Creitz Automotive is the top tier of mechanical automotive work in the Tulsa area. I have used them numerous times, with many different makes and models of cars. Each time, they are always very knowledgeable and fair. The work is always done quickly and efficiently. I trust them completely with all of my vehicles, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great mechanic.
So very Thankful for Creitz, ... I drive a 2003 Trailblazer so things need fixed, repaired and replaced constantly. I was having transmission problems and trusted mechanic I know who couldnt do the job sent me to Creitz. We were in the middle of bad weather and they got me in as soon as they could. While my truck was there they found other issues and fixed those as well. A company doesnt make it 65 years with out being great at what they do and having amazing customer service... thank you again
The mechanics at Creitz have always been knowledgeable with any of my questions, fair priced with fantastic work! Our family has taken multiple vehicles to them with multiple different diagnosis or concerns and we recommend them with any chance we get!!
So to start, my truck had some pretty major issues. Oil pan, power steering, neutral safety switch, broken brake parts etc. And enough rust to make the job impossible. I took my F350 to multiple places, all refused to do the job. One of those shops referred me to Creitz. Creitz was willing to take on the challenge. They set very accurate pricing and expectations up front. Communication was spot on. They had the job done in record time. Everything looks and works again as it is supposed to. Will definitely be using them again in the future.
Its a good thing when you find a mechanic (shop) that treats you fairly and honestly. Creitz always explains the work they are going to be doing and they will honestly tell you if it can wait or if it needs to be addressed immediately. I trust Creitz automotive. I have recommended them several times.
Just moved to town and needed some work done on my car. They found my issue right away and got it fixed quickly. The pricing is definitely fair. Long as Im in the State of OK, Creitz will be my shop.
This is a great shop. They’ve helped me out of a jam many times. I highly recommend.
Good guys work there
About as fair priced and knowledgeable as it gets. Fantastic work and easy to deal with. Will truthfully diagnose and give recommendations. The absolute go to place for classic car repair.
Creitz Automotive has been doing an outstanding job for more than 35 years. When I was running a business that had 4 delivery trucks, Creitz kept them up and running! I have also trusted them with my personal vehicles, especially my Hot Rods! Old school applications that make real race cars. Timely repairs unless its some kind of special project that requires modifications. Hope to go visit them soon, a lot of good info down there.
My experience: THE WORST HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, LIARS and THIEVES. If there was an option for no stars, I would have selected it. This is the worst place I have ever had the displeasure of giving my business to. Basically, in a nutshell because of negligence of Creitz, I had to replace my whole A/C system, which cost me $1600 when I tried to get reimbursed, after getting proof that they caused the A/C issue, and after the owner told me that he recently fired the guy that worked on my car because of past problems with other jobs he did for him, the owner offered me 1/4 of what I paid and told me thats all he could do. My cooling system still has issues after a year. After trying to have them check it out this last week, the owner proceeded to run my engine for an hour and drive it down the street and back and tell me that its not overheating and not do any diagnostics on it to figure out if there was an actual issue. Not to mention after all this, he told me that his computer (conveniently) crashed and he didnt know if my AC system or water pump had a warranty, then telling me he was done working with me when I said that wasnt an acceptable response. But the BEST PART of this whole situation is when the owner, Steve Creitz yelled at me and told me to get the f*** out of his shop when I went to pick up my car because I wanted something to be done so my wife and I have a reliable vehicle. I have a wife who is 8 months pregnant and she doesnt need this stress. All that to say that I will be seeking legal counsel and suing Creitz for their lack of professionalism and thievery, and STRONGLY dissuading anyone I know from ever giving Creitz their business. I guess Creitz doesnt understand that business is a privilege, not a right. Now Im out $1600 that I shouldnt have had to spend in the first place, all thanks to Creitz.
Steve is awesome!!!!! Ive had my truck into multiple shops trying to figure out an O2 problem. I kept having high quality techs telling me they had no idea what was wrong. Steve and his guys had it figured out and fixed in a very timely manner. I couldnt be happier. If you want affordable and quality this is your place. I will be back.
Im so glad I came here for the maintenance on my car. I got a great deal and they took time to explain what was needed, why, and gave estimates before doing the work. And they were able to give me an accurate time frame for getting the job completed (same day!)
Ive been going to Creitz for 5+ years and wouldnt think of going any where else. They have always done an excellent job on any work Ive given them. Im impressed with the many classic and show cars that are being worked on. People who know much more about cars than I do, bring their prized possessions to Steve to be worked on. And, they have good magazines in the waiting room.
This is by far the best place to take any vehicle. We take our business and personal vehicles here. They are courtesy, competitive with prices and very honest. Wont go any where else
Its so important, when getting a car repaired, especially a foreign sports car, to find a mechanic that is honest, runs a clean shop, and treats you with respect. Creitz Automotive does all of this with flying colors! Steve made me feel like an important customer from the estimation stage through sending someone to pick me up to come get the completed car. He will always get my business!
I am very satisfied with the service for my vehicle. I trust this company completely. They listen to my request of having my vehicle ready in a certain amount of time. I will definitely stay with them for future needs.
Great guys, reasonable and honest, dependable. Definitely will use again.
I have been taking my cars to Creitz Automotive for over 30 years. People who work there are courteous, prompt, efficient, honest, and reliable. Their waiting room is very comfortable; or you can take a short walk to Nelsons Cafe.
Creitz automotive went above and beyond my expectations for not only quality work but great service. I would recommend this auto shop to anyone looking for an honest price and attention to detail..
Appreciate their honesty and communication. Will return.
