Sabrina the technician is super courteous and offers great suggestions for frames. Dr Fostiak takes time to explain various aspect of the exam. I feel very well cared for whenever I have an exam with her. These 2 are kind and knowledgeable and truly understand what people need. THANK YOU!!

I didn’t have an opinion about Lens Crafters until I visited the Arlington Heights store to purchase prescription sunglasses. I worked with Emily throughout the process and she made the whole experience a delight. Dr. Karina is the very best. Every time I have seen her she has been attentive, caring, timely, and thorough. She made some changes in my contact lenses that helped stabilize steady changes in my prescription. She also found some other visual issues and referred me immediately to the right specialist. Have been going there for years and have always been treated with concern and kindness. Nancy Wojek is extremely knowledgeable and provides you with answers to all your questions. They also have the frames for you to try on and a person to fit you for your lens inserts.

I have had good experiences in the past and usually I just get whoever is there for the time that I can go. Last year I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Karina Nikogosian..this is the first time in a long time I made sure I am specifically with her following. She goes above and beyond for her patients. I get migraines and she saw possibilities of disc drusen (not sure if I’m spelling that right) and had a lot of information for me to talk to with my neurologist for further testing. She’s very knowledgeable and it’s not just the average eye exam for her. Also I love her energy and how happy she is the few times I have seen her! I will always be going back to her as long as I can!

I loved the friendly service. Especially Esha she was the associate that checked me in and also helped me find not one but two pair of glasses. The staff at The Arlington heights LensCrafters did a fantastic job for my exam today. Fatima, Victoria, and Dr. Wojcik did an excellent job helping guide me through the whole process of the eye exam. From the initial triage and work up, to my eye exam and checking my prescription, and finishing with helping me select frames. All the staff did a wonderful job helping me to understand what was going on during my eye exam and making sure everything was sanitized and safe. A very great all around experience!

My 4 year old son had gotten stuck with a branch in the eye after sledding and was crying uncontrollably and couldnt open his eye. When he finally did, it was both swollen and red. We called LensCrafters and they told us to bring him and they would take a look at him right away. Dr. Karina saw us immediately and was wonderful. Not only did she thoroughly check/test him to make sure it was only a cornea scratch, she also provided a course of action and the necessary medication to help. She did it all with patience and in a way that calmed down my son and engaged him. He was in better spirits a half hour later.My experience here was great and Dr. Karina provides fantastic patient care. Ive been here for my own glasses/contact needs in general and while this location has been great, my experience Sunday goes well beyond. Highly recommend.

For years Ive bounced around from eye doctors due to the priority of always wanting to sell me something that I dont need. Decided to get an exam for work and headed over to AH Lenscrafters. I just have to say that the staff is great. Now, on to Dr. Karina Nikogosian. She is full of energy and is a true people person. She pointed out several concerns of hers that many other doctors failed to inform me of and in addition to going through a very thorough exam she provided good methods of taking care of my eyes. During the entire appointment she made sure all of my questions were answered. VERY easy to speak to and just has such a great and positive energy. Based on how she handled things, she truly prides herself and is genuinely interested in helping people. I cannot say enough about how great Dr. Karina Nikogosian is. Anyone in the area of Arlington Heights and in need of a bada$$ doctor, make sure to ask specifically for Dr. Karina Nikogosian. You wont regret it.

After my visit, I can say my reason for going back will not be simply that its close to home, but because of how I was treated from start to finish. Dr. Karina was an utter delight, a great mix of professional and personable. Very direct and no nonsense in the best way possible. My husband came in for glasses and I went along for the trip to help pick out some frames! I recently formed a stye in my eyelid. When Dr. Karina took one look at me she immediately knew my eye needed help! After a easy $30 fee, Emily Yim performed my pretesting and made the process smooth and easy! I usually freak out with the pressure exam but she completed it quickly and painlessly! Dr. Karina performed a thorough eye exam and explained to me exactly what I have to do to make both of my eyes healthy and how to take care of my lids and prescribed me a topical antibiotic. I was incredibly impressed by the comprehensive exam and the time and care she took with me.I came back out after my exam and Emily Yim was helping my husband with glasses, all the measurements, and explained the different lense choices and helped him make a good decision for him! Truly an amazing team!!

Ive been going to Lenscrafters for years. Dr Wojik is the nicest and most professional doctor I have. Always been treated good and fairly.

