Great little liquor store with a huge selection.

Went to get drinks for a Bachelorette party. They had everything we needed. Since this is a local business, I wasnt sure if theyd have everything. I was so grateful we didnt have to go to more then one place. It was well laid out and made everything easy to see and find. Only downside, is I wish they would have had mixers for our drinks. They stand was very kind and helpful to us.

This place is weirdly understocked.., we learned that there will be new ownership of it soon. The prices were high on the remaining inventory as if they don’t really want to sell it.

Easy to get to location, small(ish) neighborhood liquor store. Nothing fancy, good selection and reasonable prices.

I usually like this place for exactly all the reasons stated by the other reviewers. Usually friendly service and its really great to support the smaller businesses, but at this time during the pandemic I find it impossible to return to this store. When I walked in the cashier, a young man, had his mask below his nose, as did the manager/owner. When I reminded the young man his mask works best above his nose, he sassed me. I mentioned this to the manager/owner who also had his mask below his nose. Then, as I am cashing out a man walks in without his mask and they wait on him. Really? Clean up your act. Truly commit to stopping the spread of Covid.

My favorite place

I do put some pride into taking my business to the owner operator stores, and I do enjoy the staff and the store is nice, however, expect to pay on average 50-60% more than anywhere else. I only go here in a pinch and would never go here unless its something small. They just charge entirely too much, especially when Specs and/or Total Wine is roughly a 5 min drive from here. Sorry guys, at least be competitive.

Its convenient and few people in there right now last few times I went. Prices ok. Theyve reduced the square footage compared to initial opening years ago under new management. Not sure if they still have wine or not, but not why I go there.

Fossil creek is okay. They recently cut the store size down in half. The staff is consistent and are very nice. Ive been coming here for a few years. Sometimes they wont have a common brand item and they dont have the best wine selection but most of what your looking for will be here. Prices are pretty consistent.

I enjoy going in there on my way home from work. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming even though I’m extremely shy and high anxiety- I don’t feel cornered. In Total Wine I am overwhelmed! They have a good selection of liquor and spiked beverages so I’m always checking the back for new stuff !Side note : I also have a huge crush on one of the store associates but that’s beside the point. :)))

I absolutely love the crew here. Knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, especially if they have questions about a particular liquor, beer, or mixed drinks. Great selection of craft beer as well.

I like to give my business to the smaller stores even if it’s means paying a little more. But please be ware of spending big money at this store. I bought a bottle of expensive liquor for my husband and really over paid. It was over priced by $70 compared to Specs. Fossil Creeks price= $189.99. Specs price $111. Although Fossil Creek is convenient, you should go to Specs if you’re buying special or expensive liquor. They will make you pay more, way more for the convenience.

This review is solely based on one employee. The young man that works there with the long hair is rude, unprofessional, and has no customer service skills. I was trying to be helpful with my transaction and he just belittled me.

A really nice store. Prices are competitive, but a bit high. They really push the Texas brands. Which are pretty good. The staff is very helpful & won sound time with you to help make choices if you like. Or browse at your leisure.

Prices are higher than other places plus they dont carry mid or high grade liquors. I asked the cashiers if they had Flor De Cana 12 year and the guy with long hair just said nope while walking off like he didnt care.

The Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I know that at the moment they are going through a transition, and the store is currently for sale. They are keeping the shelves stocked with the top 25 sellers. Also, if you come at the first of the month and the middle of the month, when they receive their trucks, you will more than likely find what you are looking for. I hope they find a buyer soon, as I love this store, the employees, and the easy in and out location.

Id say its a great store for vodkas. They have a large selection now. Its also conveniently placed/located on Bowen.

The staff here is always very helpful and friendly. I think I would drive out of my way to go to this liquor store just because the staff is so nice. I went in looking for ingredients to make some homemade eggnog, and they had great suggestions. Ive also gone here after work when my clothes were pretty dirty, and nobody made me feel out of place. And the selection here is always impressive.

I used to be at this location nearly every Thursday-Saturday offering my engraving services. The manager & employees were awesome, friendly, helpful & cheerful. Was a great small business that I wanted to help grow & they were all about helping me to grow my engraving business. New owner came in and made negative changes that tore down moral of the employees and has pretty much destroyed what was an asset to this small community. Really sad to watch a booming business decline so fast.

Sorry to say, I go here less and less often as I used to, which was at least once a week.....now only as a need to convenience.Used to be well stocked with friendly attentive staff. Now its sparse and very poorly stocked.....(appears to be in the middle stages of closing).Im sorry to say, Ill no longer be going there.

