Took our car in to get a tire fixed that had a nail in it when they opened, with 2 cars ahead. Never received a call for an update until I called them hours later. They said they didnt have an update and said they were slammed and only had 1 person there fixing cars. Called the next day and they said oh yeah it was done yesterday. Picked up the car and noticed the steering wheel was shaking back and forth. Got home and had a flat tire. It seems they didnt even fix the issue, and charged me $30. Not sure why I even took the car here and not Penske Honda where Penske provides great service.

John has been here since they opened the location and he is invested in seeing folks and their automobiles taken care of the right way. Never pushy with expensive recommendations - we have been long time customers. The current climate for service shops is tough due to lack of available staff, but John manages it quite well. Very satisfied.

I have used CAR X in Westfield for a few years now. The service is great. The store is clean as are the bathrooms. John and staff are always friendly and professional. I definitely recommend the Westfield location over the othersI used the fishers location on Allisonville Rd years ago. Lets just say I am very happy I went to the Westfield location.

Had a leak in my golf cart tire. I called Firestone and they wouldnt work on golf cart tires. I called this Car-X location and they were very willing to work on my tire. I took it in immediately and they completed the repair quickly and professionally. They stepped up and helped me out. I will bring other business to them.

If I could leave no stars I would this place is so unethical and will cheat you and cost you thousands of dollars in repairs after the fact. I’d like to go for a couple years now but after my daughter went down there with her car a week ago she’s 18 years old and they lie to her and said that she needed all this extra repairs on her car when she didn’t need none of it . I had to unleash the truth, because the truth will set you free. Bottom line is steer clear of this place and the people they hire . There’s more to be revealed

Great place! I go here for oil changes and the in and out times feel like 10 mins! The staff here are all friendly, knowledgeable and will at times apply coupons for you if you dont have one. In short, this place is Top Notch!

I went to carx for the first time for an emergency oil change and I was little thrown off by their express lane operation. It frustrated me because there’s nowhere to go if the line goes to the edge of the parking lot. The next day I noticed an oil spot on my driveway, at work, and my girlfriend’s house. I immediately went back to them the next day. I was expecting to wait in the express lane line which was all the way to the street but I went in and they let me go in one of the open spaces in their garage and all it was was a loose oil cap. They topped me off and tightened it and we’re very apologetic and gave me a complementary oil change for next time. Their customer service will bring me back

CAR ALIGNMENTOk I havent come to this shop for tires, it was just for alignment. Since I changed the rear toe control arm on my Honda Accord 2008, obviously I knew I had to do the alignment specially on the rear tires so I came to this place and drop my car and I let the guy in the front to please work on the rear wheels since I worked on the suspension. And he said Ok well do They asked me to come the next day since they had some costumers before me.So They called me the next day to tell me my car was ready and l asked him, Did you work on the rear wheels? And he said yes, your car is ready. So I came to the shop and when I showed up firt thing I do was come to my car and I noticed the wheels were not even straight! So before picked I asked again did you work on the rear wheels and he said yes, so I took my car home and obviously they didnt do anything on the rear wheels, I could feel it, and you know how dangerous is driving a car with no alignment, I was so upset because I was just wasting my time. so I had to head back and thanks God the manager was there and I explained him what happened. They had to pull my car back in and finally they did some work on the rear wheels. The car now runs better but still I can tell it was not a good alignment at all. Even the steering wheel is not aligned. So I wouldn’t recommend this place for an alignment, you gonna wast your time and you moneyOnce again my review is just for alignment and service because they didn’t apologize for what happened.Just updating my review. here I’m leaving a couple pictures of my tires after 6 weeks.Worst place ever.Last weekend I decided to take my car to a different place to do the correct alignment and when they looked up on my tires they said. Buddy you need new ones. And I was like WHAT?Yes I paid $80 for alignment here and now I have to buy new tires. Oh wow thank you guys. I definitely not recommend this place.How they dare you to charge you for a kind of work like this.So please safe your time, your money and your tires.

Oil changed might be ok, don’t go here for anything else. I have received 2 bad interstate batteries. I believe unable to prove but they are giving out used or 1/2 charged batteries. This past one is only 3 weeks old. I have had my alternator tested so no it is not that. Battery was tested which is bad. I also brought in my company van in for battery replacement several months ago to find out after my vehicle would not start or turn over they cross threaded by ground/negative battery screw in my vehicle and I had too get a new negative cable ran. Thanks Carx for costing me more money. Never go back!

