People are very friendly and helpful at Verizon in the Wal-Mart shopping center. Avoid the Verizon store on Fortuna! They are not helpful at all. Only there to make a sale.
Angel was great at answering all my questions about my new Razr. I appreciate not being rushed on decisions. Any further business I need Ill be coming to this location specifically for Angels assistance and knowledge. Verizon Corporate please buy him lunch, you have a good guy running your store.
Jaqueline was absolutely amazing! As an 18 year old. Having absolutely no idea about the phone process, she made it so much easier, she was super informative, helpful, and stayed a *while* after her shift was already over to help us out and make sure we were good to go with our new phones, never got frustrated or changed her tone, she went above and beyond. I would be able to recommend this store and services to anyone and have satisfaction in knowing they’d get everything they could want and need from a phone store!

Only one employee working and there was three customers in front of me. He did his best at multitasking and getting to each one of us. Wait time wasnt too bad considering it all and wait times are a fact of life now with Covid.

Bad servicetry another Verizon store
I went in with a simple request to remove a line from my plan. All I got was a sales pitch about how in just days my phone would no longer work and I just HAD to buy a new one ASAP. He decided I should be on a different plan, should upgrade my tablet, etc. My suspicion is that if they see gray hair they assume were an easy mark. Not so in my case, and upon later study I found everything he had told me in the store was false. I just wish I hadnt wasted 45 minutes listening to him, and then leaving without getting done what I needed. Which I did myself later that evening. Advice: stay far away from this store, find a real Verizon store instead. Im sure theyll probably respond to this, but I dont care. Youve been warned.

Liars x 10. Deceiving elderly people so as to sell new phones and services. Your phone wont work on the new 5G system so well give you a great ( rip off ) deal on another phone that wont work on 5G either. Not a Verizon corporate store so nothing customer service can do about it. They must get a good laugh comparing how they screwed over an individual. Hope they go out of business or Verizon pulls their license to sell. Edited 6/19/2019. After 3 calls to customer service I finally got through to a supervisor who understood what they were doing and she refunded for the accessories and forced the store location to effectively credit account for price of the phone. Thank you, Supervisor, for trying to right a wrong.
Helpful and knowledgeable staff, I needed a Fast charger for my Samsung Note and Daniel Robles took the time to explain to me the difference between chargers and which on best fits my needs, plus I have never had to wait for someone to tend to me like in larger stores, I highly recommend this store over the larger ones.

I only came her to represent their manipulative representation of thier unlimited plan. I bought it for 70$ a month and it turns out that the hotspot caps at 600kps, which is too slow to even open a PDF file. So slow that I feel I was lied to when they say unlimited. Yea its unlimited, at a rate so slow its like its 1991, too slow to watch a video and do anything except take 3 mins to open a web site. Wow, Ive been taken advantage of. Thx verizon.

Julian was very helpful with my tablet purchase. I explained that I didn’t have all day to waste ( my last experience at Verizon was at the other foothills location and I wasted 3 hours and I walked out empty handed!!!!!) he then assured me that i didn’t have to worry about that today. I was happily surprised at how thorough/knowledgeable he was and how effortless he made my purchase. His customer service also exceeded my expectations, the cherry that topped my experience was when he walked me to the door and wished me a good day. I typically do not write reviews but the service I was given was so outstanding I felt the need to share my experience. Thank you Julian!

I agree with Cynthia! Buyer beware! Make sure you carefully read all the fine print in the disclosure they ask you to sign . A line item states additional activation fees may apply They do in fact apply. In the amount of $100 in our case charged by verizon a week later. They also installed the glass screen protector without asking and without disclosing the non-refundable $54.95 fee. My mistake for signing my credit card charge before carefully reading . Also they calculated my monthly charges to be slightly over $100 for all devices. They are in fact over $145. And my past experience with verizon is fees rise continually as time goes on. BE CAREFUL with these people. Maybe consider another store or even service!

