Steve Kennedy at Mattress Warehouse was a huge help when we were picking out a new mattress for our mother who had recently been discharged from the hospital after a fall. He educated us on all of the options and the importance of good sleep. He was fair in the pricing and options, etc. We will definitely be returning when the time comes for more mattresses.
When we decided to purchase a new mattress we knew we wanted to support a local business. This was the second mattress store we went to. Steve was very pleasant and friendly. He wasnt pushy or overbearing like the previous salesperson we dealt with earlier at a different store. He was very helpful and informative! Would highly recommend!
Steve Kennedy was awesome. He is a very knowledgeable sales person and doesnt apply pressure to force you to buy something, which is exactly why we purchased from him. He worked with us, determined what was best suited for us and sold us the perfect beds to fit our needs. We went in to buy 1 mattress and after Steve worked with us we ended up buying 2 mattresses and zero gravity frames from him because of our trust in him. We did shop around, but decided to buy from Steve because of the way he represented himself and his company. He took great care of us and explained everything to us in detail. I had done a lot of online research on the bed I wanted to purchase and Mattress Warehouse had not even made the short list. My husband happened to stop by and Gilda Ramos owner of the Washington, PA store went through the bed match with us and I discovered that researching a bed online was much different than being able to try it in person and work with an expert.My husband and I had a wonderful experience, got a much better deal than we would have and found the perfect bed. Gilda is a phenomenal sales person. She gave us a great deal on exactly the mattress we needed.I originally gave a good review but the service after the sale changed my mind. Mistakes with the order, delivery, and billing. What should have been a quick and easy purchase, became multiple phone calls and trips to the store.

Who knew trying to return a mattress could be so difficult. I phoned Gilda multiple times after she said she would talk to her manager and call me back. Too bad it’s been a week and I’m still waiting to hear from her. I dropped off 2 pillows that I paid $300 for and have yet to be credited for them. This company preaches customer service but she hung up on my husband and refuses to answer our calls. We absolutely hate our mattress but will have to wait for 30 days to consider getting an exchange. It’s been a very frustrating process. We spent a good deal of money here and are very unhappy with the quality of product and lack of customer service from the manager. Oh, she also encouraged us to jump on the bed and rotate it daily to see better results...what if we were an older couple? That wouldn’t happen. Very disappointed and it was a mistake ever walking into the store in the first place.

Went a few days ago and looked at a few mattress’s and we weren’t finding anything with in a reasonable price. Two days later my phone rings and Jeff from the Washington store calls and says he got us a Sealy Welcome softness plush mattress and box spring for only $499.99! I couldn’t have had a better experience or salesman! 5 stars for sure! It’s nice to know that companies still want satisfaction instead of your wallet!

Never again, we put a bed on layaway and ended up not needing it. We cancelled the order and was told we would be refunded in 7-10 business days, I am completely fine with this. We told the women our card we used to pay had fraud on it so she couldn’t refund it as it no longer exists. She said do not worry they will refund your banking account directly, we questioned this but she assured us it would be there in 7-10 business days. We waited with no refund, I called the corporate office and they showed that we cancelled the bed but no refund was started. They then said 7-10 business days it would be to us so we waited and nothing came. I called again and was told that it was declined the refund due to my card no longer existing.... you know like we told the women in the beginning.. They then said they would send out a 3rd party check to us, it would be our next week. I called the next week to see if it was sent out, I was told they see it is in process but no it has not been sent out. Throughout this entire process I have asked to speak to managers at the local store where I first went as well as the corporate office. I have left voicemails for the manager and also emails on their website. No one has returned my calls, the women in customer service said I don’t know what a manger would do that be can’t. At this point I’m not sure if I’ll ever get my refund, we are going on almost 2 months with no refund. This company is the saddest excuse for a company and I really hope that they fix their issues in all departments.Not shocked at all... they commented on here and told me to email them... I did with no reply!

