I recently ordered a Murphy cabinet from Z Modern Furniture, purchased it over the phone, directly from Gus. He was able to get it delivered the next day. Unfortunately, it was damaged and did not close properly. I contacted Gus, he was very professional, and asked that I send some pictures of the damage. After receiving the pictures, he scheduled delivery of a new unit, and had his delivery staff verify that unit was 100% before they left. Top notch customer service, will shop again from Z & Gus!
I ordered a item from their website on 8/23. First it was weird that you have to wait for an email to get a delivery charge. Never received an email!!! Called them and he said his system was down and would call me back, he never did.
Gus was incredible to work with from the beginning of the project and throughout the entire project to completion. We are designers based in Toronto, Canada and it was crucial that we had someone who was highly organized and detailed especially as we were working from out of town, making the logistics a bit more complicated. We shipped and stored furniture for a complete home (roughly 9,000 sq feet) with Z-Furniture Warehouse for probably just over a year. Gus was constantly updating us on shipment arrivals and worked with us to create a tracking system that made sense for our needs. We had worked previously with another warehouse in DC and had experienced many issues with missing items and items that were not properly accounted for which was a huge headache for us. This was not the case with Gus, he had detailed records of everything that he received and delivered. He was incredibly easy to work with and when we were unable to make it to DC during our delivery due to COVID19 he and his team were able to deliver and assemble all stored furniture without any issues. We set up all 9,000 sq ft of furniture in this home over the course of a week so having someone organized was absolutely crucial. Being remote for a delivery of this scale was hard enough and having Z-Furniture Warehouse as our team on the ground helped make the process as smooth as possible. He also had great resources for helping fix furniture items that did arrive with damage. I was hesitant initially with the limited information online and we were putting our trust in Z-Furniture without any recommendations, but working with Gus and Z-Furniture was one of the best decisions we could have made for this project. He was also always easy to get a hold of when needed whether by email or phone -- he really came through for us in a big way. I would highly recommend Z-Furniture for receiving, storage, and moving services. It is only a shame that he is not local so we could work with him on all of our Toronto jobs.

The price was reasonable and delivery and setup was very efficient. See Gus and hell take care of you. Highly recommended.
We received a delivery of office furniture today. Our office is on the second floor of a walkup building. Your three men were EXCELLENT in their service -- very courteous, taking extra care in carrying up the pieces and carefully setting them down in order to avoid nicking or scratching the pieces. I cannot say enough good things about these fine young men. I even asked for business cards for any future referrals! Please recognize them for their hard work.
I got a good deal on a chair but the sold me a lamp that doesn’t work. UPDATE - they refunded my lamp. Great services.

Excellent in store experience. We first met Kyle and were impressed with his professionalism and the sofas he directed us to. We went back several days later to order and were taken care of by the owner. We purchased 2 sofas and, as promised, they were delivered within 1 week. The quality of the furniture is excellent; store service terrific; delivery men clean and professional and on time. I highly recommend this store.

Im very satisfied with their services and products. I ordered a bed and night tables and scheduled for delivery and installation. I had to change the delivery date twice due to some renovation at my house and they are nice enough to reschedule it. Love the bed :)

There is no point in coming to this showroom if you want to look at the furniture you are hoping to purchase. The showroom is tiny with a handful of items on display. For example, I went to look at beds and they have three beds in the back on the showroom. The polite employee just told me I’d be better off looking at the catalog.
I rated this place as five starts for a wonderful $250 floor model couch.But the next day they called me up, telling me it was delayed two weeks because it had become damaged. A week later they told me that it was delayed another 5 weeks.

Who ever buys furniture From Zfurniture...DO NOT GET THE PROTECTION PLAN... it’s wast of your money n time. I got my orange furniture from this place n i was offered to buy the protection plan that will would be worry free plan, when I called them they said that the color chip and n crack is not covered at all...please DO NOT BUY IT.... they mislead their customers about the protection plan.
Stopped by today, decent furniture but ridiculously overpriced. I Googled the office chair I was interested in, and they were charging more than double the price of every other retailer. And the guy running the shop (owner or manager) was a total joke. Unhelpful, unfriendly, not knowledgeable about his products - just no comprehension of customer service whatsoever. Pass.

Great friendly staff. Very limited physical furniture options available at the store. They do have a lot of catalog designs.
I love the furniture I ordered, although it was pretty expensive. My problem lies more with the customer service. I was told it would take no more than two weeks for my order to come in. Around the three week mark, I called to check in. At that point I was told that it would take no less than four weeks. When my order finally came in, we scheduled delivery. The delivery window was three hours, but the deliver truck showed up over four hours after that window ended. Given that the delivery window started in the morning and set up was not done until 7pm that night - this literally consumed my entire day off. No one called me to let me know that delivery would be late, and every time I called I was told they just left the last customer and are on their way to you. no more than 15 minutes. I would wait 30-60 minutes before calling again to be told the same thing 3 or 4 times. Being so late is one thing, but unapologetically lying to me and refusing to be more forthcoming so that I can adequately plan my day around the delivery was rude, irresponsible, and terrible customer service. I asked for something to make up for this, and they promised to speak with the owner and call me back. That was several days ago, and I have not heard back. Given that they charged my credit card for the order ages ago, I expect that they will never speak to me again. Seriously, dont work with this company.

They literally do not deliver on their promises. They assured me my purchase would be delivered by the date promised. It is now almost a week later and a discussion with the delivery company, it was never signed up for the delivery date. They lied to me to make the sale. I never would have purchased. Do not recommend.
These guys are just insane!Worst customer service ever,We ordered our furniture in December and did not get the shipment yet until today i.e May .And Now they say that they received the shipment to their store but do not have people to ship it to our house until a week .Cant believe they are still holding our furniture for silly reasons. Beware people.think before you buy something from them.
Update your damn website to show your store is no longer open in virginia. Its very sad that you cant even update your hours of operation or remove stores which are closed down on your website and google.

Failed to meet or come close to promised date, poor customer service, and broke their promises to me.Ordered 28 Sep, to be available within 1 week (5 Oct). Was not available until today, 17 Oct.I repeatedly had to call to inquire on status. At each call, the date moved back.On Wed, 15 Oct, I proposed to cancel the order, and Zfurniture agreed to include free delivery and assembly, and that it would be delivered by Friday, 17 Oct. 17 Oct I called to learn status. It arrived too late to be delivered that day, so I proposed to cancel the order. Zfurniture then promised to hire someone to deliver Friday afternoon. The delivery arrived Friday afternoon, but the delivery man said he was not performing assembly. I called Zfurniture yet again, and they denied offering assembly, but would do it for $75. I disagreed and told them they owed me assembly. They said no. I threatened to cancel, but they said they would not refund $75 of my payment due to the delivery.I let them know I would provide appropriate feedback on the web.UPDATE: I opened the first box (they delivered 3), and it was black, vice the cream I ordered. I looked at the lables on the three boxes, and each was a different color. I called Z-furniture, they asked for time to figure out what happened. They called back to report they had delivered me three separate items, one of which was mine (and the correct color!). They agree to provide assembly of my chair if I would hold the other two items until the next day for pickup. They did come as promised the next day, and assemble my recliner, and picked up the errant deliveries.
