BMW of Wichita offers quality vehicles as well as quality service. My first positive experience here was due to a free oil change they offered me, as well as an adjustment for my vehicles recall, if I recollect correctly. My most recent experience was equally satisfying. My key battery was nearly depleted, so I made a quick call to their parts department. (Which was quick to answer) I told them I was just getting off work, and needed a battery. The gentleman took my vehicles information, and had the battery ready for me. Not only did I have a minimal disruption in my busy schedule, I wasnt charged for the replacement battery either. I am very happy with BMW of Wichita.I would recommend this for your parts and maintenance needs. I can only assume the sales atmosphere is of equal quality.

I researched several Luxury SUVs. I decided on the BMW X3 Hybrid. I walked into BMW of Wichita and met Lindsey. That was the start of a great day. She showed me the vehicle I picked out on their fantastic website. I loved the vehicle at once. The service I received from Lindsey and others at BMW was great. They answered my questions and explained the electric portion of the vehicle in great detail. The paperwork process was efficient and went quickly. I would recommend them to anyone. Good afternoon, this was the very worst car purchasing experiance I have ever had and I will never do business with BMW/Mini of Wichita ever again or recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from this company. I started the process on 15 Nov 20 and finally received my 2019 Mini Cooper Clubman JCW on 29 Jan 2020. Poor communication from the sales rep and sales mananger, I has to request continuouly request updates, they do not provide any information without my requesting updates. The dealership could not find a way to work with my credit union so even though I had financing ready they could npot find a way to work the funds transfers. This forces me to use the dealer’s financing option which added another credit inquiry negatively affecting my credit scores since I already had received financing from my credit union. Additionally the paperwork when finally recieved has numerous errors and had to be redone two more times before it was finaly correct. Then it took from 4 Jan 20 when the financing was complete until 29 Jan to receive the vehicle, I had to ask many time to get a delivery date and it still was delivered a day later than expected based on the shipping order. The car arrived and was not clean and once inspected while washing had numerous poorly completed touch ups to the paint (very poor work for a supposed high end dealership, a little buffing might have helped a little, very poor attention to detail). I did receive a call from a general manager after the credit union financing issues could not be resolved but was not offered any incentive or offers to keep my business and nothing after refinancing with the dealership.Poor customer service, no incentives, poor communication, extremely long process, ZERO incentives. I rate this at ZERO StarsOver the last 10 years I have bought 4 Mini Coopers from 3 other dealers and none were this bad!Extremely Disatisfied!Peter J. Houst, USAF Retired

My husband and I ordered an X5 M50i. The entire process was extremely simple. Michael Ulrich assisted us, from first meet and test drive, to order placement with all the options we wanted, to updates, to picking up the car and finishing off paperwork. He is now on call for me and has been wonderful as I learn all the features (and occasionally forget something and need a bit of help). There are a LOT of features and tech. I highly recommend Michael and Walser in Wichita!!! He explains things thoroughly, yet quickly and is prompt in all inquiries. We did check nationally on price comparisons for our vehicle and the local prices are below the prices in other locations! That is huge bonus for anyone local to Kansas..no need to look anywhere else. We have the best service and prices right here. I recommend Michael Ulrich and Walser for anyone in the market for a vehichle!

I went into the dealership planning of buying a X3 M competition or just a X3 M. Thankfully they had both in stock and offered me a test drive in the X3 M. Michelle was recommended to me from the Walser Audi dealership. She was super nice and upfront with me on BMW. The M models are not for everyone and I found this out fast. The car was beautiful and FAST. Just to fast. Michelle recommended I try the X3 M40i. I fell in love instantly. It was exactly what I was looking for, and if it had not been for Michelle, I would not have found this out. We built a new one and started the order process. The order took about 6 weeks and I am loving my BMW. Michelle was awesome through the whole process including the final signing of papers. I couldnt be happier. Thank you BMW of Wichita.

Since moving to Wichita in late 2019, Ive utilized the service department at Walser/BMW Wichita on several occasions. Ive usually worked initially with Christian, but Austin has also assisted me. And Joel has often provided the hands-on work on my vehicle. I just cant say enough about these three guys and their consistently exceptional customer service, from explaining everything to me in detail to Joels actually (and patiently) showing me what was needed and accomplished to service my vehicle (Im afraid I know just enough to be dangerous when it comes to auto mechanics). I sincerely appreciate all of them and their attention to establishing and maintaining very thorough and generous customer relations. And I think hiring such capable and personable staff also speaks to Walsers commitment.

