Had a inspection done after getting tags from the DMV they were quick!

I stopped in for a state inspection on a Friday afternoon pretty close to close and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was so nice and I was in and out within 10 minutes. They even offered to turn my car around for me since it’s a little tricky to back out of the garage. I’m very impressed with their professionalism, especially since I’m a very young looking female. They even offered to fix some other part of my car unrelated to the inspection and gave me an estimate on the spot. I will be coming back!

I scraped my brand new car and broke the drivers side mirror coming out of a parking spot in my garage on a pillar. When I tell you that you would not know the difference at all. They did a great job and the price is phenomenal since I did out of pocket versus insurance. Thanks Baider for a great job.

I have never been here before but I needed a safety and emissions inspections today. I found this place online and went in.I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with how quick, efficient and professional this young man was. The place is very clean and he wore a mask. I felt comfortable going there during Covid-19. If the mechanics are like this inspector I will be returning for future repairs, my Friend who was with me was very impressed also !!!!!

I had my car inspection and tires/brakes done in a timely manner. I thought I was needing to get quite a few things done on my car, but they were honest and did not upcharge me for anything I didnt need fixing. They told me straight up that one of the tires will pass, but recommend replacing (they even pulled me in the garage and showed me). The whole process took a couple hours on a Sunday and the owner even stayed after closing to make sure I got my car back the same day. I recommend you at least check the place out!Thanks again,

I went in today for oil change and inspection on my Mazda Miata. They completed both in maybe 30 minutes at the most. Large waiting area, and they were friendly and efficient. I will definitely go back.

Unfortunately, I drove over a nail which flatten the passenger side back tire. It happen right in front of Arlington Auto Repair. I inquired if they could help out a Damsel in Distress . They were willing and were very helpful. Fixed my tire in a matter of minutes. This place is the best!

Very bad place and unprofessional mechanics . I went there today for inspection.They even do not know what they are doing about your car and They try to Scam your mony by any means they can and take your mony like that.Do not wast your time and mony at this place.very very bad place for your vehicle.

When I called they were closing but the guy on the phone decide to wait for me. They check on my emission in no time, great quality, very quick and friendly.

I was in and out for an inspection in about 30-45 mins (including wait time). Excellent customer service and the receptionist was honest about the wait.

Great inspection services, very quick and easy. Note parking is a little tough, as is navigating in and out of their space. Mask policy is a little lax, but i just stood outside.

Service is good but no one seem to care for the safety of customers. No one wears a mask and that made me uneasy.

Had a great experience with these guys after getting a safety inspection with a few issues popping up. They put a quote together I could take and compare at my usual shop. They gave me such a great deal that I came back to have them do the repairs. Very accommodating and made the repair process as painless as possible.

Moved down from NYC to VA and came here to get my car inspected. Troy helped me right away. Got the inspection done in a timely manner and had a few jokes too! Overall a good experience.

Not a fan of this place at all. I had my S-Class towed here for brakes and tires. I hadnt physically seen the place until I got there to pick the vehicle up. I have no issues with the brake and tire job they performed but I dont like the close quarters that they store the vehicles in. I could barely open my car door because they were so close together and one of the mechanics had to guide me in order to back out because the space was so narrow. When I got the vehicle home I noticed it was leaning to the drivers side so I had it towed to Mercedes. They told me the air suspension had been damaged and the car is now undrivable until I pay $2800 to fix it. I emailed Arlington Auto Repair about this and they never responded. I had never had any issues with my suspension until I took the car here.

Best place, best service,and great prices. Jimmy was professional and extremely helpful with getting my car taken care of. They are a little slow, but again, I showed up with no appointment and a car full of issues. Jim took care of everything and gave us a fantastic price. I am extremely happy with the work that was done and of course their price. Thank you!!

Walked in for an inspection knowing I had some repairs that needed to be done. Mechanics and inspector were honest and bent over backwards to make sure I left with everything I needed and that I was taken care of. All repairs are finished and they were very reasonable and accommodating! Thank you so much! Customer service at its best!

Great people, not trying to steal you money. They gave me better deal than the last two mechanic. Plus, they even when to pick up for my part, when the place didnt have the delivery person. Great service if it was another place they will say out come back tomorrow but no they try to do the job. Great deal.

I have met the owner and heard his business strategy. His goal is to provide a good honest service for a fair price. If you are not satisfied you should ask to speak to the owner, and he will genuinely listen to you. He is trying to build a business based on honesty which is tough to find nowadays. I started going there for his less expensive oil changes and then started getting major repairs done. Everythime I felt I was treated well.

Went for state safety inspection, which was perfectly fine. However no one wore a mask, not the tech who did the inspection or the person in the office that I paid.

