Service is ok, but I asked for a copy of my prescription because I wanted to order new glasses today and did not have the paper coy with me and the receptionist told me that she can’t give it to me because the doctor is not in the office. The doctor literally gave me my prescription two months ago I just need a copy, I don’t see the problem. She just refused to give me my prescription, which was already finalized, I don’t understand the logic. Not going here again
After reading the recent reviews, I was very hesitant to go in but decided to give a try. After all, I couldnt find the frame that I wanted in other stores.I walked in around noon on Dec. 26, 2018, and no one acknowledged my presence. There were three employees, and two of them were occupied with their customers. The other employee was at the counter in the back organizing the files. At least one of them COULD HAVE SAID something like we will be with you shortly.I proceeded to look at the Mens frames and was happy to immediately find one that I really liked. I held it and patiently waited for my turn. Shortly after, one of the two customers completed their transaction and left. I thought I was going to be given an attention. Instead, he set at his desk, and the lady who was organizing the files in the back asked him for help. They both saw me waiting for my turn. In the end, I put the frame back on the shelf and left.In conclusion, the previous bad reviews were accurate. If you want a customer service, this is definitely not the place. I ended up going to another store, received a good customer-service, and spent more than $200.
Went in today looking for just new frames and Mr. Gordon helped me out with finding some for a good price was also very kind and patient. Definitely will be going back soon.
First let me say the doctor and staff are very nice and helpful!DO NOT BUY GLASSES HERE!!!!! They now use a new lab and they cannot get my glasses right. I bought 3 pair of glasses, more than double what I paid last time, and they cannot get them right. We are now on our third return to the lab to get them right. These are not strong prescriptions, I just need them to be able to read (near and far sighted).They have fewer frames to chose from, and limited size selections. All three of my glasses came back wrong. The progressives were either the wrong prescription or very narrow field of vision (ordered the wider field of view lenses). My single vision sunglasses were wrong as well.Run from all of these ForEyes and the labs they now use. They have no business making glasses, and I doubt they will continue to be in business much longer unless they make a change.
Rude customer service in the store and over the telephone. Doctor is nice but the staff needs a full training of what people skills are. Pathetic.
For Eyes optical is a tremendous place to do business with. I found everyone working there to be courteous and their was no pressure to buy frames. I was treated fairly and honestly. Dr.Borawski, herself, is an unusual optometrist. She took her time with me and explained everything she was doing. When I left I trusted everything she told me. My past experiences were quite different. I will recommend their services to my family and friends. Eye sight is so very important.
Been going here for years. Tried going elsewhere for glasses because I had a coupon. Total rip off. I’m back at For EYES to stay. Best customer service from Carolyn Duarte. She helped me find the best deal on contact lenses - and I didn’t even have to ask! Yes I bought a whole years worth but saved a TON.
I will never repeat never step foot in that place again I made a reservation and when I got there I was told it would be 2 hours later .. and then the employee told me very rudely they tried to call to change it . I took the morning off from work for my eye test . I really hope they will repay me for my time off .. I have told many people not to ever go there again..
Outstanding customer service. The manager ( mischa), was hands on in every area. She was handling the phones, customers and other tasks yet was right on top of everything. She made the whole experience a pleasure. I hope the company realizes what a asset she is.
Dr. Zorik is very nice and both the glasses and contacts that he proscribes for me have always been right on the spot. Service is nice. I would recommend this place.
Terrible experience, I am fuming!I have an autistic kid who is non-verbal, I called and asked if they can do an eye exam for his school. They said yes, so I made an appointment, came there to wait 35 min, fill out all the paperwork, just to get told they cant do it if he is not able to tell numbers! Are you kidding me??? I specifically asked if its possible and the person on the phone said YES! Their excuse was they have a new person who doesnt know stuff, blah-blah...Total disrespect of peoples time!
I went in with my dad and Dr. Borawski was great she even spoke Spanish and was extremely nice!
I work near this location. Today I got something in my eye at work, my eye refused to open and watered profusely even after using an eye wash station. Took an uber to For Eyes, but despite having what I would describe as a minor emergency they turned me away because they had booked regular check-ups. I ubered to the Schaumburg location, was seen immediately and even the optometrist at that location said emergencies are supposed to be prioritized and should have been handled differently. Not impressed at all with the customer service at the Arlington Heights location.
Poor insurance disclosure information and they dropped a planned appointment without notice. I showed up and they had no record of me having an appointment.
The receptionist at the eye doctor was extremely rude and unhelpful.
