I had unusual situation with a Hertz car rented in Boston. Hertz had made the reservation for me. Mr. Mott, lead at the store, was very helpful assisting me get the right work done. Hertz had scheduled an alignment job, but when I told Mr. Mott about the front shimmy above 45MPH, he knew I needed balance. He asked if car was pulling, and I affirmed it was not. Mr. Mott is management material. Thanks Monro! Youve got a real asset in Mr. Mott.

They wouldnt even let me pay for my tire to be patched! The entire time they were incredibly kind and personable. Someone called to say that they had a tire issue and the first words out of the man answering the phones mouth were are you okay. Monros will be the first place I call whenever I have an issue in the future.

AVOID this place! Theyll scam you for parts and service you dont need. My daughter had just started college down the street from here when she said the car started to make noise and shimmy a bit when breaking. I sent her to Monro since it was within walking distance of school, seemed to have good reviews (faked?), and I hoped theyd treat her right. They told her she needed all 4 brakes replaced, pads and rotors. But looking back at the service records in the glove compartment when she returned home, the car definitely only needed rear brakes, the fronts had almost brand new pads and rotors put on less than a year and 10k miles ago. The vast majority of that 10k were highway miles so there was NO way the fronts needed new pads and rotors. Shady as heck, go somewhere else.

Needed my tire repaired today, the technicians were super nice, super helpful, and seemed to really care about doing a quality job with courtesy.The repair looks excellent, and I will come to Monroe Auto Service the next time I need work done!

Roland [mgr] above and beyond what was called for but would not give up till i was pleased .Came in on his day off just to get my car going for that day.I came in the next day did my rear brake Dodge neon 2005 outstanding job.Needed a pedal adjusted came in the next day took me FIRST THING 10 min i was all set. These guys did great work on my car, fixed my brakes perfectly.Just make sure you don’t forget anything expensive while you’re there or maybe the next day it will just disappear even if you called them to put it aside.

Would highly recommend! I stopped in for a hole in my tire. They very quickly removed a nail, filled my tires with air, and didnt even charge me! The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. Most places would have charged even for a small job like this. But they were fair about it and for that reason I will go back for other car issues that come up. Very impressed with the service I received today!

Easily the best place to get your car fixed. Been here several times as a desperate and clueless college student and they always take incredible care to help me out. Above and beyond any service. Had a rupture in my tire and asked them to mount and balance my new tire I bought from tire rack. Job was done cleanly and professionally on my low profile summer sports tires as can be seen in the pic (no scratches/rashes). Would highly recommend this shop. They take pride in their work. Iam very picky when it comes to mechanics who handle my car. The mechanics were very friendly, they are genuine people just like you and me.. Not like the other stores where you are told to wait or fix appointment or come back.. No matter how busy they are..they will attend you and fix it right first time.I would highly recommend this garage.. I have been to this locations many times and each time have had a very positive experience! The employees are very courteous and knowledgeable and happy to answer questions and/or address concerns. I had a full front & rear brake job and it was completed in one hours time which I thought was amazing! I appreciate quality customer service and quality work and the Park Avenue Monro Muffler offers both! Thank you for a job well done!

No communication, incomplete job, overcharged. They forgot that they did my car every time I asked about it. No update phone call. Did not use the oil grade I requested. Did not fix dragging plate on bottom of car. Car still pulling left after “alignment” and “balance”. Charged nearly $300. Went to Belmont St location to get the job done after being disappointed at the Park Ave location. Original appt was at Belmont St location but their tire machine was down. They seem to have a higher standard of service than the Park Ave location. I will not be back here.

I had a great experience at the Monroe tire on park ave. We needed one tire mounted, the process was so easy because of them.I brought my car down and was greeted by one of the technicians at the door. The person behind the counter, I presume was the manager, was very polite and assured us our car will go right in. He called the tech to take it in right away. I asked them to grind down some curb scuffs on the rim, they did it without a problem. The tire was mounted quickly, our spare and Jack was placed back in its cargo area for us.Driving home I noticed the tire light was reset and the ride was smooth, couldnt have had a better experience anywhere else. I would highly recommend tire service from them, since that is the only service I had from them. I will come back and try them out for brakes and oil changes. I am a legit real customer, support our city, these guys care!

The first time I found out about Monro was for my girlfriends Toyota RAV4. Harr Toyota tried to change the oil, but the filter was stuck and couldnt get it off. Roland was very professional, knowledgeable and was able to fix the issue in minutes.I decided to come back and bring my 2016 WRX STI, same day I met Mike. Since then, I have come here on multiple occasions for wheel/tire, brakes, suspension, and exhaust jobs. Mike and Roland are two of the people I definitely trust with my STI. With cars like these, its hard to find trusted mechanics, but these guys are an easy choice.

Had an appointment (scheduled a week in advance) to get my tires changed but was turned away because all their technician left early. Waste of time.

Michael is very welcoming. I had a nail in my tire. He checked it immediately and very carefully. Explained me the procedure too. It was a quick service. I am very satisfied and definitely come again.

