Good place overall whether you want to bring your own parts in or have them order the parts for you! I highly reccomend to call ahead of time because of their busy schedule. Other than that, the prices are good and both Ray and Christine were very helpful everytime 👍🏻

We brought our car in because of an engine misfire and they were one of the few places who didn’t charge for diagnostics. We were expecting to have to wait all day and have at LEAST spark plugs fixed but Ray took 5 minutes and came back and told us it was just some bad gas lol. We love finding honest business people who are quick and helpful (and we were lucky to not be charged $130 for the 5 minute check like some businesses are trying to do...) thanks Ray If we are in town and need anything else done we will definitely be back.

My wife and I were driving back from CA when our check engine light flashed, then stayed on. Had a previous issue with this about a month back, but needed to take it in to get fixed ASAP. We called a million other auto repairs and got in the fastest at advanced auto. As soon as we walked in the door Ray dropped everything to read the code on my car. He came back in 5 minutes and told me he honestly didn’t think it was anything more than just bad gas, when we were thinking it was an engine misfire. He recommended some fuel additive and told us that should clear it up. Not to mention it was free of charge when I was expecting to pay a pretty penny. Very honest and professional business, if we ever need anything else done we’ll come back here for sure.

The past 3 times Ive taken my vehicle in the service has been terrible. I was not informed of additional issues my vehicle had and the quality of service has gone way downhill in recent years. I am looking for a new mechanic as Im tired of dumping money into a vehicle I would have sold had I been informed of all the repairs it needs.

Great, honest service. Its hard to find these prices and genuine care for what they do anywhere else. They dont charge for diagnostics and the mechanics will give you their honest opinion. I would definitely recommend.I didnt have any problems. For the people who didnt have great experiences here, you just need to state exactly what kind of car you have, the mileage, and whats wrong. Then be very specific on what you want them to do and to call you before they start anything.

Ray is top-notch and an honest mechanic! Hell repair only what needs to be repaired and if he has to go beyond that he will contact the customer and let the customer make the decision. He is extremely meticulous so dont expect your vehicle to be done immediately, unless it is a minor repair. He will work with you the customer to ensure you have a high level of satisfaction and return for his mechanical services. He is a former Marine who believes in total honesty and integrity.

Was asked make and model of vehicle to get some work done. Was given a price over the phone. Dropped off vehicle, come back to pick it up and the price doubled. Excuse was that was the price after they put the VIN# in the computer, then why didnt they just ask for the VIN the first time. Other than that the work done was good.

I would drive hundreds of miles to bring my vehicles to this shop. They always stand behind their work and if they can’t do it they will tell you where to take it to.

Good prices, honest, helpful and friendly employees, and appears to be a family run business. I took my car in for an inspection and accidently left my wallet on the front seat with $2400 in it. They gave me back the keys I hopped in and found my wallet, checked it and it was all there. In 2018 how many places is that gonna happen?

My cars AC compressor failed unexpectedly. After a lot of research and a many quotes, a coworker recommended this little gem of a store. After talking with Ray and the receptionist we knew we were in good hands. They were both such friendly people and we could tell they were genuine. The prices they gave us for repairs were reasonable. The work ended up taking longer than expected, and originally quoted, but Ray stuck to the original quote which I totally didnt expect. They made a lifetime customer and I will recommend them in the future!

Ray is very reasonable with his prices. I have been taken my cars to him for the last four years and has never had an issue with the repairs on the cars. I highly recommend this place.

I had some vibration that sounded like the engine had a bad bearing. They test drove it with me and checked out the drive train and determined it is a slightly worn front drive shaft that in their opinion does not need replacing. I feel that they are honest and capable and will go there again when we are in yuma.

Ray is a great guy. Doesnt overcharge, has come out to help me on the side of the road more than once and has always saved me money if he could.

I drove 200 miles round trip from Quartzsite (plus 200 more to pick it up) to have a issue taken care of on my truck. I explained that you can only hear the noise on the first start up of the day (cold start) and for approximately 10 to 20 seconds. After 4 days of DRIVING my truck around they say nothing is wrong. They listened to nothing I said.... maybe because Im a woman??.... Long story short.... it was the hydraulic timing adjusters (which was diagnosed on the first cold start at another shop) and was covered under warranty.

My RV broke down in Yuma and someone recommended that I take it to these guys. I was sure glad I did! They had me up in running after getting the part overnighted. They are reasonably priced and would use them again. THANKS Advanced!

I went for a Uber inspection. He had it done within 15 minutes and did not charge for it. Also had a cute dog that came and sat with me while I waited.

Hard to find a good mechanic that takes pride in there work and get it done the first time right. And very clean when working on customers vehicles.

I enquired of Arizona Sands RV Park in Yuma who they could recommend for brakes that had just started making a grinding sound on my 1 ton tow vehicle. Advanced was the response, Ray is the owner. An hour later a long term RVer stopped unsolicited in front of my rig to recommend Ray at Advanced...An appointment was made and Ray completed replacing front pads and rotors In 3 hours including waiting for parts to be delivered. He thought he could save the rotors but on close inspection by both of us, decided against it..At the same appointment Ray, at my request, inspected my 2 batteries. Both failed.and were replaced. They were original equipment, an unheard of 12 years old..Ray did not try to oversell. The price was reasonable..Advanced is a convenient 2 blocks from the biggest shopping centre in town, a good place to kill time although I waited at Advanced. The premises are not fancy. I prefer to act on local recommendations rather than national chains..Totally satisfied and never wondering if I was taken advantage of..SteveKamloops, B.C.
