The customer service in the store was very good. We did a full walk around of the couch before purchase in the store to ensure there was no damage before delivery. The delivery of our couch was not as good. When the delivery truck arrived and opened the back we noticed our couch was not covered with anything to protect it during transport. The delivery men brought the couch in and placed it where we wanted it but upon further inspection we notice some damage to the couch that was not there when we purchased it. There were cuts and scraps in the leather couch from transport. When we notified the delivery men they tried to ‘rub’ the damage out with their hand and even brought in a marker to try and cover the damage but we stopped them. We noted the damage on the delivery form and emailed the company. Their first question to us was if we took before pictures in the store to prove that damage was not there before. Then they asked if we had notified the delivery men upon delivery. After we responded to their email we have had no response from them on corrective action or how to fix this issue.
Experience in the store was good. Quality furniture. Poor delivery timeframe, 10 am - 5 pm and I was the first appointment to be scheduled for my selected delivery date. The drivers they hire for delivery need to be trained in quality customer service. I was not told at the store that the additional fees I paid would not cover moving a dresser and headboard down 6 steps. When the crew arrived, they inspected where they will be bringing the furniture. At that time I was told about them not being able to touch anything. So, I called the store to discuss. The guy at the store wanted to speak with the driver. I hand the phone to the driver and they discuss in their language. They driver, angrily, hands me the phone back. I am back on the phone with the salesperson who continues to say that they can leave the furniture where I need it, but they can’t move anything. So, I politely tell him that I want a refund of my additional fees and I will be in the store to speak with the manager. I guess the driver and salesperson made amends because they ended up moving the stuff. For that, I added a star back to the rating. Thanks.
Thus far, Ive had a GREAT interaction with the Waldorf store staff....although my delivery is in process, ....thus far, I have ABSOLUTELY no complaints. I love my bedroom set, great price and simply lovely.
I will never purchase from this company and wouldn’t refer ANYONE here. I recommend the location in Greenbelt as it seems more legit and better customer service. I wish i did my research before purchasing. My bf and I were in the mall and came across this store. I just recently moved and needed a bed set so decided to look around and while leaving I found the perfect set. I applied and was approved instantly and the owner who first told me no deliveries available until the week after but then told me he had one Thursday morning so we scheduled it and I had to take off work for the delivery. The day before my scheduled delivery I received a call from the delivery people at 430 Pm saying that they don’t have any drivers and they wouldn’t be able to come in. I called the store and spoke with the same man who sold me the bedset and explained to him that this wouldn’t work for me because I already took off work and I won’t be doing it again. He then gets NASTY and HOSTILE cussing and saying “it’s only one more day off work you need to take off for your delivery I don’t care about your personal life! I immediately called the finance company after I told him to cancel the order for rude and nasty customer service. The finance department was nice and called him on 3 way and he YELLED AND HUNG UP IN OUR EAR.. they couldn’t void anything without his ok which he of course wouldn’t do. This led me and my boyfriend to look at some reviews on their Facebook where I saw Dozens of people were not satisfied with their experience and he refused to refund and treated then nastily as well. The only reason I kept the set is because the nice delivery guy called me saying he had a Saturday morning and I didn’t want the hassle of arguing with him but i will NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING HERE AGAIN. Absolutely disgusting
