Yes they are in the business of making money, yes they are a car dealership, but YES they do care about their customers. Set your Expectations - purchasing a used car as well as purchasing a new car is a gamble regardless of the vehicle.

Darn what a car! To find an EOS with less that 35k and in stellar shape? My Benz mechanic checked it out & whistled! Keep buying them w/ low mileage & selling them locally. 4 stars as price was way above book value. #EOS fans

If you look at the first picture this is what my new vehicle looks like about 90% of the time ever since we purchased it from Carisma Auto Group! I am a technician by trade and I am getting tired of have to work on the truck every time we want to go somewhere. The second and third picture are of an exhaust leak we did not know we had until we decided to take a long trip with the grand baby and the dogs and every one started getting headaches. We came home and the next day had the truck looked at and found the exhaust fumes were coming into the cab. You would think a dealership would have caught that big leak. When we first purchased the truck, we had to return to Tampa so they could work on it as we broke down when we left their lot. Their mechanic fixed the fuel injectors. To get to the high pressure oil pump they had to remove the turbo, apparently they did not realign the exhaust. There was soot all under the hood of the truck. This is just one of the many problems this truck has given us. I also had to replace the a/c, a fuel line, the horn, and all the missing lights. I am not very happy with them and I would recommend you not get a vehicle from them. This would cost the normal person a lot of money unless you have the training and skills I possess. When we called Carisma, their tag person lied and said I told her it was okay to send my sticker and registration to my old address 3 hours away. At that time, Mike informed my wife that he saw my wife’s review and repeatedly asked her to take it down. My wife said that she told the truth in her review and would not take it down, Mike hung up on her.

Sam was to meet me at 4pm. I arrived and the girl working said he would not be back for 45 minutes. I called and asked where he was we had an appointment. Said he’d be there in 15 minutes. He was not. The girl even came out and said was he back in 15 minutes? I said no. She said was I right? I said yes.I test drove the Land Rover. While it was a nice vehicle it had been sitting. The oil had not been changed, the weather strip around the windshield was rotten as well as all the tires and they were low on pressure. His sales man let me test drive it that way instead of putting air in them first. There is a huge chunk missing in the front passenger tire. Nothing was ready, detailed or in order. The sales man was unaware of the size engine or how many miles to the gallon it received. I had to inform him as I had the autocheck from a friend that works at another dealership look up for. I came prepared. I made a cash offer I thought was more than fair considering I would have to put more money into the vehicle to get it corrected. He declined on all fronts.I wouldn’t recommend this car dealership to anyone.

The place looks good from outside people are friendly. When buying a car always get the car checked before purchasing never take the dealers word.

I would give zero stars if I could. These are the typical shady car salesman. My husband purchased a Range Rover from here and 2 weeks later the car won’t start. The dvd player and TVs don’t work (not important)…but Water leaks into the car from the sunroof, which caused an electrical issue and now the radio won’t work. We took it to the Range Rover dealership and turns out the water leak was the start of all the problems and could’ve been fixed for $35!!! Carisma didn’t even care enough to fix that before selling the car. I wouldn’t suggest anyone to purchase from here. We have $3k in repairs that could’ve been avoided if they had some integrity and fixed the $35 problem when they got the car from the auction

I had a unfortunate visit to Tampa to purchase a car. I then lucked upon this place. I was greeted promptly by a genuinely helpful guy. He was honest about what he had on the lot and what was available all around. Although I did not purchase a vehicle from him, only because I was shopping for my grandson who left for Basic Training in the USAF and his uncle had an accident in his car and he is looking for a specific car. If I was shopping for myself he would be my first stop.

These guys are total crooks. We drove 4 hours to look at a truck they had. It drove funny so we took it to get looked at. There some major repairs that needed to be done. We took the estimate to them and they would not budge on the price. They were convinced they could sell it to someone who doesnt know any better....

Scott was great over the phone but when I showed up in person he was not there and his Brother had no interest in selling me 2 cars! he told me the lowest price car was 10 thousand yet on their web page he had cars listed as low as 3700. I brought cash with me to purchase vehicles out right and walked away with nothing not even a test drive. THEY DONT WANT TO SELL CARS!!

