Had a four hour drive home and my check engine light came on, pulled up to have it checked, everyone was very nice and welcoming. Checked it out within 30 minutes. Very thankful I stopped here, would definitely recommend to anyone!
I needed air in my rear passenger tire. I pulled up and the manager was standing out front talking to one of the mechanics. I ask if they can put air in my tire because the (free) QT air pump was broken. They charged me $5 for air in one tire. Air… costs $5 for 20 psi. The manager said that his mechanic has a $2,000 work order to work on and he isn’t gonna stop to pump air in the tire unless it makes sense. But they were chillin out front when I pulled up. I don’t recommend this location for free air because it costs $5 per 20 psi. Definitely not happy. 😤
Very quick service was in and out within 20 minutes. Carl was very nice.
Came because my car wouldnt start and even though I normally visit precision on Mableton Pkwy this one is way better and friendlier with explaining the problem and whats need to be done has a great experience with CARL and I will be sure to return!!!!
Great spot for an oil change and quick service
I am rating Precision Tune Auto Center on Cheshire in Atlanta, GA, 0/0 stars because they did not properly perform the necessary maintenance on my car, which led me to spend over $1200 for a car that is still not running properly. On 8/14, the car started smoking and I had to have it towed from over an hour outside Atlanta. I informed Precision Tunes employees that I was in the middle of moving to Midwest with my wife in the car, therefore it was imperative that the car be fixed and running safely. When I picked it up Saturday afternoon, the mechanic told me to drive the car at least 30 miles to ensure that it was running before I continued on out of state. I only made it twenty miles before the car started smoking once again and the car had to be towed back due to them just filling up the coolant and oil due to the cap coming off, which was the original issue. After the second repair, which ended with them completely replacing the radiator, I didnt even make it a mile before the water pump went out on me. This is after I was assured that the car had been test driven by two separate people. I asked the employees if they actually test drove the car before me, they both stuck to the same story. Later they admitted that they failed to properly decompress the engine. The owner refused to pay for the damages that his mechanics caused and admitted to causing, but gave me a 50% for the water pump (paid $200). After the third repair, my wife and I left. We still had to pull over 5 times within two hours to prevent the engine from overheating in the middle of rush hour. Due to them not checking the engine light that was on saying p0118, the coolant temp sensor was not replaced and we had to pull over buy a new one, figure it out, and grab a hotel room because it was too late to keep driving. After we replaced the sensor and took off, it kept reading hot and due to the fan not cutting on when we were going below 40 MPH. It made it due to high speeds, but still acts up and STILL leaks coolant while driving. I will never return to Precision Tune Auto Care or recommend that anyone give them their business.
I wish I didnt have to give them a 1 star.there receptionist is nice.i brought my car there about 50 miles, they were to diagnose my car.tgey told me since my car wasnt starting I would need a starter, and battery at 800.AFter that they would be able to tell me whats wrong.I already told them before paying for a tow,I wasnt running.i then called the next day to find out what time I should be there with tow truck.Another man that wasnt working the previous day, said we are still diagnosing your car.He got rude, because the man that did look at it didnt write a note on papeers for my car..I then received a phone call from the receptionist, asking when I would be to get my car..in which I had already called at opening,n it was now 1-2 pm..they lack communication amounst themselves, and customers.I still had to pay for a diàgnosis I never received,as well as a second tow.i wouldnt advice anyone to go here...!!!
I’ve been going here over 2 years and never had any issues. The new owners are awful. I took my car here for a simple oil change and was told I needed a new power steering pump due to the “noise” and oil that has leaked. I drive my car everyday and never heard a noise. I sat here over 4 hours because they kept receiving “defective” pumps. Once I told them I had to go, they said the new pump would be there in 30 minutes. I instructed them to just put my old one back on because I had to go. My car sounds 10x worse then it did when I brought it in yesterday. Not returning.
This location has done general maintenance work on my vehicle on two occasions - oil changes, brakes, tire rotation, coolant top up, etc. Very nice and professional staff. No upselling. Very affordable. Waiting room is spotless and they are enforcing mask-rules (and offered a mask to another customer who came without one). I can get in and out in a lunch break. Will keep using them.
