It was a rough go looking for a new to me vehicle until I called here & talked to Chris Nigh The Car Sales Guy! Literally EVERYWHERE I went either wanted to take me for everything I had & it be a move from one vehicle to another vehicle of the same year or they wanted more than what I had & were unwilling to work with me or tried to give me nothing for my trade in(granted my trade in had its problems) but I went in and talked to Chris & after working with his boss, I left in an amazing vehicle that was priced well over what I had & am completely over the moon.

Tom wood Honda is really a trustworthy and good place for your vehicle’s service . Their pricing is also very competitive. I will give them 5* in everything other then they publish their service special coupons, there is a restriction on using more than 1 coupon even if you have multiple service needs. I shared this feedback with service manager, and answer was these are advertised only to draw customers attention . Which is strange as you may choose multiple service options in single visit. Other dealerships apply required specials as advertised. So if you need to go choose one service option each time do not go with everything at a time at this center. E.g do not mix oil change with brakes Repaire do it in two separate visits even if you see special promo as per service representative you can not use two coupons together.Overall facility is fantastic, good wait area, professional staff and technicians.

The experience was very pleasant and only took roughly thirty minutes after I had decided what Vehicle I would like. Alec was very thorough and made sure I would not have any questions once I rolled off the lot. Definitely coming back!

Service here had been great but the last 2 visits have been a mess. Over 2.5 hours for an oil change and tire rotation last time. This time I scheduled a week ahead for new tires and an oil change and when I showed up they didnt have the tires. I called ahead twice and left messages to confirm the quote I received was still good and tires were in stock but no one called back. Trying to spend my $ here but Ill probably just get the tires at one of the shops closer to home... I cant give you my business if you dont respect my time. I also paid for an oil change and tire rotation at my recent visit and they didnt rotate the tires! Guys, 2 of the rims are scratched up, its easy to see you didnt rotate them. Come on!!

Overall awful experience. We bought our car over a week ago and has been in the service department getting fixed since the second day we had the car. I had called the manager and spoke to him about the issue and I was told he told our salesman that he didn’t even want us to drive the car off the lot because he knew there were issues needing fixed, although our salesman was encouraging us to take it home the same day. The manager was understanding and informed me to bring the car in as soon as possible. After 5 days I was called and told the car was ready to be picked up and everything that was wrong had been fixed. I didn’t even make it a mile down the road before something had popped under the hood and loud grinding started, the lights were still not working properly, the auto start-stop is not working, and parts under the car were hanging by zip ties. We had also mentioned something about an exhaust leak. We were only able to travel a third of what the tank should take you mileage wise before needing to fill up again. The day I went to pick it up I lost 10 miles of gas from the dealership to Texas Roadhouse which is just on the other side of scatterfield so it obviously wasn’t tended to and they’re still blowing that issue off. I would highly suggest spending your time and money elsewhere. Hoping we can use our warranty elsewhere. We have children and feel completely unsure of driving this vehicle with our children in it after reading other reviews.We cannot get any real answers of what is going with the car. We also cannot get anyone to answer our phone calls. We have called and left a voicemail to the sales manager, service manager, and even general manager and have not gotten a single answer from any of them in 4 days

Took my car there for service repairs and took upwards of seven weeks for completion, all of that time I did not have a loaner car. Everytime I attempted to get updates I would get sent straight to voicemail and wouldnt receive any calls back. Service advisor never called to tell what was wrong with the car. When repairs were finished, the bill was not turned into the insurance company. It seems as if the service department does not know whats going on. My daughter was going to buy a car, but after this experience, she decided to go elsewhere.

I went in for a oil change with no appointment, and the service rep was able to fit me in. He said that most of the service techs were out to lunch and they have other vehicles to do when they get back. I was advised that it make take 2 or 3 hours. I was fine with that since I was a walk in. I needed other work done as well and I was in and out in 2 hrs. I appreciate being able to get my oil change done and other services that were recommend. I would definitely recommend this service department and dealership.