The service guy was not wearing a mask . Your site says your staff all wear them. This isnt safe . The oil change was fast which is good .But please have your staff wear masks Thank you

My breaks went out on our car back in 07/2020 and we had it towed to the Westfield CarX. It was fixed there and we paid a little under $800 for that and one or two other repairs. I called back asking about the shaking that was happening after I picked it up to see if it was normal. I was told that it was the breaks settling in. It kept shaking and I took it to another mechanic that told us the back right brake line was zip-tied to the back trailing arm! Not safe at all.Two times (original visit and follow-up phone call) I asked CarX if there were any other things on the car that needed to be fixed and I was told no. Our mechanic also found that the hub bearings, left and right outer tire rod ends, front left brake rotor, and back brake lines needed to be repaired as well even though CarX said there were no other issues. My rotors were warped among other things! I also had Firestone check this out and they said they found the bearings, tires, and rotors to be in need of repair. Our mechanic charged us $330 total for all the repairs.When I called finally and talk to the regional manager he said the best they could do was refund me $50 for the labor my mechanic did. I had to be insistent that these were serious issues and they did not seem to share my sense of concern. After this he offered me another $50 for my “time in frustration.” This was after he told me that I kept all of his parts and never returned them. After talking to friends it turns out that this is not uncommon and I am just one of many that have been scammed and taken advantage of in the automobile repair industry. If you are looking for an honest repair discount auto service in Noblesville is amazing! He’s been very willing to work with us as we try to navigate this whole mess.Now you all know- be very careful when taking your car to CarX for anything more than an oil change. I do not recommend them for any other services, and their lack of concern in this matter is disheartening, disappointing, and honestly unsafe. After being in a head on collision once before I am uptight about car safety and the idea that my brakes could’ve gone out because of their negligence followed up by the lack of caring is, at its roots, concerning

We typically always get our oil changed here and not too long ago my brake light came on so we had car-x check it out and they did. It just needed to be reset. They didn’t charge me for that. So when my husband’s truck started leaking gas we called Car-x. We were told it would be at least a three hour labor bill plus parts. We were pleasantly surprised with the cost and the quality of work! Kudos to John and his crew in Westfield Indiana.

Ive gone to this specific Car-X for about 4 years now. First it was convenience of living close-by, but now I drive out of my way to ave them service my car. Ive yet to have a negative experience with them, even when the news they are telling me isnt the greatest news. Ill continue to come back here for as long as my car needs fixing.

Im picky when looking for someone to work on my car. I recently moved here and had previously used a Car-X near my old home. Ive been pleased with both. The only thing Ill knock this location for is the inattention to the condition of the car. I notice a few new scratches and scuffs on the door panel and rocker panel each time its there for service from the techs shoes kicking or dragging on panels when getting in or out of the vehicle. Sure, the car is 12 years old with 175,000mi on it. But Ive tried keeping it looking new and have succeeded thus far. Im not mad, but Id love to see additional attention around the aesthetic care of the vehicle while its being serviced.

Im taking an unexpected trip to PA in a 19 year old car & just found out that my front bright lights were out & rear brake light was out. Ill be traveling alone with my little service dog. It was in the afternoon on Friday that I realized the problem. Id never used Car-X before (Westfield on #32) but thought Id give them a try. They were busy but they took me anyway as it would be a short job. I sat down to wait & suddenly I realized I had left my wallet at home on my bed next to suitcase. I explained the embarrassing situation to the staff & they said theyd trust me to pay. I did get wallet & did pay. All the staff & repairmen that I spoke with were very courteous & explained things really well & to boot they had never seen me but took a risk anyway that I would comeback & pay. The rates were very fair & I was satisfied with the work. They are now my Go To Auto Shop.

Been going for years. They do a phenomenal job!

My husband and I called ahead to see if they could change a headlight on our car with a new headlight we already purchased. They said yes, and when we got there, they told us to pull around to the oil change line. No one came outside to see what we needed, so we sat in the car for a few minutes and then headed inside. One employee said to leave the headlight on the podium that was right next to where we were standing. He said it would be done in about an hour because there were other customers in front of us. We left the shop and came back just a few minutes later because we had a weird feeling about something. We sat in the waiting area until our car was up. While waiting, we noticed a few employees smoking while they were working on some cars. There were quite a few flammable aerosoles right near them! That couldve been a huge disaster! Smoking is definitely not permitted in that area so I would advise the store manager to keep a close eye on this location. Finally, an employee in the bay on the other side pulled a car in and another employee underneath the car started to drain the oil! As soon as we saw what was happening, we told them to stop immediately! The oil in the car was just changed last week and we were only there for a new headlight which was still in the package at the podium! We asked the employees what kind of oil they were going to try to put in the car since there was absolutely no paperwork on it. They apologized and said it was habit and topped off the oil with whatever they had. We quickly let them know that was not okay and advised them to check the paperwork before they even touch a car in the future. Now there are two different types of oil in our car which I guess isnt that big of a deal since this is the only time this has happened/ will happen. The employees at this location are not professional at all and are totally oblivious to their surroundings. We will not be back.

