I have braids, I was in the market for some durags and hair products to maintain my hair. Normally when I go places I’m dressed up but today I was in my work clothes. When I came in the owner gave me a mean look and didn’t greet me at all. She continued to help other people… I waited about 15 minutes before I left, I was highly disappointed. I heard about Pretty Tress through a friend and was SO excited when she opened her location on 13th & Hillside. Every time I step through her doors I am welcomed and feel like a valued customer! I realized I didn’t purchase enough hair for a style so I was panicking and contacted the owner and she came in ON AN OFF day, just to open the store for me for a 5 minute sale! I came in on the last day before her moving locations I had heard about this place but I hadnt been in yet so I decided it was a good time to visit. The owner was super nice I actually think we spend a good hour talking about wigs, black owned businesses and a bunch of other stuff. She also has all of the adore colors which was my main reason going. I left with a bunch of stuff and the conversation was great as well!

This shop has many options that I haven’t seen in any others before and there are always amazing sales! Not to mention it is Black-owned!