YALL DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION I repeat DONOT come to this location terrible customer this is my third time coming to this location and I have never had any issues until today.Service I came in to get a simple synthetic oil change. Originally called a day ahead to ask what the price was. The guy said it was $48 did not give exact amount over the phone which is understandable when I came into the store the guy stated that the price was indeed $48 but the system was down so he would not be able to give me any paperwork told him that was fine and I had a coupon that I wanted to use said he could only give it to me for the price which is $48 said the owner was on the way to fix the computer. Said owner had been on the way since 8:09 which is the time I arrived asked if since system was down could he charge me for something similar to the price of what it would be if my discount was applied to it . He said he could said that I could pay cash. Which was strange. HOW CAN I PAY THE $48 but not pay for something of similar price if system was down. Then stated that I could pay $45 instead still did not make any since. Then I asked if he could go ahead and start service on the vehicle and just charge he said no we have to come to an agreement on the price. Why do I need to come to an agreement on price when the price is what is advertised. Then we got into slight argument about him not wanting to honor price and that I could just wait until owner got here asked if he could call him he said no and walked out waited in car for 30 minutes came back in and asked how far owner was said he would call (which is what he could have done In the first place) called the owner explained how I was waiting said he would be in at 9:00 tired of waiting rude customer service will not be back again. I did not end up getting service after reading review because obviously the people who work and run the business are incompetent and and I don’t want my car meat up like everyone else’s on here.and for those of you who have ad issues just contact the BBB and get this location shut down until the get this location under control. Simple as that.
This is probably one of the worst mechanic shops in Buckhead. I brought my Audi In for simple spark plugs while I was in route to take my vehicle to reputable mechanic shop to fix “foreign” vehicles. But I decided to stop by this business, it has 3.8 rating which isn’t that bad but I’d give it a try to do something simple which is spark plugs. They take my car is diagnose it and inform me that I need spark plugs (which I already knew) a oil change (my car has a oil leak it’s a Audi they all leak oil) rear break bads and greasing my control arm bushings. Upon dropping my car off I see them put my car on their lifts and for 2-3 hours the lights were on my car. I can visually see it stay on for hours. I come back after they call and said all repairs are done. They promised the check engine light would disappear. I retrieve and pay for specifically for just spark plugs no oil change because I have 5 quarts of oil. They proclaimed noOil was in my vehicle but they didn’t know I literally just put 5 quarts of oil in the previous day. Moving forward they charge me around $300-400 to install spark plugs. I get in my vehicle and drive less than 100ft away to another business. Turn off my car, handleMy business and come right back out. Less than 60 seconds from getting my vehicle. My car won’t start, (hence the car being on the lift with the car on.) I get automatically upset because everything on my car was working fine before I brought it to them. I walk back to their establishment told them my issue. And they just give my car a jump. After I paid for diagnostics and repair for my spark plugs. Currently the car was taken to another expert shop to find out they chipped the spark plugs, killed my battery. I feel like they have sabotaged my vehicle. I’m currently in the process of making a civil suit for their malpractice.! They turned a $300-400 repair to $3000 worth of repairs. Do not let these people work on your vehicle.
Clayton is Awesome! Hell get your car right every time!
Well I came to the shop and was not greeted by anyone they just came up to me and said do you need a oil change? I said no I told them that I needed my air-conditioning fixed and they took my keys and that was that the customer service was lacking. I’m very happy with the job they did but the customer service was perfunctory at best. I know this because I am in customer service I did not have a good experience with the shop as some people told me would happen.
Best service in town!! The mechanic was up front with what I needed and no hidden costs. I like the experts that work on my car. They know what they are doing.
They broke my tire pressure sensor and would not replace it. Not a place that I recommend going to. They will break it and not cover the repair cost or repair it themselves..
The fastest, most painless, and best value oil change of my life. The owners really care about the community and they run a tight ship. I liked the tea and hot cocoa options with the coffee and the waiting area was perfectly clean and neat. Its definitely my new first choice for my next oil change!
Always efficient straight forward and accomplished skilled mechanics. Great place to get your car worked on
This shop is always thorough and fast. Pleasant customer service. They do outstanding affordable work. If you need mechanical work done to your vehicle I definitely recommend.
Ive been going to Precision for several years. Ive always appreciated their ability to perform quick and quality work. I do call ahead to see if they are overwhelmed as they are popular. The owners have worked with me on some items that I had better price quoted by another shop, but wanted to stick with Precision as I trust their work.
I was able to swing by and get the repair I needed done in about and hour and at a very reasonable price! I’d definitely go back to them.
I have already reaped the benefits of a year long promotion on my first visit. Even though I had already bought a booklet that includes or discounts a variety of services, the owner gave me the discount online that doubled the discount I was aware of. The owners are very nice and they were finished with everything very fast! I also appreciate the clean waiting room and restroom in addition to the complimentary coffee, tea and cold bottled water. I plan to do all of my preventive maintenance at this Precision Auto!
The belt broke on my car on the way to the airport. Im not from Atlanta so found the nearest shop to have it fixed. The cost was $454.00 for a new belt, a pulley and labor. It took about an hour. I was charged $154.11 for a pulley which is around $15-$20 at auto parts store. The owner brought a black, greasy spark plug to the waiting area to show me and said I also needed spark plugs. I declined getting the spark plugs changed because it was costing me so much to have the belt replaced. I just did a tune up on my car and the spark plugs I took out looked nothing like what he showed me. He outright lied and tried to scam me. I hope karma does its job, these guys should be out of business. LYING SCAM ARTISTS! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When it comes to car repairs or just a simple oil change, this is the shop to go to. Very Fast Friendly Service. On top of that they take the time to explain what is required and why. They offer several options and do their best to work with you. This is the only place I will take my car. Why? I trust them! That is something hard to find these days.Allen
Friendly staff, fast service, and prices that couldn’t be beat. With their current sale on oil changes right now, I paid $30 less than I would have at any other place. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. And both employees I spoke with were friendly, knowledgeable, and overall just great people to interact with!
