I have been using Tires Plus for 20 plus years. My experience at the Venice Florida Tires Plus well end the my relationship with Tires Plus, after 1600.00 for 4 tires, less than 300 miles and 2 months later, my tire came apart,not punctured, not a hole but split. Tires Plus Said for 299 they can take care of that! No thank you! I will take my busy to a company who backs their productGone girl

This shop is evidently the busiest tire place is Venice and has zero ability to accommodate any last minute inconvenience on the part of the customer. They dont hesitate to inconvenience YOU by making you wait but dont dare have the audacity to have an issue of your own.

Absolutely wonderful employees! I highly recommend this location.I recently had to have my car towed there, after a flat tire. There were complications with getting off the flat tire due to locked lug-nuts, that were unfortunately stripped by the last mechanic that worked on it at a different business.The extremely kind mechanic that worked on it this day at tires plus, he worked on it for almost 3 hours manually chipping away at the locked lug nut to get it off. It was my daughter‘s birthday, and we were out of town, so we would have been stuck in that city, or forced to get a rental and leave my car if he wouldn’t have put in the long hours of work trying to get it off.I really appreciate what he did for us, he was super kind.(COVID-19 Update) their follow social distancing and enforce masks both for their employees and their customers.

David Silva was very accommodating to our services today. We needed a new tire mounted and was estimated at an hour long wait - we expressed it was urgent and David went out of his way to mount the tire on himself and was done within 15 mins.He went above and beyond for us to make sure we were satisfied customers. Also - he kindly dealt with us outside of the building and gave us the option for a contactless pay, which was great because of my medical exemption to wearing a mask.

Unhuman company policies, just because there was a defective plug in my tire, they did not fix and didnt even helped install the spare, they watched me struggle until I did, down 41 in another tire Shop got fixed, for $25 they removed, patch and fixed me on my way home. I would never ever put a single pennie in Tires Plus - good luck running your business

If i could give zero stars i would. 2nd time they didnt do what was supposed to be done. They told me my tires were rotated and it wasnt done. Brakes were not done, alignment not done. The customer service is horrible. They dont care. I have been a customer for a long time, but I will never go back to Tires Plus. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THESE PEOPLE, they will screw it up..Congratulations, you lost a great customer forever!

Horrible service. Called for tire installation, spoke with Warren - he said he had today at 11am or 12pm, we opted for 11am. We get to the store with tires and find out he said he could not do them today ans lied about the appointment being tomorrow and also misquoted the tire install ... horrible and will NEVER come back to this place. 👎 if I could give them a ZERO star rating I would!! 😡

Just like all the other tire shops in the area . They work on charging you the most money. They Don’t just want to give you a oil change and call it the day . They want to rob your bank account before you leave. Crooks!!!! All of them.

I came in with a donut tire on my vehicle from a flat tire that occurred while traveling from out of town to Venice on Friday afternoon. The staff was very helpful. I think they were short handed so I cannot say the service was fast, it took over two hours to purchase and mount one new tire.

Called to check the status of my vehicle I dropped off early this morning. A man named Greg answered the phone and was very rude to me. I did not feel like he was grateful to have my business or wanted to speak with me at all. He put me on hold after I politely asked about the status of the vehicle. He got back on the line and said Hasnt even been touched yet. in the rudest tone.. I cant!!!!!! I will absolutely not be going to another one of these stores in the future. Not ok to speak with customers like that!!!!!! I was having a good day!!!!! Dont need to be disrespected when there are lots of other places I could be getting my tire replaced at. 1 star for TERRIBLE customer service. Was also told they only have ONE worker so it will be a few more hours. OK... Hire more people?!!!!! I just noticed someone said they only had one worker months ago... How terrible!!! What the heck are you guys doing?

Had to get my tire replaced last night. Reasonably priced. But I didn’t get there until a little after 6, they close at 7 only had two guys working and you could tell they were busy. They originally didn’t think they could replace it that night over heard my husband and i discussing how we were both going to get to work with only one car. The guy went out of this way to get us our tire that night. Very friendly and very helpful. Will definitely go back for other tire needs!

Have had nothing but positive experiences here. Had to replace a tire while on vacation and had to replace all four on a work truck I was driving through the area. The staff was helpful and friendly.

To put it simply, they were the nicest people I have encountered.

Showed up at 10 am appointment to put on 4 tires, that were showing on inventory. But actually there were only 3, so had to reschedule

Cited 2 non existant laws as to why I needed a new tire instead of repairing mine. Cost $250. Went elsewhere. Fixed same day. $30. All is fine. Tire is safe.

Drove here from WI for work pulling a trailer and had my front brakes fail. They got me in right away on Sunday and got the job done quickly. They are open 7 days a week, so it makes it convenient to get work done over the weekend. Very friendly and helpful staff.

