First time using this bakery and they did not disappoint. They did a excellent job on the cakes I ordered for my daughter’s first birthday party. Ordered cake on Tuesday for a Saturday pickup for a party on Sunday and cake was really good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Even called me to verify that I knew they are closed Sunday’s and that cake was being picked up Saturday. Told me how to keep cake fresh for the party the next day. Cake was very moist and tasted very good. Everyone was complementing how good the cake tasted and how cute they were.

First time ordering and was very pleased with the strawberry shortcake. The cake was fresh and moist, frosting was fluffy and had the perfect amount of sweetness, and the strawberry filling was delicious.The cake was ordered online and paid for with a credit card; curbside pickup was also offered. No doubt that I will be ordering again from this local bakery!

We booked Starry Night to do our wedding cupcakes and small cutting cake for earlier this year. Our wedding was originally supposed to be in April of 2020 so we had our tasting back in 2019. I cant eat dairy so everything had to be vegan. During the tasting everything was amazing! My husband and I were planning a woodland/outside themed wedding and they were totally on board with the decoration for the cupcakes.Fast forward a year and a half (since we had to push the wedding twice), during the reception we walked over to take a look at the cake and cupcakes and while they looked good, they came out a bit more kid-party looking than elegant (which I expressed being worried about during the tasting). Overall, wasnt really anything to complain about, until we tasted it.We ordered a few different flavors (chocolate, lemon, and one more I cant remember). Everything tasted pretty awful. It was nothing like the tasting we had in store. It was almost as if they use almond extract instead of vanilla in everything. Each flavor tasted the same too. Ultimately, none of them we really eaten and we ended up having to throw everything away (including our cutting cake).Not only was it frustrating still not having the wedding we planned (due to covid), but having what we thought was the perfect cake/cupcakes turning out to be terrible was extra disappointing.I never contacted them about this since whats done is done and nothing can be changed, but I feel like I should have followed up prior to the new date to make sure everything was in line.

Shannon the owner is amazing! She stepped up to the plate on a last minute wedding cake- and it was AMAZING! I can’t say it enough, the cake was delicious and decorated BEAUTIFULLY! Since the cake was so good- I’ve already been back twice(that’s once a week since the wedding). The cupcakes are divine-ESPECIALLY the Almond Raspberry! The cheesecake cupcakes are top notch as well!!! If you’re looking for something to hit that sweet tooth just right- look no further- Starry Night Bakery is where it’s at!!!!

I was looking for Harry Potter cupcakes. A friend recommended this bakery. The lady who waited on me was very pleasant and helpful. I ordered a dozen cupcakes. When I picked them up I was so happy with the designs on them. They did a great job. My grandson loved them.

My daughter ordered a cake for her sons 1st birthday. Everyone at the bakery is very nice but the 2 cakes that she boughy was not worth the money that she paid for them.

I knew wed found an amazing bakery when I could smell the strawberry through the box at curbside! Im so thrilled with the smash cake, it turned out adorable (and we were able to taste some of the unsmashed part: delicious!). The family cake (aka the one we planned on getting to eat) was delicious too.Smooth ordering online, reasonable prices (they could charge more for how wonderful the cakes are, if Im honest), and a great experience. We look forward to ordering and eating more cakes from Starry Night in the future!

Starry Night Bakery has the best tasting cookies! We hired them to individually package and seal over 100 cookies for our wedding dessert table and they turned out absolutely delicious and cute! They even offered to place our personalized stickers on each seal. Cant recommend them enough for any kind of event!

