I have been seeing Dr Woods for the last several years. This is a very busy practice but they take the time for their patients and to discuss all options. Staff is very nice and office is very clean.If you need a mete surgery rod just an exam I would definitely recommend them!

We changed to Northwest Eye Physicians last year because our previous eye doctors were retiring or reducing hours. It was one of the best changes we have made. My husband and I have both seen Dr. Prickett for our exams. Each of us have had problems crop up, and the day we call, we are fit in to see a doctor. We each have seen Dr. Jose. Both Dr. Prickett and Dr. Jose are very knowledgeable, professional yet personal, tell you exactly what they are doing during the exam and give you all the time you need for questions. They are wonderful.All the people who work there are so helpful, friendly, courteous and professional. You have an emergency, they work with you to get you in the same day.Our son-in-law developed shingles, and it was in the eye area. He was not a patient at that practice, but they still got him in to see a doctor that day. It made a difference in the outcome of his shingles. Their follow-up was excellent.We are so happy to be patients at this practice.

I went to this place over 5 years ago because I was recommended by my friend. I have been seen by Dr. Wood who performed minor laser procedure on both of my eyes. My insurance did not cover in full procedure and I was left with some balance owing to them At that time I was facing financial hardship and I was not able to pay them back. They sent me two times to collection agencies and trying to recover money from me. I contacted this practice numerous times to schedule another eye exam with Dr. Wood and they are refusing any appointment or treatment, referring me to contact another medical office because I was not able to pay them back. This is disrespectful and unprofessional behavior to treat your patients this way, being rude and not even showing any empathy to the situation. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Please choose another office where you will be treated with respect and dignity. I agree to pay them back and they ignoring me. You have to wait 3 or 4 months to see their physician.

My husband had a recurring eye abrasion and our Optometrist referred us to Dr. Pricket, and the staff was professional, friendly and thorough. Dr. Pricket gave us a treatment alternative to a surgical procedure and we could not be more pleased as after 2 weeks there was almost 100 percent improvement and no doubt that after finishing the final 2 weeks the problem will be corrected. So grateful for Dr Pricket, very knowledgeable and super nice. Highly recommend him and Northwest Eye Physicians.

I had an eye emergency on a Tuesday. I went in that day and Dr. Wood took care of me and I felt instantly better. Unfortunately the same issue popped up over the weekend. I emailed the office on a Saturday evening and they were responsive almost immediately! Dr Wood called and met me at the office over the weekend to take care of me. I went for a year check up to this place because it was recommended to me by a friend. I got a eyewear Rx wrong, and thank god the optician at Palermo Eye Care that catches the mistake in my prescription. I had to come back made a second appointment to correct the error. I feel a little uneasy about the readings, but I cannot go back to my old Dr. because my insurance only cover 1 visit a year. I am sorry, but I won’t recommend them.I want to thank the follow up the manager did. I felt that she listen to me and try to give me some kind of satisfaction. I do really appreciate it the effort and how fast she came back to me.

Fought with an ‘eye-floater’ for more time than I should have. My obstruction would move right into my focus area, forcing me to quickly shift my eyes from left to right to clear my vision. It was an absolute pain. I went into see Dr Wood - he was clear on what I should expect from the procedure. We went ahead with the Laser process and within a few hours I noticed the eye-floater was gone and there was no discomfort.Kicking myself for waiting so long to do this. Thank you Dr. Wood.

I had severe eye problems the latter half of last year and required frequent visits with primarily Dr. Ali and Dr. Albertson. Some weeks I needed to be seen 2-3 times a week. The office was always able to squeeze me in and make sure that all my needs were met. When I needed a referral outside of their practice, Dr. Ali (and her assistant) secured a referral to UIC and communicated the urgency of my issues. All the techs are professional and concerned. Highly recommend this practice.

Staff is ok and helpful as soon as you dont ask anything. I asked to have my exam results in print and they have became very unfriendly, they even didnt provide me colored prints for my OCT because they only have black and white printing. Ive been visitingvyhis office for a long time and despite I mentioned I was really disapointed, they just ignored.