Ive been going to this Monro location for a long time. Roland has always taken good care of me, in the way that you really want a mechanic to; giving you the honest truth, even when thats hard to hear sometimes. Hell always give me the best option, as well as the option I can afford best, which havent always been the same. Between him, Jose, Joey, and the rest of the crew, I know my car will be well taken care of, and so will I. Theyve never done me wrong, and if youre honest and polite with them, I think youll have a similar experience.

I just pulled into Monro On park ave because my back tire would not take air from one of those air machines at the self serve gas stations. It is Sunday and I couldn’t think of anywhere else to get a mechanic to help and they were open. They were very busy. I asked the man at the desk how long it would be to take a look at it and he immediately had me pull up to the open bay. He checked the valve put air in my tire and said “you are all set!” It didn’t take more than three minutes! And he didn’t charge me. Now that is service! Thank you so much for your kindness! I will recommend Monroe to everyone.

I brought my car in for an oil change that I just purchased, they could have done the oil change but instead were honest and told me that the oil change was done on October 1st because the person that did my pride oil change before I bought the car marked the filter. I have found my goto location for my cars. I drive older model BMWs that need plenty of maintenance. I will be coming back to them again and again. They treat you right and give you a fair price. But as you know, price is nothing unless there is good quality service. These guys deliver.Ive lived here for 4 year and Im just discovering them. Im so particular about my cars that I normally do all my own work. Nice to have a spot that will allow me to put down my wrenches and still know it will be done right.

Called them at 4oclock for my tires that they did not even have in stock. They had the right tires there within a half hour and had the tires on before 6oclock. Very professional, courteous, and affordable. Great place.

I went there because my gas tank wouldnt open & I thought I needed an oil change. The Manager (?) was very nice, honest & didnt even charge me for opening the gas tank.He also checked my oil, and said I didnt need an oil change yet. I recommend this place. Its affordable, honest, and legit.

Amazing experience. A friend of mine had gone here for brake issues and all was resolved; amazing and timely service. I got an industrial screw stuck in my tire and figured I would see if they could help. I had called 20 mins before closing, in a frantic, in need of a patch. They said they were more than happy to stay a few minutes later for me to get my problem fixed. They were done within 10 minutes of arrival. Very pleasant workers and did not complain about the time. They were seriously more than happy to help me although I was cutting it close to closing. I will definitely pay them a visit if I have any other issues in the future. I will be forever thankful. Will definitely go back again and I recommend them highly.. I want to add a little more to the story. About a year ago I had a bad accident caused by someone. After my car was fixed the auto body place said to have a tie rod fixed.I took it to this place.went back to pick up the car in 2 hours and he would not fix it, because he said thats not what I need . He told me there was another problem. And it wasnt the tie rod.. he diagnosed it as the rack and pinion problem, because of the accident.I have heard more stories of people getting ripped off, and being charged for something they didnt need.This management was honest, and that is well-appreciated especially, in the times we are living.I had to go back to the insurance company back to the auto body place. Spellane Auto body told me, the manager did diagnose it right.Honesty and integrity means, a lot to me. You cant go wrong having your car repaired at this place.

Went in for Tire rotation and nails in tires. They took me in right away. The service members were friendly and knowledgable. They also went the extra mile to fix air in my spare tire causing light to stay.

The guys at this location in Worcester were awesome. Fixed all screw ups that auburn made. I will never go to Auburn again. The staff is clueless and have no idea what they are doing.

Blew out my tire while traveling to a wedding 6 hours away and 8 months pregnant. These guys agreed to plug my tire an hour before closing on a clearly busy day and could not have been nicer about it. Excellent service.

They give you a price at the door then when it comes time to pay the price isnt the same. Crazy tho because I had the same job done 2 weeks before and the price was what they told me over the phone and what he told me at the counter. When asked why he didnt know his own prices. Was given a lie its because you have low profiles. He knew this before hand because I gave him my size before hand. Went to Firestone and the did the job for $18 and they did my alignments for $50. Had the same job done here last year for $110.

I only recently became aware of my need for brakes because of a tell tale squeal while going forward and backward. I went in search of a place to get my brakes checked and Monroe on Park came up. I drove in unannounced and was greeted with professional courtesy. Jared and his team looked at my car and was able to SHOW me what the problem was and fix it then and there having my car done within the hour!!!! On another visit, my tire pressure light was on and I needed an oil change. I was treated with the same professional expertise. My oil was changed, tire pressure fixed, and most importantly I now have a place I can trust with all my car maintenance issues!!! I had to get a right tie rod replaced on my car. Jared, the manager should be proud of his staff. As fate would have it, the mechanic (Roland) who inspected my car has the same make & model. He found that my rear frame was in need of replacement. He shared his findings with me and then replaced the tie rod. I was pleasantly surprised when they told me I did not need the alignment because my cars steering was already aligned and they would just be taking my money if they did it. With so many car repair places trying to rip customers off, it was a nice change. It is SO hard to find HONEST repair places. I would recommend this Monro to anyone.
