Overall the car looks good. Granted I didnt give them a pristine surface to work with. The 2 things I find unacceptable are solvent pop on the drivers door and they didnt paint one panel in the bed. Not sure why I was charged for it. The door should have been redone before they called me too pick it up. I had no illusions of grandure, but this was beyond explanation. I can handle minor imperfections but seriously? Time will tell if they try to make it right.UPDATE 6-1-21.I emailed customer service 10 days ago and havent gotten a response. I will keep editing this review until resolution.6/15/21They have reached out to me and offered to make it right.

Car painted, over spray, very poor customer service, Brian service manager, had me cancelling appt after appt . Brian set up a appt to get it taken care of, i show up and he says, i was just about to call you, we can not get you in for over a month due to shortages of employees, since October 13th i have still not heard from Brian .Please consider twice about doing business with them, yes great price but you pay for poor service . These guys were Carvanaa local asset for any issues I had with the car upon acceptance. They were put through the ringer between me, carvana, genesis, Big O tries and supply chain issues. My Maaco journey from start to finish!So I started by watching a ton of YouTube videos. Seeing a bunch of pros and cons about the results from many different Maaco’s as well as different paint packages.After much consideration I decided I would give it a try as I didn’t want to spend 7k-10k on a professional paint job as my car is not worth it.I went with the paint package right under the best Maaco has to offer. (I can’t remember the package name)I went in and talked with a gentleman named Pete. He was so nice and answered all my questions as I had made a list with all my concerns and details. He even showed me some of the cars they were working on as well as his own!I came back about 2 days later after I did a little prep work myself on the car such as... removing badges, sanding concerned areas, removing tail lights, mirrors and door handles.Me and Pete took another look at the car before I handed over the keys. We confirmed the color I wanted as well as secondary color and where I wanted all the secondary color to go such as stripes, mirrors, handles and bottom of bumper.Pete was great at informing me how long the process would take as well as how to track the car online to see what was being done such as “prep” “sanding” “body work” etc!Pete was also fantastic about keeping me updated by sending some surprise photos of the car in the sanding area as well as when it was in the paint booth! I was so grateful to see the photos as I was very nervous and anxious to see what was happening. Pete even invited me back to the shop just to see the car when it was in its sanding process. I thought that was great that he invited me to come back to see as it shows they are proud of the work they do!Picking up the car..The car turned out great! The excitement as I pulled into the Maaco lot and saw my car sitting in the sun with shining paint and flakes was incredible.After bringing the car home I thoroughly went over it looking for any imperfections. Now I know this is a Maaco paint job and I was expecting overspray, orange peel etc, but the car turned out really good!There is orange peel on the passenger door and some other areas around but overall it’s not bad. Plus it can always be wet sanded!There are parts in the paint where debris got trapped underneath the clear coat but it is pretty minimal. Again, it can be wet sanded.I paid to also have the door jams and under the hood painted and it came out looking good! I was a little disappointed as they did not clear coat under the hood. All the other door jams and under the trunk got clear coat but under the hood just got paint so it has a rough look and not smooth.As far as overspray goes, they got a little on the windows but it can be easily removed. The inner wheel wells (black plastic water guards) got painted quite a bit but again can be fixed. And some overspray on the tires. Other than that it was not bad.From the sanding process, I noticed that the window trim got hit by the sander a little bit causing the black trim to be permanently scuffed.I did also pay for a little body work to be done such as removing a few small dents and re aligning the front bumper closer to the hood and that all was great and perfectly done!Recap:Overall I am very happy with the results and a lot of my concerns before the process were fixed. Of course after I got the car back there were new things I wanted to correct such as orange peel and overspray but I had expected that from the beginning.Would I recommend this Maaco location? YESWould I bring another car here? YESIn the end, for body work, sanding, prep and paint I think I spent about $4,000 out the door. This definitely beats a professional paint job price!

More than please with my service at maaco. People up front where very friendly and helpful and got me in quick and it’s no hassle. Andy took really good care of my car prepping it and painting it! Sara cleaned and detailed it afterwards and car looked spectacular when picking it up. Service was very professional and the time frame was fitting. Will continue doing business with them.

I attempted to get an estimate. The estimator was with another customer. The receptionist was too busy on her cell phone and was extremely rude and disrespectful. If you are looking to good customer service, this is not the place. I took my business elsewhere.

From a Nationwide known company id expect a lot better work than this, body also has overspray, not enough paint on tailgate and orange peel all over. Took back to get fixed had to wait over a month to get to work done and still didnt do a good job right. Too bad one day paint or earl Schwab is not around anymore.

