Cool place, small independent shop like in Europe, South America, etc. Unique selection of products you wont find elsewhere. HOWEVER, be aware they will REFUSE to take your cash. I had 45 dollars worth of product and pulled out 50 dollars. Easy five dollars back, right? NO. They would NOT take the money and refused to accommodate (I can think of several ways to make it work). I unfortunately did not carry my credit cards with me because I switched wallets this morning but did not transfer the cards. Regardless, it seems silly to send away a customer with a guaranteed sale. You will probably see an answer form the owner/manager of the store saying that they are sorry, that they have been victims of robberies and so on. While it might be unfortunately true, it should not impact negatively a client/customer. We should have the right to pay cash or CC or electronic payment, the choice should be ours, not theirs.They made their business decision, I have made mine. Dont want my money? Wont be back. Full stop.

Stopped by this store and spent $150 on 3 steaks. 2 of the 3 steaks had a second price sticker almost perfectly over an original sticker. See pics below of $90 tomahawk steak with original pack date of 7/17 and then a second sticker of 7/23 (today) on top. The other was a $40 ribeye with the same thing. Seems very shady!

The selection can’t be beat! What an array of beef, chicken, seafood, and even specialty meats! The sides are amazing too. A one-stop shop for family dinner. The customer service was amazing as well! So welcoming and answered all the questions I had with knowledgeable, thoughtful answers. Highly recommend!

I randomly stopped by today since I needed some steaks. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor, the service and the selection they have. The steaks had marvelous marbling and were all prime grade or higher. I got 3 cowboy ribeyes and cooked them up on the grill. It was so delicious. Also the service was amazing and you can tell they were passionate about steak. The lady helping me couldnt stop talking about steak. She got me excited about the steak I was about to cook!Stop by for some premium cuts and amazing service.

The place has a very cool decor/set up and an impressive selection of meats, cheeses, etc. The service was lovely. The steak? Not so much. My husband and I got two 8 ounce fillet steaks to make for dinner that night. Out of the package one looked grayish in color. That one had such an unpleasant texture and flavor that we threw it away. The other was better but certainly not worth the price. It was $50.00 down the drain.

I always enjoy stopping in for unique finds. The selection is great and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. Everything we’ve tried has been excellent but we always come back for the andouille sausages and prosciutto. So good!

Really high quality meat!!

Stopped in today to pick up a brisket for the holiday weekend. Decided to come here instead of Publix because we figured we would be supporting a small, local business, and we thought we would receive top notch service. Asked for the brisket to be split into the point and the flat. The person behind the counter stared at me as if he didnt understand, but assured me that they could do that for us. After all, we are at a BUTCHER, right? When the employee came back, the brisket was merely cut in half. The point and the flat were now in two pieces, but still together. The two packages lined up in a perfect line where it was cut. I paid over $120 for this prime piece of beef and now have to try and salvage this at my kitchen counter. I think Ill stick to Publix going forward. At least they will actually butcher the meat Im purchasing.

Most places will simply sell you a cut of meat, but this place will make sure you leave with the absolute best products you could possibly have for the absolute best meal you could possibly have. In an age of one-size-fits-all service, this place makes sure you have a truly personalized experience. This is the kind of butcher shop your grandparents told you about and frequented. If youve read this far into review to figure out if you should go to this place, stop and go ahead and go there, youre not going to find a better butcher shop in all of Georgia.

The shop is beautifully design and the staff is knowledge and extremely helpful. The complimentary products sold are not only convenient but just as diverse and delicious are the main stars. It can be hard to decide. But the most important product in the store, the star,s the “center cut” are various top quality meats/proteins. There really is something for everyone. Every visit can result in bringing home a bag full of options, both familiar or something new to explore. I have visited three time in the short time the store has been open. Happy to have the BBS option in my neighborhood.

Our purchasing experience was unremarkable. The young ladies behind the counter greeted us but provided no information about the various products. We left the store with a vacuum packed ribeye for $52 for about 1.25 lbs. Because of the way the steak was packaged it was not possible to really see it. When we got it unwrapped I was shocked at the poor butchery. The steak was about 1.25 inches on one edge, and about .75 inch on the other edge. That kind of shoddy butchering on $52 piece of meat is unacceptable. The steak tasted pretty good but it was no more marbled or flavorful than the bone in ribeyes I buy at Publix for $12.99 a pound. I will not purchase meat here again.

Let me start off saying that I have eaten a lot of steak all over the world and have tried numerous mail order butcher shops in search of quality dry aged beef. Buckhead butcher shop just sold me a couple dry aged cowboy rib eyes for about half of what I paid last time I bought online and they were phenomenal, perfect flavor! Don’t go to Bones and spend $150 on a night out do yourself a favor and grab a top notch ribeye from them for $30!