For the past 4 yrs I have taken my cars here for service - NEVER have I been disappointed! David Bird and the entire staff of employees have been GREAT - I find their prices reasonable. The service has always been honest and professional - I tried to call into the corporate office to be sure they knew how great this location and their employees are. They never reached out to David or his staff -that is my only disappointment. These guys work hard in the heat and do their best - I really appreciate them and the time they put into my vehicles. I even took my daughters cars there for an honest opinion to be sure the cars were safe for my grandchildren to be in. I cant say enough about their customer service and honest care. First of all, I can see that some of the negative reviews left are by individuals who arent being completely honest about their experieces. You should bring your vehicle here because you can trust them to be honest, and in particular the store manager - Dave. I have been bringing my 3 cars here since 2006 - a Hummer H2, a mustang, and a pickup. I have more than 24 visits here under my belt. Since I care to do most mechanical work myself, I use Tires Plus mostly for tire purchases, mounting/balancing, and front end alignments. I do have considerable mechanical skills and automotive knowledge. As I sit in the waiting area, I have a front row seat to the conversations customers have with the service managers. In many cases where a dishonest shop could profit from certain customers, this one does not - not even close. Customers are given realistic and sound advice. My last visit was just a few days ago - I carried in 4 wheels/tires to have them rebalanced. No appointment needed - I was in and out in 20 minutes. I have never had an issue with any of their work. During only visit was I there a hour longer than I expected, but guess what folks, that is sometimes how things go with vehicle repair shops. Tires Plus has a better on time record than my doctors office by a wide margin.During one visit, they discovered a leak from a rear axle seal. I normally would have replaced it myself later on, but decided to let them do it. They were not able to remove the axle to conduct the repair by no fault of their own (previous owner modified something). They tried for an hour. I was not billed for the attempt, nor the shop supplies used, or the gear oil they had to refill the axle with. In the world of vehicle repairs, you cant make everyone happy all the time, but when it comes to this Tires Plus, you CAN trust them to be honest and they do good work. If you are worried about sending your wife, mother etc. to a place where they wont get ripped off, send them here.

They never have time for me when Ive tried to make appointments in the past year. I call days or even a week ahead ti get in and its like they cant be bothered. I have often gotten we have 1 guy who does the job and hes gone home like 4 times as an excuse. Im over them. Stay away.

I am an M.D. in practice for over twenty years and have only once posted a neg.review. Was a loyal customer under old management. Today I was charged $27 for a requested battery check on a $189 3 MONTH OLD BATTERY, PURCHASED AT TIRES PLUS WITH A FIVE YEAR WARRANTY!!! Then verbally abused...all ON VIDEO!!! STAY AWAY!!!! VIDEO AVAILABLE ON REQUEST. WAITING TO SEE IF MANAGEMENT CONTACTS ME...I DOUBT IT. THEY WILL SEE THIS REVIEW HOWEVER.

I have never posted a negative thing before, I would never go back again, they werent up front with mechanical prices, I was there for almost 3 hrs for they even looked at it, said the car had to cool down wasnt true diagnostic is done from inside, wasnt happy with price, but wanted it done, got back from eating, they had stripped the threads, it was right in front on top I couldnt done it with crescent wrench, the part was 188.oo dollars he wanted 340 when I left, when I got back it was 560,00 the part screws in like a spark plug 5 minute job, he settled for 495 .which was a RIP off never go back not honest sorry

Will never go back! Quoted me a price on a new tire over $100. more than a new place that I went to. They examined my tire and found a nail in it. It is fixed. Since this place is under new management it has changed. Very dishonest and unprofessional!!

They did everything to get me a good deal including calling another dealer to get me the exact tire I was looking for. I was in and out with 4 new tires in about an hour.

Have been taking our cars to Tires Plus for years, in VA and MN before moving to FL. Have always liked the professionalism of Tires Plus chain and found that the prices are fair, plus many of them give military/veteran discounts. Took my husbands car for an oil change twice in the last 8 months here, with no issues. Took my car last week for an oil change and to get my tired rotated and the brakes changed. Unfortunately, after the brakes were changed, my car made horribly squeaking noises when I came to a stop and I also noticed the car would start shaking at speeds over 55 miles an hour. Had my husband take my car in to find out what happened and I guess the rust in my brake parts were not adequately cleaned/removed prior to installation of the new brake pads which caused the squealing and three of my wheels were out of alignment when they rotated the tires. They fixed the problems of course, at no additional charge, but one star taken off because I wished they did it right the first time! In general though, weve had positive and fair priced encounters at this Tires Plus.

Horrible Customer service. My niece passed away at St. Jude and on our way back for the funeral had a blow out. Bought a new tire for $154.00 called them and got the run around. Made it 10 miles down the road and by that time they were closed. Made it further south to LaBelle on the donut tire. Now they say drive back to Venice. DONT BUY TIRES FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Awful; dont bother! I dont mind paying for service, but getting nickeled and dimed sends me out the door. Dont buy the extra tire insurance; waste of money....dont make an apt and think youll get your car in and out; waste of time. Its all about them not you; the customer!
