We bought a really nice high-end dishwasher kitchen aid that was backordered and they put my name on one that was coming in at the end of the month. I included the installation delivery also. They called before the end of the month to let me know the delivery person would call to schedule. He called and delivered withing a day or two. The delivery person was very professional and did a great job. He was in and out quickly, cleaned up his mess, and left us with a great dishwasher.

Always have a great experience shopping at Famous Tate. Sales staff are knowledgeable and efficient. Recently bought a upright freezer and it was delivered in just a few days! Plus, the took the broken one away for just a nominal fee. Highly recommend!

Disappointing. We are new to the area and wanted to use a local chain for appliances, so we tried here. Immediately after entering, we were greeted by a manager who, after I mentioned appliances, said it would be a 3-4 month wait, so choose something fast.Right away we felt pressured. Browsed around, then switched to a salesman who said the same thing. The whole experience was rushed, pressured, and abrupt. Eventually we settled on appliances, and as we started doing paperwork, I was asking questions about things like delivery, installation, required accessories, price match policy, etc. Eventually the salesman threw his pen down and said Youre free to go elsewhere, you know.So I did. I went to a big box store and had the exact 3-4 month wait appliances delivered to my house two days later. There may be appliance shortages, but nowhere near as bad as this place wants you to think. High pressure, touchy, on edge. Would not recommend.

I shopped around locally for a specific set of washer and dryer based on best price and how quick they could be delivered. Famous Tate, hands down, had the best deal. I was able to see them in the store, which no where else had available to look at, and they were delivered 2 days later. I was looking at at least a month out of delivery everywhere else. They were able to offer a 5 year warranty which was also important to me since it was such a major purchase. Heidi was so kind and helpful to us as well. They will be my first stop next time I’m looking for appliances and I will continue to send people that way.

Really great sales people, they give you the info you ask for and dont try to up sell everything. The delivery went smoothly. They had our new washer hooked up and running in about 10 minutes.

Shopping online for a new fridge after my large refrigerator stopped working. I wanted a very small refrigerator to get buy for a couple of weeks until the large one is repaired (bought from a different store) ... while looking the chat window popped up and asked if I needed any help. To my surprise it was a real person. In 20 minutes, I bought and paid for the small refrigerator and delivery was the next day. The real person in the chat window helped me with what was in stock. I have bought appliances before with famous tate and highly recommend the company to anyone.

This current experience was no different than the previous ones, and we were very appreciative of the help we received, and them letting us know which models were available to deliver the soonest.

We decided to replace our refrigerator and were advised by a repair person to shop at Famous Tate Appliance. This was in Jan of 2021, we were aware of possible delays due to Covid-19. We called Famous Tate that month, our refrigerator was delivered mid-June. We were back North for the summer and friends were there for the delivery, all went smoothly. We are pleased with the service we got dealing with this company, personal was very helpful and friendly and were honest with us about the delays. They kept us informed as to when it may arrive in their warehouse. It was a smooth transaction for us and I would recommend them to any friend or person who would ask.

Purchased an over range microwave online for our parents who live in Florida (we live in Illinois). Online experience was efficient and the Chat assistance provided was very helpful. Assistance on chat was immediate without a long wait as is customary these days with customer service. They were able to pull up my parents original microwave- stove purchase from 2004. There were a few minor glitches with scheduling delivery and installation but nothing out of the ordinary that was not resolved quickly. Phone conversations with Heidi were pleasant and she quickly addressed any issues or questions I had. The only thing that could be a complaint was that the microwave digital lighting did not match the stovetop range as was requested, but my parents did not mind.We would definitely recommend Famous Tate to others who live in the area with regards to this particular purchase experience!

I was in need of a stove mine broke the day before Thanksgiving! I ordered one from another store but it kept getting pushed back I also bought a full size freezer which was pushed back as well! Carlos was my sales associate. Told him what I wanted he said we have a freezer it can get delivered Saturday. He found a floor model for the stove stove perfect condition. Both were delivered Saturday! I’m so happy! I will definitely recommend Famous Tate to friends & family!

Just bought a new house in the area that did not come with a refrigerator. I scoured the web for my preferred finish, size and capabilities. The only place I could find one was Famous Tate. I was unsure about making such a large purchase from a company I had never heard of but they not only had what I wanted, they had it below the price I had budgeted and they accommodated my schedule for delivery. They far exceeded my expectations.

Greatest experince ever purchasing my GE CAFE appliances. As an authorized dealer for specific brands they offer rebates and prices that beat the competition. I had originally purchased the same appliances at Home Depot but even with their discounts the price was still over our budget, then found Famous Tate and had to go into the store. Once there Heidi took care of us, showed us models and found the best deals for us directly from the company. All in all our purchase at Famous Tate was nearly $2,500 less, we got updates weekly on the status of our delivery, the crew that delivered, unpacked and checked all of the appliances and ensured all parts were there, and Heidi was a true professional and showed us that customer service goes a long ways when investing big money on quality products. Really nice people that took care of my needs a small chest freezer called them up said yep we got one going to be down there 15 minutes paid for it picked it up they loaded it in my pickup truck and I was on my way. Could have not been in the store no more than 12 minutes they had it waiting for me I highly recommend famous Tates appliances.