My mom, my brother- in law, sister and now myself have all been to this location and we have all walked out completely satisfied with new keys in hand!As soon as you walk in everyone is so nice and welcoming.When I went in I had my daughter and niece with me and Luke (my sales rep) helped me handle the little ones by putting Cocomelon on his phone to occupy them. They really took the time to help me find the mom car that was my perfect fit and still within my budget. They even took the time to help me clean and transfer all my things from my old car to my new one! I HIGHLY recommend Tom Wood Honda in Anderson for all you car needs. I was greeted by Zach and he immediately went to work helping me. He brought the cars I wanted to see right up to the front door. It was cold and snowing, so this was much appreciated. When I decided on the car I wanted to purchase, he was very thorough in explaining all of the closing costs. He was a great host. Kept asking if he could get us a drink or anything while we waited to complete the paperwork. I am so happy with the car I purchased and would definitely return to this dealership!!!

Believe me I went to other Honda dealerships around and even called dealerships far away. I check out other types of cars. Ive done a lot of car shopping in the last month. They took the time to explain everything and made sure I got the car I wanted. If you dont live in Anderson its well worth the drive. Im a very picky person. Im very happy with my new CRV.

Honestly this place is awful. Not only did they mess up and forget to screw in my bottom plate of my car but it took them months to replace it. I had already driven another 5,000 miles and needed a new oil change by the time they finally got my replacement cover. They never called me back and every time I’ve been in it’s like drag for them to speak to me, almost like it’s an inconvenience for them. Maybe I wouldn’t have been such an inconvenience for them if they would have just done their job right instead of rushing it just so they could move me along. Let’s not forget the customer service is almost as bad as the service department. You’d think since I was leasing it they’d want me to bring it to them for an oil change but I guess they don’t care about the cars they sell.

I was very satisfied with my experience at Tom Wood Honda Anderson. Mechele, my sales consultant, was very professional and patient with me and my 4-year-old son. We were able to try various car seat configurations to determine which vehicle would best fit our familys needs. Financing was very easy and straightforward and was not pushy about supplemental packages, which I appreciate. I also appreciate that the facility was very clean. These guys pushing 30k transmission flushes and can provide no documentation showing Honda officially recommending it. To get you to quit asking they will print documentation from a 20 plus year old model of it and try to pass it off as for the current model. Totally deceptive practices preying on trusting people.When given a chance to make it right, they say sorry and send you on your way.Be careful with these guys in the front desk service.

I received excellent service at Tom Wood Honda! I arrived 2 hours prior to my appointment due to a change in my schedule, but David worked me into the maintenance lineup. The waiting area was clean, quiet and comfy, and I was able to catch up on some work. The complimentary refreshments were a great plus. I’ve been visiting Tom Wood Honda in Anderson for service on my 2014 Accord Coupe ever since I purchased it new. As someone who is particular about the condition of their vehicle, I appreciate how well it’s cared for here. The service department is also very reasonable when it comes to necessary and recommended vehicle maintenance. Better yet, everyone I’ve worked with there has been very friendly and helpful. The staff was friendly and willing to listen to what i was wanting. The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because the car I bought was showing 10% oil life but was told they had changed the oil and forgot to reset the oil life gauge. When i got the car home I checked the oil and it was a quart low... I know everyone makes mistakes but i think this is one that could have been prevented if they would have checked the oil level to confirm it was full/and changed. Other than that i was very happy with the people.

This place is an absolute joke. If it wasn’t for the work being done under warranty I would never go back to this place. Returning for the same issue 3 times. I had my appointment scheduled 2 weeks in advance to have the ac condenser replaced. You would think they would make sure to have that part in stock or to call and let me know that they didn’t have it so I could reschedule considering I live 45+ minutes away. Overall just bad service and if I could give it a negative rating I absolutely would.