Only giving it one star because I have to. STAY AWAY from this place... We have had nothing but problems from day one. The only reason why there is so many 5 stars is because they tell you to do this because they give you a free mattress protector...only after selling you one. They messed up our order TWICE and told us so many lies about the price. Go somewhere else. This place is a joke.
Store is mis managed. Every employee is on a different page. If i could give less than a star i would. Manager Derek dosent run the store like a manager should and has no information or gives out wrong information. I had to call another store to get questions answered.We were originally told that we could get a delivery, then told we were out of service area, so we set up for pick up, no biggie. On the day for pick up, we called to make sure what time we could come in, we spoke with Derek, only to bbn inform us that the mattress is still in Maryland and was set up for delivery.We said thats impossible because we were out of service area, and he guaranteed us we werent. LIE!2weeks and stil no mattress.Corporate better get in a nice comfortable chair and listen up, they will be hearing from us!

Had a truly wonderful sales lady named GILDA. Went in she showed me a few models. Asked if I had any health issues. Told her I have sleep apnea. She recommended one of the new Sealy mattress. I tried it out so I bought it.

Our experience at MW started off nicely. We stopped in to look at mattresses within the first few days of the store opening. After taking our bed match test, and laying on some different models we eventually decided on a Kingsdown* with an adjustable base. We loved it at the store. Our first nights sleep on it couldnt come soon enough! They tell us it will be delivered on the following Tuesday. MW does not remove the old bed, so my husband took our old bed and threw it out on Monday night. After a night on the blow up mattress we were thrilled to finally have a new bed.This is were things START to get ugly. The base was back ordered. The best that could be done was to bring the mattress on Thursday and the base on Saturday. We agreed. Wednesday night we get a call from the store from someone wanting to schedule our delivery. The Thursday/Saturday thing was never scheduled. Now the best they can do is Tuesday. We should have shut the whole thing down right then and there but we were desperate, and after weighing the choices, we agreed. Eight nights of air mattress sleeping later, the bed shows up. We were excited, although we didnt sleep as well as we had expected. In fact, 2 weeks into that new bed and I sleep worse each night that the previous. I want to go back to the air mattress. The bed is a nightmare. Where you would sit down on the bed to get into the bed there is a hollow ridge that runs horizontally from one side to the other. You sit down and sink to the bottom. The sides of the bed fall down, making you feel like you are going to fall off the bed. The middle has a huge hump after said hollow trough. We took measurements and pictures and my husband took them into the store and talked to the newly appointed manager, Gilda. She was very nice and assured him that they could help us. We were initially informed that the policy is to wait 20 days before you can start the process of returning a bed, to ensure that you give it and yourself time to get used to it. Gilda said they would wave that and get things in motion right away and that she would be in touch with the DM. We follow up by returning to the store to pick out a different mattress, so that this expedited exchange could go off without a hitch. Gilda said they would send out an adjuster at the beginning of this week to look at our bed. After not hearing back from her my husband visited the store yet again yesterday evening. Gilda was not in. Now we are dealing with Thomas. Thomas informs my husband that the waiting period is not 20, but 30 days to start to issue an exchange and continues to ask what we dont like about the bed, is it too soft, too firm.... Completely missing the issue. It is not a preference issue. If the bed was uniform there would be no issues. Some places are firm and some are hollow. As it turns out, according to Thomas, Gilda had done no leg work on our issue that he could find evidence of. We are waiting to hear back from a claim my husband submitted via email to the beds warranty department. This bed was thousands of dollars, and we havent slept well in weeks. I know this is an excruciatingly long review, but it has been a truly horrible experience and I dont want others to have to go through this. It is true that the bed issues are not MATTRESS WAREHOUSES fault, the incompetence on behalf of the staff at the Washington, PA location could have been avoided. This is not a good way to begin a relationship with Washington PA.*The model of our bed is the Kingsdown River Oaks*Update* My contact information was sent shortly after receiving a response from Mattress Warehouse and have yet to hear from them.

Mattress set was supposed to be in on October 4 for me to pick up. Informed me it didn’t show. I explained that I needed it for my Mom as she was moving into a new apartment on Saturday the 6th Alyson said she would try to have it shipped in special from Maryland and deliver on the 6. I said good luck with that. I’ll be damned it was delivered when they said it would. A big shout out to Alyson. Great customer service in a pinch. Thank You. Joe Zahn.