My son and I were looking for a vehicle we were pleased first of all that this dealer offered the free Carfax on the website which helped us greatly with our initial research. Upon arriving at the dealership we found a no pressure sales representative that allowed us to look freely at the car and answer questions as we needed them. Cindy took care of all paperwork registration etc., we found her very pleasant efficient and helpful. Overall this was a very good car buying experience.

They would have been good if they allowed me to pick up my SUV when I wanted to if they actually cleaned it instead of making it a mess after I requested for it to be cleaned and if they didnt drive it for 250 miles after I had already started the deal with them for it the way you run a business is you dont drive the car thats in a deal you clean the car before you give it to people and you make sure that everything is nice then they almost didnt give me my registration on time I had to call and make sure it was done and the only reason I did is I work for insurance and know how it works other people will probably be getting their license is suspended because they dont handle things in a timely manner

I just purchased me 2012 Hyundai Accent, the office manager was great! Paperwork was easy! Easy financing. And the staff is very nice and great customer service! 5 stars isn’t enough .

Thought i was getting a great deal. However the price paid is not what was agreed upon. We negotiated 8300 + sales tax & all the other dealer fees. After not even giving me the paperwork, they rushed and sent me on my way in my brand new car. However a couple weeks later, after everything was said and done. After all the paperwork was completed and processed, i still ended up paying the sticker price 8995 plus all the fees. Not to mention the high interest rate from financing. I went in and told them we agreed on 8300, and they still mentioned that well, theres also a fee the finance group charges us which has to be added. So basically, see all the paperwork including the bill of sale before you actually sign and take the keys. They are just like all the other dealers trying to get the most money out of you. Oh yeah, i almost forgot, the day i got the car they also tried to swipe my card for $500 without asking my permission (because i was in the bathroom). Luckily my girlfriend was there to stop them and tell them they need to ask me first before charging. A week after that they tried to say i only paid $200, until i whipped out my receipt showing i paid $500. Shady...just shady...

I just bought a car there in March with a $2000 extended warranty, and not 2 weeks later my car was in the shop, bad front end suspension and bearings, which the mechanic said was unsafe to drive.At the time of purchase i made it clear I had a new job and will rely heavily on the integrity of the car and was assured that they checked it out and everything was fine. Well, that wasnt the case. I reported that I had multiple warning lights and my car had metal upon metal grinding noise, he (Mike) said to bring it in to the shop, which I did after work. He sent me to his mechanic on Friday morning and by Monday morning, no calls from Mike and after multiple calls from me I find out that the car was not fixed and another Carisma sales person asked why I didnt take it to a dealer instead of coming to them. I informed him that was what I was told and the mechanic said the warranty folks wanted to investigate the repairs....ensuring my inability to go to work, jeopardizing my livelihood to support my family. I called Mike for a remedy and suggestions but no calls were returned, for days.I was put in an unreliable car that was overpriced, with no support when I needed it the most. A dangerous situation that cost me my job and no one cared. Shop here at your own risk.I am still waiting for a reply from Carisma and have rented a car to get to work and will update this post once a remedy is provided because I feel that I have no recourse to this criminal behavior. Lies upon lies behind a smile thus far but I will be fair and update this post. First time buyers be warned...the APR is a staggering 26% !!!!!! You will end up paying double the sticker price.Update:No accountability for the repairs needed for a car they said was in good condition and used less than 200 miles....none. Repairs are on you, the buyer. Beware!They will forget about you as soon as you sign that contract or make a purchase.After 500 miles, I have replaced the brakes, bearings, new tires, and several other parts that equates to about $1,400. That is after Scott saying the car if fine and safe, we check them carefully.Update: 4 months later I asked for a refund and the dealership is holding almost 50% of my $2000 warranty plan money, for NO SERVICES RENDERED. BEWARE FOLKS!Mike read this review and refused to make it right, also hung up the phone and showed his true colors by NOT REFUNDING his portion of MY $2000 cash deposit.Threatening your customers will get these kind of reviews, Mike.

