I love my new glasses, in addition that they came almost two weeks earlier than expected! I was pleased with the the service and expedited process of receiving my new glasses. I’ll be back. Great service and staff! This was my 3rd year going to VisionWorks and seeing Dr. Bunchuk. He spent ample time with me and explained everything including the retinal imaging. So glad he is still at this location.I also want to give kudos to Margarita for her friendliness, honesty and professionalism. She helped me pick out two pairs of glasses after I tried on many pairs! Shoutout to James, one of the associates, who not only helped me with my purchase, but also gave me great advice with individual frames and colors. He was very friendly, calm, patient, didnt rush me, and left me feeling like I had actually made a new friend. The rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful as well.

The dr was wonderful. but the store was filthy. pieces of paper all over the floor bathroom floor sticky. all employees including manager wore sweat shirts or t shirts and dirty jeans and gym shoes. not very friendly at this location .this will be the last time we come to vision works
Visionworks used to have their own labs, now everything is sent to TX. Ive been going to Visionworks for over 15 years and have always been happy; however, this past experience was a little bumpy. My prescription was all wrong and Margarita did her best, but had to rely on another store for the replacement frames, who fumbled BIG TIME; so the whole ordeal took about one month. On the other hand, my sunglasses were replaced in less than a week. She did her best to help me, which is why I only deducted one star. I still miss being able to get glasses same day, but some things cannot be controlled.
Alyssa was extremely helpful in both assisting me choose a frame, as well as maneuvering the hurdles to help me get the best pair of glasses that would be covered under my insurance. She has a rare blend of upbeat enthusiasm, patience and candor. She truly cares about the people she helps and for this I highly recommend Visionworks and specifically Alyssa!
It was straight in and out for us! I had scheduled appointments for my kids and I, a month in advance so we can all be seen at the same day. They were very organized, Doctor was straight shooter, he provided advise and suggestions based on your exam, plus all staff was on point to make our glasses shopping comfortable!.. The main reason for the 5 stars is the absolutely exceptional customer service Haley provided me. There were a few mistakes made regarding an order I made that were NOT her fault—and she personally went above and beyond to fix the situation for me. I highly recommend this specific Visionworks location because of Haley.
Great visit with the doctor and fantastic staff. Extremely helpful in guiding me to get the best glasses at the best price. Amazing experience!Update: Went to pick up my glasses yesterday. Seemed like I was being rushed and couldnt see properly. A new appointment is now needed to recheck my prescription. I think a little more patient care was needed in this case.Update #2: Increased one star back. Spoke to the site manager Monday and she worked me in today. GREAT FOLLOW-UP! This may have been a individual issue rather than a site. Action plan in place and hoping for final resolution next week.
Wonderful experience. Katy V, the manager, helped me select glasses. She was so helpful and truly focused on customer care. She went above and beyond in helping me select and arrange pickup and sizing for another location closer to my work so it would be more convenient for me. This is how amazing customer service should be!!!Extremely professional and cannot sayenough positive things about Katy and my first time visiting this store.

Had a terrific experience going to vision works. Dr. Ada Avary did such a fantastic job communicating with me in regards to my eyes and recommending what would be best to help them. Very friendly staff and location took covid seriously.
No pride in their work do not dress professionally. Went to pick up glasses. Glasses handed to me at the front door. had not been checked by anybody. I checked them over.both Lens rough on edges not polished, not smooth. refund. I would suggest choosing another optical store.
The staff at Visionworks in Arlington heights were wonderful and took such good care of me and my family! Despite the doctor being incredibly slow and us waiting so long to get in, the associates made sure we had a good experience and got us great pairs of glasses. We will always come back thanks to the great service from Jackie and Katy!