Potential service customers be aware, this is a dealership where the service department cannot be trusted. I came in with my 5 series to have my parking brake recoded because I installed new actuators myself but because BMW you have to visit a dealership to get rid of the warning message. These guys tried to present a $1100 bill for an EMF module, this was also before labor costs would be factored in. I refused the service. Next day I contacted German Motors works in Wichita, theyre located on Central Ave, that is where I was able to take my car in, get recoded and I was on my way in less than 10 minutes. Best part about it? It costed me $0.I also had a part that I ordered over the phone prior to my visit, I was very detailed about what I needed, they ordered what they said was the right part, it was wrong. I stood and stared out the window for nearly 30 minutes while a guy TRIED to help me out. Ill give him credit, he actually cared to help me.Id also like to add, the employees around the dealership are not friendly, I tried to say hi to 2 people, I was ignored both times, probably cause I wasnt there to buy a car.I will never return to this dealership, and I would recommend others to stay far, far away.

She worked with me from the start selecting the exact options for my vehicle through ordering and delivery. She constantly communicated with me providing updates as my vehicle was being built. Horrible experience. Service department is no doubt corrupt. Service manager (Dave) is no more then a glorified used car salesman with zero credibility. Had dealer make a key for my 335I. Key ended up being defective of which they refused to admit or take any sort of responsibility, nor would they issue a refund for the defective key. I had a private mechanic perform a scan of the ecu in which revealedDiagnosis: Key with number 256 that is inserted in key slot is defective.Solution: Replace Key.Rather then acknowledge this Diagnosis, this service manager had the his mechanic tamper with the programming of the ECU to block the next future 2 keys that only the dealer could make for the vehicle at $400 each. This was his attempt to make the key appear as it was blocked rather then defective. Keep in mind only the dealer can block these keys, the computer allows up to 10 keys to be made for this vehicle, whether they be blocked or active. The only reason to block a key is if it were lost or stolen. You do NOT pre-block a key in the ecu if it doesnt exist and hasnt been created yet. The dealer claims to be the only one with the ability to block keys and to determine when each key was blocked is as simple as reviewing the service records from the dealer. I requested a copy of service records, in return they gave me a copy of only the warranty services only. Which includes warranty covered services performed on this vehicle, not the entire service record that would show when each key in the ecu was created or blocked. The manager knew the service records would prove that he was responsible for tampering with the ecu programming (Felony effense) therefore he refused to provide me with a copy.. With this being said, they claimed my options were to buy 3 (total of 4 keys costing over $1,600) more keys at $400 each and the 3rd one SHOULD work or i can replace the CAS security key module that would come with 2 new keys and cost over $1,200. I had them replace the CAS for $1,200. You would think this would be the end of it but no, they call to tell me the CAS was done but now need to replace the steering column for another $1,200 because of the steering lock being defective. At this point I made it very clear that i have had it with their lies and BS. I refused to replace the steering column and told them I will come up there & fix it myself. Once I got there, they conveniently got it to work without replacing the steering column and all was well ever since. This all took place over about a 2 week period, cost me $450 in tow fees, towing it there and back 3 separate times. Had I let them replace the steering column, this lost key would have cost me over $3,200 and all due to the defective key they had made in the first place.

Michelle was amazing, I was tossing around BMW X5 and Mercedes Benz, I was on my way to East Wichita and made a phone call to BMW of Wichita, Michelle answered the phone, I told her what I was looking for and that I would stop by and take a look at what they had, when I arrived 15 minutes later she had 2 waiting for me.Wow.... no waiting, does that really happen these days, well I guess so! The exact BMW X5 that I had been searching for from exterior to interior was right in front of me, beautiful vehicle. I bought a used 2017 BMW from a local dealer. It was a horrible experience. It needed some minor fixes in the first week and I was told I am on my own. So I called Wichita BMW and set up an appointment to take care of everything. The difference between Eddys and Walser is night and day. Every appointment at BMW, specifically with Austin in the service department, has been top notch. One of the sales men even hooked me up an 4 year extended warranty that ended up nearly paying for itself when one of my headlights began to error and needed replacing. Getting service is never easy, but the lengths to which Walser and Austin go to make sure I am taken care of, on a car I didnt even buy from them. Simply Amazing!!! I will continue to use BMW Wichita, Walser, and hopefully Austin for all of my service needs.