Ive been a regular client of Precision Tune on Cheshire Bridge Road in Atlanta. I trust them to keep my work truck running smoothly! The service is always timely, professional and pleasant. Great value for me!
I called to ask a quick question about what services they provide and when the woman answer the phone, she said Precision Tune professionally, but I has just taken a sip of coffee and it made me cough a bit. I recovered quickly and said, so sorry, I was dri.. She cut me off and with a very rude, much different attitude than before, said, Can you hold. And without pause put me on hold. For 10 minutes. I finally just hung up. Guess she didnt like the cough, lol.
Nobody loves getting their car fixed, but precision tune auto car is about the best that I could ask for. The staff is very friendly. Work is generally performed quickly, and their prices are reasonable. You wont be disappointed with the husband and wife team who own this place. Highly recommend!
Heres how you get one star on Google (Precision Tune)Guy enters your parking lot. Woman tells him to park car. Guy says he just has a quick question. Women tells him again to park the car. There are no cars behind him waiting. Guy asks if she works here . Woman says shes the owner . Guy asked question anyway. My tire light is on do you check the air in the tires? Woman says we dont do that.Guy who is handicapped (didnt want to put physical effort in a quick yes or no situation) went somewhere who did this service… Found a screw in tire, checked other three tires, done in minutes, received a 50% tip. Friend in car and I were both impressed that they jacked up the car and checked all the tires without asking us to get out of the car! (did this with no knowledge of my disability) if anyone else is in need of a tire, a plug, or just have your air checked I highly recommend going to these people. Ill edit this review with their information...Kingray Used Tires 1716 Defoor Pl NW, Atlanta, GA 30318
They get you in and out pretty quickly. I have no complaints about precision auto tune. TheyTheir oil change is also fairly priced so I will continue to use them. They also offer other services as well
I can’t say high enough praises to the guys here! Not only were they extremely professional, but they made the process a breeze, and completed the work in no time. I previously went to a dealer for a repair, and they quoted me thousands, and the guys were able to complete it quickly and for a minimal cost. I will definitely recommend others to come visit them, and will be continue my car service with them for years to come.
I took my vehicle for a diagnosis and they half diagnosed my car, told me I didnt need a auxillary water pump only to find out I did. They also recommended me using blue Devil for my cooling system and I found out that its the worse product for a high end European vehicle. They are pure trash as far as doing good work on certain most cars, DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE
Locally owned. I came in for an oil change around 11:00am on a Monday. There was no wait. The owner’s wife promptly greeted me at the counter and took care of me. I ended up needing new break pads and a tire rotation as well. All of this took only about 25-35 minutes. There was coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and cold water bottles in the waiting area. That was a nice touch. Overall, I was very pleased with experience at this Precision Tune and will definitely be returning for any future automotive needs. (Heads Up: Check their website for coupons before you go!)
Be ready to be up-sold. The front desk lady acts like she knows what shes talking about but DOES NOT. I went there for a basic oil change for my old 92 Honda Accord. The lady proceeding to tell me that this models manufacturer recommended oil is full synthetic & that they ONLY do what the manufacturer RECOMMENDS! Since when?? LOL.1st - 92 Honda accord manufacturer recommendation is a BLEND - not FULL SYNTHETIC.2. Ive used this place before and theyve changed oil on this car with non-synthetic oil.Its just BS to increase sales on idiots.
I have two vans and my sons both bring their cars to Albert. He and his staff give professional service and actually explain in great detail what is going on with the vehicles. Honest people who do great work. Even thought they are busy all the time, they still make the repairs happen fast and get us back on the road!
Just got an oil change but the service was amazing. Happy to support a locally owned business. Friendly, fast and well priced service! Will definitely be back.
Took My mini cooper here for a tune up.. found out I needed Ignition coils.. Now, I hear a winding and rattle when I drive.. I finally pop my hood today and find My engine cover not on, my wires resting on hot surfaces. And I need transmission fluid and filter. I payed 519.00 for ignition coils... They forgot the tune up. They are very nice I feel like I can go back and have my car examined and finally get to the bottom of that sound. Not so confident, but most people are good in general.
Went in on Saturday morning and left Saturday morning. Oil change and tune-up. Great seating area and all the water you can drink. Price was good, if your like me and ride your vehicle the money is not a problem. Will go back in 4000 miles to get oil changed. Great people, good work and reasonable prices. Try them out.