Gave me the wrong order/prescription of contact lenses twice. When I called back and told them it was the wrong prescription (they literally gave me someone elses order), the rep unapologetically told me I would have to pay for another box since it is opened and they would have to place a new order. Told them Im not looking for a new order, Im just looking for the right order, so they gave me the second box with the right prescription with the wrong color. Again, did not apologize even once until I brought it up and kept trying to make it sound like Im asking for a new order every single time, when I am just asking for my correct order. Called the location and the rep literally hung up the phone and asked I should contact customer service instead.Ive never head such a bad experience anywhere else. No one seemed like the wanted to take accountability for the mistake they made, not once, but twice.
I took my son here for his required kindergarten eye exam. I also got an eye exam for myself. I cannot say enough great things about this place! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful! The Dr. was so kind and so good with my 5 year old. I was 100% happy with our experience there! Im surprised to see all the negative reviews. Maybe things have changed because I would highly recommend this place to anyone. One other amazing thing was the price! An eye exam for $49 for my son vs. other places that were going to charge me $190 for the same thing!
I used to come to this location year ago.Had a bad experience and decided to go else where but my insurance brought me back this year. I was surprised to see so many new faces but happy. Tasteful music playing in the background and lots of smiling faces.Of course with my insurance I feel like I got a great deal but it was also nice to have a great time while I was there!
Had my exam in this location last week. Dr. B was completely thourough and gave me all my options for what kind of contacts to try. I was able to order glasses and contacts and they were both ready for pick up in just 4 days! I love my new glasses. The lady working was also able to fix my old glasses so I have a back up pair now. Great first time experience.
We have been going to Visionworks for the last several years and we were surprised to see a completely different staff when we came in. The level of service was outstanding and the staff was extremely helpful in dealing with me and my children. They worked with us to use our insurance in the most cost saving way and we couldnt be happier with our new glasses and contact lenses. Thanks!!!
I have been buying glasses for about 35 years and it was the best experience I have ever had from beginning to end. I had lost my glasses and I walked in without an appointment. They were able to fit me in and I was out of there in way less than an hour. The customer service was A rating. This will be my goto eye place from now on for sure. I want to thank everyone, especially the Sir that helped me.
The eye exam here is awesome. Everything worked out great and I got both an eyeglasses and contact lens exam at a great price. However, I do want to make a negative comment about the customer service of the workers here. While waiting for my exam, I overheard them talking bad about a customer as he walked out. They also were making comments with racist undertones and talking “ghetto.” Mind you, these girls are caucasian and there is 0 doubt about it. Very unprofessional and unclassy behavior. However, great glasses and contact lens options here!

My family was in the Arlington heights store today. We’ve never had better service in this location before. Me & my 2 silblings had exams and the doctor was great even when my younger brother was not behaving so well. All the girls working were fun to talk to and looked like they enjoyed their job. My family had a great experience here.
My experience was less than stellar. My trial pair of contacts ripped less than a week after I finalized my prescription. The contacts I bought online are still in transit to my house. I called and asked if they could provide me with another trial pair (I offered to pay for them of course) and was told that Id need to buy two boxes of contacts before theyd give me one. I explained that I was waiting for two boxes to arrive in the mail and dont want to purchase more, and they told me they cant help me because I didnt buy the contacts through them.The reason this is a 1 star review (as opposed to a 2-3 based on poor customer service) is because the facility and the doctor werent very clean when I went there for my eye exam and follow up. Cleanliness is a high expectation in this kind of environment and I felt uncomfortable letting the eye exam equipment actually touch my face, and Im nowhere near a germaphobe.In summary, they want your money and theres no customer service from them unless you buy everything through them. I will not return and I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone based on my experience.

I visited Visionworks Arlington heights yesterday. I simply wanted a quote on new glasses & was ableto get it without so much red tape. I had previously asked for a quote at mejier & had a terrible experience. They asked me for so much information (personal) it made me feel overwhelmed and I left.I’ll be back on Friday to order & I highly recommend everyone to give this place a try.
The appointment was fine and then my glasses arrived... One of the pair was sunglasses with polarized lenses, I bought sever lens features that are quite expensive, when I picked up my sunglasses and put them on things seemed okay but it seemed that there were inconsistencies in the tint. When I got to work I looked at the computer and the illumination highlighted certain parts of the lens that were not polarized as if they missed several spots around the edges. I ended up taking them back and six trips back and forth later over the course of 2 months they still have not fixed the initial issue. When I went back different associates would try to tell me that the lens is supposed to have that feature but eventually I would talk to the manager and he would look at it and agree that the lens had real imperfections and they needed to go back to the lab. After my 6 time back to vision works and multiple labs the problem is still not fixed. During one visit an associate put a heat gun on the frame and took a phone call and left them too long and came back and tried to adjust the glasses and snapped the frame. After that I got a new frame and the lens was not fixed again and sent back and then received the glasses back yet again and the lenses were not correct AGAIN and this time the arms were crooked and bent. The glasses sat lopsided on the table about an inch off the table. I pointed this out and the associate said I can fix that and proceeded to bend the metal arms and compromise the integrity of the metal even more and they are still visibly bent. I am disappointed with their service and lack of attention and for wasting so much of my time. Bena was the only one who seemed to care or know what was going on and Adrienne the manager was alright but Fernando and the others assistant manager Madeline-they didn’t seem to care for attention to detail or for my experience or the time they wasted and they did not take responsibility for the issue with my glasses or the lack of quality in their products.