BUYER BEWARE! They will TAKE ADVANTAGE of non-savvy people. They added services and accessories to my bill without telling me about them or getting my approval. While I was upgrading my phone, the sales rep asked if I wanted their accessory bundle. I declined, showing him my current 4 year old phone which had no case or screen protector and was in near perfect condition. During all the clicking, clicking, clicking involved in whatever ridiculous process they go through to upgrade a phone, he walks around the counter and comes back with a screen protector. It came time to pay and he starts telling me the details on the screen protector: how to get it changed if it breaks, you can get it replace for free an unlimited amount of times, etc. And Im sitting here wondering why hes telling me this since I already said no. I asked if it came with the phone or something (nicely trying to ask why hes giving me this screen protector) and then low and behold theres a $59.99 charge for a screen protector on my bill. I stopped and told him I didnt want the screen protector: I already said I didnt need a screen protector. He sort of grumbles and takes the charge off. Now Im suspicious, but weve been there for over an hour so we get things over with and go on our way. When I got home, I pulled out the receipt and started Googling the charges to see what I actually got charged for. Surprise! Theres a charge labeled Redux single line membership for $29.99. Its a service to dry your phone for you if it gets wet. First of all, the sales rep didnt say ONE WORD about this. He didnt even TRY to sell this to me, he just put it on my bill. Second, the phone I picked is water resistant/proof! So this was LITERALLY an underhanded move to sneak more money out of us! INCREDIBLE! But Im sorry readers, the story doesnt stop there. I go back to the store to confront them and have this charge removed. I explain that he didnt even give me a sales pitch, I was completely unaware that I had been sold this service, and that I didnt want this service. They take it off, refund my money, but slip in one last slight: under the reason for return, they listed Buyers Remorse. This is RUDE and means theyre not taking responsibility for their deceptive, UNETHICAL actions. If this had happened to my mother or someone who is less suspicious, these people would have sold her and charged her for everything they could. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
Buyer beware!!! My husband went in for just a new phone and the sales person told him that with the new phone he got a glass screen protector, a new tablet and unlimited data. This bothered my husband all weekend so he called Verizon this morning only to find out this was not true. He made a trip back to the store this morning and returned the tablet and was charged an additional restocking fee. Just be very careful.
Victor was very helpful knowledgeable & above all patient & went a little above & beyond 2 make sure we left feeling satisfied w/our experience concerning our purchase our device our options w/the store the Verizon service & our unsatisfactory experience w/different location store & in app communications w/Verizon previously in the day that left us w/misinformation broken promises waisted time frustration & almost severed business w/Verizon Victor you saved the day for more than 1 interested party that day! Writing this review in behalf of a client. The agency mislead my client who is elderly and speaks spanish only. They signed her up for 4 lines under contract. She had specifically asked not to be put into a contract but when she tried to cancel the contracts they wanted her to pay the retail price. They also told her that she only could cancel if something was wrong with the phones during the 14 day grace period. I am really disappointed that a local company is treating people in our community this way.

They failed to disclose that they are a franchise and charge fees you would not have to pay for at a corporate store. They are mostly interested in up selling plans and equipment.
This is the absolute worst store! First off please know you are not buying from Verizon. You are not able to take anything back to a real Verizon store. You will not get anything back you accidentally buy. My friend was 90 years old and they talked her into buying a new contract with a hum. This is a device to use on your car. What part if 90 do you not hear! 90 years old and she hasnt drove in years. When i went back with her to get this straighten out, the district manager was in the store. He thought it was just fine that his employees were talking people into this product that charges $10. a month. Again its only for a car. She does not drive. She is 90 years old. I have tried calling customer service they hug up on me 3 times. I went to the real Verizon store in our area and they said, because the store is not a real Verizon store (although it looks like a real Verizon store) that they are not able to do anything. So i am back to square one the store we are in, the one you are looking at the reviews. In the parking lot at Walmart off 32nd St Yuma, Az.They are calling Verizon and after waiting for over 1/2 hour for Verizon to answer the phone. They are now going to charge her $115. to get rid of something they never should have sold her. Again, she is 90 years old. Omg how do people live with themselves.
The sales staff is always helpfully, but they do have personall turnover that seems to be higher than most businesses of this type.

Absolutely disappointed with this store! The manager lied about everything with our account! He talked us all into upgrading and being on the Edge program. Months later we found out that he DID NOT sign us up for the Edge program. He has lied about everything!! The other employees are great but the manager is a liar! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!!

Went in and had all my issues resolved! Definitely making this my regular store.
Employee lied about something free. Went in to get a charger only and they talked me into getting one of their free Samsung tablets. Long story short, lied about all what Id have to pay and didnt disclose all info. Then denied the return cuz it was after 14 days and billing cycle is 30. I had extra $100 on my bill with all the fees plus monthly bills. I cancelled contract rather than keep paying their salary. Not doing business there any longer.If I need any other Verizon dealings will take my business to the one by Frys or the one by the mall.