Don’t get ripped off! I took a car there for them to check out a misfire, and replace spark plugs (or otherwise fix the misfire). The owner, Kim, quoted me an exorbitant amount to do the work (Almost $900 to replace spark plugs and 4 coils). I declined repairs and came to pick up the car. When I did, the engine would not run for more than about 20 seconds. It ran weak and died on me twice before I even made it to the light at Lindbergh. I had to abandon it in a nearby parking lot. When I confronted Kim, he lied, said they didn’t touch anything under the hood (even though I paid for a full inspection), and blamed me for not spending money to rectify an issue that was nonexistent before I brought my car there. I had to get to work, so I left the car at Publix and took rideshare. I returned the next day to take a closer look... after reading reviews of this business, I saw where another customer said Kim disconnected his air intake. Well, he tried a similar trick on me. The 4th cylinder coil pack was unplugged. My misfire was in cylinder #3. What a con-man! Since I didn’t want to pay his outrageous prices, he sabotaged my car’s engine... he even had the audacity to tell me that if I OK’d the repairs, his team would get my car back across the street from Publix. Of course they would! I plugged everything back in and the car ran fine again. Check out the other bad reviews on here, and then decide if you want to trust these liars with your car.
Great quick service
Never again Precision Tune Auto Care. NEVER AGAIN. Yesterday I washed my car (2013 Kia Soul) for the first time in a long while. I detailed it inside and out. I got in after cleaning the car and the check engine light came on. No big deal at the time because I thought I had a trustworthy mechanic who I had taken several cars to. Today i decided to give my trustworthy mechanic a visit. I walked in I greeted his wife behind the counter and began to tell her what had happened. She took my info and my keys and told me theyd run a diagnostic. I noticed a man who had been in line ahead of me as I waited. After a few minutes I see the mechanic come back. I listened to the mechanic tell the guy what was going on with his vehicle. He said he needed a tune up, new ignition coils, and an air induction service. The cost? $1000. I sat nervously hoping he wouldnt return and tell me something similar. 5 minutes passes and the mechanic returns and sends me red flags when he tells me I also need a tune up, new ignition coils, and an air induction service. I thought to myself what are the odds that two black men walk in back to back with the exact same issue going on. The mechanic explains to me that the price would be $637. I let him know that wouldnt be possible and asked if I could just do the tune up. He tells me the tune up is pointless unless he does the other repairs, I dont trust what hes saying and decide to do some research myself. I hadnt made it out if the parking lot before Youtube had provided me a video with instructions on how to change the Ignition Coils. I watch the video and remove one of the ignition coils just to make sure what part Ill need. Then I placed it back where I removed it from and got in the car to head to an auto parts shop only to realize my check engine light is now OFF............ Just to be sure that I wasnt fooling myself i drove around for over an hour to see if it would come on again. It didnt..... Keep in mind i hadnt ever noticed any issues with how my car drives. The light only came on after washing my car this once which I told them at Precision from jump. I found myself happy that I trusted my better judgement and went forward with no repairs. Thats a large sum of money to waste. After deliberating about the situation I decided to call Precision Tune Auto Care to let them know what I discovered and that I didnt feel what they were doing was trustworthy. I let the lady at the desk know that my feelings were hurt that they would handle my issue this way after so many years of me coming to them and sending others. She was very unapologetic about the situation and replied she isnt the mechanic. Seconds later the mechanic snatches the phone from her and asks me in a huff what the problem is. I explained to him I had been there earlier and what he told me was inaccurate. I also told him that I wouldnt be returning because I no longer trust how he handles business. He yells into the phone that if the coil needs to be replaced then simply taking it out and putting it back in wouldnt fix anything. In his desperate attempt to stand by his scam he replied Disconnecting the battery cable will make the check engine light turn off as if what I was telling him was the most foolish thing he had ever heard. I say to him, Well Ive been driving over an hour since I put the coil back in and the light still hasnt come back on...... If I have the issues you say I have the light should still be on.... At this point he became angry and got even louder. I let him know I didnt call to argue. I called to let him know he had lost a loyal customer and his demeanor about the situation let me know Im making a wise decision to no longer do business with him or Precision Tune Auto Care. I understand business is business and a mechanic needs to make money, but when it comes to a loyal customer a level of care should be shown. Ill never spend another cent with Precision.
I travel across town to go to this location for the exceptional level of service.
My experience was nothing short of horrible. Bringing my wifes car to be service here was an utter mistake. With the owner being a prior Marine I would expect a tighter ship to be run but unfortunately not. My wifes lug wrench was left thrown in the luggage area and the wheel locks which were in the compartment with the lug wrench originally was nowhere to be found so in the event my wife has a flat the tire can not be changed. On top of all this I asked them to top off my wifes vehicle fluids and low and behold no wiper fluid. The only time I will return to this establishment is to get my wifes wheel locks and to discuss professional service. I regret coming to this establishment. Too bad negative stars can not be given.Update 5/31/18-I received a call this morning from the owners wife about my review and inquired about the review not our specific dissatisfaction but the review. The conversation continued and she informed that leaving our lug wrench laying in the luggage area and not returning our lug key was an accident and no malice intent which i tend to agree but take some ownership of the incident and apologize would have been the right thing to do and not blow off my safety concerns due to not being able to remove the wheel in case of a flat. I believe this could be a teaching moment for the technician who worked on my vehicle to pay closer attention but that is what I would do.