The ladies who work in this location are lifesavers. I dropped my glasses and one of my lenses popped out. I stopped into the store tonight and she happily put it back in for free!!!Another person in the store was yelling dramatically I felt so bad for the girls trying to help her. I let Karla know I’d be letting everyone know how well I was taken care of.Thank you to a great team.
I recently visited on a busy Saturday afternoon and was seen by Dr. Bunchuck. He was friendly and very thorough with my eye exam. Gabriela was also very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me pick out my frames. I was very happy with my experience and purchase.

Made an appointment online. Left work early. Drove over only to be told that there is no doctor on premises that day. Tried to get registered in person with insurance to save time for the appointment when I came back, was eventually told had to do it same day. Cancelled and never going back. Didn’t seem to concerned that their online scheduling tool is broken and allowing people to waste their time.
Rude people with ZERO help. Go across the street to lenscrafters. Youll be better off.

I saw Dr Bunchuck in this office almost a month ago. He was the first dr to ever explain things to me in a way I could understand. Managers Ashley and Karla were so helpful. I let them know they had horrible reviews and she explained this location is under new management and the new team is very welcoming. My glasses were ready way before they said they would be and when I pick them up they took their time to make sure they fit me right.
Was in office this week, those girls are shining faces. There was a manager who went above and beyond for my family to make sure my son could use his insurance.

Called there first to make sure they had the type of glasses I was looking for-(circular 360 degree round John Lennon type) and the bimbo answering the phone said that they did indeed have them. Drove there and discovered that they didnt carry those type of glasses. Wasted time and gas because the employees arent intelligent enough to know what a perfect circle looks like.James
I had my prescription in hand when I went to this location to pick out frames. What drew me here was the Get Two Complete Frames fro $99 deal. Lots and lots of womens frames to choose from. Picked out my two frames but upgraded the lenses so the deal was more like Two Complete Pairs for $159. No big deal, better lenses equals more money. About a month goes by and on one of the frames the lens pops out. I go back to them and they fix it. Another month goes by and the same thing, lens pops out. Again I go back and they fix it. Yet another month goes by and again the lens pops out. Really, every month I have to go back to get them fixed, its getting a little ridiculous. This time I get told that the frames dont fit my prescription and thats why the lens keeps popping out. If the frame doesnt fit the prescription, why was I sold the frame then. Sales person was very nice and told me to pick out another frame and they would make me a new pair, free of charge. I do so and was told that when I pick up my new pair to bring the old pair back. No problem. Got the call that the glasses were done and reminder to bring the old pair back. Great. So I go to pick up the new pair and no one ever asks me for the old pair, just hands me the new pair. i would probably have given another star to this review had it not been for the numerous times I had to back to get the lenses fixed and the fact that they sold me the wrong frames for my prescription.

Well, I had no issue when I was having an eye examine. I had an issue when I was asking about the difference of lenses for the glasses. Sure, I know that they dont wanna work during weekends, but that does not mean that they can be rude to customer. Besides, my glasses frame started to fall apart after about 2 months..... bad experience....
Terrible, horrible customer service! Manager, Bina, has horrible service skills, clearly does not want to be there. No optician onsite. Not a very welcoming business. I was there pre current management and it was very different with much better service.
My glasses were broke and Bina at the Arlington hts Visionnworks was very patient and took care of me right away Fixed them perfectly despite the store being a little busy and the phone ringing. Thanks so much! I can always count on you!
Called to schedule an appointment. I was hung up on midway through the conversation. Called back, assuming it was just a mistake and no big deal, and was told Yes we have you on the schedule for 1 pm on Saturday. I show up at 12:50 pm on Saturday and was told We dont have you on the schedule. It must be due to our system. We can get you in later today though. I left and wont be coming back.
A Horrible very frustrating inconvenience... Employees bina and kammy are more concerned about making sales than assisting. The two seem nice initially but I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy. Im a business owner/entrepreneur and this was a bad business experience
