AMAZING customer service and quality assistance with my vehicle! Jose was so kind and incredibly generous. He made sure my tires were safe and aligned for my long commutes to work! I would highly recommend coming here!!!

I visited this shop for the first time yesterday because of a nail I had in one of my front tires. I arrived shortly after 5pm., close to their closing time, and was promptly greeted with a friendly smile, by Jose. When I told him my problem he assured me that if the tire was repairable it would be taken care of. Lucky for me, it was, and I was taken care of by one of the service technicians; who I could tell by his work ethic, that he is one of their BEST workers. Hes a hard worker! At checkout, Jose treated me right with a price I deserved, informed me that I needed new tires in the near future and that he would give me a great price on them. Overall, I was very satisfied with the services I received, and will be a return customer.

We had a flat tire and no appointment but they made time for us and provided the best service possible! It was quick, efficient, and honest. Jose who was managing the front was so professional and helpful that they definitely won a customer for life!

CUSTOMER BEWARE!! I moved my son to Tampa 8/19 - 22. Before heading back to MS, my husband found some issues wrong with our sons 2007 Ford Explorer, one of which was a broken inner tie-rod on the drivers side. We took it to this Pep Boys to be worked on - gave them instructions on what to do - repair the drivers side and check the passengers side. Picked the truck up and after looking underneath, you could clearly see the passengers side had been replaced but not the drivers side. Carry the truck back to Pep Boys and ask why. They had made a judgment call to replace the opposite side. My husband asks to see the passenger side part that was removed (he was a mechanic for the MS Hwy Patrol before retiring eight years ago so its not like he doesnt know vehicles). He then tells the manager to take the truck back in and replace the drivers side tie-rod (that was originally supposed to be replaced) and compare it to the passenger side. If the passenger side looks as bad as the drivers side, go ahead and replace it, too. Two hours later we get a call that the truck is ready again. Well, of course, they said the passenger side was as bad but when they showed him both old parts, the passenger side could have been left alone. So we ended up paying for two new parts! Now, our son tells us that the truck is riding terrible and feels like the wheel is about to fall off! Of course he doesnt want to take it back to this same location but who knows if a different location will warranty the work?? PLUS, my son has an aftermarket shifter on his gear shift that the mechanic pretty much broke when he took it up there the second time!

Awesome place to take your car service was superb the guys that work there were so efficient I had my car in and out within 20 minutes highly recommend to go to this location on North Mabry kudos to Michael and his crew

If I could rate this store with a ZERO I absolutely would. Please think twice before you take your vehicle to this location. I have spent $900 at this location and my car is not safe to drive. The store manager Michael and the Master mechanic Roberto are terrible. They replaced a starter that was not necessary; not to mention with a faulty starter at a cost of almost $400. Faulty alignment job, the car smells like antifreeze and my check engine light is still on. I took my car back to this location this morning and was greeted with extreme rudeness and eye rolling(Michael), not to mention that every employee went into a back room in the shop. There are hanging cables and connections that Roberto claimed to know nothing about. I could go on and on about this location. Long story short; do not trust these people with you vehicle; they will sweep you under the rug, do unnecessary repairs without your consent and do more damage to your car.

I took my 2013 Audi A6 3.0t for an oil change (first time not at the dealer). John and Carter did an outstanding job going above and beyond, explaining what they were doing and what other services they could perform at this facility. This will be certainly be my place to go for my car maintenance and services. They work on brakes, tires, etc. Feel confident to take your German cars because they know what they do! They will help you with promotions and you will get the best at a fair price! Keep up the good work!Update, also got tires replaced! Outstanding job again!

Michael and Roberto have been fantastic. My engine blew, they diagnosed it quickly, found a new engine and installed it in a manner that was above and beyond any of my wildest dreams or expectations with a week turn around. They even explained to me that the temp sensor on this model was too low on the engine thus creating my overheating issues. We’ve now installed a new gauge and this car I’ve been trying to get rebuilt drives like a dream! These guys are great. Make sure you use them and try to get Roberto to do your work. Great guy to talk to and will get your car fixed right!

First time at this location and they have definitely restored my thoughts of not doing business with pepboys. I was actually impressed with the manager there and the service provided. I wasnt coerced or manipulated to buy any other services or anything other than my initial purpose for making the appt.

Great customer service from Randy. Took my car in to get estimate on having the rear brakes replaced. He told me I could still get multiple months out of them before being replaced. It was so refreshing to hear someone truly care about their customers. I will now definitely come back when its time to replace them.1-8-17I decided to take my car back and get the rear brakes done today. Patrick and Paul were the gentlemen I dealt with. Both were extremely nice and professional and I was able to get the car taken care of. Great service!