Rarely do I resort to a mere 2 stars as a local who values small businesses here in Westminster. And I have admired the artistry of this bakerys fancy cakes from afar for many years. And I did recieve friendly & satisfactory customer service, as I stopped in shortly before the 3pm closing time last Saturday (thank you to the young ladies behind the counter). But I rarely frequent bakeries as I have a gluten sensitivity, and cake is something I must now avoid. Sadly. With one exception: *Gluten Free* cake! And last weekend I was thrilled to learn Starry Night offers GF baked goods. (Yay!)So online I read they make GF cupcakes ready for purchase at the counter. Or you can special order from many flavors, including black bottoms (yum!). I also read about their vegan cupcakes, and then found myself pausing for a moment of silence while thinking of all the poor people forced to avoid dairy. I even thought about those who choose to be vegans, which I still cant quite wrap my mind around. Point being: Id rather eat cardboard than vegan anything. (Ive accidentally consumed a few vegan dairy products in recent years, none of which I care to remember.) So Im reading Starry Nights online menu, doing my research ahead of arrival since its now past 2pm & I want to be prepared as a late day walk-in, and online it states Vegan OR Gluten Free. Perfect. I really wanted homemade GF cupcakes for my 50th birthday & I decided this milestone in my life would justify paying over $30 (with tax) for a dozen GF cupcakes, of whatever flavors were on hand. Im not picky.What I realized Id been given after I asked for an assortment of GF cupcakes, paid for them (alas, no ready-made black bottoms available at that time, serves me right for not going out in the morning!), and then proceeded to place them in my car two minutes before 3pm, in anticipation of my celebration the next day, was a dozen cupcakes in a plastic container with *two* stickers affixed: Gluten Free and Vegan.Wait-- gluten free AND vegan, all at once? Yes, according to the stickers. What about OR, as in Vegan OR Gluten Free? I asked for one restriction, not both. There is no AND in their info, so at that moment I was feeling deceived. At that point I left with a product I did not want.I told no one; my family has no sympathy for my digestive issues & I wasnt about to throw 30 dollars in the trash. The next day my sister put candles in the cupcakes while noting their dense nature, and I served lots of all-natural ice cream alongside (full of real dairy), hoping to overshadow the muffin-like cupcakes with the mystery icing I was about to feed my family. (Whats in vegan icing, anyway?)Pros: moist, not dry; although muffin-like, they were not spongy; icing did not smell like wet dog (IMO vegan dairy often smells... bleh); icing was fluffy; aesthetically pleasing and nicely embellished; the flavor and texture were tolerable; the leftovers freeze well; my family politely (read: quietly) ate them without giving me a bunch of grief (turning 50 has its merits).Cons: they were not an exclusive *gluten free* product as stated online and as requested; the flavor of the cupcakes was similar to zucchini bread (which is a perfectly wonderful thing, when thats what youre expecting); if I pay $30+ for cupcakes, there needs to be eggs & milk in those suckers; not worth the cost/calories; for ⅓ of the price I couldve made delicious, non-muffin cupcakes using Betty Crocker GF cake mix along with a batch of homemade icing, and if served immediately after baking, my family wouldve been none the wiser!Suggestion: Maybe just update your info online to reflect your practice of selling combo GF-Vegan products at the counter; they are two very different culinary experiences.

Starry Night has been my familys go-to bakery for over 5 years when we first used it for a custom sheet cake for my sisters wedding shower. There were raves from attendees for the yellow cake with raspberry filling and French Buttercream frosting.Since then weve had more custom cakes than I can count in many combinations of cake, filling, and frosting decorated for our occasion and them. Every one has been moist and delicious.They also do wedding cakes. The one for my sons wedding was done with tapered tiers of assorted cupcakes topped by a small, traditionally decorated cake topper.Starry Night Bakery also sells freshly baked bread and cookies. They regularly have a variety of sizes and flavors of cheesecake available for walk-in purchase or special orders.The Bakery also serves as a popular coffeehouse and occasional live music venue. Everything is easily accessible by wheelchair, including the rest room.The entire business always appears spotlessly clean. Its cheerfully decorated, and the workers are pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Starry Night Bakery did my wedding cake and it was absolutely amazing!! I showed a picture of what I would like and they created it perfectly! Not only did it look amazing but the cake was DELICIOUS! Stopped in sput of the moment & found an absolutely amazing Pecan Bar! I dont at all like Pecan Pie, but its my husbands favorite so I grabbed him a piece when I saw it. It was truly incredible & now I know Ive just had bad Pecan Pies...but this is far superior because of the shortbread crust, its just delicious. Had a couple of mini cheesecakes that were lovely too. I immediately ordered a full Pecan Bar for Thanksgiving & think its a new tradition.