AMAZING. I was visiting family in Indy, and had an issue with my car. I called the Ford dealership - they wouldnt even see me. (I told them I always use our Ford dealership here, in Michigan, and also that I was supposed to drive home on Monday. The guy said, Good luck. My husband (who was out of the country) found this place online. They got me right in, and found the issue quickly, and didnt even charge me! If I had driven back to MI with this, I may have blown my engine. I cannot thank, or recommend this place more.

A lot of shops will try to upsell you on parts when you come in for basic tuneups or alignments. In my three experiences with this Car-X location, they have done nothing but be straight and true with what I need at that moment while still giving me additional preventative options for the future. I was specifically impressed by the customer service I received from Dre today. I notice his name a lot in there reviews being discussed in a positive light. Maybe a promotion is in order for Dre? :)

John, the manager, and other staff members are always helpful and courteous. The estimates are fair and in comparison to other repair businesses usually a bit cheaper. Found them truthful in their inspections and explain the problems and repairs that are needed fully. A great business for ladies to take their vehicles for repairs. They dont talk down to you as some others might.

Based on positive reviews we decided to take our car here for a broken stud repair and inspection. We were told earlier in the week due to demand that they do not take Saturday appointments, which is understandable, and to drop it off early Saturday morning so they could get to the vehicle. We dropped off the car at 7:45am, the tech that checked us in and was very nice. Unfortunately, that was the peak of our customer service experience. Around 1pm we called to get a status of the car because we had not heard anything from them. They said we were third in line and would be getting to it soon. Around 4pm we decided to drive to the shop because we knew they closed at 430p, on our way we were called at 4:11pm and they stated they were unable to get our car in today and asked if we would be able to get there before they closed. They stated they were short staffed and did the best they could. I understand being short staffed and I am willing to accept that as reasonable excuse for not getting to our car, it is unacceptable to wait until 20min before closing knowing that you would not be able to get to our car, a fair warning would have been sufficient (ie at the 1pm call). Needless to say this experience is going to force us to take our business elsewhere. I would highly recommend keeping customers in the loop of their repairs in the future.

Took great care of me. Always great friendly service. Recently went on a Sat, place was swamped and my car got mixed in the line up for an oil change. The manager noticed and asked his crew about it and even gave me a discount for my wait. He did all of this on his own accord. I just thought it was busy and would not have noticed. A+ service, highly reccomend.

Called at 8:00am was told “ bring it in now and 45 min wait.” So I got in my car(tire repair needed) maybe a 10min job at the most( nail in the tire, in the middle of the tread. So 1 hour later I asked about my car. “Manager said oh he should not have said that” I said well he did. So I started fuming in my chair, I guess the manager saw me, he grabbed my order and gave to a guy who proceeded to go to the garage finish his coffee and oh of course had a cigarette also some conversation with his coworkers, THEN and ONLY then after that went to get my car. 9:45 am.Note to self...Not returning. We have been frequenting this establishment for 6 years. From oil changes, tire & brakes to troubleshooting intermittent malfunctions, they have always delivered one-visit fixes. On one occasion I was sure I knew what the problem was and asked them to replace specific items, but their careful analysis revealed a simpler root cause, saving me hundreds of dollars. Im grateful for their tried and true service.

I found a groupon for a great deal for a brake job at a competitor. I thought that I knew the company I was going to be taking it to but they botched the brake job. It took me 2 1/2 weeks until they finally told me there wasnt anything they did wrong. I always have gone to Car-X in the past for all of my needs and I decided to take my Jeep there for a second opinion. Joey, at the front counter, did a tremendous job for me. If swear he must have been wearing a cape under his uniform.Joey not only found the root cause of the issue, but he went well above and beyond my expectations. He notified me that they found the issue, what it would take to fix it, got it taken care of, and I drove away with the problem resolved. That is more than I can say for the other company.Joey handled everything professionally by not bashing the other company and only taking ownership of the work that they did. I have always gone to Car-X before this and will continue in the future.

