Took my vehicle in for a pre-sale inspection, the staff was great and really knowledgeable. Ive since called to get some more maintenance work done but havent been able to get a call back. I hope business is so busy that they cant answer phone calls or messages.

I have been bringing my BMWs to Jason since 2010. The shop and waiting room are clean and well organized. Although they are always busy, Jason takes time to talk with me about my service needs and concerns. He helps me keep my car performing at its best. Both Jason and his assistant are very meticulous in their work and Jason stays completely up to date in his knowledge of BMWs and other German autos. He has a wall of recent service training certificates from BMW and others. I have complete trust in Jason for my 2017 440xi coupes needs. Recently, Jason and Robert went way out of their way to bring my car in the same day to diagnose and solve a perplexing and annoying exhaust problem at no charge.If you have a BMW or Mercedes, this is the place to bring it. Its like taking your car to the dealer except less expensive and the work will be done right the first time.

I can here around a year ago and was greeted with attitude for no reason. The repairs may be good but the basic customer service isn’t there. Don’t recommend spending your money here where the owner can barely talk to you without attitude.

My Mercedes air conditioner problems was diagnosed in about a half hour and a part was ordered in the car was finished that day. I found the owner very helpful and enjoyable to talk to. I felt the price was fair.

Was very surprised to find out the person who we encountered was in fact the owner. He started the interaction by being sarcastic and rude. I asked him how much it would be just for a diagnosis, as we weren’t sure we’d be able to have the funds to fix the entire issue in the same day. His response “well I don’t know I have to bring it in we don’t work on cars in the parking lot” .... well, I asked again “how much just to run a diagnosis, we want to make sure we’re on the same page with ya” his response... “well I’m working on your car it’s $150/hr” I said well again, I’m asking is that the price to just diagnose the problem and do you really think it’s gonna take more than an hour with doing no repairs? He scoffed and said “I have to work on it”. At this point I had already asked him to wear a mask and he blatantly ignored me, and then I realized not one person in his shop was wearing one. Again this was the OWNER of the business. Extremely unprofessional, not welcoming feeling, really just go ANYWHERE else other than here. ESPECIALLY if you or a loved one is high risk.

We’ve been very pleased with the service here for a few years. He does all of our maintenance now. Honest, experienced, and fair.

Ive been going to BAW for about two years now, suggested by a good friend with an M3. Jason and crew have always gone way beyond expectation, delivering excellent service, at very reasonable rates, with brisk turn around to boot. I brought in an older S class for a strut replacement. I provided the replacement strut. It was obvious the left front strut needed replacing as it was accompanied by a single warning message.I scheduled the replacement and it was completed on time and on quoted price...but as I started the car I had 3 new warning messages (ESP, BAS and ABS). I drove around the block and returned to Justin. He stated the messages were from the previous to drop off. I disagreed. At this point it becomes a he said / he said situation -as I know there was only one code for the inoperative strut, and he will claim otherwise.In any case, he did offer to take the car in for another hour’s worth of labor to diagnose the new warning messages.At this point I realized that he is unable to accept the possibility that the technician did not complete the installation correctly.I then took the car to another independent MB shop in Portland. Within 10 minutes they diagnosed the 3 additional warning codes as a bad electrical connection resulting from the new air strut installation.I work in the airline business and work with many A&P mechanics: I understand that not all repairs- not even the simple ones -are 100% successful: things happen and that is where attitude and good customer service shines. Justin’s inability to understand that even this simple repair could have been done incompletely and his eagerness to charge another hour’s labor is what gave the shop two stars.