This place is amazing. I got a marble cake with chocolate mousse filling and chocolate ganache icing. The cake was baked perfectly and the filling and icing were amazing. I will definitely be back.

I bought 2 keto cheesecakes and some keto cookies. Cookies are ok, l wouldnt complain. However, the cheesecake is disgusting. The cheesecake has the consistency of chalk and does not taste like cheesecake. The bottom has a thick layer of almond flour and its overwhelming. It almost tastes like a bad almond flour cake. Im disappointed because their cheesecake used to be good. I got a slice for my birthday last year and l was so happy. Will likely be back in the near future to give them another try. Spent almost $25 that l am throwing away

We hired Starry Night Bakery to do our wedding cake as well as several dozen mini deserts. All I have to say is... WOW!!! They absolutely nailed every single desert. We received more compliments on the deserts and how delicious every was. They added fresh flowers (provided by the florist) on the day of the wedding to the cake and it looked spectacular! I really cannot recommend them enough.

This is such a hidden gem. Its worth it to go out of your way for one of their treats. The chocolate ganache is piled high, thick, and is to die for. I have not found a better cupcake in town - not that Im encouraging you to try to find a better one. Once you find the cupcake, its ok to stick with it. This is that place. Staff is super friendly.

A beautiful blonde girl just waited on me and made me the best latte I have ever had. I got a vanilla pumpkin double espresso iced latte iced with almond milk and I highly recommend it! I have been visiting here for vegan baked goods for about two years maybe. Today I cleaned them out of their vegan coffee cake. I have also ordered a full size coffee cake before and you can customize it to have a fruit filling! But anyway my service today was above what I was expecting. Very clean and well prepared for the pandemic guidelines, and this young lady was very privy to my vegan needs! So sweet! Loved her customer service!

Bummer. I read reviews after going here on a whim. The cupcakes that were mentioned as dry months ago...are still dry. The filling in the cupcakes is tiny, no larger than an average marble, maybe a dime even.Even having visited the medical marijuana dispensary next door, these cupcakes still dont taste good. I will give ya another shot for sure. Everyone should get a second chance. However, if you cant make a medicated guy enjoy a cupcake, something just aint right. Hope you can redeem yallselves.

I’m writing this a one star based on the looks of the cake. I must say that I am very disappointed. I never asked for the accents on the cake to be on top, I wanted them around the cake, on sides/all around the cake. Not the very top, and beside that’s it minimal decoration. The Mickey Mouse decor could of been better. The cake could of been decorated all around. For the price I paid of the cake to look like it did, it’s crazy to me. I would of been happier going to bakery inside shoppers and getting a better decorated cake. I didn’t say anything when I went to bakery because I had a party to get too. The more I look at the cake the more I hate it, extremely disappointed. The cake is ruined.EDIT. I’m now rating 4 stars. I called the bakery and let them know how upset I was, the offered to either refund or fix my cake and I asked for it to be re fixed. Today was our cake tasting and let me tell you.... Caroline was so amazing and patient. She went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Not only did she bring extra flavors to sample from the back for us, but she also helped with the decision making process. This is the most incredible bakery in the Baltimore and DC area. We tasted cakes for our wedding at all of the best places, but this little bakery surpassed them all. I’m a baker and was very critical and had a very clear vision of what I wanted for my cakes, but didn’t want to do it myself. Shannon was amazing to work with and executed my vision perfectly. On top of that her cake bearing beautiful, it was moist and flavorful. I got compliments during the entire wedding! We saved a piece to have a year later in the freezer and it was still amazing. Thank you Shanon for making us a 1st anniversary cake too! You made our wedding!

Starry Night Bakery is a great place for a small gathering of friends. Love the atmosphere and the creations of desserts behind the glass are beautiful. They even have keto dessert.

We paid $50+ for cupcakes for an event. If youre buying from a bakery and paying high dollars you expect a better than decent product. Cupcakes were very dry, which imo is worthless. How can a bakery not make a moist cupcake? Do they think if you put mounds of icing on the top that folks wont notice their dry cupcakes. Wish I could get my money back.