Had never had to have a vehicle painted but had received good feedback from family on using Maaco in Phoenix. Received a quote of $7k to repaint the side of our truck from the dealership collision center (paint had been redone at some point after an accident before we had the vehicle and had oxidized like crazy and looked terrible). Went to Maaco and Pete was amazing. Got the side redone and replaced all plastic fender guards and plastic between front and back windows for $2500 with a lifetime warranty. Paint blends great with the rest of the truck and looks really good. Not only that, Pete was super available and even texted updates with pictures of the truck along the way! Great service and would definitely recommend.

Ive taken multiple vehicles here over the years and have always been impressed on how much better they tuned out compared the other places that I have been in the past. I also seem to notice the process they use for a full vehicle paint is way better then most other paint places. I get a great warranty and can really tell the difference!

Painted a truck hood for me and matched it nicely. Friendly and professional staff with good turn around time. They stuck to the estimate with no b/s or upselling, which I appreciate. Price was right for the service compared to 2 other estimates I checked out before pulling the trigger with them. 5 stars would use them again but hoping I wont have to...

I was very pleased with the quality and service I received.

I highly recommend these guys to take care of your fender bender. They provide quality work at a very reasonable price. They worked with me on an out of pocket repair for my 18 year old daughters car. They were sympathetic to her as its hard on a teen to loose their wheels. They helped save money by using aftermarket parts and even installed a part I got from Craigslist. They were within 15% of their estimate and about 20% below the other two estimates I got. If I need work in the future Id just go to them instead of wasting time at the other shops who only want to do insurance work for big bucks. Theses guys really cared about me. The car looks great and drives like new.

These guys did a fantastic job of bringing my 21 year old car back to life! Sanded and primed the panels and matched the factory paint perfectly. Well worth the price for a quality “refresh”. Definitely recommend to friends and family.

My painting and repairs came out great and were a bit cheaper that the initial estimate. They did a small final tweak at my request and even put in a couple of missing pop rivets unrelated to the repair for me. On time, too.

The front bumper in my car had a big crack on it. Maaco replaced and painted it and my car looks great! Very happy with my choice to bring it here.

My buick sign on the bumper was replaced and no one informed me. We found out when one of the letters fell off and had to replace it at the dealership. Just be honest!

Maaco probably has the best prices in Tucson, so you get what you pay for. I got my car the exact color I asked for, there was minor issues i noticed a day later such as; overspray on windows, leftover trash (tape, paper) inside the car and on outside handles. Also a minor issue but fixable is that parts from inside my car werent completely placed properly so they popped off with a small touch. A major issue that was annoying was that my emblem of my car name sentra was put back on the wrong side...Little issues and details like that matter in my opinion.They have great service, honest and I like that they have different prices and packages for paint jobs.

Had a dent and scratch on the tailgate of my truck, they did a great job on fixing those blemishes, however, they did not do a good job putting the emblems back on. The letters are a little crooked, and you can see it the 3m tape they used on the top of some letters, they are not flush and look like they can fall off at anytime, or during a car wash

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a business the supervisor was rude the workmanship was shoddy when I took it back to fix some of the problems that they should’ve fixed the first time left it overnight went back the next day two things were completed on it. In the first place he never completed the job properly when they did shotty work and they never cleaned up the overspray. I will never go back to this place and will never recommend to anyone especially after dealing with the Rude supervisor Brian Cruce. Only put a star because I couldn’t post otherwise they deserve zero stars bad heartbreaking experience

Have not even taken car in yet for hood repainting (next week) but very impressed with service and attitude of Pete and the staff. I explained exactly what I wanted and was given options and a thorough estimate at a very reasonable price and I have spoken to other shops in town who all quoted outrageous prices and seemed almost dismissive. Very impressed.

The actual paint job I received was great. However, my car was a champagne color when I dropped it off and silver when I picked it up. When I inquired about this issue, I was told (after the fact) that for my price point, they don’t use factory paint and they match it, “the best they can” with what I can only assume is whatever paint they have on hand. First, matching “as best they can” does not equate to painting my car a different color. Second, not using factory paint and a high probability of a poor color match is absolutely something I should have been told BEFORE I agreed to the paint job. They also kept my car for 7 days which is longer than they said they would.

Pete and the crew were fantastic. I had a particular combination of colors I wanted on my car, along with a large dent in the roof fixed, and all came out exactly as Id hoped. Complete color change inside and out. The cost was less than I expected. They took a little longer than planned and moved the pick up date a couple times, but that was the only catch. Hey, things take time. Teeny bits of overaspray and some weather stripping I had to reattach but minor inconveniences to me personally. I would absolutely return and recommend anyone to get a quote. Agree on a price ($1000), next day manager calls me letting me know that the work agreed upon would be of poor quality, if I wanted the job to be done properly it would have to be ($1500), I refused to give into the manipulation. They start the job, so your cant back out. This how I picked up my car! Extremely bad business practices. And they still charged me for the Half A job they did.

