The 2 people I dealt with there were incredible!! I had my 1.5 year old son with me as well. I got out in less than 30 minutes, which helps me so much. It was quick and easy!
If anyone wants to have real customer service and needs some great wireless coverage this is the place to go. I grew up 20 miles away from this location, moved to Pittsburgh 3 years ago, and STILL am willing to take the trip here. The staff here are fantastic and I have known the Manager, Derrick for years. Truly a great, genuine guy, and you can see it throughout the staff and the store.I used to have AT&T for years and was having some problems with data coverage, and after so many up charges and hidden fees on bills, along with my data never getting fixed, I knew it was time to get some real service.Long story short, I walked in with an ancient iPhone 7 that gave me internet when it wanted to, and walked out with an iPhone 11. Been happy ever since, and I won’t go anywhere else. Not only are these ladies and gents great in here, but they’re worth taking the trip to see!Icing on the cake: I’ve been trying to get a Pittsburgh number for a few years now, and AT&T always told me there were none available.. Decided to take a look and see if I could get one this time and finally got one!
First time coming to this store, and I couldnt have been more pleased with the service! Just switched to Verizon, and needed help with a port. The manger Derrick was more than happy to help. After a issue on my end, it got fixed. Highly recommend going to this Verizon store, they are much better than the second tier retailers.
Gotta give 5 stars to this team. Paul was brilliant setting up our business account, ditching T-mobile within a few months of signing up (T-mobiles service was terrible, and customer service was atrocious)
My mother and I visited this Verizon location today to purchase an Apple Watch and had the BEST experience we’ve ever had with a Verizon store (We have been Verizon customers for 10+ years so that’s saying a lot!) Gerber was super helpful and explained everything from the product to our new bill to us very clearly. His supervisor Courtney also assisted us briefly and was wonderful as well! They were both very knowledgeable and they get bonus points for being personable! We will definitely be visiting this location again for any future purchases or services!
Derrick and the staff helped me out with an issue I was having with my iPhone. Was thankful that they were following CDC guidelines which made me feel more comfortable interacting with them. Highly recommend this store for any Verizon issues or purchases you may need.
Had insurance on my phone went on to have it replaced, wouldnt replace it because the screen had a small chip in it..I thought this was the reason for insurance to replace the phone..
I went over to get some help with my old phone and I thought I might be ready to upgrade? I got a new phone Samsung S10 and they treated me really well and was even wearing their masks Not pressuring me to upgrade, They asked me what my budget was and even stayed there 20+ minutes after closing time.I was happy and the service was excellent..
The Altoona, PA store took care of what I needed. Staff was efficient and professional. And, their C-19 protocols were followed to ensure safety of their customers and staff.

First due to covid only so many customers in the store at a time. So in the cold weather you have to sign in with a representative outside the building and wait your turn to enter the premises.. Once inside the display of phones are minimal to the most expensive phones on the market. After purchasing you have to wait for your phone through the mail. The representative stated they cant initiate the phone from their place. So upon getting my phones I attempted to start them to find I need an adaptor that he did not provide me. Called Verizon on the old phone to get the new phone working. Waited 40 minutes then the representative accidentally locked all my phones. I ran to another Verizon store who gave me the adapter for no charge. Couldnt still access my phone because the phones were not working. Went back to this other store and they helped get my phones working. How can this other store activate my phone but the one on falcon lane altoona couldnt. I will not in the future inquire at this store. I believe they did not get me through to my process so I can access my line.nit a reliable place.

I am on my 5th refurbished phone from Verizon. I have the Google Pixel 4XL. Keep in mind I bought the phone brand new the day it came out. In 2 months I started having problems so I take the phone in and they give me a refurbished phone which I could tell had issues. In 6 months Im on my 5th one! They recommend me to pay off the phone! The phone they gave to me that was broke! Customer service was terrible all they want to do is make money.
Verizon cell service and map is great, but their employees in store and over the phone are usually lacking. No matter what the issue is, how big or small it was, who we talked to....something was always done wrong from what we were told was going to be the case. So all in all my experience with Verizon is that the cell services is great! Any interaction with any employee is where issues start to happen. I just always felt like they thought they were better than you and could just talk to you around in circles until you just agreed so you could get out of there.
I had a very different phone issue and I was (still) very frustrated. I was pretty rude and mouthy with the staff and they took it extremely well. I didnt intend to be like that but it just happened. Kim and the manager (didnt catch name) remained professional and looked into my issue. They wernt able to fix my problem but they had good advice.
Great service and good representative
Good Verizon store. The staff here keeps things moving along, and were polite during my visits. They have a reasonably good selection of demo merchandise on the floor, and enough space that it doesnt feel overcrowded. My experience here on multiple occasions has been good. Although wait lines here can get to be a little longer than other local Verizon stores due to its popularity.
The people at the Altoona store were great and helped my daughter. Very professional.