I had an exam with Dr. Karina yesterday and she was wonderful! I told the staff that I would not order new glasses there immediately because I wanted to see what I could find that would be less expensive somewhere else. Thats when they showed me the wall in the back corner where you can get glasses for $99, and progressives for $200. There was one style in that area that I liked, but wanted to think about it. Today I returned to look at all my options, and a different clerk did not mention the back wall at all! When I said I wanted to see some rimless glasses, they only showed me the very expensive Ray Bans, and when I said that there was one on the wall the clerk said no there arent. So when I pointed them out to her and was looking at more in the back corner wall, she decided to stock the shelves right next to me. What happened to the six feet rule? She was less than two feet away from me. So I told her that I needed to go to another mirror because she was too close. I did not feel comfortable at all, so I left. I will go somewhere else to get the glasses made.

I am writing to recommend this location for contacts. Dr Karina was so great and responsive about my questions with lenses. I had to change after the first trial, and they were so very helpful. Timing was great, communication was thorough and they were helpful in running insurance questions so I had the best payment options.

I visited the store in Jan-17 and it was the worst experience I ever had. I have been a customer of Lenscrafters for ever since I remember and was really happy with the customer care. However the experience was very different this time. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and ill mannered. She was loud and obnoxious. It felt as if she was judging me by her parameters about who is entitled to customer service.

Took 30 min for associate to order glasses and once it arrived in 2 weeks it was wrong lenses for glasses, and when I brought up to their attention -they only ordered correct lenses for glasses not full thing with frame. They promised once it will arrive I will get them next day, I received text message it was ready and week later still did not received them. Called the place and they saying it will take another day. Horrible customer service.

Arlington Heights LensCrafters has always provided outstanding service. Dr. Wojcik is a valuable and very professional and competent addition to the Lens Crafters team and Leonid, who provided service to me today, was outstanding. I recently had eye surgery (both eyes) and Dr. Wojcik (on the phone) and Leonid, who provided service, have made me feel comfortable and confident that my new glasses will serve me well.

My optometrist, Dr. Nikogosian was so helpful and really went in depth with the medical explanations- great experience.

Dr karina is fabulous. I came in for a same-day appt b/c I was having a problem with my vision. She took care of me and was very accommodating, she even offered to stay late if I needed it. She was so great I came back for my regular eye exam a week later. Typically when I get eye exams, doctors like to add astigmatisms and change my prescription without telling me and it causes lots of problems and inconveniences down the line- dr karina didn’t do any of this and actually took what I asked into account. We are actually out-of-network w/ LensCrafters but b/c dr karina was so great I will continue coming here and bring my family as well. I highly recommend her. The staff who work in the front are also very nice and helpful.

I was very impressed with this location! During my visit, Dr. Karina Nikogosian listened thoroughly to my needs, I was looking for glasses and contacts. I am picky when it comes to contacts but she understood what I wanted and recommended a great brand. She is efficient and friendly. (She works at both locations)On a Side note- I felt very welcoming and safe! She wiped twice all the machines to make sure it’s extra safe to have my face in those machines. I went a few weeks ago for a contact exam and had an amazing experience. First of, I called the same day since I was desperate for new contacts. I’m in the medical field and this last year as we all know has been insane for all of us. Who answered the phone really embraced me and got me in the same day. They were busy but very well organized I didn’t wait at all! The best part was the exam dr karina was soooo fun and her assistant was the sweetest! I had my son with me and dr karina offered to do an exam for him as well! It was great such a big help! Thank you all keep up the good work!

I want to praise Dr. Karina Nikogosian. I am a patient at the Woodfield mall location, but I understand that Arlington Heights is her regular location. Dr Nikogosian was warm, friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable! She helped correct my lenses and was extremely patient in helping me figure out the best way to move forward with my eye needs. I am very concerned and insecure about my strong prescription, and she not only helped me feel at ease regarding my insecurities, but she also provided a lot of options that I was not aware of in terms of style of frames for my readers, etc. This was one of the best experiences that I have had with an opthamologist-and that is very difficult to do!

Just went into Lens Crafters -lots of safety precautions in place! We were greeted quickly although there were a few customers ahead of us. Huge shout out to Angie who fixed my teenaged daughter’s glasses. I thought my daughter had just lost a screw, but it became clear she had also tried to repair them with glue. Angie was up for the challenge and didn’t even shame my daughter for her secret and goofy DYI. Definitely recommend.