The owners are very nice, the quality of the work is great, they make you feel like family when you walk in the door, they have complimentary coffee & water, the facilities are kept clean, and you will be happy with the job they do, guaranteed. I highly recommend this place for your auto needs.
Took my truck in for an oil change and had it out in thirty minutes. No appointment. No problem. Spent my time talking to the owner Steve who is crazy fun and definitely a passionate man for his work. Bathrooms are amazingly clean, coffee is delicious, and time passes without a breeze. If you base your decisions on reviews, dont look any further, I guarantee this is a right pick. (Any negative reviews found are with previous owner and should be disregarded). (:
I first called because I thought I had a bearing issue. I spoke with Steven and instead of automatically taking my business (and money), he told me I should try and have the dealer cover the repair and to let him know if they wouldnt (they wouldnt). I called him back a few days later and he was so helpful, got the part delivered and installed within 24 hours at a better price. I feel like I can go there to get an honest opinion and fair price.
Excellent customer service. I went early in the morning and my oil change was done less than 30 minutes. They have 2 awesome specials right now via online coupons for $39.90 5 qts synthetic oil and $18.90 for 5qt of conventional oil both end 04/30/19.
Awesome quick honest service! Definitely recommend!
The customer service is top notch! Steve the owner definitely made sure to take care of me and my vehicle. Always speedy service and unlike other auto repair shops, they have FAIR PRICES. Id recommend them again and again:)
Speedy service...took away a star because of small waiting area for amount of customers in building...not enough chairs to social distance...had to wait outside on smoking bench (not plus size friendly) breaking apart...luckily it was a beautiful day & not too hott
Very nice husband and wife that work there. I took 2 stars away because the coupon said they would top off fluids. My partner in Conyers says the Precision Tune there always tops his off. These people on Cheshire Bridge said they dont do that nor could they remember if they even checked mine. Apparently, I need to find a Precision Tune that does what the services are that are outlined in their service agreements.
Honest, knowledgeable, fast, and competitive pricing. Much of the staff at my location came from the local Toyota dealership, so they know my 4Runner inside and out. After having multiple shops quote me an expensive repair, they solved the problem for $10 by having me replace the gas cap! When I got my brakes / rotors changed recently, they personally drove me back to my condo so I wouldnt have to wait at the shop. Friendly staff willing to walk you over to the vehicle, show you the problem, and explain it in simple terms. Hard to find shops like this anymore!
Very nice greet when you walk in. Very fast and very reliable work.
Beware - These guys are the biggest thiefs in the business. I went in for a diagnostic test - the guy said ..Well you need a whole new catalytic converter - also the air intake needed cleaning - (total cost $1000.00) I knew what the problem was before I went in - it needed a $75 oxygen sensor.I ran out of the office jumped in my car and could not make it to the Chevron station across the street without the car cutting off. He left the air intake hose loose. What a cheap trick. I would not trust these guys with a wooden nickel - Do not be fooled by the other paid or fake reviews they are wrong.
Ive been going to Precision Tune for about 8 years now and have never had a bad experience at any locations throughout the states I visit. I love the customer service and care they provide. This one on Cheshire Bridge Road in Atlanta does not deserve to be called Precision Tune. My experience with them on Monday was the worst. I am reaching out to upper management to file a complaint. They lied to me, overcharged me, and refused to do work that was included in what I paid for. The guy that worked on my car was very rude and acted like I was a bother. Please dont go to this shop. Precision Tune is so much better than this.
After being charged $9.99 for a total car inspection and $1,200+ for services I didnt need or want at Firestone off of Lenox Rd., I called and spoke with Steve for a second quote. He got my car in right away and did an inspection for FREE. He was able to show me the wear on my front and rear brakes and determined that I didnt need to replace the back brakes or rooters as previously quoted at Firestone. I was able to get out the door with everything I needed (replacing front brakes/rooters/flush brake system/replace lights out/oil change) for around $500.00. I will only be using Steve and Precision from now on. Do yourself a favor and call for at least a second quote. They actually care about their reputation and treat people fairly. Extra thanks to Steve & Co. for taking such great care of my car and me.