Ive had back & forth ordeals with this store. I believe it all depends on the staff member you have that is helping you. There is definitely a couple in there that I would no longer allow to help me, let alone bag my groceries & several that are absolutely great!! Those that are great I hope stay that way, I applaud your customer service & the fact that you dont allow a bad customer to bring your good service attitude down. Regardless of the situation Ive never walked out of that store without an unanswered question, or results to my problems.

To start off my fiance and I wanted to make the switch. So we go up there to get the real on a note 10 plus buy one get one free. Everything went smooth they gladly took our money and sent us on our way. 5 months later were still paying on the phone that was supposed to be free. We give them a call and are rudely greeted by someone telling us were pretty much lying and that their associate did what she was told to do and gave us the deal we wanted. So now were stuck with extra charges. Do not go here. The place is a joke and they will lie to get you to sign up and then not follow through.

I truly felt like the associate really wanted to help me out with my phone problem. To either fix it or get it replaced. And she wound up fixing it. And she even offered me a deal with my husband. I appreciated her.
I is currently the worlds most popular sevice. They have a lot of phones and there data server has a great range. But some of the workers are very nice and help out as much as they can. On the other hand some workers act like they have to just keep offering new stuff and arent trying to help. Verizons store is easy to go to it is plain and clean no that much in your way. They also have music playing on a google speaker to show of its ability. They have lots of phones you can interact with that way you can have like a demo of its features and style. And the demo phones have a great slideshow showing of the said features and the HD quality their phones have. Currently the service they offer doesnt support 3g but is you already have a 3g phone connected that wont matter. It is also very convenient to get to the location.

I read the reviews on here prior to visiting and had low expectations. Absolutely no wait at lunch time and completely satisfied with the resolution to my hardware issue. I have been in quite a few Verizon stores over the last decade and this had to have been one of the better experiences.
I would suggest another store... this review is about the employees at Verizon Logan Town Center not Verizon as a company.I talked my sister into going android and staying on Verizon Prepaid... She had a new phone we took into this location and have it set up. The guy looked at me when I asked for him to set it all up change Sims and make sure it worked for her he replied that it was easy and just take it home and handed her a paper on transferring content. He then proceeded to port the number over [ which is immediate] shutting her old phone down from communications. We did as he suggested to no avail.. We took the phone to another location and they were appalled at the customer service and charges she incurred [ activation fee] and it not being active. This other location tried to the best of any customer service I have seen to rectify the situation, eventually we got the phone to work. Verizon as a company made it very right with my sister... however upon notifying the second location we took the phone to we had resolved the issue we found out another customer had followed after us into this location only to have brought a brand new phone and told to take it home it will work in 4 hours. [sigh]I say to Verizon the Company and brand.you made it 100% right when contacted about this THANK YOU however there is something wrong at your corporate store in Logan Town Center Altoona PA. These employees are not doing your brand any service, If it was my name brand Id be in that store finding out why? I have been a verizon customer 15 years my sister 20 you almost lost that customer base on the actions of these employees acting on your behalf.

Service was terrible. The manager greeted me at the door. Entered the information. Told me there was two customers in front of me. I was there for twenty minutes. In the meantime I noticed three male employee conversing with each other. After I expressed my dissatisfaction, someone came to me and answered my question. My problem was answered in less than 10 minutes.
I bought a phone and got talked into a tablet. The only reason I agreed was because the salesperson said it was a promo, free, with the phone I was buying. I specifically asked how much it would raise my bill and was told nothing. Weeks later when I recieved my bill surprise! Added charges. Not a big deal right? Ill speak with the manager. Well thats where the problem was. She was rude and condescending basically calling me a liar even though I had a witness at the time. She refused to take the tablet back because it was past 14 days. My bill cycle is every 30. Make sure you get everything in writing when dealing with this store. I should have gone elsewhere