This place is done. Its a great location but it empty shelves tell the tale of a business that is on its last leg. On the upside if you go in on a Friday afternoon someone will be offering samples of booze you would probably never purchase.

Eh, the staff were friendly and helpful, but store itself is not well stocked. Ive been to this store twice, and many shelves seemed bare. Not a lot of selection, especially with mixers/chasers. Walking though the isles, I began to wonder if the shop was going out of business.****UPDATE**: This store actually DID change management or something and it is now very well stocked, with helpful and courteous employees and a nice selection of liquor, chasers and mixers.

I always go to this liquor store. The staff is knowledgeable and kind, the prices are decent, and they have a very large variety of Vodka, Whiskey, and Rum.

I recently moved to this area and I have visited this liquor store twice and each time the employee is rude it’s a female. When I walk in she never greets me and when I went to check out I have to force her to speak to me then. Now I rather travel further for liquor then to come here. I will never go to them again!

I love the Saginaw store! Chris is extremely helpful as is Phillip and Josh! They always have what I am looking for! This is the store for me!

Decent prices, nice staff, good selection.

You pay a little more than you would at a big liquor store but you cant beat the convenience of this location. Wine selection is limited. Be sure to check the expiration date on any beer that is not local. The staff is really cool and very helpful if you need to find something specific.

Great selection friendly staff, competitive prices, fantastic place!

The best local liquor store by far. Clean, well lit, and the staff are the most friendly people probably in all of Arlington. Of course they cant beat some Total Wine prices.. but its a lot closer, and its not that much more expensive. I roll my eyes when people tell me to save $2 to go suffer the highlands.

Nice Store - I needed a last minute item and on my way home - totally forgetting to stop at one of the big store. Fossil Creek was right on my way - found what I needed quickly and pricing was well in-line with any of the Big Store. A big added was my stop was on Tuesday - Tuesday is SR day so I was given a 10% discount and didnt even have to ask (and I didnt know about their Tuesday either)

Came here around Valentines Day amongst other birthdays & celebrations... In love with their Mango Vodka! We got a crap load of alcohol! Officially my new favorite place for liquor! Everytime Ive been theyve been nothing but nice & a woman who was working there even asked if we needed help & we got everything we were looking for. I have never had an issue here!

Very helpful. Had a very difficult time locating a specific wine and Kristin located it for me and let me know when it was there and it only took a couple of days. Very competitive price as well.

Every Friday is free liquor day.To be more accurate, Fossil Creek Liquor usually has a vendor that offers a free sample of their product. Sometimes its good,sometimes its ok, but hey... its always free liquor!

Not sure what was going on but most of the shelves were half empty. Very limited selection. Another customer asked them if they were closing. Staff said no but looked like they were.

If you’ve made a transaction here between Thursday 11/14/2019 - Present, check your bank apps and credit card apps. Someone there is a thief and put a skimmer in the credit card machine. My Dad’s card got skimmed for $2K. We know because the other places we used the chip and here, we swiped it. We will not be return customers anymore because apparently, you hire and encourage thievery.

Great service, knowledgeable employees and very attentive. Not too long ago the store was undergoing owner transfer which seemed to take forever but finally the place looks back to health!

Me and a group of friends met up to eat at the subway next to this establishment and head out to Texas motor speedway to watch some of our local races. Well before we could even go in to eat we were surrounded by our local law enforcement officers they explained that the staff had called them because we apparently were drag racing in the parking lot which was far from the truth. My wife went in to try to explain to them that we were there on the soul purpose of eating and just meeting up, and the staff was extremely rude to her, I believe in no harm no foul we werent disturbing anyone and we werent even parked in front of their store, I cant speak for there productbut there staff in my opinion are some of the rudest and most meddling people I have ever come in contact with and for that reason. We never be spending any of our hard earned dollars at this store.

They might have what you want but not at the price you want. They might be the the closest off the freeway, but they will ask for $5-10 on top for it.I would just drive 2 miles north to the Liquor Depot if I was looking for something. Much better prices there

If not for a helpful lady from west Texas area helping with wine questions, I would leave a 1 star review. Went in more than a few times and everything from greetings, which were non-existent to help than pay out was not pleasant. I honestly felt like I was treated as they probasbly treat guys off the streets tbh. Never going back. I go to Nancys(rougher parts) where they atleast respect your business from beginning to end.

They had a bottle labeled “Sale” for “$51.99” the same bottle at Total Wine for regular price is “37.99”. That’s shady.

Staff is very friendly. The place is always clean and its easy to find what Im looking for.