Ordered a part for my vehicle with a $100 deposit and figured it would take a few days to get to the shop, so since I had an extremely busy week at my business I did not bring my car back for a little over a week figuring they would call me if there was an issue. I came back that morning to drop off my car before work and the receptionist tells me I never came the next day so they returned the part I ordered. I asked them if they called me to let me know it had arrived and they were going to return it and she said yes but we don’t leave voicemails a lot of the time... so how am I supposed to know you ever called?? I don’t answer random calls. Bottom line is they had no reason not to let me know and therefore I had to come out of my way for nothing and still don’t have my car fixed to pass my emissions test. The receptionist offered no reconciliation and basically made it seem like it was my mistake. Overall would not trust this mechanic because their management and front operations are very unorganized and not customer service oriented. I won’t be coming back that’s for sure.

Absolutely amazing place. I’ve been here twice, once for an oil change, and another time for a tie rod replacement. They are the best mechanics I have ever met and cannot thank them enough for their work. Will definitely be back if I need some other work done and will be recommending to everyone I know.

Would have given it a 5 star but had a problem with one of the mechanics. He was trying to tell me they close at 5 but it clearly says that they close at 530. After a little banter back and fourth another mechanic agreed to do it thank god. The place looks good. Everyone else had a good attitude but the black guy not to be racist. The spanish mechanics seemed cool. Will come here again.

Mr. Troy is a excellent boss!!!! He saw I was there around 8 something in the morning and actually talks too the customers and give excellent conversation!!!!! Explained that there was some cars ahead! But it was excellent service!!!! He shows care and compassion!!!! I am coming back here for the next time!!!! ✨✨✨✨

It was my big mistake going there. They are very dishonest and delusional. When they checked my car he said it needs a parts that need to be ordered. so he ordered it and took $90 from me in advance. after waiting more than week parts arrived. so i dropped of my car in the very early morning. at 1pm i made call if car ready for pick up, he says two more hour. then after 3 more hour i went there and being informed by someone else that they didnt fix it. they even didnt put the parts in. they tried to fix it without replacing the new parts so that they can keep $800 bucks for themselves. so i got very disappointed b/c my two whole day being wasted and their big guy jimmy stolen $90 bucks from me without doing any work for the parts which i paid in advance. Dont go to this dishonest and delusional place to waste your time and money .

These people run an honest Virginia safety and emissions inspections.Unfortunately, they do not know how to fix steering and suspension problems. They incorrectly installed a rack and pinion in my car that I had to replace less than six weeks later. The rack & pinion installed by Arlington Auto Repair was bent because they installed it incorrectly and there was no way to fix it other than to install a new rack and pinion.I am very disappointed in their repair work and will think twice before I let them do work on my car again.

Extremely fast state inspection and emissions test!

I took my car in for the state inspection, which it (not unexpectedly) failed with flying colors. In addition to being super friendly and accommodating, Jimmy was able to fix it quickly and for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Overall terrible experience. Unfriendly staff and I was told that the service was going to take 20 minutes and then ended up taking close to an hour. There was no sense of urgency even though I said I had a short window of time and they confirmed that it could be done within my time constraints. With all the other options that are in the area for car maintenance and service, I would recommend taking your business and money elsewhere.

I was going there regularly I have couple of cars I was taking there to change oil and brakes. However the last visit of mine was very disappointing. First, the guy who I see always was not there, I tried to talked with person at front desk but he was just not giving an attention to me. However I knew what had to do so I filled up the papers and told him to change two of my cars oil and rotate the tires. He said ok then took the payment. By the way because I go there a lot I knew the price 55 for synthetic oil change but he charged me 58 for that and 25 for the regular oil change but he charged me 27 for that too. I was ok if the price was changed but the guy who is there told me there is not price change since I started here I have been working here for six months but the price is always same. I was like you mean I am lying, like I do not come here all the time. However the tire rotation was charged but he did not do it because he was so busy but tire rotation should not be taking so much time because you are already lifting the car and it is going to be 10 min extra since you lift the car. The charge was refund but I decided to not bring my other two cars after I had these issues. First they do not appriciate the regulars and they meant I was lying because of the 3 dollars difference. I am not going to take my cars there anymore. I have never felt that much annoyed in there. Very bad costumer service and the new mechanic over there is so rude.

500 hundred dollar to replace mi front brakes because they told me they will have some problems to pull out the rotors if my car, I did the job at home in 20 min mi self

I started to come for this place like a year ago since oil change was 19.99, I come today I met new guy wearing glasses I think he is an assistant for the old guy he is just disrespectful for the customer I wrote this review and Im leaving before doing my services and Ill not come back again .

I was told a full estimate would be $95. This cost would be only if they had to remove parts and spend time putting it back together. Otherwise, the price would be reduced. Instead of a full report of what it would cost to fix my car, all they did was put it in the lift and tell me it wasnt worth fixing and still charge me $95.

The service is good and very reliable

They charged me more than they said. They told me that changing a part is going to cost $25 or maybe $30 but they asked me for $125 and when I asked why then they said No problem just give $50 and then I paid $53 which was still not fair because I was told that they are changing it with $25. I am really not suggesting anyone to go to this place. Bad behavior.

Had my emissions test done here. Had to wait 90min. When I came back I asked about how it went, I was told the results were in the car. Thanks.
