I absolutely love this location. I have been bringing my vehicle and my husbands vehicle here for years. They are honest and helpful and the prices are fair. A few years ago I had issue with my car and brought it here for a repair and the guy helping me (who could have fixed my problem and made money off me) recommended I check my dealership warranty first before paying to have it fixed and he said that my issue might be covered. Sure enough it was and it saved me money. That was when this place won my business and I have been going to them ever since!!!

I regularly get my oil changed and car serviced here at this location and the relationship I have formed with the company and its employees is a blessing. They go above and beyond to make sure my car is taken care of. They have great prices and great customer service! I highly recommend this place!

Very disappointed and one of the main reasons I do not like repair shops... I researched the part they said was $225...its only $48 and the wanted to charge me $240 for 3 hours of work and it only takes 15 minutes to change. People do your research first. Just lost a customer

I DO NOT recommend this place. I was in a pinch, so I came here for brake repair, even though they can be overpriced ($320 for rear brake parts??? Seriously?!?!?). I was given a quote for front and rear brakes and approved it. Then after the work was done, was told the price was just for the rear brakes. When I questioned the guy who gave the quote, he denied everything. It was a pretty smooth bait & switch. I questioned the manager about it and she got an attitude with me. I asked to speak to someone else and she says Well, Im the owners daughter, so Im it. Even if a mistake or a miscommunication was made, the right attitude would have gone a long way.

Took my truck there to have them put on a pair of Bilstein struts. Spoke with Colton who took the project on without any issue and was easy to deal with. Looks and drives great now, Im very pleased with their service. Fantastic work.

I love this place! They are always on time and always so nice and professional even prices are amazing. Most of the time the warranty is for life too every time I get my car back it’s like a new car.

I got my brakes repaired several months ago and the rotors were not turned which caused my car to shake every time I made a stop. I spoke with the manager about it and instead of turning the rotors he said he would have to charge me $150 for each rotor and pads. I had the car checked out and my brake pads were fine. Nothing was wrong with my pads. So instead of offering a better solution or deal he became frustrated with me after I said that I wouldnt be doing any business with them after that day. I have been going to the same place for several years and this was the first time that I had an issue. However he didnt like what I said and refused to do my oil changed and I happily obliged. I dont want anyone unprofessional working on my car. Since they have changed management I have noticed the unprofessionalism. I was able to go to OReilly to get what I needed to get my rotors turned for FREE!! Please watch out for these people they will rip you off!

I went in today for an inspection for my vehicle. I drove up and a nice dude drove it in all the way for me and all I had to do was wait in the lobby for my inspection to be done. They accept digital insurance cards luckily because the one I had in my car was expired. They got it done in about 10 minutes and charged about $26. Paid quickly and got out of there. As a bonus, one of the people inspecting my car noticed that my tires were low on air and aired them back up for me. All in all, probably will go back next year not only because theres a Kroger across the street that can do the rest of the inspection process for you, but because of how nice and accommodating the workers are.

I visited several auto shops for a walk-in state inspection and I was told to return the following day. Luckily, I arrived at SpeeDee within 10 minutes of closing time and they gladly helped me out. They quickly got me taken care of with outstanding customer service. I returned for an oil change and the experience was just as great.

When I got there no one was wearing masks. When I asked when to wear masks before interacting with me or my car and they rolled their eyes. One girl ended up putting on a mask but no one else did. I even asked nicely. They were really helpful in discovering and alerting me to a few problems under the hood. However they tried to charge me and arm and a leg to fix them; basically had me convinced my car was going to fall apart if I even tried to drive it home. Got a second opinion and a quote half the price they gave me. Cheap place for a conventional oil change but it’s going to be over priced for any other repairs. The second I paid for my oil change the employee took off her mask while me and two other customers were still in the office. Wouldn’t recommend.

Colton and staff have been amazing at ensuring my vehicle is always up to date.I always get top service in all my vehicles that I bring to them.Always friendly and great at explaining what needs to be done for my cars.With the current safety protocols put in place at most places to wear masks they ensure all guidelines are being met at all times.

Have had my truck, SUV and today one of our motor homes for an oil change. Wonderful knowledgeable staff. Took the time to do a complete check will be bringing back my personal and fleet vehicles back here.

I had a coupon online and the first guy I spoke to - I showed him the coupon and told him that I wanted that type of oil change. I was given a small form to fill out and a woman came out and told me something completely different after I told her I wanted whatever the coupon stated. I ended up paying double of what I intended and the woman upfront swindled me. I wont be going back there.

