My wife and I recently purchased two new vehicles at Tom Roush and the experience was excellent all around. Things are crazy in the car market these days, and Im a picky buyer, so when the car I wanted wasnt on the lot, JT and the team at Tom Roush were able to find me exactly what I wanted on its way from Japan. The global supply chain and logistics problems meant that it took my car more than a month longer to get here than we anticipated, but it was well worth the wait. While other dealers we shopped at were using the current supply problem as a reason to add markups of anywhere from $5k-$15k, we were met with no such games at Tom Roush. It was clear throughout the entire process that they strive to take great care of their customers.

I thought this was important to share. I happened to be in the Indianapolis area for the weekend (from PA) and I plan to buy a car in the near future. I was considering Mazda and had some time to browse the dealership. The salesman, Roger, promptly came out, greeted us and spent time showing us any model we were interested in and answered any questions possible. We did explain to him that we weren’t in the position to buy a car that day and we didn’t want to waste his time. This did not change Rogers customer care. He continued to show us options and provide information.I dearly wish that I was able to buy a car that day, but sadly I was only in the area for the day.I will be choosing Mazda because of Roger and believe that he deserves to know that he provided the best customer service possible!

Go visit them, no matter what kind of car you want... theyll figure it out, and make the experience like nothing youve ever experienced.

Ive had my car for several months now, so I think its safe to leave a review. Im always skeptical of dealerships, but Brent was very helpful and friendly and took the time to answer my questions. The financial representative was also helpful working with me on my down payment and finding a good lienholder for me. Steve the mechanic was awesome. He put two cars on the lift for me so I could check them out underneath, and with the sales rep standing nearby told me frankly, candidly, and honestly what he liked or didnt like about each car. I will happily shop here again, and as an insurance agent I send my customers here as well. The only reason I took off a star is because when trading in my car I had to haggle a little to get it to the price I wanted for a trade in. They justified lowering it because a deer ran into it once, yet they showed me a vehicle with 5 rear end accidents that they were asking 16,000 for. so if its worth that much I think I can get at least 4,000. He did however offer me a little more when I bulked at the original offer, so again, to clarify most of my experience was very positive and they are good to work with. Ill def see them again. Hopefully not in the near future, as I love my new car that I purchased here and hope it last me many many years to come.

We weren’t ready to buy just yet when we first came in, but when we were, we made sure to come back to Tom Roush vs. other dealerships because of the experience we had with JT. He seems like a very nice guy who truly wants to help you find the best car for you and your family. I typically drive cars until they’re done (I don’t trade them in, sell them, etc) which is why I wanted a car that will last for years to come. Service area was TERRIBLE. I took my car in about 3 weeks ago due to a noise on driver front side. Scott was my representative and he stated that i had a mazda warranty and an extended warranty. I asked that the staff take a look at the suspension and wheel bearing. He comes back to me and states that my problem is my after market break pads. I advised that i just put brand new brakes and rotors on my car and i knew that it wasn’t the issue. He did not give me an inspection report at all. I asked to speak with manger. I was able to speak with Matt. Matt drove my car and admitted to hearing the noise. He then states that the reason i am hearing the noise is because i need an alignment. I insisted that this was not the issue. I then just left because i was getting no where with the manger. I don’t know if they didn’t to work due to the warranty. However fast forward 3 weeks later, i took my car to Meineke. I was told by meineke that in fact my problem was the wheel bearing as I expressed to mazda. I am very upset due to the fact that they lied and legit didnt want to look at my car or do the work. Very u professional and i do not recommend this dealership! I will be complaining to corporate and the manager. If i continued to drive my car the. My wheel would have eventually flew off and i hold mazda responsible for not being honest about what was wrong with my vehicle! Stay away from this place

