I had a flat tire that could not be repaired (needed new) I called around to a few places and everything was booked for days, including Mavis, but Mona said if I could get there now they could fit me in.I rarely write reviews but the service, communication and attention to detail was so above and beyond- at a tire store! Gordon and his team are just lovely people. If you hate going to places like this for tires or oil changes Mavis in Westfield on South Ave will change your mind.

I had a punctured tire on a Friday evening and was traveling the next day. They were able to get me in and fix the tire less than an hour before they closed. They were incredibly helpful and understanding the whole time. Would definitely return with future issues.

Stopped in without an appointment, the lot was fully packed and there was just one space. We needed two new tires and even though I said there was no real rush, I also added it would be a little more convenient for my schedule if done within 2 hours. Gordon at the front desk was very courteous and helped us out and was able to get the work done within two hours. Overall the experience was quick, easy, and fairly priced.

Mavis at Westfield was a great. They stood by my appointment, kept me up to date on everything they were doing, when they started and how long it would take, even though they were short handed. They kept thanking me for being patient, and I told them there was not need to, for everyone was so personable. When service is needed again, I will be back. Great JOB!!

Very pleasant experience, which is rare for auto repair! Look. I understand that car repairs cost a lot of money. You have to understand that going in. Rashid (Im sorry if Ive misspelled) took the time to look at all of my concerns, and pointed out other concerns. But most importantly, NOBODY TRIED TO SELL ME EXTRA REPAIRS. They did exactly what I requested to be done, marked down on the receipt other suggested repairs, and said good day. The fact that Im free to (or not to) go back to them for their suggested repairs screams honesty and empathy. Thank you.

I called on a Wednesday for an appointment for an oil change. I told the person on the phone I could bring in my car at 10:15 and needed it done in under an hour. Was that possible? He said, yes of course. I asked which day would be better, Thursday or Friday? He said, definitely Thursday.So I bring my car by today (Thursday) at 10:15. After waiting 6-7 minutes for the gentleman at the desk to end his phone call, I tell him I have an appointment, and would my car be ready by 11:00? He said, there was no way that could happen. Would I like to reschedule? lol noClearly, making an appointment here is futile. Trusting the word of whoever makes the appointments was obviously a bad idea, because theyll just say whatever you want to hear to make the appointment.Since this is a one-star review, Im sure Ill get some kind of response from a manager or someone. You can save it. Im not coming back. You wasted my time, so I have no reason to do business with you.

I am incredibly happy with the quality and pricing of services at Mavis and especially the expertise of Rashid. We have high end BMWs and Audis in our family fleet. We find that the service diagnoses are always spot on and often peripheral extras that would cost us hundreds and sometimes thousands more at the dealers are unnecessary. We have used dealers and foreign car specialists and Rashids knowledge is on par with the most senior service managers at the dealers. Repairs and adjustments have always been done perfectly. The prices have been exceptionally fair and even low! If you want first class honest service, then make sure to talk with Rashid.

My parents had come into town and just as they got here a tire had popped on their car Saturday in the late afternoon....they were planning to leave very early on Sunday for an event and thus a major problem was born.I had called about 3 auto places, 2 had no appointments even available until Monday and one didnt have anything in inventory but the fourth place we called turned out to be the best by far.Not only did they have good inventory but they offered to slot us in and get us going early Sunday even though they were swamped with appointments too and sure enough they stuck to their word and the wheels were good as new.Major shoutout to Mona and Rashid who were super friendly, quick and made this store the first place I go to for any future car/tire problems.

Bad experience. They quoted me $800 for rear wheel bearings. I shopped around the price and found a local mechanic offering $400. ($200 for parts and two hours of labor at $100). I told Mavis I wasn’t going to use their service and after I drove my car home I realized a few lug nuts on my rear tire were loose and the hood was still open.Seems like they were trying to get one over...

Went to this location in Westfield for an oil change and was very pleased with the service. They didnt try to get me to spend extra money unnecessarily (as has been my experience at other shops), and had my car back to me within a reasonable amount of time. The two gentlemen who helped me, Gordon and Rashid, were super nice and helpful, and made my experience an easy one. I will be returning for future car maintenance.

Very good service & fair prices. The only negative for me was when I did an oil change on my minivan the young inexperienced tech did not tighten the oil drain plug properly so my vehicle started to leak oil slowly in my driveway. I recommend to do a self inspection after the job is done to make sure everything is up to par. Other than that I would recommend this shop. On this visit I had them install new rotors & pads I bought from Amazon. Installation was $100.

I had a leak in my tire and came in to Mavis. They estimated me a very affordable price for a new tire. I came in the next day to have it replaced and they realized the tire could be fixed without replacing. When I arrived to pick the car up Mona was very kind and let me know they could fix it! I would highly recommend coming to Mavis and working with Mona! Thank you!

The back rear tires on my Toyota Corolla was flat so I called around to a few places to see what can be done. When I spoke with Gordon at Mavis Discount Tire, he told me to come on down and he would take care of it.After having my car towed to Mavis, Gordon told me he would do whatever he could that day (if possible) and get back to me. I dropped it off around 3pm and less than two hours later he called to tell me that he was looking at it and that hed call me back with more info. 15 minutes later, Gordon called to tell me that not only was my tire fixable, but it was already fixed! Apparently I had a nail in my tire, which is what it looked like from my amateur point of view.I wasnt able to pick up the car night so I asked if I could pick it up sometime the next day. Gordon told me that was totally fine. When I picked up my car, it took less than two minutes to pay and be on my way. I was also told that my front two tires are pretty worn down but I should be good until the winter. So, Ill be back soon!

Ive had a terrible experience with a Mavis in my hometown before. I never thought Id go back to the franchise, but this specific Mavis has changed my perspective that not all Mavis Discount Tires are the same. The girl in the front is super professional and knows what shes talking about. The store manager and employees I spoke with all are knowledgeable on a variety of subjects related to car issues, or they specialize in specific issues. They only suggested what I needed to get repaired/changed, and did not try to up-charge me. I know because I had my car checked at another mechanic prior to going to this Mavis. This was one of the most important parts of establishing trust with this Mavis. Im glad I gave this specific Mavis a chance. This is the only Mavis I will be coming back to because of their exceptional service and professionalism. Thanks again!

I always receive great customer service at Mavis. I feel comfortable leaving my car in their hands and I drive a 2003 Honda Civic. As for car service, they are honest about what needs to be done and call and explain what the car needs or what can wait. Overall, highly recommend this Mavis!

The shop was backed up and they were light on staff due to COVID. They managed to take my truck in, remove the tire, diagnose and plug the nail hole. 20 minutes from start to end. Ive been going to this location for years because that is the experience I have every time.
