This was my late sisters favorite place, and we wanted to honor her memory with a gathering there. Bob, the owner, along with Minnie (behind the bar) and Danny (in the kitchen), made it perfect for us. I ordered an assortment of appetizers to be served buffet style, and they were excellent! I highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms, potato skins, chicken chunks, mini tacos, spinach artichoke dip, mozzarella sticks and onion rings, not to mention the adult beverages. Everything was delicious!

Food was delicious but our waitress was slow messed our food up an took my cup but never came back with the refill. They need better waitresses

I ordered a Walleye fish basket that was suppose to come with fries and coleslaw.It took a while to get my food, when I got it no coleslaw. So I was offered a salad that I never received. The fish was supposed to be fillet,but every piece that I ate had bone in it. The barmaid (bartender) also had a nasty attitude about my food order when I brought it to her attention. They need better trained servers. I was spending my money and the server wanted to argue with me.What happened to the customer is always right. Wont be going back !!!

The sign said seat yourself. We did, waited 15 minutes. No waitress ever came to our table. Mostly empty restaurant. So, we proceeded to walk ourselves out. Someone was smoking weed on their patio. More like Dump Street Cafe. Never going there again

Their chicken chunks with bourbon sauce are soooo good. Same with the burgers!

I wonder where any of the stars come from at this establishment. 🤔 being nice and saying 2/10 because the bartender was super sweet. But our server was the only one...and there was 4 other tables. She forgot to put our order in for 40 mins...wasnt really the most personable server weve had. I still cant believe I paid $12 for a piece of thin, dry charbroiled chicken on a piece of lettuce...and bland fries. This is not a place I would even think twice to go back to.

I was looking for walleye, I found it here . It was great! It is a two servings portion with plentiful sides. I will try to remember to take a picture next I order.

Thank you Dorr Street Cafe, I stumbled on this place while spending a day in Toledo. The Reuben sandwich was delicious served on marbled rye bread, grilled with the perfect amount of sauerkraut and dressing. Great find.

Everything was just ok nothing I couldnt have made at home 🙃Everything was bland as far as food goes waitress was great keep her . Step up on food flavor size was fine.

Service was good. Dated interior. There is nothing here the American Heart Association would approve of. But it looks good. I ordered the spinach salad. Tiny thing. I can tell they do not have much regard for healthy eaters. To each his own. The food looks good if you like classic american fare. Nothing trendy, new or adventurous. Bar is great.

It was my first time going to the Dorr Street Cafe, my friend Chris Tierney took me thereThe lunch was absolutely phenomenal and Chriss company was even better. We spent the whole afternoon shopping and talking.

I used to love this place it used to be absolutely delicious but now for one they took away the baked ziti which was one of their best dishes and two Ive never seen two-toned meatballs discolored this bad I so wish I could post a picture on here but instead I will on my Facebook disgusting

First off it took some time to be seated(over 10mins)... 5patrons at the bar, 3tables utilized inside, bar 5patrons, 4 tables and a bench utilized on the patio. Once asked to be seated, lady informs of our waitress who after 10 more minutes still has not even taken drink order or come to table. The lady comes back after seeing us stand up looking around stating waitress Lil busy at time she will get our drinks, and gave us a menu... Fast forward, waitress funnily appears take appetizer order and is gone for over 15mins comes and takes our order when she brings out the appetizer which was only fried pickles for me and guest had French onion soup(which both our their features items)... Appetizers finished, drinks finished, still no food. Our food comes, I will say that it was hot, looked presentable, and fries were extra crispy as requested. We now need boxes, refills, etc and waitress no where to be found. I look behind and there is a drink stand which I refilled our drinks and obtained to go boxes, then she appears asking can she help... bring the check, we are ready to go! why did this take another 12 minutes? Bring check(patty melt, fries, 1800 silver= $34.72.Beef Philly, fries, pepsi=$22.19). That didnt seem right to me... Waitress states sandwiches come with chips only fries extra, OK ...but, still bit much for what was ordered. We had to tell her to come right back with our cards and not to stray, we are ready to go, what do u know still took over 8minutes to bring them back...Food decent, but over priced... Service too slow and unattentive!!! Wont be on my list of greats/choices, nor will they see me any time soon unless someone else requests...Definitely not the place I used to frequent neither great customer service, food, and drinks...

Ive gone here many times but the food and service tonight was terrible. I ordered an $18.00 steak ordered medium and more than half was fat and undercooked tendons. The baked potato was burnt and overcooked. I told the waitress that it was the worst steak Ive ever had and I didnt even eat half of it but she never offered to make the moment right in any shape or form, nothing but an unsincere apology. Service was extremely slow. We sat at our table for almost 20 minutes without so much as a greeting, let alone menus. She didnt offer refills on our drinks, and she was in charge of training someone else! I cant imagine having two waitresses of this caliber available. That poor trainee. I am extremely disappointed.

The cup of Cheezy ham & potato soup w 1/2 chicken salad sandwich for $5 is unbeatable! Afterward I felt compelled to tip the cook who made the soup. Best Ive eaten all year!

Always great fast and friendly service. We usually have a quick drink or two and are on our way. Sometimes we have a quick bite to eat. Always hot and quickly served.

They have very good food here and a nice place to relax without getting drunk unless you are a big drinker and that I am not at all.

Just came from here and Im so disappointed! My mouth was watering for a Jigs Dinner on St. Patricks Day and was completely let down. The potatoes, cabbage and carrots were void of ANY flavor or seasoning. So if you want a fantastic Jigs Dinner go elsewhere.

I am writing this while Im in the bar. I have been sitting at the bar for 10 minutes maybe longer the barmaid Kim has walked passed me more than 5 times never acknowledged me even to say Ill be right with you, Bob the owner I guess walks up is standing off to the side of me she then ask me what I want, then asks him what he wants. I ordered before him but she got his two drinks first. He had walked away before she brought the drinks back she went on to ring up something else and then brought me my drink. Good thing Im not a first timer because Id never come back!

Great apps cheap drinks

This is a quant little coffee shop located near the West side market and great lakes brewery. The place serves good coffee but is a bit small, although in the summer you can sit on the patio. The barista was friendly and my coffee was made quickly. The best part is they are dog friendly or at least I think they are because there were a lot of people with dogs here when I walked in for my cup of joe this morning.

Ive been here multiple times, but the service just keeps getting worse. I went there yesterday and the service was probably one of the worst experiences Ive had. We walked in and all the empty tables were dirty so we had to sit at a dirty table for at least 10 to 15 minutes before the waitress came over to clean it and ask if we had been helped. Kept getting the excuse that they had a big party (it was a party of about 10 people) and that the other girl was new. Sorry...not an excuse. Everything took forever. The food took FOREVER and all we ordered was soup and sandwiches. It was just a terrible experience and I thought Id give it one last try since I hadnt had good service there before, although not this bad. Only reason I kept going was cause it is right around the corner from me, but that is the last time for me.

Yummy food at a reasonable price. Good variety of things to eat! Portions are huge..usually end up taking 1/2 home.
