.

We came in for chicken burritos, right before closing time. They informed us they were out of beans but they could substitute ingredients. I was a bit worried but went with it. I gotta say, best damn burrito ever!!! They put avocado, rice, cheese, potato, and freaking magic. Lol. Love, love this place!!
