Today, I visited McNelis Family EyeCare. My eye appointment went smoothly with no wait time. Excellent exam, very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great exam equipment and services. The lady that helped me was very patient and helped narrowing down my choices for the frames I chose. Dr. Christopher Frohm was fantastic, very professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend this business and I am looking forward to my next visit.

I initially was impressed. I explicitly stated I needed glasses to work with my prescription and to see the computer. I stated I take them off to read my phone. They ordered glasses that I am only able to see far. They don’t work well. I have to enlarge the computer to 125% to be able to use the browser. Then the frames broke. My insurance only pays for once every two years. Now I’m screwed and have to pay out of pocket. They made no effort to work with me at all on this. They got their money and don’t care.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable there. I really appreciate the time they spent answering questions and talking things through as well as how they helped with finding a proper fit of new frames, which has always been so hard for me. They made it so easy!

The office is very nice. Staff and doctor are extremely nice. All of my questions were answered. At no point did I ever feel rushed. I even got help with choosing glasses that were right for me. I highly recommend this place.

I hadnt been to an eye doctor in about 6 years because I have always hated going to the eye doctor, and would prefer going to the dentist even tho I dont like going to the dentist. My aversion to the eye doctor wasnt because of things being near my eyes, but rather the doctors and staff themselves (Ive been to several and have never felt heard or like a person at any of them). Dr. McNelis and her staff were very friendly, explained everything they were doing, showed me the results of my tests, and were very encouraging. The part of the eye exam I have always hated is looking through the big machine that looks like a huge pair of glasses with several lenses because I always felt stupid when I couldnt read a letter or couldnt see much of a difference between the lenses. Other doctors would become impatient and insist there had to be a big difference between the lenses. Dr. McNelis was very friendly and patient. She also took time to talk with me to go over my options and needs. When it was time to pick out glasses the assistants were very helpful in identifying the size lenses that I would need and helped me find glasses that I would not be allergic to as I prefer metal frames to plastic frames. They were also very patient as I am very picky with how I want my glasses to look too. Everyone was very friendly, and professional. This was definitely the best experience I have had with an eye doctor, and I highly recommend McNelis for your eye care needs.

I havent been to an eye doctor in years, and thought it would be to go in for a checkup. This was my first time going and I thought the Dr. McNelis was superb. Very kind. Easy to talk to. Explained what was going on. Didnt seem like she was in a hurry. I would suggest her to any new patient looking for a new eye doctor.

I started with the McNelis Family EyeCare Center for my LASIK procedure 1.5 years ago after a friend referred me. After the wonderful care by the doctor and the staff, I switched my entire family. We all get our exams there yearly. The Dr. has been consistently on time, through, and patient with all three of my kids. Frames for my kids were reasonably priced compared to other offices. Overall a great experience and I would recommend them highly!

There is much to admire about McNelis Family EyeCare but I especially appreciate their accessibility and professionalism.When I really need to see an eye doctor they manage to fit me into the schedule and provide the help I need. The staff is very competent and friendly. The doctor is easy to talk to and takes into account the total person when doing an evaluation or making recommendations. She is willing to discuss multiple options and offers clear explanations of conditions and the various treatments available, including supplements and over-the-counter products that may prove helpful.

My first time at this eye doctor for me and my son. The staff were friendly and their was hardly any waiting before we were seen. We were both seen together one after the other through the various tests so the visit was streamlined with very little waiting. Dr. McNelis was patient with my 6 year old. The staff were also very patient with my son as he tried on many different frames before choosing one. Overall a great experience.

Dr, NcNelis has helped me for years. Her skill as a doctor is unmatched especially for diabetic care and emergencies, I had a severely irritated eye with an infection that Dr. McNelis treated and she saved my eye from any damage. She is clear and to the point about my eye care with my future health in mind as well as my present needs. Her staff are superlative and kind and always make me feel welcome. My five children go here too for their eye care needs and yearly checkups.

I took my almost two year old son there for an eye exam, everyone was amazing, the doctor was extremely patient with us considering my son is little, didn’t stay put for more than a few seconds, and wanted to touch everything. She exactly ehat she wanted to check and how to do it so he doesn’t get scared. The place was very clean, staff was cery friendly, toilets were spotless, and there were a few toys for kids in the waiting room. This is is by far the best place to have your vision checked, period. I walked in there hoping Dr. McNelis could give me eyesight mirroring the likes of Superman, which, if you know anything about that particular Kansas boy you know that its pretty good. Without skipping a beat and being the ever-so reassuring medical practitioner that she is, she responded how about we just have a seat and see what we have going on, hmm?Long story short, we went through various tests, including the one with the blurry hot air balloon. Its focused! I yelled. Its not focused! I quipped. I could see that Dr. McNelis was impressed, because she kept writing something on a sheet of paper. I thought it read GOOD CANDIDATE, which must have meant I was on whatever tier needed to get the good stuff. What really made things stand out for me though was during the very last test, or trial as I liked to call it. Had to read a few letters on the wall, and wouldnt you know it? The smallest ones I could make out read K R Y P T N. Oh, I know this one! I exclaimed.It wasnt even fair, man.But I must say while I do not have the x-ray vision that I initially went in for, I do have something just as important-- a clean bill of eye health and an updated prescription for Toric contacts!**In all seriousness though, theyre extremely professional, knowledgeable, and well, super nice. Its hard to find that these days, particularly when everyones trying to sell you on a service or merch.I highly recommend this place, youll love them!