Good job overall. Got roof, hood, and 1 fender painted due to badly faded chipping paint. Warranty work. Originally had entire truck and camper painted for $1k. Although I had to pay close to $700 to get just roof,hood,fender redone. Maaco kinda color matched. I guess warranty is not really warranty there. Paint should match 100% and paint entire truck and camper if needed for matching color. Original Grant rd. Maaco shop closed forever so I had to get at Palo Verde location. Maaco shouldve but didnt remove camper to paint roof and roof frame properly. Plus I had to scrub rear truck and camper windows to get overspray off! Not my fault paint prices went up. Why they said they charged.

Excellent work done here, i took an 06 accord to them that was horribly faded with sun damage; within a week they were able to have the whole thing repainted and looking close to factory.its a cheap paint job, so youll see some orange peel texture and overspray, but thats part of cheap. you wont get show car quality here, but if youre looking for refreshing your daily driver to make it a little prettier, this is the place to go. you get what you pay for, and youre not paying much. have some realistic expectations and youll be very satisfied.

Excellent job with excellent service; no complaints at all

The job was a fairly minor repair of scratches on my rear bumper. The initial paint didn’t match well so they reworked the area on a second visit. I was very happy with the final result.

Was issues with the paint job but they had no problem at all rectifying the mistakes. Would give it 5 stars but whoever did the masking off of the vehicle did not do a good job at all, lots of spray made it through and now Ill be going around the car with a rubbing compound trying to clean off the paint on things that should not have paint on it, like the headlights. Over all though the rest of the paint job is decent, pretty good value and probably would use again if the need arises and would recommend to others.

I took my 2013 Accord there originally wanting to only paint the hood and trunk but decided why not paint the whole car. After comparing prices with other nearby companies (which no joke, quoted me around $5k...not sure if they were trying to scare me away, not to mention I have NEVER paid more then $1500 for a paint job) I decided despite the bad rep this company gets and even personal experience from another Maaco I went to in Florida I was going to give this one a shot. I decided to go from black to white without painting jams, I went with the polyurethane+UV option and managed to stay under $1000(I did some body work myself) now for the price I paid this paint job is way better then I expected. Of course there were minor overspray spots but that’s expected through anyone, overall it didn’t negatively effect the look of the car. At the end of the day I am not vouching for every Maaco but you must realize every other place have individuals much more experienced and invested with their work and I must say I believe this Maaco may be some of the better bunch. Thank you guys for a great job !

I was pleasantly surprised that our truck was done when they said it would be. Paint and body is a rough job and seldom goes as planned, so getting it back as promised was a huge plus. The paint job was actually better looking than I anticipated. Maaco did an outstanding job with the prep and masking and I didn’t see any overspray. Paint was smooth and even. Our 15 year old 4Runner looks great.

I have had Maaco paint several vehicles over the years and have always been very happy. Well today I dropped off a custom front bumper, grill and hood insert to have painted. I bought a motorcycle trailer from my father that was painted viper yellow to match his motorcycle. My motorcycle is black and Crimson. As you can see I had to have the motorcycle trailer repainted. I chose to have the entire thing painted black just in case I have to sell it, as black motorcycle trailers will sell better than black and Crimson. I took it to the local Maaco and dropped it off. They did an excellent job painting it all black, looks wonderful.

Amazing Service. Excellent Work Quality. Best price out of several potential body shops I had quote the vehicle.Firstly, this truck is 20 years old. It is a relatively rare clean, solid 5 Speed Manual Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Quad-cab long bed. I own several trucks and this particular truck is one of the best heavy pullers built. With modest performance enhancers this truck easily pulls one of my several 40’ & 44’ 5th Wheel transport or RV Toy Hauler’s In this day and age you need to spend around $60,000 -$80,000 or more to buy a new truck that will pull as well as this configuration of older truck. Also, you’ll be buying DEF along with diesel for your 80 Grand.Because of these facts I like to do a nice but modest restoration on these Gen2 Dodges for my businesses MANY hauling jobs. Simply put my trucks tow all the time.Pete and Brian at Maaco really understood my formula, my budget constraints and what I needed, which was a good amount of minor body work and a the resurrection of a totally dead factory paint job.I chose the Urethane + IC and the truck came out looking better than factory original to me. And they did this all for anywhere between $1500-$2500 LESS than any of the several other body and paint shop I had quote the job. Great Job Pete and Brian! I I’m going to have them paint my motorcycle gas tank next, and some other jobs too.

Im surprised at the number of negative reviews here. My experience was great. I had my mothers 2007 Camry with the typical Toyota clear coat peeling plus some minor body issues. The price for the middle of the road (pun intended) quality of paint (its a 12 year old car) was very reasonable. Some shops had quoted up to $5K for a paint job! I guess some of these body shop owners want a new pool and want to get the money on 1-2 vehicle paint jobs. The paint and work were excellent. I cant have my mom driving some sad looking car and she doesnt any more.