Why do the mechanics not change their gloves after working on vehicles?I have noticed after multiple visits the mechanics wear black gloves when working under the hood. They use different tools and work with different chemicals ex: Oil, Coolant, Brake Fluid (pretty dangerous on bare skin) etc. all while wearing gloves. The problem is they wear those same gloves when getting into your vehicle to drive it out of the service area or to take it on a test drive.If the tools and chemicals they are using are so dirty or dangerous to the skin.. then aren’t they just as dirty and dangerous for the customer’s bare hands after they touch their steering wheel that the just mechanic touched with their dirty gloves?This is not a one-time case. I have seen it on multiple visits through the huge glass wall into the service area. I am not even going to mention COVID.I know the mechanics don’t honestly care about our vehicles, but when we are spending $50,000+ to drive BMWs please have the respect or courtesy to not put greasy/dirty gloves all over our interiors.

Austin in the service department is a liar and overall seems shady in my opinion. The customer service I received from him was atrocious. If you want to buy an overpriced vehicle and wait on hold for hours to get someone who doesn’t know what they are talking about, BMW of Wichita is your place. I was dissatisfied with every aspect of my experience at BMW of Wichita. I also spoke to a saleswoman who spoke over me and was less rude than Austin in service department, but still fairly subpar as a salesperson in my opinion. I do not recommend buying or having your vehicle serviced here

The dealer was very prompt, professional and easy to work with. There was up front pricing so no haggling over the price of the purchase of the new car, but we were able to negotiate the trade in value of my old car. I thought the dealer was very friendly and bent over backwards to get the deal done. They even delivered the vehicle to me in OKC which is about 120 miles away. I had a very pleasant and smooth experience. Would highly recommend purchasing from this dealership.

Michelle Anderson helped us from the very beginning, from ordering my car from the factory to picking accessories and even after we closed the deal! We are a Mini Cooper family! My oldest daughter drives a 2014 Mini Clubman and loves it. My youngest daughter is graduating from high school next year so we decide to go ahead and look for a Mini Countryman for her to share with my wife. I have a Ram Truck because I am 66 and had trouble driving the Clubman. I had hoped that the bigger Countryman would fit me as I love to drive sports cars. Well, thanks to Mathew at BMW of Wichita we found a perfect 2019 British Racing Green Countryman, fully loaded with a beautiful British Oak leather interior. Since we live in another state I was worried about buying a car without visiting the dealership. But with all that is going on and the 14 hour drive we decided to trust Matt and Mandi and Mason to help us get this Mini to us in Alabama. I have to say that this buying experience was all great news! They checked over the car, cleaned it and got it ready for transport. The couple who brought it to us were excellent and the car arrived this week in perfect shape. All my concerns about buying a car remotely were put to rest by this top notch dealership. I can happily report that my daughter and wife love the car and I can drive it as well in complete comfort. The larger Countryman is a wonderful upgrade for our family. I the future we will look to BMW of Wichita for our next Mini. Thank you again to all who helped us, especially Mathew!

BMW service and the service manager David is a joke and unprofessional. I’ve tried 4 different times to call the manager about my experience and left voicemails asking for a call back and have heard nothing. I went to get an oil change, my tires balanced and an alignment. My car came back with oil leaking everywhere, holes in the hoses, crack in my radiator, my serpentine belt needing to be replaced, etc. About 2,000 dollars of damages later and weeks spent at a more trustworthy auto shop. I would never take my BMW for maintenance ever again here.

I tried to purchase a vehicle here after seeing advertisements listed in car gurus and car fax. The salesmen, Jesus, kept changing the price and adding on more costs after already agreeing on a TOTAL* price including delivery & process/tax. Sleazy sales tactics by salesmen and sales manager. Although I was only going to purchase a used car with cash, I would rather spend my hard earned money at a more respectable organization that holds honesty and fair dealing in higher regard.

Took me for a test drive in a car I wasnt even really interested in and I specifically told him that and while we were enroute the passenger seat suddenly moved pushing my head into the ceiling and my knees towards the dashboard. Apparently this is one of their best vehicles a 750.

I wanted a specific 750 XI and after months of searching found it at Walser BMW in Wichita Kansas. It was a 2018 with just 1700 miles and plenty of warranty left. My contact was Ms Mandi Calderon and she was my one and only contact. We discussed everything on the phone, I drove to Wichita Kansas from DFW, did the paperwork, gave my trade in and was out in less than 2 hours. Drove the car home, all in a day. Everything was smooth and easy. Mandi was nice and professional and I am a satisfied customer. Great experience and now I have been to Kansas.