Purchased a 2007 Toyota Solara Convertible last month from this dealership. The car was very clean, it has been one month, no problems so far. The car runs great. The price was competitive. They did all the documents very well. I was in and out in minutes. I would highly recommend anyone to this group for used cars.

Do not do business with these people. They sold me a bad car, got me financed. I took the car back and they gave me a full refund but never gave the finance company the paperwork to show that they canceled the contract. Now the finance company wants me to pay for a car I haven’t had in a month! STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!

If I could leave zero stars I would first off they said they were doing the brakes before we bought the car which was a lie. Right after we have car we notice the brakes so we say something its literally day after we purchased they say bring it in and pay half at this point we are like whatever so we do it because obviously we dont want bad breaks for 2 weeks later to hear are brakes again so my husband takes the wheels apart to find out they only did one side. So we call them they say you have to pay half not for nothing but you were supposed to fix brakes and everything was up to date when we got it, false, than we pay fix brakes you guys do one side, for us to have you guys do the other side now. And than you say on phone not are problem you bought the car already.. not cool at all

Carisma uses Scam Bait-and-Switch tactics to sell cars that do not even exist at their location. I have to talk Chris and Amanda are who works there lying multiple times under different names to try and gets me to purchase a different car other than the deal car they had posted as their mate I will never do business with a company like this again and I do not recommend anyone ever doing business with this company. I am actually reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. This needs to be taken seriously as I had driven over 60 to 70 miles to see their fake car that had just sold only to contact them again via Facebook under a new name to hear it was guaranteed still there, in the parking lot.

I was there 9/11/2019 and it was the best time of my life they helped us, they took us on a test drive of my new car and they treat you like family honest, it may look like a shady car dealer but dont let looks fool you the people there are kind.

I drove from Gainesville to look at a car at another dealership. It was awful. I looked for other cars in the area and found one at Carisma, got there and loved it, was going to buy it and someone who had looked at it earlier, but wanted to take it to a mechanic the next morning, came back in and got upset because I was buying it. They had another similar car so I drove it, because I felt bad and ended up liking it better. They Tried to call the other person back but she has already left a bad review. My experience was great!

When it came to trying to get financing they didnt get all of the information that I had to give. I feel that if they got the correct information I would have been able to purchase the car.

Be careful buyer. Beware! These guys are the typical used car salesmen. They buy autos from auction, clean them up, PAINT the under carriage, do a little paint touch up and sell for huge profit. They do NOT check for mechanical damages, no point inspections no care for the safety of the drivers, none at all.In fact, when told that my car, bought less than a month, was making some grinding noises the salesman (Scott) said, it is not dangerous, drive on....bring it to the shop when you have time..I took it to him and was promptly sent elsewhere, paying over $500 for repairs, that the mechanic deemed to be too dangerous to even test drive. A very apathetic and callous dealership who puts profit above safety of buyers. BEWARE!!!Less than a month of owning this car has cost me over $2,000 in repairs. Never again.

A very smooth transaction with a family atmosphere. Theyve been around for over 20 years so they have a solid reputation. I would buy from them again!!

Well it was an interesting experience no doubt. Sam took care of me from beginning to end. Bank loan was a challenge to say the least but he got it done. Bought an 11 Mini Cooper S and drove it to NC on a 600 mile trip the next day with no issues. Overall im happy with the purchase and thank you Sam.

Worst car buying experience I have ever had. Dont trust the word of the staff here because they will not hold it. Bought a car, before purchase it only had 1 key, sales manager said no problem, we will get it cut and shipped to you, no problem. He had bought the cheapest key ebay had to offer and sent it to me uncut and un-programmed of course. He said to take it to home depot or Walmart and have it cut for $5, and of course they dont cut these kind of keys. Give them another call after running all over town to hardware stores and lock smiths, everyone telling me to go to the dealer. They say ok, go to the dealer and we will pay the bill. Dealer says the key I was given is not going to work, need a real ford key, total comes to $218. Go back to the dealer to get reimbursement and he didnt want to pay it and said the very most I can do is give you $100. Now Im out a little over $100, 2 trips an hour and a half away for something that was going to be taken care of no problem. More money wasted to this no good dealer. Not to mention battery went bad in first month, check engine light, bad radio, engine malfunctions ect. ect. Do not trust them, they will tell you anything you want to hear to get the sale.