I came Saturday with my mother in law, dr wood is an amazing and knowledgeable doctor, he is treating his patients even after his resent surgery, and the lady with the scarf (head cover) i cant remember her name (technician) was so kind and very patient i think she is a happy person, i definitely recommend this place, you will be in a safe hands

I didn’t like the service and the efficiency in this center .I work at the airport i use the computer a daily for a 8-9. Hours. I got blurry vision for right now.the nurses were ok .they just dilated my eyes .and the MD Ali come start checking my eyes right away .she didn’t even give the drops like 10 minutes.and she was quick rushing I don’t know why .and she told me you good to go .you got only dry eyes and irritation of eyelashes.i don’t think so she diagnosed very good my situation

I have had some issurs, such as cataracts, and he has proven to be an outstanding surgeon. His assistants, too, ate skilled. I highly recommend this group.

I had my first appointment with Dr Ali during the COVID-19 pandemic, which is an odd time to be meeting a new healthcare provider. Everyone wore masks, as expected. I felt the typical COVID-19 precautions were followed.The team was fantastic, explaining to me the side effects that my autoimmune medications can have on my eye site. Upon finding out about my family history, she adjusted my follow up schedule, just to be on the safe side. I felt I was in very good hands.I did not feel pressured to purchase contacts or glasses from the group, when I made my appointment for medical reasons. Although, I had such a positive experience that I will likely revisit that topic during my next appointment.

I had laser floater treatment in this office couple of weeks ago. Very disappointed! It not only didn’t resolve my vision issues, some of the major floaters are still there. Went for a follow up today, not as explained earlier that this could be a few time treatment process, Dr Wood said he cannot do anything about it, not even a chance for another try! After a short conversation on other issues, He walked away without saying goodbye, Extremely rude! His nurse is rude too. Visited this office twice, she never leading me out of the door, even after the treatments, no follow up call from this office after treatment at all.

My husband and I were able to have appointments at the same time, and on a Saturday. This was very important for our busy schedule. Also, everyone we met there did a great job helping me feel at ease about answering questions during the exam. I am always concerned that if I give an incorrect answer, I will end up with glasses that I cant use. But they explained how that isnt possible. I appreciate the extra time they took to help me with that. The office is clean, cheerful, and we didnt have to wait more than 1 or 2 minutes in the waiting room. Thank you.

I did not have my eyes dilated, I waited for one hour and fifteen minutes for the doctor to see me. My appointment was at 10:10am, doctor came in at 11:25... The exam took 10 minutes . There was no reason for the delay except for extreme overbooking of customers.

I have been a patient for two years and have been very pleased. My physician, Dr. Adam Prickett, is wonderful. He explains everything very clearly and I feel very comfortable. The staff is also very kind and helpful. They explain what they are going to be doing and are very kind when they notice a little anxiety. I had a scratch on my eye from a cracked hard contact lens. I called to make an appointment and the Northwest Eye Physicians clinic was able to get me in right away. I had an appointment with Dr. William Park. He was outstanding. After a thorough examination of the eye, Dr. Park explained my injury to me in plain and easy to understand English. Dr. Parks care, excellent patient skills, and great attention to fine detail lead to a complete recovery of my vision in that eye. I have now switched to Dr. Park as my full time eye doctor for contact lenses and glasses.I also highly recommend the contact lens department within NW Eye Physicians clinic. The technician, Teri, went above and beyond to provide great customer service in not only helping me with a new set of contact lenses but checking my older lenses for cracks and making sure that I had the correct lenses for the right and left eye.I highly recommend the Northwest Eye Physicians clinic.

The nurse that took care of me before the doctor came in was so knowledgeable and answered so many of my questions, I wish I had her name, she was fantastic! Doctor Wood is definitely my favorite, but they are all very good.

I had Laser peripheral iridotomy performed on my right eye treating my closed angle glaucoma due to forty years of type one diabetes. The procedure was fast and worked well. Doctor Wood was very friendly and professional and the staff was very good.

Its also more reassuring to have actual doctors (who are MDs unlike other big box chains) that can address more serious eye issues that may require surgery.