We purchased our first Mini Cooper from Mini of Wichita/BMW of Wichita/Walser yesterday and had a great experience ... considering were still in a pandemic! I found a Mini online and we put down a deposit to hold it for us. The online photos of the Mini did not look like the Mini looked in person ... they were what Id call stock photos??? If you are basing your purchase off of the photos online ... be careful! It seems like, to me, that its the same when you look at homes online ... they pull all photos of the listing, no matter when shot, and include them with the listing. Im guessing this is what Walser might do?We ended up purchasing a different Mini and we are quite happy with the Mini and the service we received. I do have to say that they didnt have a huge selection of Minis on the lot ... but were in a pandemic and it is 2020. My husband wouldnt even consider a 2020 model ... LMAO ... for obvious 2020 reasons. We worked specifically with Blaize and Michelle ... and of course there are other team members involved in the process and they were all great.So far we are quite pleased and I would most certainly recommend Mini of Wichita to friends and family. I would caution them that the online photos might not be exact and to make sure they check any vehicle out in person.If you have the chance to work with Blaize and/or Michelle youll be smiling the entire time ... they are GREAT ... and who doesnt like smiling?! {smiles}

We went in with a Mini Countryman already in mind, after test driving my wife was still unsure that this choice was her dream car. So this is where the magic started and Michelle started going through inventory then grabbing keys and ready to hit the lot like a Santas helper determined to find the car that matches my wife’s dream car. Off to the second test drive Michelle knocked it out of the park finding the Mini Countryman that brought tears to my wife’s eyes. I would highly recommend.I bought a car from BMW of Wichita in 2018, being from Wisconsin I drove to Wichita to pick up the car because at that time it was the cheapest 2018 BMW 440 xdrive in the country. My experience was good.When buying, I feel being treated well when making a large purchase is a reasonable expectation. In my humble opinion, the way a company treats you when there is no profit or sale on the line truly indicates the quality of the company you are dealing with.Here is where my experience went from good to great. Recently I traded my BMW 440 in for another car locally to me in Wisconsin. I called BMW of Wichita in order to cancel the remainder of a service contract, Katrina, the person who helped me was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. I left a voicemail for her and her response was lightning quick. She responded to my inquiry with an email clearly explaining the process and indicated that I should call or email back if I have any questions. I sent her several emails requesting information about the cancellation process and she responded promptly each time. She then went out of her way to make sure that I got the refund check in a ridiculously short amount (2 days!!!!!) of time because she could sense it was needed.I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciated the way Katrina’s took care of me despite the fact there was no money coming in from a “sale”. She made me feel that despite living in Wisconsin and getting a refund instead of purchasing, I was incredibly important to BMW of Wichita and to her.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend BMW of Wichita. Thank you for being an awesome company and caring about your customers, whether they happen to live close by or farther away. You guys are a class act!

They sent me a video from under the hood and the undercarriage which I thought was very cool!!David McAmis and his service team, Christian and Austin did a great, as always! Flawless experience purchasing a car sight unseen. Jesus may seem too laid back for you but, rest assured, he has it all under control. His tenure and experience carried the deal through to completion with little fuss, and no drama. I experienced a minor issue at pickup, but the whole team (Christian in service included) were committed to a quick and easy resolution. Highly recommend, especially for out of state buyers who might be a bit skeptical.

Austin in the service department was so helpful two days ago! I had a large screw puncture my tire, so I dropped in unexpectedly to the very busy service department. Austin tracked down a new tire, and I was back on the road quickly. The service team even did a multi-point inspection and ran my car through the car wash. Thanks for great service!!

Had to run by the Walser BMW on my way home from work, terrified it was going to be something bad. My car kept shifting into park at each stop light. Even though it was an hour and a half from closing time for them on a Friday, they worked me in and ran a full diagnostic. Turned out to be a battery going bad. Thankfully, they replaced the battery and I was on my way... but not until they washed it and cleaned the inside out! Great service!

Enjoyed working with salesman. who was very knowledgeable and did not high pressure me to buy a car.The high pressure came when he tried to sell me extras such as paint protection, dent and wheel replacement packages, extended warranties, etc. When I said no, the salesman got his manager to put additional pressure on me to buy more. When I said no, that did not mean to keep pushing me to buy serviced that I did not want. It meant NO.
