Dr. Steve spent extra time and care during my examination, paying attention to all minor details. His associate was kindhearted and helped me choose the best fitting frames. I took my mother to get glasses as well and she was delighted with the results. Overall, Pearle Vision provides a wonderful service. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and myself came in for an exam. We love Dr Steve for the excellent vision assessment. I don’t always get a perfect correction due to my high astigmatism and nearsighted issues but Dr Steve did a perfect job! Added to that, I was shown glasses that were extremely lightweight and not the heavy coke bottle type I’ve always had to buy thanks to Doug. I’m impressed with the accuracy and the friendly service. I highly recommend Dr Steve and Doug who directed me the best glasses ever! We live out of state but travel here every year for our exams. Thank you!!

Dr. Steve Pelitsky was a great optometrist. I felt cared for and that he was interested in providing the best eye exam possible. This was my first annual eye exam under Dr. Steve Pelitsky and it was definitely the best one I have ever had. He was very thorough throughout the entire exam making sure to explain what he was looking for and why it mattered. He was also very pleasant to be around and great to chat with. I would highly recommend him!

Super easy to make an appointment. I wasnt sure if I had vision insurance and the very nice man in front helped me out no problem. Very pleased with the eye exam itself! Apparently I have a more uncommon case and the doctor took his time to actually explain my issue to me. Ive been to a few different places years ago and nothing was ever explained and I wasnt ever pleased with my glasses. This time is different! I have absolutely no complaints about my glasses and very happy with the entire experience!!

They tried to overcharge me for a pair of glasses. When I showed them explanation of benefits from the insurance company confirming how much I was overcharged, the guy got enraged and started yelling at me. Terrible service! Do not come to this place.To Owners reply below: You know what you are saying is not true. I pre-payed $32.95 when I ordered the glasses. And you still told me to pay more when I came to pick it up. With regard to my wife, she didnt even order any glasses, and you still filed an insurance claim for something you didnt even do. Then you pretended to be ignorant when we asked you about it. Only after we reported to the insurance company did you withdraw that claim. You were totally rude the entire time and started screaming once you got caught.

My parents recommended this place because of their own experience. The staff is all very helpful, kind and professional. The doctor answered all of my questions and even recommended some things. Overall had a wonderful experience! They have a huge selection of frames, and the office itself is very well kept. If you’re looking for an eye doctor, I highly suggest going here.

I had not been to this particular Pearle Vision location before, and now I’ll not be going anywhere else! My unique needs for the proper eyeglass frame and shape of lens were wonderfully addressed by my technician, Devyn, especially when an adjustment was required later. If you’re looking for absolutely excellent service, this is the place to go!

Great place to get glasses! My husband first discovered this store and was so pleased with service, selection and prices that he recommended it to me. Doug is terrific, very knowledgeable and kind of a perfectionist with fit. Lindsey and the doctor are great, too. They remember our names, great us warmly and even when they are busy, are pleasant. The store is clean and fresh smelling, too (thats important to me).

Dr Steve is AMAZING! He takes the time to listen and makes you feel so comfortable. He took all the time I needed. Getting a fitting for new contacts was a breeze! The staff is amazing too. I called to make an appointment for new contacts and spoke to Doug who got me an appointment pretty quickly, considering these trying times. When I went in for the appointment, I remembered Doug and Devyn from a previous visit, both greeted me warmly. After having my contacts for about 10 days, I needed a follow up, Devyn scheduled the appointment and couldnt have been nicer. I HIGHLY recommend this location. I have recommended them to friends.

This just a top-notch eyecare center. They gave me the most thorough exam for the first time with them and explained everything. Dr. S. Pelitsky gave me personal and expert attention. I have gone here twice now for glasses. Everyone there was so nice. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. He even remembered me from my previous visit years before. Was able to pick out glasses with tons of help. Got them fitted and had them in my hand within the week. Honestly, I travel in from the city just to go to this location. I would recommend to any and everyone.

The doctor and front desk person were really nice and personable. They made me feel at ease with all that is going on with covid, though I thought the glasses were a tad bit on the pricey side.

The staff is very attentive and greets every single customer. While they were taking care of me at the counter, three people came in. The staff knew immediately that this person was here for a 6:15 appt and Dr. will be right out, next person is picking up a repaired set of glasses, and I forgot the third person (but the staff knew what they needed, I remember that).Ive been coming for a few years for glasses and contacts, Dr. P remembers about my prescription, how I have trouble putting in contacts (he calmly reminds me to take my time :-) )

Took the hubs to this location for his prescription glasses. We were greeted right away by Jennifer, the optician. She patiently helped him pick a frame that would match the shape of his face and that would work well with progressive lenses. She was very attentive and very knowledgeable and made the best recommendations on what quality and type of bells and whistles or not should we go with. We went here at noon on 1/31 for my childs first pair of glasses. The woman working was very rude and brusk to us as we walked in. My child was so nervous and this was her first experience. After browsing for a couple minutes (with no help), we ended up leaving and going somewhere else where we had an amazing experience. That being said, the interior was clean.