The staff was okay the first time I went in to adjust my frame, but not the second time, I told them I don’t feel comfortable since the legs are not symmetrical, after adjustment it didn’t get better and the lady said just try it and come back again whenever you want, I don’t want to waste time since they were about to close, when I got home I just realized one of the leg is almost broken, and there was a big dent on the other leg, I saw her using a pliers to adjust my leg ($300 frame)I was shocked but didn’t say anything at the time, it was not professional...don’t rely on the sales person to adjust your glasses, they treated it as a piece of cheap plastics. I went to the northbrook location and they ordered a new pair for me without charge since they told me it is not fixableIn general, find a reliable professional staff to avoid breaking your glasses

We were there on 1/31 for my childs first pair of glasses. She was very nervous and Victoria was fabulous. She helped us and made my child feel very comfortable. Highly recommend her and this place. My childs glasses were also 50% off, so that was a great deal for us as well.

UPDATE: due to the delay, LensCrafters staff went above and beyond in order to make me happy with my purchase. I absolutely love my prescription Burberry glasses and in the end I will return for another pair. Thank you for everything. Phenomenal customer service!Doctor was top of the line. Staff seemed polite and professional. My complaint and the reason I will not return for any other future purchase is because my eye glasses have taken 3 weeks. Why would my prescription sun glasses come before my actual eye glasses? I need my glasses?!?!?! This place blames UPS! Umm, don’t pay for cheap delivery? After spending $800 3 weeks later- I’m still without my prescription glasses!

Dr. Karina and the staff are awesome! They squeezed me in on a busy Sunday because I injured my eye. I called a lot of places and either they were closed or they were fully booked. So grateful for not having to wait til Monday to relieve my discomfort. Having a lacerated cornea is not fun. It was really nice of the staff to accommodate me even though they were super busy. Had a follow up with Dr.Karina today. She is an excellent doctor - very detailed and takes the time to explain everything. No BS with her and very trustworthy. LensCrafters in not in network for me but because of this experience and Dr. Karina I will definitely go back for my future eye exams.

Amazing staff! Very accommodating! I accidentally came before my insurance would cover my eye exam, and instead of charging me, they allowed me to reschedule at no cost. I also ran out of contacts, and they gave me a temporary pair to hold me over until I could come back. Glasses selection is great too!!!!

They mixed mine and my wife prescriptions and added extra service to my wife glasses than mine .when asked to correct mine, they asked me to return my wife glasses as well . I told them to just correct mine as it was lenscraft fault which made me return to the store after my work and now they want my wife to take another trip to their store, as if we dont have anything else to do except coming back there.They refused and i ended up returning my glasses . Wasted 6 hours of my life for nothing. Staff was showing attitude and asked if i wanted for free. Never going back again to lenscarft.

I enjoy coming to this location, but in the age of a pandemic they must do a better job of keeping the bathroom clean if it is open to customers. I felt very uncomfortable with how unclean it was.

Dr. Karina was great and went above and beyond for me. I came home from vacation and had a very painful and sensitive eye. She got me right in on Monday, even though things are crazy in the world right now with offices having limited hours etc. Got me in and got me antibiotics right away. She gave me her cell phone number to follow up with her the next day, on her day off. She goes above and beyond for her patients and makes you feel very valued. I will schedule all my future appointments with her.

Dr. Karina Nikogosian, O.D. is an excellent doctor! She listens, has infinite patience, and obviously really cares about her patients. I took my elderly dad in for an eye exam and originally we met with a different doc at this practice. Unfortunately the prescription he got wasnt working for him, and he couldnt see. So we had to go back TWICE to get his eyes retested. We met with Dr. Karina both of the additional visits, and she spent a lot of time helping him figure out which prescription would help the most. So glad we found her!

Said on the website that they accept UHC vision plan but when I arrived they said they dont accept my UHC plan. Told me to get the exam done and then I can call my insurance myself afterward. Waste of time.

The staff and optometrist here are fine. However, the products themselves arent worth the price. Within 3-6 months the coating on my lenses has continually chipped/ peeled off. On the inside, the lens part facing my eyes, is where it is coming off. Prior to buying from here, Ive had glasses that lasted for years and never had this issue. Very disappointing. Will not go here again.

Dr. Karina is absolutely amazing. I came into the shop with extreme pain in my left eye. She took me in immediately (despite being early for my appointment) and went above and beyond to make me feel more comfortable. Angie, who I believe is one of the associates, then spent 20-30 minutes making calls for me so that I could see an ophthalmologist as soon as possible.