I originally took my 2011 Mini Cooper S to Les Schwab to have the CV axle replaced. It was cheap and I had always liked their work before. This was not a good choice for my Mini. They could not get the axle out and in the process beat up the casing where the axle went in. I was at the very least shocked and upset at the same time. A week later I was doing some computer work when the lady I was working for told me that her husband worked on Minis. She gave me the card and the rest of the story was a great experience. I called Bavarian Autoworks and Jason set up an appointment and gave me an estimate on the repair. When I went in for my appointment they had the car in the shop very quickly and went to work. After a little while he came in the lobby where I was and showed me that he had gotten the axle out. What a relief!! It didnt seem like very much longer and he had it finished. The mechanic that worked on it handed me the keys, I thanked him and told him how appreciative I was for the great job he did. I am so happy with the work they did that I cant recommend them enough! If you have any work to do on a BMW, Mercedes or Mini Cooper dont take it to a cut rate shop, take it to Bavarian Autoworks where their expertise on these vehicles is amazing. From now on I will be taking my car there for all maintenance and repairs! Well done Jason!!

Excellent experience and would definitely would use again. We needed the AC compressor replaced in our 530i. We were a little concerned that because they wouldnt order parts beforehand that our repair might be delayed, but it wasnt. We brought the car in, were given an estimate on time and price and they delivered 100% on time and price. Couldnt of asked for a better, more simple experience. more companies should be like them.

Ive used him for all of my services on my CLA class his prices are half what the dealership wants to charge me and is 10x more convenient as far as location goes. I never write reviews on google but this shop more than deserves a 5 star one. I had to get a radiator replaced on my 06 5 series and was quoted 1600-2000 by several repair shops in Vancouver. I was lucky enough to come across this shop who beat the other quotes by almost half of the competitors cost. Top quality work and honest prices are all you can expect from this shop, dont take your BMW anywhere else to get worked on unless you want to pay more money than you reasonably should. Cant say enough about how great this shop and the owner are, you wont be disappointed in their business.

Only had one service completed, had three in-person interactions altogether. Came over to him originally since he quoted me $200 cheaper than regular mechanic and had good reviews online. Ended up costing me $200 more than quoted (although I was pre-warned and there was a legitimate issue that need to be fixed). Job done within the time frame given. Only reason I wont go back is customer relation skills. Doesnt make you feel very good when someone looks at you like youre a nuisance to them. Would rather spend a little more money to be treated better.

Jason and his crew brought my 2005 X-5 I bought new back to life to the point it has never run better. They are very reasonably priced also, and very honest in what does and doesnt need done. I will be with them now for life.

Werent helpful so I had to go elsewhere. I was referred there as they are meant to be good but not helpful for my car with a broken lock.

Jason did a great job with my 01 325i. He knows his stuff and will steer you in the right direction. Some shops give you a hard time if you try to supply your own parts, but not Jason.

Came in for a diagnostic on my BMW cause my check engine light was on and paid over $400 with diagnostic to get it fixed and made my car worse. The owner Jason had a big ego and didnt seem to care. Customer service was terrible and talked to me like I know nothing about cars. Had to take my car in again. He then wanted to charge me another $500 to fix what I think was the actual problem. Decided not to because didnt trust him anymore. The owner either doesnt know what hes doing or he was trying to make money. Either way would not recommend taking your car here

It was my lucky day when I saw the sign for Bavarian Autoworks while going north on I-5, just after I had noticed my BMWs right turn signal was going bonkers (i.e., flashing too fast on the dashboard). I was under a firm deadline to get to Tacoma, but didnt want to drive unsafely, so I exited and found the Autoworks shop. Explaining my 20-minute constraint, I fully expected to be told they could not fit me into their schedule, but figured it was worth a shot. I was delighted when Jason told me they could take a look. About 10 minutes later, I was on my way, with a working turn signal! I am so grateful, and plan to schedule a return to this shop for future service, even though I dont live in the vicinity.

The only reason why I did not give this guy a 1 star is because I think the mechanic that did my job was nice and did a quality job. The guy that runs (or owns) the shop gave me sarcasim and attitude from when I first entered the shop. I was cordial the whole time, but kept getting a sarcastic attitude, which I did not appreciate. He also charge 1.6 hours of work for something that took 45 minutes of work. I had other things that I needed help with, but would rather take my business to a place that treats me like a customer, instead of other way around, very dissapointed for was looking for a loyal mechanic for my Mini Cooper.