I came in for the $39.99 special on a synthetic oil change. The synthetic oil changes were always about $70 at another well known chain. I tried to schedule an appointment online but I dont think they have that service. I got there around 1:00 and they said one person was in front of me. Cool. Im familiar with the area so my plan was to walk to the McDonalds or the Publix near by. They called and told me another thing that was wrong with the car. I have the man my budget and told him to fix as he could with that. He helped me with a couple of coupons and less than an hour later, they were calling to say tha car was done. I was shocked. It was fast and they were kind and theyve earned a new customer. Its located on a busy street. Theres no turning lane and parking lot is small so it may get tight when theyre crowded but Im happy and Ill be back.
Omg I love the service 🙌🏼 My first time going by n I must say you guys did a awesome 👏🏼 job and the lady who do the paperwork she make you feel so welcome I told her my name one time n she never forgot it she addressed me by my name ... i have a Audi and I took my car to 2 different people they didn’t know how to fix it so I took it to precision tune and they fix my car with no problem 😍😍 the best
This team did great. They have transparent and upfront pricing. I will take my vehicle back for service.
Showed up late in the day on a Friday before a holiday weekend.... they squeezed me in for a break job in no time. Affordable, honest, and fast work!!
Came in to replace battery on Lexus. They got in the phone a made sure battery supplier got here within 20 min. Replaced batteryGood to go in 30 min total. Nice courteous service. Great place!!
Very nice people. Had to replace a corroded terminal. They replaced it cheaply and quickly. I was very happy with the service
This place has tricky and deceptive advertising. Online coupon for A/C Check isnt honored if you go in to have your A/C Recharged for $139. They said the AC Check is a visual check which you pay ANOTHER amount for BEFORE they decide to do a recharge. I said I know I need a recharge. They said, too bad, coupons no good for that. So I said well Im certainly not paying for the visual check also. Then when time came to pay the 139 for the Recharge, which was up on their price list, they had added $11 for shop parts, which was down in fine print on the other side of the big price board. I said Im not paying that as the board says $139 for a Recharge. Period. They finally agreed. But I dont trust them as far as I can throw them. Wont go back.
Super friendly. Super fast oil change (~10 min.). Super hard working. And reasonable prices even on air filters!
Well I was driving down the road today, I noticed that my tire pressure light came on. I drove down to Kaufman Tire on Cheshire Bridge and they found something in my rear drivers side Tire. I chose not to get it fixed there as they had a two and a half hour wait, but they did air me up and let me keep going down the road.I reached out to Precision Tune and they said did plugs and would be able to repair it if it was able to be repaired. The charge would be $25 plus tax. Final charge actually was $27.16. That was $25 for labor(!), $2 for shop supplies(!) and $0.16 for tax (!). I really hated to have to cough that much up because I just had to get brakes and rotors and tires recently. Plus that $27.16 is probably the most expensive price Id ever heard in 44 years on this earth. (In the Atlanta area, Discount Tire will put a plug on for free. A lot of places will do a plug or patch as low as 15 or 20 bucks. So somewhere like that is where Id normally where I go if I had a slow leak, but I didnt have any time to shop around today.)Im glad they werent busy and Im really glad that they could help me out and have me rolling in less than 30 minutes. Thats exactly why Im Giving them 4 stars today. I would probably say about 3 and 1/2, but 4 will do since they really helped me out.Honestly, if I were in the same situation again and had a fast flowing air leak, I would definitely revisit the business. I know theyre going to do a good service for me, but I know theyre also going to charge me and get paid. A fair trade off if you are in a time crunch. Even though I felt the price was a little bit high, its much cheaper than a Wrecker Bill or new tire. Definitely impressed with the speed; Cant complain at all about that. Thanks for taking care of me in my time of need, Precision Tune! You definitely earned your cash!
Fast and upfront about the cost. Didnt try to pressure me into things I didnt need. I will be going here again the next time I need to get an oil change.
Family operated, straightforward, honest. Kim and Syria are a great team.
They take care of you over here. Dont be afraid to ask questions and they will give you honest and fair advice. This place has saved me time and money.
They never have the oil for the special in stock at this location. They use any excuse to get you to spend as much money as possible.
They were great upon answering the phone even on a busy Saturday. Told me to come on in and knew me when I came in. They didnt have the battery for my car but ordered and got in within an hour. Installed and ready soon after. I was not in a hurry because I had a ride to leave and come back. They were very friendly. Not sure what else I would ask for. Oh. My car starts now.. a plus.
Very bad experience. I was sold a battery with a faulty cell that died within one month of me having my battery replaced. I had my battery replaced at the closest Advanced Auto since it was 7pm and Precision Tune closes at 6. Like most, Im reliant on my car for work and this was the only choice I had. I took the bad battery back to Precision Tune to seek a refund and was told they dont sell that battery there and that its the wrong size for my car, but luckily I had my receipt. Fortunately, I knew they bought their batteries from AA, so I went down there and got a refund because of the trouble I was put through with Precision Tune. I hate giving bad reviews, but this is just a classic case of a auto shop trying to take advantage of Advanced Autos guarantees and a customers situation.