Normally this is the only Verizon store I went to but I will be changing that. The customer service out of this store is beyond ridiculous. I consider myself tech savvy and only go to the store when its bad. I have had to go 9 times in just a year because I keep getting sent a defective phone. Every time I go in, they tell me stupid things and act like Im dumb. One employee tried to tell me you cant get a virus on your phone because you can shut it off. You can also shut off a computer. How does the computer get a virus then?! My most recent visit. I have a Google pixel XL and it wouldnt charge anymore. It would show the lightning bolt but settings would say otherwise. The woman I dealt with tried to tell me that it didnt matter what the settings said, the lightning bolt meant it was charging. I demanded her to send me a different phone as this was the 9th replacement I have had. She refused and I asked if she could call customer service. She said they wouldnt do anything. Fed up at this point, I said fine overnight me a new one to my new address. Mind you this was on a Monday. She typed it in and I was on my way. When I got home, I called customer service and told them what had happened. The woman on the phone told me if this phone acts up then they will send me a completely different manufacturer. Flash forward to Friday and Im so upset because I have yet to get my replacement. Im on the phone with the store and they tell me they cant do anything because they cant change the address. Its going to my old address that I dont live at anymore. Then I call customer service and Im on the phone for an hour. The woman told me that the store could have done everything she did to get me my phone. All in all, Im never going to that store again.
Depending on the time of day it may be a little busier, but they people are great.
The most courtius helpful employees work in this store. They dont hesitate to spend as much time as needed to help you.

Clean, spacious building with plenty of display products and accessories. So in the last two months I had to have my phone replaced twice because of manufacturers defects. The first time I went after work, like many others there at that time, so yes I did have to wait but I expected that. Once it was my turn, I had a new phone being overnighted to me in less than 15 mins. Got the new phone and after a month, ghost charging issues and battery drain. New phone being overnighted in less than 15 mins again! Great customer service and help! They are also salespeople so they did try to get me to upgrade, but after I declined they stopped.
Staff is friendly and was able to answer all questions I had about the products I was interested in.

Staff is A plus. First store Ive been to that the staff new what they were talking about. While my Verizon service is not as great as Verizon says it is on the commercials. And to be honest I had better luck with AT&T a few years ago the staff here were. I drive over the road and Im gone a lot. But if I have a problem this store is the first place I stop. When Im home I have little time to spend with my family. So I hate wasting my time doing other thing. I can call ahead a day or two and there ready to help as soon as I get in. Less time wasted. While again Im not a big fan of Verizon I wouldnt go anywhere else for support. There the best. Last note. When we bought our phone and tablet, there was no pressure. They took time to work with me. In fact I bought my wifes tablet there and they were talking to me about the apple which is the one I wanted to by. The wife wanted a 64GB but the talk to me about getting a 32GB. I bought the 64 because of future use for my wife but they didnt have to talk to me about the cheaper one. I never ask. The just wanted to make sure I wasnt throwin good money away. Most stores try to get you to upgrade not save money. Lookin at gettin a new phone and I dont have to shop around, there only one place to go.
On several occasions the staff here had no idea what they were talking about. Not just incorrect, but flat out wrong when it came to their own devices. Customer service skills are non-existent: subpar is a gross understatement. That narcissist queen (male)? Fahget her, mija! She isnt even as hot as she thinks. I went back to AT&T where their employees know what theyre selling.

After spending much of my morning/afternoon talking to a customer service representative from Verizon, they informed me that this Altoona store had what I was looking for to do an exchange on a phone I had ordered online through a store. So, I called..asked for one to be held, which it was..and I made the hour and a half drive from work to pick it up. When I got there, I was asked to wait (no big deal..I know its common in these stores); however, there were 2 associates working with the same customer trying to sell him a speaker while I waited. One of them eventually comes back to me and I explain to him what the issue was..he says sure he can exchange it but he cant give me the same deal I already had and that he would charge me a restocking fee..I tried to explain that I was given that deal in a corporate Verizon store and that I spoke with Verizon on and off for hours before coming into the store...the associate stated This is Verizon! with a cocky attitude, and attempted to make me look/feel stupid. I took my phone and walked out and called the main Verizon customer service number, where I was told that this sales person was WRONG and that he absolutely could have exchanged my unopened/unused phone at the same promotion that I received just days ago. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THIS STORE!!! I recommend calling the main Verizon support for any help you may need..every agent I talked to was very friendly and helpful. I will never go back to this store.