They have some of the coolest cupcakes and cake designs and all of their baked goods are delicious. I had their bulletproof coffee and the kids had a full menu of fun drinks to choose from.

I ordered a 3 tiered custom Halloween cake and it was absolutely AMAZING! I spoke with Shannon Clarke who took my basic idea and turned it into a creative masterpiece. Any questions I had throughout the process was followed by and immediate response from her. The Red Velvet and Chocolate Cake is my personal favorite! The American Butter Cream and Ganache Icing is incredible! This place is awesome! Highly recommended!!!

I am very sad to post this, but, I am very disappointed in this establishment’s “keto friendly” baked goods. First let me start off by saying, I understand how hard it is to make keto desserts, let alone it not taste what we normally are used to tasting, but I have never in my life... in my entire existence... threw away a cake/sweets, probably the reason why I’m on keto now but that’s not the point. I can’t express how un-loved this cake tasted to me. It was a red velvet with cream cheese frosting that was ordered by my husband for my birthday. We drove an hour and some change to pick it up and hopefully finds some other goodies while we were there.So, the cake was so chalky and dense, it seemed as though it wasn’t baked at all but almond flour mixed with oils, chocolate and sweetener, packed together to make a layer of cake 2-3 layers in total... and then cream cheese frosting in the middle and on top. As soon as we got it, we ate it right in the shop... we felt so bad about the cake that we didn’t want them to see us throwing the whole thing away, we couldn’t even finish the slices we first cut! My husband, who, normally plows right through anything and sucks it up (thanks to the army) even if it’s bad, still couldn’t finish it.Secondly we bought almost every keto treat they had! Every single treat, from the cup of layered cream cheese and almond crumbles, to the cheese cakes, as well as the cookies, were not loved either. The crust, the crumbles and the cookies taste like packed almond flour and that’s it, nothing special what so ever. The cheesecake tasted like they threw in sugar free jello taste for the lime and cherry.Mind you we spent $50 on just the treats, not including what the cake cost my husband.I was hoping that I could at least take the load off of my busy schedule and have something sweet to come home to, I don’t mind paying the money to keep this keto lifestyle up and enjoy it while in the process. I also don’t mind traveling far for it.My only wish is, please take into consideration that if you are going to charge high prices and labeling things “keto”, put some love into it and make it taste what it’s worth!! There’s nothing sadder than a wasted cake... well I’m sure there is but, not in this case.

I was very excited to go to a bakery that offered Vegan options as there arent any places close to me which do (this place is 30 mins from where I live). It was my birthday weekend so my Fiance and I went here specifically so I can get a cupcake. I ordered the vegan red velvet cupcake with vanilla frosting. It was expensive but I figured it would be worth it. The lady working there came back with a one inch tall cupcake that was not worth the price for the size, it was tiny and looked deflated. I waited to try it before judging but alas, it was almost completely frozen inside and tasted nothing like red velvet. The saving grace was the frosting that was pretty good, but I will never buy another vegan cupcake from here again. Im originally from Miami so Ive tried many good vegan cupcakes and cakes before, I am not sure what happened in this case but it was disappointing. To be straightforward, I did not speak to management about it as we just went in and out and to get this cupcake. I didnt try it until I was already in the car.

My husband was excited to go here, he had been here before but it was my first time. I was excited when we walked in and saw the selection. We got one of almost all the cupcakes they had to offer that day. I was not impressed when I finally ate one. Very disappointed in these cupcakes. I make better tasting cupcakes at home that are not dry. Frosting is overly sweet and the cake is dry, bad combination.

Absolutely horrible! Over the phone I gave full details of the cake I needed a week in advance. They gave me a quote of $70 and they said to send any pictures or ideas to their email and they would email back with a sketch. They were closed Sunday and Monday and partially open on Tuesday due to renovation. I called Tuesday and was reassured that I would have a custom cake by Saturday but they were in the middle of their renovation. I didnt hear back by Thursday morning so I called again, they said they never received my email and that I would have to come in and place my order. I went in that day and they said all they could do was put an do edible image on the cake and it was going to be $30 more than discussed earlier. When I asked why, they said it was due to short notice even though over the phone they said it was doable to have a custom cake by Saturday in my price range. I told them Id rather not order at this point and they said good luck with that.