WOW, totally impressed with their service and finished work! My replacement tailgate came out like it was from the factory! Their pricing was the best I found from Sierra Vista to Tucson. However, when I picked up my vehicle there was weather stripping on the back seat that needed to be replaced and the interior was covered in sanding dust I couldnt even see the gauges they need to inspect the vehicle before delivering itThat said I will recommend Maaco.

I would leave a zero star if I could. My car was vandalized and I choose Maaco to do the work worst decision I could have made. They charged an additional 400 dollars to paint the entire car the same color and get non related dents out. There are Fabrics under the pain that I advised them about but they did not take rectify. I had to take my car back because they didn’t replace a tire that was on the insurance estimate as well as an interior piece. When I took the car back they fixed the tire. It needed to keep the car over night to fix the interior item. I had a trauma kit in the trunk of my car that wen I realized I had to leave the car over night I retrieved. The old tire was on top of my teams kit. After looking in my kid there was over $370 worth of damage to its various contents. Lastly they took the car to get one window rented. They couldn’t even match the tent color or darkness.I will never let Maaco touch my car again. I now have spent an additional $3300 at a different facility to get my car in the condition they were supposed to. This is not including me having to replace my trauma equipment.NEVER TRUST MAACO AUTO COLLISION.

Maaco did a great job on my car and in record time. Rob, the Maaco representative, met with me, inspected my vehicle and made suggestions to make my ride look nice again. I was even offered a free taxi ride home if I wanted to get the work started right away. I highly recommend anyone wanting a great job at a reasonable price to check this shop out.

I am satisfied with the job MAACO did on my vehicle VW Jetta. I just got my hood repainted because the paint had come off and it was such an eye sore. I was told it wouldnt match, but I thats the chance I took. It actually looks like a decent match to me though. They had it for less than a week. They did it for cheaper than Chapman VW offered--my own people. So, cant complain about that. Thanks guys!

Definitely was taken advantage of as a young female college student with no previous auto body knowledge. Everything was smooth sailing until I picked my up my car and everything went south. I voiced some concerns with the lack of communication during the process (they didnt call me when the paint color wasnt going to match my current color), but overall the experience was stereotypical and I couldve predicted the outcome based on my age and gender.

I had a small scrape (no dent) on fender. Other body shops wanted to take the fender off and charge $1800. MAACO left the fender on and carged me $650. Paint is exact match. They got me in and out in three days. Pleasant people to work with.

I have had all of my long term vehicles painted at various paint shops in Tucson including dealerships, and high end paint shops. This Palo Verde location Maaco owned by Ed not only surprised me with how well they painted my truck I really couldnt be happier! They taped off everything perfectly and I couldnt find a single overspray spot on my vehicle at all. Im an expert at masking lines for painting houses and ruff edges are just not possible without a stencil brush sometimes. I dont even know he painted that close of a line on a spray on bedliner thats very rugged/ruff when I didnt pay for the top of the line paint job. It looks like he sprayed under it thats how good of a job it was. Best 1,000 dollars ever spent on paint job. Im positive that no one else in Tucson could match the job for the money I paid. I Highly recommend this shop and I will go back for my next project in 5 years or so. I will be also recommending all friends and family there from now on.Matthew R

I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone. I was NOT happy with my service. I picked up my car today. I paid to have the dent and scratches repaired and the bumper painted. They decided to paint just the spots and blend. NO blending was mentioned, I was told the bumper would be painted. So there are 3 chips in the bumper that should have been painted over… NOT what I was expecting

I wasnt quite satisfied with the masking job. They got paint on my rims, tail pipe, rubber trim, and even my steering wheel and car key. Very minimal effort was put into their work. Atleast they were polite.

Upon inspecting closer after bringing it home, they got white paint on my black grille by headlight, theres spots of orange peel which I suppose can be buffed out, flakes of paint on wheels, in tight corners and in door jam some paint chip, paint on headlight lense and some significant dents went unrepaired. I understand my car wasnt in the greatest shape taking it in. Still had high hopes until speaking with Pete and he said they dont fix every minor dent and they couldnt tell where there were dents because I brought it in half sanded already. Just would have been nice to know before.Edit:Have yet to receive a response from customer service after a month. It appears my experience is of no concern to you all.Edit:I cleaned up the spots where there was primer paint on the grille and window seals since it took nearly 2 months to hear back. Is why I didnt answer your guys call.Now my uncle had his car painted by you guys a month ago and they experienced this same issue. The paint overall looks nice, from afar, though again theres spots of white primer paint on window seals and other areas. Seems to be the issue is the preparation process is not too careful in that making sure parts are taped off correctly.

The guys at Maaco did a great job painting my truck, I would go with them again