I purchased my very first car on 12/23 from here and I had a very great experience! Luke M was my salesperson and was very helpful with getting me a great price for my vehicle and making sure I got all of my needed papers in to have my title info mailed to me. He even connected me with my serviceman (Cody) when he was away from the phone. Luke was always very polite and easy to talk to and contact. Cody was helpful as well and accommodating! I love my new car and the service I got from Tom Wood Honda! As a first time car buyer I feel like everything was made pretty easy and understandable for me. I think I may need to get my check engine light looked at cause it came back on shortly after I left the dealer yesterday but my car runs amazingly! I doubt (and hope) it’s anything major.

Went to Tom Wood Honda for my first brand new car buy and I was so happy I did. I was unsure, nervous, indecisive and a million other things. I was doing this alone with no real idea of how to go about this. I had previously spoke with two other places, one in Lafayette and the other in Indy. They were both rude to me and one I was literally supposed to just go sign and pick my car up. I had gotten that far, but the attitude of the salesman was unreal. They didnt want to help me in any way. I ended up calling Tom Wood Honda and spoke with Aaron Cooper on Saturday, it was 2 quick calls, then picked up my car on Monday after work. I did everything over the phone and just signed papers when I went to pick up my car. I found out that I was being lied to and bamboozled from the other places. Aaron and the staff at Tom Wood Honda in Anderson was so kind, patient, down to earth, no pressure, no frustration from them even with me asking for a few different prices and changing my mind 10 times! Lol my sister also goes here and shes had 3 new cars from them and has loved every encounter shes ever had with this staff. I am so glad I decided to call here. I promise you wont be disappointed. *Some of these 5 star reviews are from employees!! Highly dissatisfied with the customer service from management. Not a single person will return my phone calls and when they call my husband back instead of addressing our concerns he’s left without answers. I have reached out to Damien, the general manager (left 1 vm) and David, the service manager (left two vm). I find it ridiculous that even when I was at the dealership and requested the manager, he wouldn’t come out of his office to speak with me. I believe our salesman is truly trying his best to get this situation figured out, he has tried to answer many questions to the best of his knowledge; however, my concerns are with the management and their customer service. I really hope that our vehicle is fixed our second time around of picking it up. We purchased the vehicle 10 days ago and we were only able to drive it home before needing to return it the following Monday, to which the manager stated that he had mentioned to our salesman he was uncomfortable with us driving our newly purchased vehicle home due to it needing service. At purchasing we informed our salesman that the oil light was on and he told us they probably had just not reset the computer after the oil change and that is why the light was on. He also said that may have been why the check engine light was on and they guaranteed us it would be addressed when we brought the car back in for the windshield to be replaced because the service department was on their way out the door for the day. My husband let them know about a part being held up under the car by zip ties and they said it was driven onto the lot like that and they were unaware because service hadn’t been done to the vehicle. Pretty contradicting to the oil light situation. The auto start stop function was also not working and we were told it was because the air couldn’t be on or because we needed to make sure our seatbelts were on for the function to work… the car also had an exhaust leak that was not addressed. We used a tank of gas in 120 miles. When the car was dropped off for service the Monday after purchase, the car was serviced for 4 days and we were called and told it was ready for pick up. The windshield hadn’t been replaced, auto start wasn’t fixed, exhaust leak wasn’t fixed and neither was some of the computer/wiring issues. We were basically told that they were unaware as to why everything hadn’t been fixed because they were notified service put $2,000 into our vehicle… thank God we have a warranty because I’m concerned that their service department is doing more harm than good. Please save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. Thankful the dealership provided us with a rental car but it too is having issues of its own. Hope we get everything sorted out soon and fixed correctly.