Great experience quick and easy, under 30mins for breaks my kind of shop. Will be back for future repairs. Great Team, of shop men nice and clean waiting area.Steve is a straight shooter tells you what he suggest and delivers. Thanks !!!
I guess it must have wrong day for me to visit this place. I frequent the Buckhead area and needed an oil change. I had been there before. I googled to what time they closed, it indicated 6:00pm. I got there at 5:10. I was rudely informed by the female owner that they had taken the last customer at 4:30.( I should have known something was ary because all the bays were down and no one was doing work) Since I had been there before I was about to enquire as to typical what is the latest I could get a oil change. However the look on the female owners face suggested that she didn’t want any enquiry and just wanted me to leave. I express to her that I felt belittled by her response to me. I told her she acted as if I wanted to rob the place or something. Her husband owner came out and expressed sentiments as her. I guess it was wrong day and wrong ethnicity for me today. Wow!
They had me in and out. I will return to this location again.
Great service. They immediately got me in and serviced my vehicle. I would definitely recommend these guys any day.
They will lie to you, and try to take your money. If you have to go here for an oil change you may make it out okay, but past that I wouldnt bother. They all have a certification in using google. Brought a vehicle in for overheating and they decided to google whats wrong and change that. Never did any diagnostic work. They then returned the truck to me with the same problem. Called them about it and they said to bring it back in. Again they had it and this time they charged me $500 dollars for the second time. I wasnt happy but as long as the problem was fixed I was okay with it. Well didnt even make it but 5 minutes down the road to realize the problem wasnt fixed. I asked them before I picked it up but they claimed that they had ran it for an hour and test drove it. Apparently not. Took it to someone else that actually diagnosed the problem as opposed to blindly replacing parts and overcharging customers. If you want the problem fixed find somewhere with a real mechanic, because you wont find one at this location.
The top ratings/reviews speak for themselves! These guys are great at what they do & amazing people in general. Thanks for the top notch service :) A+++
Spent almost $2000 on break system and had to take my car 4 different times and break light is still coming on. Then asked one of the owners to look over a car before I bought it to make sure it was in decent shape and he told me that the car was ok and it ended having a blown head gasket. They are not trust worthy at all.
Walked in and the lady that works there was being rude to another customer. Then she interrupted me twice. They overcharged another customer and tried to overcharge me. Do not go here. Mavis tire is close by.
Don’t go to this shop. I recently had an oil change and a few other things done to my car and when I left my car started making a loud crazy noise that it wasn’t making before. Also, when I called the shop to ask why it wasn’t doing this before but now AFTER they worked on it, and the receptionist insulted me saying I didn’t know anything about cars and that sound has nothing to do with the work they did on my car. Also, instead of trying to see if there was anything they could do they said I could come in to spend MORE MONEY just for them to see how they messed it up in the first place! DO NOT RECOMMEND CONING HERE
After 3 years of searching I think I may have found my go to mechanic for my vehicle. I was charged $89 at pep boys and it took all afternoon almost 4 hours for an oil change so when I called for pricing and I was told $44 and he could have me out in 20-30 mins, I was sold. Ofcourse I knew my brakes were squeaking and needed attention but I was afraid of the damage I had already done and the cost to repair them. Everyone was very friendly as I checked in and I asked for a possible quote on what was causing my brakes to squeak at the register and they came back with the a solution and what seemed like affordable pricing but I didnt have that on me. Id need to use another card I had left at home to pay for my brakes! They helped me tremendously with acquiring the card I needed and had my vehicle ready for me the second I got back to the shop! I got there at 3:30 and they had everything ready before 5 pm! Its never driven better and I was able to beat the crazy traffic home!! Thank you guys SO much you have created a raving fan out of me and Ill be telling everyone I know about you!
Great service 👍
Great family business. I trust that Im receiving reliable service.
Been here 3 times for 3 different vehicles... Havent had any issues. Accurate estimates on time and cost. Thanks!
These guys rock! I have trusted them with my car for years. They go above and beyond every time.