Bought a coconut cake from here. Didnt get the traditional cake with coconut flakes but the cake came with a layer of coconut cream. Buttercream frosting was not sweet or creamy just thick. Very disappointing

Vegan cupcakes and coffee cakes are amazing! We tried all available varities and each one tasted great. Homemade dog treats were a hit with the 🐕.

We got a cake for my birthday- Red Velvet with French Buttercream icing. Visually, it was pretty cool. But the red velvet was all dried out, and was worse than something that I could have made myself. The icing tasted like a pot of powdered sugar, and someone who at it compared it to lard. I would NOT recommend this.

They make the best custom orders and tasty too

I bought a pre-made cake from the display and got some custom writing on it. It was the worst cake Ive ever eaten. Terribly dry. The only way I could make a cake that dry on purpose would be to leave the layers out a whole day before frosting. The two cupcakes were small and uninspired. The only redeeming item was the butter cookie. The vibe inside was very fun and edgy but showing its age.

If you want a beautiful cake, then this might be your place if you dont care about the taste. We went for a taste test for our wedding cake and couldnt tell the different between the chocolate and yellow cakes and the almond tasted like straight almond extract. If youre looking for a beautiful cake that is a gorgeous centerpiece and is a work of art, Starry Night is your place. The customer service is great, staff is very helpful, and their work is top notch, but the flavor of cakes, icing and filling is lacking.

Great local bakery. Some things might be pricey, but you surely get what you pay for. The owner is an amazing bakery artist.

Love this coffee house! Their cakes and cupcakes are so very yummy and its a wonderful atmosphere for a date with my man or a special treat for the kids.

I was drawn in for an impromptu mutual birthday celebration with two friends due to the cupcake offerings available. Prior to the bakerys two appearances on Food Networks Cupcake Wars, there was possibly a wider variety of baked goods, but now the focus seems to be on cupcakes. (I do miss the mousse log, and hope it will make a return eventually.)We tried almost every cupcake flavor available (it was a weekend in October), and were not disappointed! Our highest ranked cupcakes were the Pumpkin with Maple Icing, Amaretto Chai (the spice blend made me feel as if I were eating fluffy clouds, not a cupcake - a good thing, in my opinion), Apple Crumb with Salted Caramel Icing, and one of the large stuffed cupcakes - the Total Eclipse, which is not for the faint of heart or avoider of chocolate.The atmosphere is fun and funky, the wall art is amazing, and the cupcakes are very good. Prices are reasonable, and the overall vibe is relaxing. Coffees and teas are available for consumption alongside the bakery options, as are a select number of café sandwiches.Check it out, give it a try, and support local businesses.

I live 45 minutes from Vape Dojo in Westminster and even farther from their Hampstead location but I visit them frequently. I try to visit when Im in the area for work but I have made several trips from home for the sole purpose of visiting Cape Dojo. Their Happy Ending juice is my main all day vape, Id say 80% of what I vape is that flavor. Their price on the house line of juices, including happy ending, is a pretty good bargain. Their coil prices are usually below other shops as well. Many times I will import my gear but when I cant or dont want to wait they are my first choice for most gear.Very friendly staff who remember you and are always willing to go out of their way to explain, help, or just chat about anything vape related. The store is a very relaxing atmosphere, one could easily just hang out there for quite awhile without feeling rushed or it feeling awkward which is not the case in most shops. In addition to having a comfortable lounge area they have samples of all their juices out for you to sample at your own leisure. I personally much prefer this to the shops where everything is behind the counter and you have to ask to try each flavor. I have a very hard time finding flavors that I would like enough to vape more than a few puffs of and find shops that want to hand you a few flavors they pick out for you extremely outputting. Vape Dojo has the right idea, make every flavor available to every customer and be there to offer suggestions and help if the customer wants it.Now, if only they would open a shop in Frederick!
