See other 1-star reviews. I came for a simple tire replacement. They tried to upsell me on a re-alignment. Red flag. I naively gave them the benefit of the doubt, and paid $500 to break my air conditioner. I have to buy a new car now. Avoid this place.

Great service and very reasonable prices.

One of my tires has been slowly leaking, and figured there was a nail. They took a good long look, including putting it in water, and couldnt find a nail. They replaced the valve stem just in case. No charge. Super nice, fast, Ill be coming back!!

Im very impressed by the mechanics of Best American Tires in Albany. I believe that they are the most skilled and honest mechanics Ive found in the East Bay.I replaced my engine oil, transmission oil, brake fluid, brake pads, and brake rotors here for two of my cars (a Toyota and a Honda). The first car was done perfectly, so I brought in my second car for its 100K mile maintenance. The owner/mechanics at Best American Tires are the best ones Ive found in the past 15+ years living in the East Bay.One time I brought in a Toyota for a tire sensor replacement and was ready to replace all four at the same time; however, they said only one of them needed to be replaced, so I was able to save 3 times the money I paid, which I wouldve had to spend if done at another shop.

These guys are friendly and provide great service in my experience. I have used them serval times for mounting and balancing tires.

Came by today to get my tire replaced and it was so quick and easy. I was in and out within half an hour! I called the day before, they ordered the tire and the next day they had it ready for me. Very friendly staff and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend and will use them again!

After half a month after give one star still have bad experience with tire but I got good service today came with flat tire and got free service, fast especialy got good explanation and my batery die. Brought in an old VW Beetle wheel that wasnt holding air. After a quick look they said the rim was too bent for it to hold air properly and the tire was fine. After my approval, they took a whack at it with a hammer and it held air like it was new and I was out of there within 10 minutes. Great guys and fast service.

Great service along with great prices. When your ready to leave youll be wondering how they stay in business with the low prices and the amount of time they give you with quality work. Im just hoping that itll continue the next time that I need there service again.

Hostile and rude. Threatened to take me to court. There are many great tire shops nearby, so dont bother with unpredictable reactionary people.

I originally asked for a used trailer tire. They didnt have any and I had agreed to buy a new tire for $70. When I rolled it over, he explained I had a passenger tire & that if I wanted a slightly used passenger tire he could install it for $40. Im happy he saved me money!

Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. I got a flat and went there expecting to buy a new tires, Saeed himself checked it out and noticed it was flat due to a manufacturing flaw. He fixed the flaw, aired up and reinstalled my wheel to my car for NO charge. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes, aired up tire, didnt pay a penny. Very satisfied. I recommend this spot for sure! Thanks Saeed and crew!

Got new rims for my truck for $100. After having him swap them out I realize that he didnt change the sensors. When I went back he told me tbat I didnt ask him too, but he us the professional. He then told me hed do it for an additional $60. After going down the road, they did it for $20. Sounds like this is not the first time this has happened. Wont go there again!

Cant believe how kind and helpful these guys are, and amazing prices on used and new. When I called in saeed was very helpful, even offering an incredibly cheap set of used tires he would be able to put on that very day if it was urgent, but utimately he recommended a new set and got a brand new set of 4 shipped in and put on my truck the very next day with a warranty and everything. Thanks again guys!

I went in to have tires changed on rims guy told me one of my sensors was missing in tire and said i need ro order one when he gave me old rims all sensors were on old rims when i said i need them installed he said i would have to come back next day and they still charged me i will never go to this shop again i was not the only one there unhappy with service they did not even gove a discount when tthey messed up so ended up going to diffrent shop and haveing to pay again went back next day and a new manager was there and newer guys i think it must be new crrw becouse old crew mever was like this

Ok, got new tires and rims on Craigslist for my truck, they needed to be balanced and he he was able to do it on a Sunday. He even gave me a discount. Instead of $40 he charged $35. But when asked about the sensors in the rim, he explained that they wouldnt work with out pulling mine out of the original wheels. I was reluctant because something didnt seem right. Two days later I went and saw Lorenzo at Americas Tire Company and he programed the sensors on the new wheels already on the truck (which he said wouldnt work) and we didnt have to pull the old ones off of the old rims - and at no extra charge. NEXT TIME - Americas Tire Company is where Ill gp!