I have been a loyal customer for over 17 years. Everyone there is friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly to me, honest. I have never felt that they are trying to sell me on things that I not even need. Case in point....my car broke down on my way to work and after having it towed to their shop on Cooper I was told I would probably need a new transmission by initial exam. They found a good rebuilt transmission with a warranty still available and kept me abreast of what was going on. The next morning, I got a call that as they were taking out the old transmission, they found the real issue that was creating the transmission problems and was able to fix my car for $300 instead of almost $3000. I would have never known the difference but their integrity was to do the right thing. This is how I have always been treated since my first visit all those years ago, with respect and honesty. Making and keeping clients happy so they want to come back and know they will be well taken care of. I cant say enough of how much I appreciate the entire crew!!! Thank you always!!

Theres a recent review (yelp) saying these people are rude and speak in a condescending manner. Well, I can verify this and believe me, it trickles down from the owner of this franchise.I am a longtime customer of the Cedar Hill store where I get great customer service with George and his crew. I also got great customer service at a Dallas location as well.The Arlington store not so much. George referred me to them because they do more repairs than just the oil change. I was planning to get my front end shocks replaced on my personal vehicle soon and Colton gave me a great price.Well, I also run a 501c3 organization that helps men coming out of prison get back on their feet. forgivenfelons.orgWe found out about a need for a family on a minivan for brake repair. I called and asked Colton if they honored our tax exempt status, and if so then Id like to proceed with sending the family to them. I also added I can email our certificate or bring it by. He said no problem. Then quoted me a price. I spoke with our board and got approved for the $1600 repair. Then, the owners daughter called to run our card and she said the total was over $1800. I asked if she added tax and she said yes.Then I told her we were tax exempt and that I would provide the certificate. She said they dont wave the tax. I reminded her of what her employee said at the beginning of our sale. She said shed talk to her dad, the owner of franchise, and call me back. She called back saying they dont wave the tax and that I could file a form to get our tax back. I told her I have everything I need from the state of Texas to be tax exempt. She said there was nothing she could do about it. I asked her to have the owner to call me.He didnt call me back so I called again and finally got him. He said he couldnt believe I was in ministry because I was making such a big deal about and insignificant amount of money. I asked him why hes not honoring tax exempt status? He said they dont do that and that I could file to get it back. I offered a solution of discounting the total price of the repair (since it was his employee who made the mistake of telling me they did) and just pay taxes on the smaller amount. Somehow he thought that was cheating the government. He let me know that he and his accountant were way smarter than me. I told him we wouldnt have used him if we knew we had to pay the tax, we wouldve gone somewhere else. To a company who, by law, honors tax exempt status.I reassured him waving tax for 501c3s is legal and easy to do. He said, Look!, Im done talking with you. Ill check with my accountant and call you back if I feel like it. I sent him a text saying that is not necessary. Then I came to yelp to write a review. And I see numerous reviews that arent positive.It makes me appreciate George at the Cedar Hill location so much more now. But I think Ill take my truck, wifes car, moms car, and sisters car, to another location now so Im not lining the pockets of Richard, the owner of this franchise. He needs more training on tax exempt status as well as for his employees. As far as the repair goes, well see as I get feedback from the family we did it for.

The employees @SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto are always very friendly and very knowledgeable! They are professional and will answer any questions you may have! I went in for an oil change and a few minutes later the technician said I could wait a little longer for that service and wasn’t charged anything WOW! During previous visits for an oil change if I needed any filters or new windshield wipers they always asked me first before they did anything! I had my car inspected there and after I passed inspection went to Kroger, bought my new sticker and they removed the old sticker for me and placed the new one on! The waiting area is always clean and well kept as well as the restroom! I’ve been going there for years and the professionalism and customer service is always top notch!!

Have been using their services for years. Today I stopped by because I had water leaking inside car from behind dashboard. Clayton, one of the technicians, came out took a look into the issue and quickly resolved the problem. It was the AC drip tube that was clogged which caused it to overflow into the car. I had an honestly quite pleasant experience here. I didnt have an appointment, but I was seen almost immediately. Everyone was polite, offering me complementary beverages as I waited for my oil change. Chris, the service manager, was great. He thoroughly inspected my car and explained in detail some of its issues as well as demonstrating some of them to me so that I could understand. Not only were the prices for services fairly transparent, but they were also reasonable. Despite already coming with a coupon, he offered me a greater discount. I will definitely be coming back to this location. Great staff and service!