My wife and I bought a Certified Pre-Owned 2017 Mazda CX-9 from them. We spent most of the time going over paperwork (showing that it was like new) with Brad our salesman and not enough time going over the car. Upon getting home we found that the car had a broken headlight assembly, cracked bumper that wouldnt stay in and front right fender bent in slightly. After many trips back and forth they ran the headlight through Mazda warranty claiming moisture build up in the lens (there was none). Finally after a couple of more visits and complaining to Mazda Customer Experience online the bumper was replaced. Since they refused to do anything about the fender being bent in the new bumper continued to pop out. More complaints to Tom Roush and Mazda Customer Experience we took the vehicle back down and they replaced the bumper clips. Tom Roush test drove it and the bumper popped back out. At this point Tom Roush Mazda or whoever they were subbing the work out to run a self-tapping sheet metal screw through the inner fender and into the bumper to hold it in place. The bumper is sucked in, you can see the silver screw between the fender and bumper. The car at this point can no longer be Certified Pre-Owned. They actually approved a fix that lowered our cars value. I spoke with Matt and Scott from service and they agreed it was a screw so they directed me to speak with Jim Lanie the used car manager. Jim said we wanted it fixed and they fixed it but he did not believe that it was a screw. This went on for 20 to 30 minutes, us showing Jim the screw and Jim saying no I dont believe that is a screw. We then stated we didnt want this car and his only options to us was to step down in model or buy a brand new vehicle. Had we wanted a lower model or brand new car that is what we would have bought. So when buying a certified pre-owned car and they want to go over the paperwork at their desk, do it at the car. Raise the hood and have them point out the items on the 160 point inspection that was supposedly done. Had we done this we would have walked away from the car and none of this nightmare would have even happened. That being said we honestly feel that Matt and Scott from service would have had the car fixed correctly if allowed. It is our opinion that the dealership decided that they were done and Jim Lanie was the guy picked to get that point across, unless anyone honestly believes that he couldnt tell if it was a screw or not. Take your car to Tom Roush for service Buy your car somewhere else.

Brutal experiences at this place.1.) My wife bought her car there and had all the oil changes done, until we got married. The oil plug was so stripped, it was round instead of hexagon. They destroyed it, but never replaced it. Im not sure how they even changed the oil. I bought one and brought it to them to install. They told us they might break the oil pan getting the old one out. I told them they have been the only ones to work on the car, they caused the problem, and if they broke the oil pan, theyd fix it for free. THEN, they just put the new one on without a fuss.2.) They put on new tires at 70,000 miles, mostly because the front right tire was worn. After about 5,000 miles, she had a front right tire start making sounds. They rotated the tires, and then the next tire in the front right started making the same sound. Another rotation, another tire making noise. By 10,000 miles on new tires, her car was vibrating and making all sorts of rumbling.3.) They said she needed new brakes, but that didnt fix it. 20,000 miles later, her brake line failed, fortunately in Fazolis parking lot and not on the highway. She took it to Tom Roush, and they said her tires needed replacing and her brakes pads were almost gone, too. They quoted $2,500 for repairs. We towed it directly south on 32 for a second opinion. The tires that had been on the front right since the new set were wearing unevenly, due to a bad tie rod. They said the pads werent even half worn yet and didnt need replacing. The place on 32 charged $270 for the brake line repair.4.) What a crock, right? Dont bother with Tom Roush Mazda. They completely missed a faulty tie rod, which is bad enough, but stripped the oil plug to the point it risked breaking her oil pan to remove, and then tried to over charge for services she didnt need. We will never return.

I called in at noon to get an oil change, multi-point inspection and diagnosis on an already known issue. I said upfront I was from out of town and needed to pick up the car by the end of the day, they assured me this wasnt an issue. I was clear that I only wanted an oil change and inspection performed, and didnt want any other issues the car had fixed. After arriving I entered the service department and spoke with a gentleman about my phone conversation. They were familiar and began helping me, then told me my car wouldnt be done until Wednesday. I reiterated that I needed the car back today regardless if they were able to get everything done. Around 2 hours after I left the dealership I call to get an update on my car and they told me it wouldnt be done today. I responded that I definitely needed the car back as I had already mentioned and he said that they would do the oil change and that was all they would be able to get done today. Alright a little disappointing but I can live with it. I arrive around 5:40 to pick up my car from the oil change they said I would be getting. After waiting 10 minutes for the employee to help me, I tell him my name and he then isnt able to find my ticket. After scrambling around for a few minutes they are able to find it. He then tells me that they werent able to perform the oil change and that the car was still in the service department due to the fact that they didnt know I was picking my car up today. They told me to wait outside the service bay and they would get my car right out.I then watched my car teeter on the lift and then the service employees point at a specific part on my car for around 20 minutes. The service employee I had been speaking with came out and asked if they got my car. I informed him no, I believe they were having trouble with the lift. He went over and then told me they had a issue. The issue they had was the mechanic locked my key in his tool box. That was an obvious lie as they had been struggling with the lift and we heard creaking as I watched my car rock on the lift. After they finally got it on the ground they had been checking out a specific area on my passenger side. Finally they got my car off the lift and I was able to leave. In short, I dropped my car off for an oil change and inspection and got nothing but a horrible experience!

