This guy named Chris who works here is really chill. it was my first time going to this place and Im definitely going again. This guy was really friendly and let me try a lot of really nice headphones without a second thought. They have a great selection from a lot of good companies and what they have is very recent.Go to this place, they know what there doing, they have a great selection, and theyll let you listen to anything no matter how much it costs.5/5

These guys are always so friendly and helpful and they know everything there is to know about stereo components! Always buy our record player cartridges here and they always have great new and used vinyl.

I always enjoy any time spent at Crescendo. Lots of hi end hi-fi audio equipment, and a couple showrooms. I typically drop in to pick up something fresh on vinyl, and have never been disappointed. The fellas working here have always been friendly and helpful.

I only bought an inexpensive turntable mat, but everyone there was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. This is an old school hifi shop and its great.

What can I say? I moved here from out of state about 6 months ago, with plans to upgrade my stereo system. I hit all the higher end stereo shops and stopped when I got to Crescendo. Why? First off, my initial impression was not one of salespersons and commissions. Its a serious shop, but no pressure, no rush. They carry new products from great manufacturers, but also have some very nice used stuff that can be picked up for a great discount.I was no easy customer. I traded in my old system for a new one, had issues, returned the product, then ended up returning it YET AGAIN for an entirely new system. Despite these issues, the guys were patient and helpful. They worked to get me great prices on the equipment I ended up with, and really did their part to ensure that i will be a lifelong customer. My system speaks for itself. Its fantastic, and I love it.When its time to upgrade again, I know where Ill go.Bonus points for also selling records!

Great selection and Matt was very helpful with setting up speakers for a demo. Great selection including headphones like Dan Clark. There is some really fun gear in here that competing stores dont carry. Pricing on demo and used gear is much more reasonable than youll find at competing stores. And the atmosphere is far more laid back.

Holy smokes these dudes are amazing. I was having some issues with my turntable having some wicked feedback problems. Although they weren’t able to fix the issue, they helped troubleshoot any and every solution they could think of, even to the point of me bringing me set up in and running through all the possibilities. We came to the conclusion it was the light dimming switch causing issues (and they were correct) I did walk away with a much better phono preamp for an incredible price. They have the best of the best when it comes to equipment and sales/service people. The individual and combined knowledge held by the staff is impressive to say the least. Ive upgraded components. Traded in. Bought new. Plus, they carry Teenage Engineering. That alone is worth a visit.

Wasnt looking for a high end system but was looking for some good quality audio cables. Hard to find anymore. They had what I was looking for. Good value and good folks. System I heard was pretty awesome. Someday may return to get a decent record player.

Isaac was a great help to me in finding what I needed for my audio wares. He was very thorough in his explanation of the technology that went into the individual systems. He also played great sample songs on the sound systems that really brought out the best in each system. Over all 5/5 experience.

If you love listening to music and want to make the experience even better, this is the place to go. Over the past 18 mo. Ive bought both budget and higher end audio components from Crescendo. Adam, Isaac, Chris, and Matt combine friendly, go-the-extra-mile service with incredible audio knowledge. Listening to music on my smartphone just got a lot better with an inexpensive headphone amp/DAC they recommended. I have a home system, too. Adam became a guide and partner in helping me upgrade it with new speakers, cables, and amplifier as well as sound treatments for my listening space. I had the chance to demo equipment in my home before purchasing. Once purchased, equipment was delivered and set up. Extraordinary store. Extraordinary people.

Stopped in to check out headphones. They let me spend as much time as I wanted listening to their products without pressure. Very friendly, beautiful store, and they know their stuff. They have an selection of high quality stereo equipment, about two or three steps up from what youd find at Best Buy. I ended up with a pair of headphones (Grado) that I love and could afford. It is so wonderful to find a quality audio store in Wheat Ridge.

This place is awesome! I cannot comment on their new location in Wheat Ridge but I stopped in their Boulder store several times (before their move) . Matt is very laid back and does not try the hard sell common at other audio stores. Very nice selection of top notch gear ranging from headphones to amps, speakers to turntables. I purchased my Rega RP3 from Matt and am very happy with it. Bonus: you get a $100 gift certificate to Barts Music Shack in Boulder with a table purchase from Crescendo (Barts has the best vinyl selection in Boulder).

Amazing products and service

The guys at Crescendo Fine Audio are absolutely fantastic! In my quest for a new 5.1 and general listening system, I finally ended up here.  Adams gang of audiophiles are simply phenomenal.  My wife and I walked into a welcoming environment and straight into their listening room.  It was slow that morning so we had the entire staff arranging the room,  hooking up speakers,  tuning the system,  etc.Adams prices are great,  only beat buy his customer service.  I bought my system just before black Friday sales were released so I missed all of the discounts that were announced shortly after we left the store.  I was astonished when I received a text from Adam apologizing for the already great price we received; Adam wanted to make it better so he threw in some freebies we had previously talked about purchasing.I cant speak highly enough of the folks at Crescendo Fine Audio, we will never shop anywhere else for audio equipment!

After many years with my old, somewhat fatiguing speakers, I decided it was time for an upgrade. Matt had some great recommendations and was kind enough to let me try out the speakers in his shop for over an hour. (I had brought a lot of music!) Fantastic customer service!

I bought a AT-LP120 on the reccomendation of two cool cats who were running the place. Never been happier. When I was in there they hooked up up to some mega system. Merely hinting at its price made my wallet instantaneously combust in my pocket. Sweet jesus did it sound good though. It was just like real life. If you have an insane amount of money and want to make your ears drip honey, hit up Crescendo Audio stat. They have the goods.