To say the customer service and car repair knowledge at this service department is nonexistent is an understatement. During the month long period they had my car I made a call to the General Manager, Damien Richardson and left a voicemail with no return call. I took my car here July 29th with the extended warranty I had bought from them due to my AC not working and an oil leak. They said they didn’t find the oil leak (which had without a doubt been going on for months now) and they were ordering the part to fix my air conditioning. On August 11th they told me the wrong part came in. On August 13 the correct part was suppose to arrive and my car would be done the first of the next week. I then spent the next week with no call back and numerous voicemails left unanswered. On August 20th I was told there was now a family emergency and that someone was going to look into the status of my car and give me a call back quickly. That never happened. I then wait until August 25th to call again (not so nicely this time) and check the status of my car. The excuse was now back to waiting on the AC part to arrive (blower motor resistor which I contacted numerous other dealerships whom said they had the part in or could get it next day). Later that evening my boyfriend stopped in the shop and inquired about what was going on. He was then told the part had just arrived that day (of course it had after an irate phone call and a visit to the shop) and they would do the best they could but make no promises on getting the part put in that day, with two hours left in the work day after I’ve already waited a month for my car with no loaner car available for me, so they said. August 26th arrives and I give the shop another call because once again no one has followed up with me. I am then told the part was put in and now my dashboard is shorting and my car won’t start. They say they are going to tow my car to Tom Wood Nissan to see what the problem is. August 28th I call the shop numerous times with no answer or returned call. August 30th I call again and finally am told that they are expecting a call from the Nissan dealership my car was sent to. At this point I decided to call said dealership myself and see what was going on. I am told by Nissan that my car is just now arriving at their shop (so it had sat at Honda for 3 additional days because they couldn’t even tow a car in a timely manner). Tom Wood Nissan has given me more return calls in 2 days of having my car and is getting the problems fixed I took my car in for, plus the problem that happened at Honda’s responsibility in a fourth of the time Honda could. I will never again purchase another vehicle (or platinum warranty) from Tom Wood Honda.

Took Car in on Thursday for Oil Change and Serpentine Belt replacement. Sent me a text message Thursday afternoon (no phone call) with a list of other parts they said needed repair. Called them Friday to check on Car and was told it was waiting approval for the repairs I hadnt taken it there for. Told them to perform the repairs the Car was originally taken in for. Saturday called them to check on Car. Was told Belt was on order and it would be Wednesday before my Car would be ready. No Communication with me to let me know they were going to have my Car for 5 days for a part that was readily available at the local Parts Store ( I called). This is the SECOND time this Dealer has pulled this on us, both times for the same part. The Serpentine Belt along with the Alternator and Tension Pulley were just replaced by this same Dealership. It came apart after a couple of months so it was either defective or incorrectly installed, thus the second repair.

We had a repair on our Civic that was out of warranty and were ready to bite the bullet and just buy a condenser for our AC. System stopped working after just about 3 years.We took it to Tom Wood Honda and learned that Honda had provided an extension to the warranty for this very thing. The service person at another Honda dealership never mentioned this, which was the reason we took the car back home and didnt do it right away.In short, we got a good deal from both Honda and Tom Wood and saved around $800. Really appreciate how the service person was looking out for me.They also did some basic maintenance like transmission fluid change. The $200 we spent felt like a real bargain, all things considered.