SERVICE AND REPAIRUnfortunately, the warm friendliness of the Sales Department is deeply distant from the service offered at the Service Department. On Dec 14, 2020, I took my car to get a failure diagnosed: the engine light was on, and the revolutions were constantly going up and down (while not pressing the gas). The individual receiving the vehicles informed me that it would be $95 for the diagnosis, to which I agreed. After some hours, I got my car back with a list of 23 things to fix that went from replacing the engine gasket to replacing the air filter, (including a couple of miscellaneous), for a total of $5800.Rather than agreeing to repair every single bell and whistle, I took the car to an independent mechanic, to find out the accurate diagnostic was a Mazda code P0451:00 (caused by accumulated ice in the canister vent hose) and P0300, 01, 02, 03, and 04 (misfiring of the cylinders, problem triggered by the first problem). Note that none of those issues were listed in the diagnosis list provided by Tom Roush Mazda. Both issues are widely know by Mazda, and there is even warranty offered to repair those issues (According to the Mazda Service Support System).Concluding, I paid for an accurate diagnosis of a problem, and instead, I got an extensive list of any issue not related whatsoever to the main problem. In other words, I paid for a service that I never received.Using an analogy: if you go to the cardiologist, you are not requesting advice about your haircut or your clothing choice; you may appreciate the advice, but not as a substitute to your heart condition.*****************************************************************Response from the owner 7 hours agoFernando, We pride ourselves on giving our customers the best in service and care. I can see from you review that you feel that was not the case here. Please contact Matt our Service Manager here at the dealership to further review this. Thanks again for taking time to leave this review and your concerns.**** Replying to the response from Tom Roush on 1/9/2021****Greetings,There is a great feeling in taking pride in work well done. Unfortunately, this is clearly not the case.Mr. Jeff Duncan politely advised me to contact Matt to bring the situation to his attention, in response to my original email. After calling back and forth, without any success, I took my car to a trusted mechanic, which explains why contacting Matt at this moment is pointless. I base my relationships on trust, and after being charged for a service that wasnt provided, (the diagnostic to the issue mentioned above), my trust in Tom Roush got severely corroded. I fairly allowed the dealership to do things right when I brought my vehicle for the diagnostic, but the delivery was far from satisfactory, which forced me to seek a different alternative. I deeply advise you to pay attention to those details and bring excellent service to whoever is next in line, rather than try to address the case privately once somebody writes a review about bad service. We only have one chance of making a first impression.