Beware of deceptive practices at this location. I brought my car in for a diagnostic due to some issues with my car. At that time, my check engine light was on and we advised them of such. I paid over a $1000 for repairs. When I picked up my car, the engine light was still on. The owner stated that the technician forgot to reset the light. He took my car back to the repair area and returned it with the check engine light off. He said I simply needed to drive it a bit and sent me on my way. Within a day or so, the light came on again. I returned to thia location and was quoted over $500 for additional repairs for a different issue that, if accurate, should have been detected during the initial diagnostic. Moreover, my companion asked about this same issue (timing chain) prior to my car being repaired and the owner stated it was a non-issue. I asked the owner why this wasn’t detected when I initially brought my car in for a diagnostic. He made a number of excuses and inconsistent statements, one of which is that I didn’t bring my car in for the check engine light. I’m baffled as to how a customer can bring a car into a repair shop for a diagnostic with the check engine light on, advise that the light is on, can clearly see the light is on, bring it to the owner’s attention that the light is still on after repairs, have the owner brush it off as an issue that would resolve itself after driving it a bit, but somehow the owner concludes that I didn’t bring my car in for the check engine light. Huh? In my opinion, that’s analogous to going to the doctor for a cough but he ignores a huge knot on your head because that’s not what you came in for. I was misled and believe a visual diagnostic was done based on what I told them I thought was going on with the car instead of computerized diagnostic which should have been done because my check engine light was on. Other mechanics agree. They likely assumed the check engine light was related to the issues I stated that I was having with my car and didn’t bother to do a proper diagnostic. I asked for a print out of the computerized diagnostic but was told a print out was not available. When I pressed for more info, I was then told that they don’t always do a computerized diagnostic. Numerous misrepresations and inconsistencies. If done correctly and thoroughly, along with fair business practices, I would have been able to make an informed decision about repairs for my car. I will have to incur additional costs to get another diagnostic and determine what was and should have been done to my vehicle. Needless to say, I’m extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend this business.
Really hoped this shop would work out as a place to have my vehicle repairs done, because its close to where I live, but unfortunately, whatever technician they had at the time of the attempted repair to a Chevy Silverado of mine resulted in more problems than I had with the truck before I brought it in. A lot of fast-talking explaning away went into their excuses as to why the problem was worse after they attempted the repair, which had to do with several actuators in the heating and cooling system under the dash. When I brought the truck in there was one aspect of the heating/cooling system working incorrectly in a minor, but irritatingly noisy way. After they attempted to repair it, and then re-repair it (which I was charged for) the whole system was out of whack, with no heat working at all. I brought this up and was hit with the same fast-talking explaining away about how I would need to pay to have the re-repair re-repaired, and knew at this point I was just going to have to accept the wasted time and money, and take it to a repair shop that staffs thoroughly trained and competent technicians. Theres definitely a glitch in oversight at this garage, and for any serious repair I will never take my vehicles here again.I was also once given a quote over the phone for changing out a starter in my Honda CRV that had broken down in the Publix parking lot around the corner that was 4 times higher than a mechanic I used to take my vehicles to when I lived in Decatur, who I of course had the CRV towed to, and they performed the repair perfectly.
Fastest oil change ever!!! This will be my go to spot. This was during busy hours also. Thanks Kim for the front desk service
Beware - These guys are the biggest thiefs in the business. I went in for a diagnostic test - the guy said ..Well you need two tires and a whole new catalytic converter - also the air intake needed cleaning - (total cost $1500.00) I knew what the problem was before I went in - it needed a $75 oxygen sensor.I ran out of the office jumped in my car and could not make it to the Chevron station across the street without the car cutting off. He left the air intake hose loose. What a cheap trick. I would not trust these guys with a wooden nickel - Do not be fooled by the other paid or fake reviews they are wrong.
Fast clean service. I had a checkup before heading back home for the Holliday and they took care of it all.
They are fast and the family owned business is friendly. Whatever I can get done there ..I go to them first
This is a pretty fair and decent place to do business
Had a horrible experience let my girlfriend take her car here. 4 visits and almost $2000 later car was still having same problems they do not know what they are doing. I wouldnt even take your car here for an oil change!!!! Beware horrible service! Wish I didnt even have to give them a 1 star rating they deserve -3 stars.
The hours say the close at 6 but I got there at 5:20 and they were gone. So unprofessional.
They did a great job on my tire replacement and beat the prices of all the other shops I called.
The worst experience I have ever had. The manager is extremely rude and disrespectful to customers and will take advantage of you if you do not know anything about cars.PLEASE DO NOT waste your time or your money; because you will definitely waste your money. I wish I could give it 0 stars but Google doesnt allow that obviously.
About twice as expensive as the Precision Tune Auto Care that I normally go to, and immediately after I left, I ran into expensive car troubles that werent diagnosed, even though they tried to sell me on every other service they could fathom. At least my oil change went well, I suppose.
If I could I put zero stars I would. Extremely rude customer service from the couple. Upon asking questions to determine if it would be worth towing my car again today he clearly became frustrated and disrespectful first telling his wife to “give him the phone & let him talk to me” then telling me “to stop guessing what’s wrong with my car and just bring it to the shop”. I was extremely appalled that someone could speak to a POTENTIAL customer with such disrespect & forceful tone. Thank you for preventing me from ever using your services.
Went in today for an oil change. Man at front desk was extremely rude and condescending. Had coupon but they refused to honor it. Will not be coming back every again due to how rude they were to clients.
Great Swift oil changes!
I have never been here but I can attest to what the people are saying about this company. I just called at 1pm to ask about an oil change and was told by the guy that answered they were closed for the day and I could come in Monday. Then I proceeded to ask him another question and he hung up the phone. I called back and he sent my call to VM. I will not be bring my vehicle here.
