Probably the best selection and pricing for wine and liquor in Arlington that I’ve found. The people who work here are knowledgeable and know their wine pretty well. This is where I come when I want to get some nice beer, wine, and single malt scotch.

Warning! Do not shop here! I saw numerous employees not wearing masks in the store. I’m in my thirties with my MA drivers license and they refused to sell me alcohol unless I pulled my mask down so they could see my face! I’ve been coming to this store regularly for 5 years and they know me. The owner told me he has asked a bunch of customers to pull their masks down! I told him how dangerous that is, but he didn’t seem to get it. He wasn’t even wearing his mask! Also, their prices are outrageous. Be safe and go to better liquor stores like Total Wine or even Arlington Liquors right around the corner from this Mystic Wine place I’ll never go back to.

Great selection

Huge kudos to Mystic Wine Shoppe for keeping everyone safe during this Covid-19 pandemic! The staff made sure everyone was wearing masks and keeping a safe distance. After I got recommendations from the knowledgable staff and approached the register, the cashier asked me to quickly lower my mask so she could check my ID. Its not easy to require masks AND ensure you are not selling to minors, but Mystic Wine Shoppe did a great job! Keep up the good work.

Love this shop. As my local spot, the beer selection is great and they always have a fresh batch of Night Shift! The wine is great as well. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is the cheaper white wine selection is a bit limited. The trade off is that all the wines are great. Also, all the staff is super nice and helpful.

This is a beautiful liquor store conveniently located next to a grocery store. They have a wide array of wines and their staff has always been very helpful. Pus, they do free weekend beer and wine tastings, which is awesome.

Bright interior, friendly vibe with very eager to help staff, and a nicely judged selection of craft beers and spirits. I havent delved into the wines yet, but this is a very welcome addition to the Arlington liquor store scene. Weve come a long way from being a dry town!

Very nice liquor store with wide variety of wines, liquors and craft beers. I am always looking for the right bottle of red to pair with my dinners and the staff always has great recommendations! They always offer special orders if you want an item in bulk, which I am looking into for my bridal shower this spring (They carry a lot of brands of prosecco and champagne). Overall, I would highly recommend for their great deals, monthly specials and tastings!

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE, treated my husband like he was a bum and totally OVERPRICED !!!! Go to Bermans in Lexington or Burlington Wine and Spirits next to Market Basket, they are both very friendly and not SNOBS

I really love this place for three reasons - 1) Fantastic selection, 2) Reasonable prices, and 3) Frequent wine tastings. The fact that it is close to stop and shop makes it quite convenient.

Pretty solid place to get craft beer and wine, though nothing that hard to get. I come here from Arlington Center because its the easiest walk.

I like to shop in local stores to support local business; however, I will never set a foot in this store after the way I was treated last night. I was insulted, yelled at and called a drunk by the person in the front desk. Let me narrate part of my story:Me: hi, I am looking for some sparkling white winePerson in front desk: (laughs in condescending manner) you do no lt know what you are talking about. That could be anything.Me: maybe I should go to another liquor store where employees do not make fun of customers. There is another liquor store around the corner.Person in front desk: yells at the GET OUT OF HERE. YOU ARE BANNED FROM HERE.. (The story continues but you can see where this going)It is a shame that a very rude and ignorant employee tarnished the name of this establishment. Especially, when you take into consideration that there is another liquor store less than a mile away.

I stop by here on the weekends all the time and they always seem to have local beer tastings going on. Wine selection is great and the staff has recommended some great bottles.

My favorite. Beer tasting Friday evenings, wine tasting Saturday evenings.

Ive only shopped in here a couple of times and I havent had an issue but when my husband shops in this store he is frequently given dirty looks by the employees. Im not sure if its because he works in construction and looks dusty after work or because he has long hair or because he takes his time browsing but because of the way feels hes treated, neither of us will be shopping here any more.