The staff and Dr. Pelitsky are great. They worked with my insurance that they did not originally accept to make it work and keep me as a patient. The exam was easy and suggested lenses were a great fit. It was a very positive experience!

I absolutely love this office! All the people are extremely flexible and friendly. They go out of their way to help you. They always give me samples of contacts and solutions because they know it can be pricey. I showed up to an appointment a week early on accident and they made it work since I was already at the office- now that’s great service!! The doctors are also both very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve been going to this office for a few years now and they always remember my name. They really make you feel welcome!

Ive been coming here for my eye exams/glasses/gas permeable contacts for probably a decade, and already have written them a 5-star review on Yelp, but needed to add an EXTRA compliment for recent above-and-beyond service.The thing that keeps me coming back AND recommending this Pearle location to everyone I know, is the Amazing Customer Service on EVERY level.I have horrible vision and significant differences between my eyes, and Dr. Steve is wonderful and has gone above and beyond in getting me fitted with and COMFORTABLE with the transition from a very strong Rx to a very strong Bifocal Rx.But in addition, I LOVE that I can ALWAYS just walk in at any time (during regular business hours!) and they will fix my bent or broken frames with no questions, no charge, and best of all, no judgment (youd think EVERYONE steps on their glasses while searching for their glasses!) ;) Theyve been doing this for me for as long as I can remember (fixing/adjusting my frames on the spot without even checking to make sure I bought them there).But the purpose of this review, is to express gratitude to Doug, who was able to repair my glasses this week by getting the lens back in the frame AND adjusting the bent frame perfectly on the first try, so that they fit even better than they did before I broke them! I was afraid the damage was irreparable and had been resigned to getting a new pair of frames. However, not only did I NOT have to get new frames, but he fixed these in probably less than 5 minutes. And (apologies for stating the obvious) with bifocals, its extremely important that everything be aligned Perfectly; they are not as forgiving of slightly bent frames or lenses that are not completely inside said frames (so I learned from my personal attempts to fix them, as I was on vacation when they were accidentally broken). Doug obviously has a gift for working with these ridiculously tiny parts and this is also not the first time he has adjusted my glasses for various reasons and every single time its done RIGHT/PERFECTLY the FIRST TIME, and thats worth 5 stars in itself. So, consider this a 10 star review. 5/5 for this Pearle Location overall, and 5/5 for Dougs ability to undo whatever damage I manage to cause to my frames.

Went to LensCrafters for my exam where they wanted to charge me over $400 for frames and lenses. Ended up at pearl vision. Im not one to write reviews or give 5 stars when I do, but I read some of the lower reviews prior to visiting which made me I was skeptical prior to visiting, but the service was great so its worth spreading. Both the Doctor and specialist were patient and helpful. I just picked up my glasses and the Dr. remembered me and explained some of the questions I had regarding the prescription. I was reassured by the specialist that if I didnt like my pair that I could do one-time return within 30 days for no cost (not sure if thats particular to the brand and insurance). Yes, they pushed the more expensive lenses, but not aggressively. Two thumbs up.

I went here to get new glasses with a prescription written at another office. After choosing a pair and having them made, I found that there was something wrong. Dr. Steve eye care specialist Doug found and corrected the problem and swiftly got me a new set of lenses. They took careful time with my eyes. Truly amazing service.

Never seen an employee less interested in welcoming customers and making them stay. Jennifer greeted us unpolitely, almost refused to check if our insurance was accepted and was hardly answering our questions. Extremely unprofessional and the center missed two new customers ready to pay for exams, frames, lences etc. They may be good but with such an attitude they are missing opportunities to show it.

I recently came in here to get new prescription and glasses. It was my first time at an eye doctor in about 4 years. I was helped by Dr. Pelitsky and Doug. Dr. Pelitsky is the kindest person on this planet. Doug is unbelievably helpful and kind as well. I got my glasses and a monocle for a specialized application and the prescription is perfect.

It is a terrible place to get your glasses. But heres the thing, we as consumers keep thinking that these places care about you and your health. They care about money. They see you as a sucker and theyre going to try to get the most money they can. Oh they have to do this test or that test. Its a shame, I know, but its about the money. Once youre hip to that. Its not a big deal. Go in get the basic eye exam, no frills. Contact exam if you must. Get your script. Go to walmart for the glasses and go online for the contacts. If you dont, do not act surprised when you see the bill.

I recently moved to the area from another state and selected the Pearl Vision at Rand Rd. to check my vision, and to order prescription glasses. My vision examination was done by Dr. Steve Pelitsky. He is a top notch professional who takes time to precisely determine your eyes needs. I learned from him a lot about human vision during this visit! I ordered three pairs of glasses, and all of them looked great and fit perfectly right away with no need for any adjustments. The glasses prescription was perfect as well. I was able to see in my new glasses much better comparing to the old ones. It seems that this place is operated by high level professionals who know very well what they are doing. I am glad I found this place. I would recommend Dr. Pelitsky and Pearl Vision at Rand Rd. as a whole to everybody. I look forward to use them for all my future glasses needs.