Im a prod owner of Mercedes CLK 350 and I always serviced in Portland mercedes or Beaverton mercedes service center, but when I moved to Vancouver, I saw the review and went to Jason, he is very good at his work, very honest and super professional. I saved so much money servicing with him. Also, anytime I had any issues, i call him for appointment he is very accomidative. I was planning for a road trip and my tail light were out, I called him and he took me in and replaced my light for free. If I would have taken to Mercedes service center, they would have charges atleast $100 and also made me to wait for day or two. Anyone looking for a good service center for german cars, Jason is the guy.

Ive taken my Mercedes-Benz GL450 to BAW several times, and have always felt like Jason knew his stuff, charged fairly, and got the work done on time and budget. Ive read a couple of reviews questioning his customer service, but first, I dont want my mechanic to be a slick salesman. I want him to know what hes doing and charge a fair price. Im not paying for his smile. Second, when Ive needed him, when my vehicle needed him, hes made time for me on a quick turn and helped me get moving again. THATS great customer service. I drove up from Salt Lake City for business when my 2011 X3 started acting up by stuttering and idling followed by warning lights and check engine lights. I had to leave for home 800 miles the next day and after calling a half dozen places that were unwillingly to just check to see what the issue was I called Justin at Bav auto. I told him I had to have it looked at today before I had to drive 800 miles and he said he would make room in the garage. He quickly diagnosed the problem and charged me 1/3rd what BMW of Portland would have charged. Nice to find friendly help when you are far from home.

Ive had 2 cars in for Jason to work on and I am very happy with the work they have performed. Also the price and professionalism have been better than my expectations. I now have a mercedes clk350 and Jason will be doing all the check up and service work on it.I just purchased a BMW 5 series for my every day car, before I put it to use I took it in for an oil change and check up. Oh course they use only the best replacement items, Such as Liqui Molly oil and Mann filters. Had Bavarian Autoworks trouble shoot several problems on my Porsche 996. Found and fixed them all. Even fix one not on the list. A sensitive horn. Very fair pricing. Accommodated my drop off and pickup too.Hope Im trouble free for a while, but if I have any more problems with my Porsche Bavarian Autoworks is going to be my first place I go. Porsche is not on the sign, but they know there way around them and welcomed them.

Im new to Vancouver and I was searching for a great German car shop close to home, so I Google searched and found this shop. I read all the reviews people leave behind on every business. I noticed this shop had two bad reviews, but a lot of good ones. I will say that I disagree with the two people that left a bad comment below. Some people need common sense. Dont bring your own oil and filter to a mechanic shop that has all of that there. If you have all of that, you do it yourself at home. Hahaha! You need to ask if theres any charges for any services before they do anything, because thats how they get you. A person in the comments said hes not honest at all, but I think hes really honest, and heres why I think that. I called 3 days ago to schedule an appointment for an oil change. He wanted me to bring the car in the morning before noon I believe, because he doesnt do oil changes after 12. I said, I cant because I work 6 to 2:30, so he said hell do it at the end of the day around 5. He then asked me what car I was driving, and I said, I drive an Audi. He then said I was afraid you were going to say that. I dont like to work on Audis, only BMWs. First time I heard a mechanic shop say that they dont like to work on othe cars, especially this German car shop that doesnt like to work on another German car. I can take my Audi to a Honda shop and theyll work on it. He obviously works on BMWs and Mini Coopers from what I read in the reviews be low, but NOT Audis. Im not saying he wouldnt work on my Audi, its that he said he doesnt like to work on Audis. How could I trust and expect him to do a great job if he said he doesnt like to work on Audis. My review is based on the phone conversation we had. Ive never been in the shop before and Ive never met the man, but as a shop owner and as a mechanic you should take pride in the work that you do and work on all cars, especially German cars if your a German car shop. You should let customers know on your site that you dont like to work on Audis. The argument here is that, Im disappointed he told me he doesnt like to work on Audis, so if you drive an Audi, dont bring it to this shop. Im saving you the call and the drive. Im curious to read the reply from the shop owner on this review Im leaving.... I hope hes honest. Hahaha!