I first off wanna say that speeDee oil change & Auto service they provided me with great service the day that I needed a filter change for my car and they were excellent they explained what it was that i needed to have changed and they installed that part for me thank you very much especially Colton who took his time to explain to me what the part is for if I could give him a and his crew 10 star rating I would but he and his whole crew they deserve more then that I would suggest some they deserve some type of recognition way to go.

The employees were very helpful. I had an issue with my car later after the oil change and I called up and the manager was very nice and told me he’d check on it for me. It ended up being nothing but Colton, the manager, and Jeremy were great. I don’t feel like I’m being taken advantage of which sometimes is an issue when you’re a woman.

They want to charge the same price as a conventional oil change if you bring your own oil and filter. Management is more concerned about their daily percentages than making money.

4/4/2020. Watch out for their hidden fees that don’t match prices on their signs. I pulled up and sign said full synthetic was $78, verbally said would take $10 off that so $68. I told them I prefer and normally use Mobil one oil. They said ok. When I got done the bill was $99. Had to remind them of the $10 off deal, so now it’s $89. I asked why $89 and not $68 plus tax? Wouldn’t listen and just kept saying $89. Finally said because mobil one was more $$. Why wasn’t I told that originally???

The staff here is awesome. I’ve been here on two occasions and Colton always takes care of me. He is great at explaining everything and in detail. As a woman who does not understand much about cars I never feel like I am getting overcharged on anything the staff here is amazing.

Not only did they fix a repair I paid $300 to have fixed else where (obviously Midas didnt actually know what the heck they were doing but they sure took my money!) but they also provided fantastic service and very quickly and efficiently fixed the other issues with my car. I have been to way too many car repair shops and this one by far is the best. I recommend to anyone on a budget that needs options as well as realistic pricing and knowledgeable people who actually seem to care about the quality of their work. Keep it up!

Warning! Do not go to get your car serviced here.The prices are a complete rip-off. I got my car serviced here and walked out with a $600 bill. I was then told by family and friends that I was over charged. I got an estimate from a few mechanics and was told the cost would only be $250. Dont believe the signs for best franchise. The business doesnt deserve those awards for the way customers are ripped off. Called in to complain and was only offered a measly $74 refund and was asked not to write a review or to post a good one. I refused!Warning! Do not get your car serviced here!

I have always had a good experience with these guys. There fast and they check all the fluids and top them off if need be they even vacuum out your vehicle for you. I recieve coupons by email frequently for discounts on oil changes and other services. Most importantly i have never had a problem with any of their work or have them suprise me with an unexpected price increase. Thanks guys!

Im a regular customer. Get your oil changed here and they will let you know what maintenance needs to be done on the car. Less expensive than the dealership. They also have my cars maintenance history. I expect my car to last longer than 10 years. My car is 8 yrs old now.

This location will quickly turn from an “oil change place” to somewhere you go for all your car needs. Chris is the manager and as far as I can tell, he runs an excellent store. Why is this important? Chris treats everyone that enters the front doors exactly the same. My wife can now feel comfortable taking her car somewhere if she has questions or concerns. He even took the time to show her a few things that she didn’t know about her car, like what to look for as her car gets older. The techs in the garage will treat you the same way. Do yourself a favor and go see Chris next time you need something done.

Just a bad experience. There were two people inside the office that stared at their phones while I stood at the counter. No greeting, no acknowledgement so I calmly left. As soon as I walk out, they follow me to the bay where I’m getting my car and start questioning me like I’ve done something wrong. It was strange and very uncomfortable.

If your vehicle takes more than 5 quarts of oil they will charge you $10 per additional quart.

I have used this location many times and am a VERY satisfied customer! I HIGHLY recommend this establishment. They are fast and VERY courteous, something that is seriously lacking in many businesses today.

Great crew that works here. My dad has been going here for years and the first place he said go was Speedee Oil. He wasn’t wrong. They’re quick and their customer service is outstanding! Going on 5+ plus years now and I will continue to give them my service.

These guys are quick and they never try to upsale you. They only tell you about things to he aware of and things that need repair. If everything looks good, they only change your oil and send you on your way. For that reason, I take all of my vehicle here.

I have come to Spee-dee for multiple years now, and have continued to return because of the great experiences I have. First, they are extremely prompt on getting my car taken care of. Second, they have created the atmosphere of a trusting auto shop. Many auto shops have that feeling that you are being taken advantage of, but not here. This is the only place I recommend family and friends to come to.

The only place I trust to bring my truck to. Everyone in the shop is very nice & honest. Have been to other places & have not received the same level of service...never again.Great job guys!!!!!!