Not good. Oil change gone bad .Arrived and was greeted by Christian who seemed bothered I didn’t have an appointment. Said it’s going to be a few hours. I thought no problem and I set off on foot. After about an hour I was receiving texts it was done...GREAT! Awesome !! Went back and was given a full sales pitch to sell me something else. I declined and with much obvious disappoint he finally cashed me out and I went home. Later that afternoon I was cleaning the car.. underneath I found oil wet on the skid plate or pan under the car. I pulled the dipstick twice and no oil registered. I contacted the dealership twice and I actually received a phone call from Brandon the service manager on his day off that handled it professionally and had the car towed in the following Monday. I received a follow up call after inspection stating there was no oil on the skid plate pan and the oil level was full. They even had pictures. One picture showed the skid plate halfway unbolted and bent down to expose the bottom of the engine for inspection. Thought nothing of it . The conversation with Brandon exposed an error during then oil change. Although it seemed all good and wellI retrieved the car and brought it home.That same skid plate was loose and vibrating and blowing in the wind on the side where it had been bent down and is apparently lacking bolts to hold it up. And the oil level is fine now .I’m sure the service manual doesn’t say remove half the bolts and bend the plate down and not put it back up correctly so it blows loose . I followed up with Brandon on his personal phone, sent photos of the loose plate and it’s obviously hanging bent and not bolted back up completely. I am not expecting any further action. I will get that plate replaced or bent back and secured one way or another. Brandon was professional and always replied back through this process. If only everyone else was ...

Team was helpful but the little things were lacking. Bought a brand new car that had less than half a tank of gas. Something small but when there are only 8 miles on the car it should have a full tank.Update: Management was able to make this right and I appreciate their diligence in correcting the issue.

I needed to buy a used car for my daughter’s first car. I made an appointment to take a test drive of one they had online. They were ready for me when I got there, which not all dealerships are in my experience. Austin was my sales rep, and he was very friendly, patient, and no pressure. They worked with me to get the cost where I needed it, without having to play the games that normally come along with buying a car. It was quick and easy, and I’m very happy with the value of the car I purchased.

I received a recall notice in the mail on my 2019 Honda CVS. I made an appointment with the service department of Tom Wood Honda.When I arrived at the appointment, approximately 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time, I was told that there would be a 2 hour wait before they could even begin working on my vehicle and the work would take 2 hours as well. I explained that I had a scheduled appointment, but the service people said it didnt matter. I would still have to wait.When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the way their scheduling was handled I was told by a service technician that they did not have anything to do with their scheduling because it was all done through the Honda corporation.I decided to use my extensive wait time to call Honda Corporation. Imagine my surprise when the lady I spoke to explained that Tom Wood Honda is independently owned and handles its own scheduling.After that phone call I asked to speak with the General Manager of Tom Wood Honda. Several minutes later, the Service Manager came out and said the General Manager was out for the day, but he would be happy to help me.He told me that I wasnt lied to. He said it was just a misunderstanding and they were doing their best.Three hours later, they were finally done.I noticed right away that my car wasnt running as well as it did before they fixed it. I knew I was going to have to contact Tom Wood soon to have their faulty work redone. Unfortunately, I became stranded in my vehicle before I had a chance to speak to them. I was 45 miles from my home and the car would not even start.. I called Tom wood to explain my emergency and was told that they would have to have someone get back with me and that they could not guarantee that I would get that call in the near future. Utimately I called a much more reputable dealer That was able to fix the damage done by Tom Woods technicians and make my vehicle run the way it did before got ahold of it.

Best Honda dealership in the Midwest! Tom Wood Honda is an exceptional dealership especially if youve done your research and know exactly what you want. I appreciated working with Aaron and all of the sales/finance management as I dont like to mess around and wanted to get the deal done and vehicle picked up quickly. Only misses were during multi-point inspection:•Dash light brightness not returned to owner set level•Headlights were moved from auto to off positionand no car wash.All in all, a good visit!

It was raining hard when I came out of the eye doctor. My car wouldn’t start. First time using my roadside assistance. (Motor Club) Got my CRV jump started. I knew if I shut it off it probably wouldn’t start again. It was getting late to get a new battery. So I drove to Tom Wood Honda in Anderson. Pulled in there and there was a mechanic that hadn’t left for the evening. So with Great Last Minute service I got a new battery installed in about 30 minutes, I was on my way home. Thank you for the Great service I received!!

The communication was less than stellar, I had to follow up several times to check the status.I was told the work would take 3-5 days, it ended up taking 12 (work)days due to the job being perform prior to mine and being sent a wrong part.Would I use them again, probably not.
