Accolades to the entire Team at Pit Stop Auto Repair. I called on Labor Day just to see if they were open. Not only were they open for a half day but they told me to stop on in after I explained my Windshield Washer issue. It was determined that the Washer Nozzles might need replacing. We set an appointment for the next day.When I returned in the morning I was helped by Bobby right away and my truck went right in for the service. The professional and honest mechanic was able the clean the jets and fully restore them like new. This saved me money and my Windshield Washers work Excellent! Pit Stop Auto Repair is definitely an Honest and Reputable Business and I highly recommend them for any auto repair needs.

I Have used this place numerous times. Flat tires,. new tires, clean fuel injectors,. And some minor car repair. Ive had a couple minor problems with them but nothing outstanding,. They took care of it,. And they were on it All in all very good company to use

Liars! Dont Trust them. They attempted to fix my window motor, but didnt completely fix it. They said it was done but when I tried it the auto up function would not work. They then tried to hide it, after I paid. Told me to go to someone who knows how to fix it. Thats what I paid them to do. Wouldnt help after that. No Nothing! Liars! Fake! Untrustworthy!

I spoke with Bobby on the phone regarding possibly needing tire replacement. After verifying he had options in stock he assured me they could get it done today if I needed even though they were close to closing for the day. I stopped in with an hour and half left before they closed. Bobby took the time to physically show me three different options of tires they had in stock. He answered several questions I had about tire features to help me make an educated buying decision. He also ensured me they could get my oil changed and address any other service needs they may identify. This may sound like standard expectation of service but I felt like he went above and beyond to ensure I didn’t feel rushed or that I was inconveniencing them in anyway considering this job would cause him and his technicians to stay later than scheduled for the day. This was my first experience using Pit Stop Auto Repair and I will definitely be back! Special shout out to Kevin at the front desk and the technician (didn’t catch his name) that turned my vehicle over to me as they were both great also!

Never again. An oil leak turned into $2,000 worth of repairs, three separate visits because the leak was not properly repaired and 6 entire days of not having use of my car. During the third time fixing what wasnt done properly, I demanded a rental car. The company they used provided a filthy car that was battered and smelled horrible. When the car was returned for the third time, I noticed a rattling sound from the engine. When I popped the hood, I found a screw driver and three tops to engine cleaner cans in the engine. Do Not Go Here. Unprofessional, unreliable, overpriced and scam artists. Needless to say, the charge is being disputed. Buyer Beware. Go elsewhere.

I am new to the area and needed work done on my car. After reading reviews of different area mechanics I chose S. Venice Pit Stop. They were friendly, professional, explained things in terms I could understand. I had gotten estimates from another place for a list of services to be performed and when I compared the prices it was clear to me Pit Stop wasn’t inflating costs....their quotes were considerably lower than the other place. I now have a home town mechanic and am grateful I went to S. Venice Pit Stop.

I’m normally a big DIY person, so you’ll rarely catch me going to a shop to get my repairs done. However, being that I was here out of state, I didn’t have the proper tools/workspace to diagnose and repair the issue I had with my vehicle’s suspension. I brought my car in to Pit Stop, not knowing what to expect or how much it was going to cost me. I dropped my car off in the morning, only to receive a phone call shortly thereafter describing the source of the issue. To my relief, it wasn’t a big nor costly repair, but I was really appreciative of their honesty and ability to get me back on the road with confidence in a quick and affordable manner. I’d highly recommend these guys to anyone who needs their vehicle serviced or repaired. God bless!

We take our Subarus here for oil changes. Good price and good service. We havent had any work other than oil changes but I understand they are good for mechanical maintenance.

We are from Kentucky and Our RV broke down on I-75 Northbound with a transmission issue. Pit Stop was recommended to us by the local Chevy dealer because of their ability to work on larger vehicles. After waiting a day for a diagnosis we found that it needed an entire transmission, which matched our shop at home’s thoughts and they were also right in line on price as well. We returned to KY and they kept a good line of communication with us so we could coordinate a trip back down to pick up the vehicle.The Pit Stop took a bad situation for us made it very easy to deal with. Just had a great experience getting a tire repaired. I had gotten a nail in the tread of a relatively new -ish tire that I didnt want to replace and the crew here didnt hesitate to fix it even though Id put Fix-a-flat in the tire. They just did what they do: cleaned out the gunk, patched the leak, and got me back on the road in less than an hour. Huge props for good, quick, and professional service.

Got transmission replaced on my truck. Quoted me $2700. When I arrived to pay my bill it was $3000. I asked why it was different and they said they forgot to include original consultation fee and price of transmission fluid In quote. How do you price out a new transmission without including the price of the oil? $300 is a big difference in price. I understand if thats what it costs to do it right, but thats what the original quote should have been. Pretty shady.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with them. They treat me like I know nothing. Try to tell me that I need more work done than I do. Very condescending and unprofessional. Also charge too much. I dont trust them and will never go back.

I needed a windshield wiper fluid hose replaced. I first went to Venice Honda, where I had bought the car, and was given a price of $205 plus tax.I then brought my car to Pit Stop and they did the repair for $39.52, proving that sometimes it pays to shop around, despite the inconvenience.Love this place. Not that fond of Venice Honda.

Charged $284.86 for a 48.99 tensioner pulley and $48 for a 12.99 belt :/

Just wanted to give a shout out to pit stop for the excellent job they did on my car. They were swamped with other repairs and really pushed to get my car fixed and back to me fast. Its my only car and i use it a lot so it was a big deal for me. They really delivered the kind of customer service that I havent seen in awhile. I found there pricing to be unreasonable, I took my vehicle because it was running rough, they replaced coil, cables and plugs and replaced a leaking exhaust gasket, the total bill came to over a $800.00, sounds too steep for what amounted to a tune up.