Worst worst worst “dealer” I’ve ever had the misfortune to visit. Tolga is one of the most dishonest people I’ve ever met in my life. Horrible salesman and 100% liar. I flew from Atlanta to buy a van that Tolga said was in perfect condition and I quote “does not need anything”. Well I get down to Tampa airport and the lies start, he said his driver was out and couldn’t pick me up so just take a cab over to the dealership and he’d reimburse me. When I get to the dealership the van is completely not what he said and the pictures online did not look anything like it did in person. Whole roof needed paint, all the rubber trim was rotting off, front bumper was faded and pitted terribly. The ac didn’t work, the rear dvd didn’t work, even after I specifically asked if the dvd worked. Tolga said “yes” works great. After I tried it using it and it did not function I asked him I thought you said it worked? He said..”oh, well my tech said it did. Guess not then, I don’t know how to work those things”. Well long story shorter I didn’t buy the van and I sat at the dealership for 3 hours or so buying another plane ticket and looking for another van. No one offered to take me back to the airport, so I had to get another ride to another dealership where I bought another van from an actual dealership with professionals. I was never reimbursed for the cab ride, no apologies for the out right lies Tolga told me. I know this is long and for those who read it all I really hope this will keep you away from this horrible place of business.I lost over $400 because of them. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!

Im an out of state customer and just purchased my chevy S10 it was a great experience and Scott gave a great price walking out the door, Cindy was quick withpaper work and they were professional and very nice. I would definitely recommend carisma to everyone!

Very unprofessional.I found a car that I loved and applied forFinancing, I get a phone call from Mike with questions about my application and that was it. About 2 hrs later another gentleman calls me and tells me I’ve been approved! And when I wanted to come pick up the car. I let him know that I will call back for details during business hrs. I call the next morning 3 times with no return call. Mike never called back at all, after calling back the last time when I finally did get to speak with mike he told me that I would have to put down $1500 more money than what he agreed on. My credit isn’t even bad lol and I had no problem going somewhere else I was just hoping these guys could be decent and fast but they’re just another waste of time. Do better guys!

Great cars for great prices. 30 days same as cash! Just bought a Cadillac escalade for under the Kelly blue book price wonderful staff. I am always weary of used car lot scams but at Carism they were helpful, honest and would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to check out their great selection.

If you want an honest dealership this is the one to come to we were told on the phone within a minute or so that this was a fantastic car so we drove a little over an hour to get to it at my surprise it was more than what I would expect I would love to say thank you to the people at this dealership they were kind they were fun and make sure that everything we want it was right there all we had to do is ask for it thank you thank you again I think its better than what they told me I would consider their cars at the top best that Ive ever bought and all the years that Ive been buying car and thats a quite a few years recommend you betcha I will be telling a lot of my friends about them everybody I seen come into their place were smiling and happy and you dont normally find that at a dealership you usually people are upset because it took too long or or the price wasnt right but they work with you thank you Scott and Cindy and by the way when you see this and you go in there tell him RJ and Susan said hi

Bought a couple cars from this dealer and their other dealership; great customer service! Very flexible & helpful not like the rest of the buy here pay here dealers that are all about the $$ & themselves, they will work with you & make sure you can pay your car payment so that nobody losses.

Nice clean vehicles

I put 2500 down on a 2008 Ford 150. A week after I bought the truck it went in the shop (their mechanic) and its still in the shop 3 weeks later. Called the mechanic this morning and the owner told me the truck is almost done. I went by there this afternoon and nothing has been to my truck.These people are crooks and so is the mechanic they use.I would never buy anything from these people or their associates.STAY AWAY FROM CARISMA AUTO GROUP THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES!!There should be some kind of recourse for the buyer. This is not fair to the consumer!!