Got a great deal 12/2/19 at the Famous Tate store in Winter Haven on a new Frigidaire refrigerator with the textured finish (no finger or handprints-yippee!). Carlos Ortiz was our Salesman (see his smiling face below). He was great!! He listened to everything we said, answered all our questions, was very kind and funny and directed us to the perfect fridge at a great price! They delivered, no charge, on schedule to us in Haines City, and removed our old fridge (for $9) for us. The delivery guys were very nice and made quick work of the exchange. Even though we have lived in Winter Haven for decades, we had never shopped at Famous Tate. Our first experience will definitely not be our last!! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. When we wanted our new stove to be delivered as soon as possible, they reviewed their stock and presented us with several options. Delivery was within two days, just in time to celebrate Thanksgiving.

I consider myself a comparison shopper. I went to check out washer/dryer sets and the salesperson Heidi was very helpful and not high pressure. I have compared the pricing of the models at both Lowes and Home Depot. I plan to go back to Famous Tate tomorrow and place my order. I feel like that is the best deal andI do not have to worry about delivery, installation and removal.

I sometimes expect a large dealer like this to put on the hard sell pitch. Our experience was nothing like that. The salesman was helpful, knowledgeable about the differences between refrigerator models we were looking at and made pertinent and welcome suggestions. We had shipped earlier at the big box store. Famous Tates pricing was comparable if not better, they had a wide variety and nicely displayed. Delivery was prompt and they charged a reasonable price for water hook up and disposal of our used refrigerator.

Thanks to Covid-19 I purchased an entire kitchen of appliances without being in the store and seeing any of them. They are all GE Profile, and all work well and look great! A big thanks to Bob who helped me find matching appliances that met my criteria. I purchased before the severe supply issue and my remodel is almost complete.

Our 10 year old Samsung refrigerator needed to be replaced, so we started shopping around. With Covid-19 causing shortages On everything, we asked at every store about items that were currently in stock. I stopped at Famous Tate during my lunch break and was cheerfully greeted by Mr. Napoleon Mariner. I told him the items I was looking for in my new refrigerator and he had his stock sheet in hand and showed me the floor models. I asked which ones were available immediately. He went to his computer to find out. My husband met me back there after work and we purchased an LG 4 door refrigerator. That was on Wednesday evening, and our appliance was delivered that Friday. I am extremely pleased with the professionalism of the store employees and the delivery men. They removed my old refrigerator and had the new one set up in 30 minutes! I called them after my refrigerator broke down. I first went to Lowes as we are not suppose to be going out.. I found one that I liked but was told it would be 2 to 3 weeks before I could get it...that being said I called a couple other places and was told the same thing....a friend told me about Famous Tate and I called and I had the pleasure of dealing with Napoleon in the winter haven store...he sent me model numbers for me to go online and look at and was so patient and kind...he said if I found one it could be delivered by Friday! I found one and it was delivered by friday...so.long Lowes for NOT caring about people .....

Great Experience and Customer Service! I had a tight space with a 24 wall oven that I never thought I would find a replacement for without redoing my kitchen. Not only did they find me one, they gave me a choice of three!Installer was awesome, very careful, and cleaned up after himself! Recommended!

Had looked at Lowes and Best Buy. BB sales lady gave me wrong info regarding the outlet required for unitized washer/dryer. Heidi at Famous Tate gave me correct info and just happened to have s scratch/dent unit that saved $200. Delivery crew was early by almost 90 minutes, polite, tidy and efficient.Ill be sure to check Famous Tate out again next time I need any of the items they sell before I go to the big box stores.

Our whole experience with Famous Tates was wonderful. We started with Chris on the showroom floor and ended with the delivery by Willie. A followup appointment with Doug was quickly made to fix one little glitch that occurred. Everyone we dealt with was personable and anxious to help in any way they could. Went to Famous Tate looking for a washer/ dryer. Great place to shop. Good selection, and the sales staff was helpful but not overbearing. We shopped around and the prices were the best. Free delivery and installation. Also, these guys donate quite a bit to the community, and I like that. Highly recommended.

Went to pick out our new refrigerator on Friday, had it on Saturday. The tracking app on the order delivery confirmation is just great. I could keep track of where the truck was and approximate delivery time. Driver called when they were on their way to the house to advise how long we had and start emptying our current refrigerator. Everything was great!!

Great experience. Other places were a 3 week out delivery date for our kitchen stove. Famous Tates same price was able to deliver the next day. Salesman, Bob Van Dyne, and Manager were wonderful. Would highly recommend going there for all appliances and mattresses.

After Irma, half of Winter Haven was shut down. I own a rental property there, and a power surge blew out the stove one day after the storm. The next day, my tenants got a boil water notice. Lowes could not deliver for two weeks. Famous Tate delivered and hooked up a new stove in one day. Thanks Napoleon, for going the extra mile!