I just took my car to get new breaks and got an excellent service and the work was done in a timely manner. Thats why I have been taking my car to Creitz for more than 10 YEARS.Thanks for the great job that you do !!
Very professional and knowledgeable and friendly. Also, their prices are so reasonable! Fast and thorough. My husband has a Ford Transit and I have a Kia Amante, and we both use Creitz for all all of our vehicle needs.
Creitz did a great job tuning my truck. They were professional, informative and did good work. Ill definitely be going back when I need additional work.
Let me start by saying I wish I could post pictures to validate this review. I took my car here based on a referral from another shop. They have a lot of nice cars here usually so they must have somewhat of a good reputation. With that being said, I personally had the unfortunate luck of a terrible experience.I took my car here to have some performance parts installed. It was quite a job and I was told a week to ten days. So knowing how shops usually work I was prepared for a 2-3 week wait time. They had my car for 3 months!!! When I finally got it back took it home and started really getting a chance to look it over thoroughly I was quite upset with what I found. My alternator was missing the nut on the mainmounting bolt and was free floating. This cause it to ruin the bracket just from running for a few minutes.I had a brand new performance steering rack installed which they over tightened the bolts and cracked the housing.Car has two cooling fans, one of which the wires were cut and left. I found this because one home, letting the car just idle it would begin to over heat.Broke a interior panel piece they had to remove to install new rear shocks and basically tried to conceal it instead of fixing it.The new window regulator they installed was not adjusted properly and leaves a half inch gap open at the top.Broke my seat due to pure laziness of making sure it was set on the mounting bolts properly. So it bent and cracked one of the mounting feet.Failed to grease a single one of the fittings on the suspension parts installed after I specifically asked for that to be done. To which I was told it was. (Lies!!!)My coolant temp sensor was completely broken in half hanging off of the water pump.I was as absolutely as patient as any human being could be expected to be. I paid in full.So I dont feel bad for telling you that if you want professional quality work done in a timely fashion, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!
Always willing to help out and are reasonably priced. Very knowledgeable.
If you own a classic car, this is the place to have it serviced.
These guys are awesome. Steve & Joe are legit and know their stuff. And they always save me money. Couldnt recommend them higher.
I have been enjoying an incredible relationship with Steve Moore, Creitz and his crew for several years now. They have taken great care to diagnose properly, repair what is necessary, yet inform me of anything else they find that could create problems for me and my family on the open road.I have one car in particular, a 1955 Chevy BelAir, that requires a bit more TLC and the Creitz team have been a great help ensuring is road worthy, safe, looks and sounds like you want a classic car to be. Its a pleasure to recommend Creitz to anyone who asks me if I re-built it, which is no, Creitz has done the work... perfectly and very reasonably priced.Creitz gets a solid 10 in my book time after time for consistently being the best in the business.W. Creitz Automotive has been working on our fleet of trucks as well as my classic cars for 7 years. Every Mechanic has worked on our cars at one time or another without any problems at all. I would highly recommend these guys for all your automotive needs!!!
Im having a motor rebuilt. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!
They were very helpful and informative.
Best in Tulsa! These guys will take care of your cars.
You will not find a more honest or experienced shop in the city
These guys will go above and beyond and as a whole in the end, are a company of high standard and quality.
PLEASE READ!! Took our 2009 Chevy Suburban there in August of 2017. It had several lighrs going off on the dash. The traction control light, Service Stabilitrak and the check engine light. They said it needed a valve job and charged us $4000.00 for a vehicle that was very low millage. They supposedly fixit and call and say its ready on a Friday evening. We pick it up a few minutes before 5 they are fixing to close. We no more than get 3 miles up the road and the same lights start going off. We take it back and they say its a map sensor they replace and charge us I believe another 45.00. We get it back the 2nd time only to have it a couple of days later to act up again. This time they say it is something with the brakes. Another 450.00 and still the dash lights are all out of whack. In October driving down I-44 the vehicle starts missing, backfiring and idling rough luckily i was close by my destination. So once again the traction control, stabilitrack and check engine light are all 3 flashing again. We go out to try to start it again it starts after almost 5000.00 wasted at Crietz we find that it was a common problem with the 2009 model GM products. Thank God we got rid of it but we will NEVER EVER USE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. THEY TOOK OUR MONEY OUT AND OUT. I wouldnt have given them 1 star if I didnt have to. They tried to guess instead of being knowledgeable about the vehicle. I dont know about you but I dont have money to waste for someone to try to make guesses as to what the problem is. Save your money and take it somewhere else.
These guys replaced a brake line on my classic oldsmobile. It was a heck of a job and they did a great job at what I consider a very reasonable price
They were great when my son worked there but now not so much
If you need quality work and a price you can afford then this is it. I take my Hot rods to these guys because they know the old stuff and have the eqipment to do it right. They know how the old stuff works and they can fix it quick and right the first time. I am very picky about my classic cars and I dont just take them to anyone. They treat my cars like their own and I dont worry about it being botthered while in the shop. I highly reccomend these guys.
Been using the for business and personal vehicles for years and always a good price and honest. Would use anyone else!
I had a very good experience with their service. Took care of a number of problems I had been haing. Would diffently use them again.
These guys are crooks. They wrecked ( (large gash in the door) my 72 chevelle on a test drive then instead of taking it to body shop to get fixed like they said they would, an employee took it home to drive for 3 weeks. After I found out they doubled the agreed upon price( 12 hrs labor to replace a radiator) and they charged me almost $400 to fix a fuel gauge. It still doesnt work. They also refused to pay for the repair and provide insurance. The repair cost $4000.They told me to take them to court because they do owe me anything.I would avoid this place at all costs.