I try to not complain, but Im really not happy with the way my car service appointment was handled. I called to schedule an appointment for a safety recall and to fix some warping on my dash. When I called to make my appointment, I asked them if they needed my car information (VIN #, year, model, etc.) I was told it wasnt needed. To be fair, weve taken my husbands car there in the past, so Im assuming they thought it was the same vehicle although I mentioned that it wasnt on the call. I received an auto generated email with my husbands car info on it, so I responded to the email and said that their information was incorrect, and went ahead and gave them my cars info and recall/dash issue information.... no response. I then called two days prior to the appointment just to confirm that they really didnt need my cars info, no one answered so I left a voicemail. No response.I dropped it off for the appointment on a Friday morning, got to work, and someone called and asked if I scheduled this appointment, because they would need to the order parts. I explained the above situation of events, and was told it would be Tuesday before it was done. I said fine, just get it done and call me when youre finished. Tuesday comes and goes, and no call. I called Wednesday evening to check on it, they said it wasnt finished yet and would be done tomorrow (Thursday). So then Thursday came and went, and I called again to inquire, and was told it still wasnt ready, and would be done by tomorrow at lunch time (Friday). Friday also then came and went, so I called again to check, and was told it still wasnt done, and that I could pick up a loaner vehicle on Saturday for the inconvenience. However I did get a call on Saturday morning stating that it was finally done. So I make the trip over and pick it up. There are three screws (no idea where they came from or where they belonged) sitting on my floor board, as well as foam sticking up near the window of the dash they replaced. I get it, it was a tough job - they mentioned that, and they werent being paid for the work due tonit being a recall/warranty, but to wait a week for a job and it not even be done right is a complete disappointment. I wont be returning here again.Proactive communication on the issue would have been nice instead of having to have me call every day to figure out why the timeline I was given on 4 separate occasions, was not accurate. Overall just poor customer service.

Excellent, no pressure, buying experience. The Tom Roush sales representative I worked with was Jonny Much. He knows what hes doing, hes enthusiastic, and hes extremely easy to work with. I got an excellent deal on what I believe is an outstanding car (a Mazda 6). Thank you.

Went to look at a 2018Miata. Spoke with salesman twice that I was 3 hours away, would he do a walk a round and let me know if there were any dents, scratches, chips, etc... before making the drive. When I got there, you guessed it. Literally more chips than I could count, door dings, numerous scratches, most deep, gouge on front end, a couple really big scuffs, this thing was ROUGH. Moral of the story? Don’t trust these guys.

So friendly-an enjoyable experience all around. Marco was a wonderful person to work with from beginning to end. Brock in finance was very pleasant to work with too. My husband and I highly recommend this location. Nothing but positive experiences. Two thumbs up! Love my new (to me) car!

The Tom Roush dealership is a very friendly place to visit. I have found their staff to be very helpful, and there visitor area, or waiting area, is very well equipped with drinks such as coffee and water and various snacks. Also, there is free WiFi available while youre waiting for your vehicle to be readied.

If you are looking to buy a new SUV: Go to Tom Roush Mazda and try a CX5. Weve been driving Honda CRVs for years, and Mazdas doing SUVs as good or better than Honda (and the CX5s are just way cooler, IMO).And if youre thinking about a Nissan, go in and ask for Andre Kennedy. He was our sales agent for the CX5, and is so good hes been promoted to manage the Nissan operation at Tom Roush in Westfield. We are not certain if he ever sleeps. If you get any other vehicle, people might cover it with Post-It notes, and you dont want that to happen.

Had some issues with our truck that required us to return to have them addressed; however, the service department was phenomenal. Our service advisor, Scott, and the technician working on our vehicle explained everything thoroughly and made sure we were taken care of. The tech, Drew, showed us exactly what was wrong and what repairs would be made. The team at Tom Roush made our experience wonderful and our truck is running better than ever.

Amazing experience! Tom Roush Mazda has a fantastic sales staff. Becky, Pete, and Tareck treated me with kindness and respect. They did not try to pressure or up sell me. This is my second time purchasing a vehicle here, and this time was even better than the first, which was also great! 12/10 Would HIGHLY recommend!

I absolutely love this location. The Service Department and my Advisor, Tammy, are amazing. The only place that touches my Lincoln (they still have Lincoln specialized mechanics at this location). Customer Service compares to none. I’d give them 20 stars if I could. Tammy, my advisor, definitely deserves recognition. Did I tell you that she is amazing? She is!!!

Nothing but professional service. Came in for oil change and tire rotation in and out in an hour. Told them i had a fob battery warning and replaced the battery. Bonus was a video of my 201 cx5 sent to my email where the mechanic was showing me what he was doing. Lease is up next year and will definitely be back for a 2021...

I highly recommend working with Bob and Joe at Tom Rousch Budget Center. They were friendly and honest. They listened to what I was looking for in a vehicle and a payment and helped me achieve those goals. The guys were also very patient with me and didnt push for a quick decision.