Install parts, install tires, sell tires, driveshafts, whatever.... they look up the labor, quote a reasonable price and dont lie to make a bigger bill. I have been to Car-X multiple times and each time they have gone out of their way to fix or diagnose any problem I have had. They have even done some labor intensive diagnostics without charging me. They could have easily told me something serious was wrong with my car instead of the small fix that was needed so I find them to be trustworthy, as well.Their waiting room is clean, the staff is polite and attentive and I couldnt ask for more from a car repair shop. Their prices are also very reasonable.

Westfield Car-X is totally awesome. John the manager cares about customer service and stands by their work 1000%. They provide a detailed analysis of your problem and repair cost is fair. Took our car in for front brakes and alignment. Car only has 120k miles. With coupons would run around $160. I was called and told I need to spend $1200 to fix my front end or couldn’t align. I immediately called my husband. He called and told them just to do brakes and that was it. Then they called and said they damaged one of the rotors so would give us a deal if $35 per side. Who knows if rotors even needed replacing. $178 later I have my car back. No noise or front end issues. This place is a scam. Cheap coupons to get you in the door and then try to sell you parts you don’t need. Also people at counter very dirty. Beware!

Paid for a vehicle inspection before I bought a used car, had minor issues that they discovered. The vehicle had its computer reset so that the errors wouldnt show up. They didnt look beyond this and I bought a vehicle with a bad catalytic converter, leaking oil from gaskets, etc because I trusted Car-x thoroughness.

They do great on brakes and oil changes. Anything else, go to real mechanics. had a heater core replaced which required removing dash. they somehow managed to squash my air conditioning so I barely have air conditioning now. They left wires hanging under the dash. I took it in and had them do some stuff and check on a noise I was hearing underneath. They took it for a drive before they did the stuff. they took it for a drive after they did the stuff. They said they couldnt determine cause of noise. I found out what was causing the noise the next day while I was driving to another mechanic shop. My wheel fell off. Called them up. They said not their problem. Needed a new aftermarket alloy wheel ($400.00) caliper, brake, rotor. Needless to say, this will be the last time I go there for anything. I am telling everyone I know of my experience (and I know a lot of people). Whatever it would have cost them to do the right thing, Im guessing itll will cost them more in the end.

Sadly I can not leave the review I had wanted. I have three cars and my first experience was great. I suggested my mom take her car there for a tire leak and some front end work. She took it in and was asked to drop it off the next morning. The tech took notes as to what was needed, the next morning she dropped the car in a bit of a rush as her ride was waiting on her. Once we picked up the car we found they never looked at the tire when we asked why the man at the front desk got rude fast about how she barely spoke to him when dropping the car when we said he took notes the day before he then proceeded to tell us that didnt matter it was a different day and she shouldnt have came in and been in such a rush this morning. His rude behavior will be the reason I do not bring anymore of my business this way. Unfortunately the mechanic was very nice but the front desk is the face of the company.

Sat in line for 40 mins next one up and I left...I DO NOT want someone who is smoking while working on my vehicle...very unprofessional and going elsewhere...

I literally drive an extra 45 minutes, past 2 other car x to come to this one. You can honestly trust these people to take care of your car and tell you the truth.

I went there for an estimate. My stablizer link needed replaced, and they wanted to charge $209, which is rather high considering the inexpensive parts and short amount of time to fix it. I offered to pay them for the inspection since I was declining their quote. They ended up damaging it so bad, making it hard for someone else to work on it. Im entirely disappointed in their lack of ethics. Shame on me for being honest with them.

They charged me 500$ for new power steering pump and for a serpentine belt replacement. Then when i went to pick up the car it had massive problems with hesitating when i tried to go faster than 30 m.p.h. so I took it back to them to look at it they said the timing was out and I needed a new tensioner on the belt they charged me 800$ in total for that repair. Then a few days later they called me again to say my car failed a diagnostic test and that me engine had valve damage. They claimed it would be another 1300$ to fix valve damage. Long story short I took it to a family friend in Anderson and had it fixed by them.

Service was prompt. Staff was somewhat professional. What’s the problem then? After I got my oil changed I no longer had the bolts in my splash guard/engine cover. After just a few miles I noticed that I was dragging on small inclines. Replaced the bolts myself and now I won’t go back.