Went to this location today because I had a flat tire, needed it to be patched and these gentlemen here fixed it with no problems! It was even free! I sincerely appreciated all the hard work, even if it was just a simple patch. Will definitely be stopping by sometime soon for other things as well. I highly recommend them!

I drive my car all over for work. Went in to have my struts replaced via their 50% off sale. Had my co-worker call in and ask about a price since I am hard of hearing. The total/full replacement was more than I had, so I got it down to a front replacement since these were worst. The price came back over the phone and I agreed, then brought my car in within a couple of hours to have it worked on. When I went back into the store a few hours later to pay and pick my car up, the price was way over what was agreed on over the phone. All of these extra fees were added on and added up to more than I had when I was already cutting it close for the week. Lyndon, the store manager, without hesitation, gave me the corrected price, which was agreed over the phone and he even walked me out and thanked me for choosing them, asking that I come back in for future service. It was literally a scene from a movie. Ive never met a nicer, more humble person than him. Hes a gift to this world. Also, my car drives very nicely and with ease now. I can notice a difference that doesnt have me grinding my teeth with worry while I drive anymore. I couldnt be happier or more appreciative of their service. Will recommend them over and over again. Have been going here for years. However, not anymore. Brought in car for for an existing issue but car was drivable. Techs state part fell apart during inspection therefore no way to reassemble. So options are pay us to fix it or take car somewhere else in unsafe driving condition. When I complained, they offered to have us apply for credit car, if couldnt afford it for discount 60 dollar discount on a 380 dollar fix. Hostage tactics!!! From rating dont think they truly care about customers feedback. Just a warning. How you bring your car in may not be returned to you in same condition (and not for the better).

I stopped in here about 45 mins before closing time with a flat tire. After just a short wait, they repaired my flat tire and didnt even charge me for it! I was stunned to see an auto service store pay it forward like this! The gentleman who helped me (Carson, maybe?) was so pleasant even though I know he was tired after a hard days work. A bolt come off of my transmission bracket. Leaving the transmission hanging 3 inches lower than it should have been. The employees at this location quickly took care of my needs, fixed the issue, and didnt even charge me. Great service from the moment I walked in, which in turn has given me the trust to take my car here for any mechanical needs. I thank you!!!

I was told I needed a new tire because they found a nail on the inside wall of my (also new) tire, went somewhere else because their quote was too expensive and was physically shown that instead- I had a small nail on the tread and they assured me a new tire was not necessary... got it plugged for $8 and haven’t had an issue since. The whole reason I went there was for a quote on new brake pads which I am also thankful I did not have done there- knowing now that they lied.

They try to scam people all the time. They try telling you your car has all thia things wrong when is a scam to make $$$. Dont do business with this people horrible service too.

Quick and reasonably priced. The service writer Tim was courteous and helpful. Pep Boys in general are faster than other places: this location is top notch.

Ken and team are always fast and reliable. The upselling that occurs at ALL auto shops is more based on needs at this Pep Boys compared to some other shops. I came in today for an oil change and they found that my wheels were badly out of alignment. The price was reasonable and now the car drives straight as an arrow. A few months ago, I accidentally scheduled an appt online for new tires at the wrong location. However, the service was so outstanding, that when I needed an oil change, I booked my appt with this location (about halfway between work & home). They filled my tires with air and were quick & so nice. They will never sell you a service you dont need, no matter who you are. Honesty is key with a mechanic, and these guys are consistently trustworthy. They even let me know there was a coupon, which I had already! Highly recommend this location!

Went in to fix my over heating car charged me 350 .come to find out it wasint what they did that was the problem turns out it was the radiator and now it costs 630 to fix so what about my 350 i already gave you Tried charging me 630 $ to install a radiator. Got it done for 350$ somewhere else. Please do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else. This is truly horrible.

Friendly customer service. That aside did a diagnostic on my car paid 500 dollars to get the problem fixed according to the diagnostic test. Left a few days later same problem, same symptoms.check engine light went back on. I took it back and the problem they failed to recognize from the diangnostic now was going to cost 1100. So aside from the 500 dollars that went to fixing a problem that was not fixed it now was going to cost more. I usually am a long time customer and acknowledge that it might usually cost a little more for convenience and friendly service but was willing to pay it. But now I’m never coming back. I hope this is a helpful review so this does not happen to other customers.

UPDATE: Below contains the details of an issue I had. It was resolved fairly quickly after posting this. Below also contains edits detailing it getting resolved. Original rating was 2, now Ive updated it to 4.Went in for an oil change, got my car checked out while I was at it. Was told I needed some rear break pads replaced, rotors resurfaced, and a rear shock replaced also. All that, with the oil change, inspection, and wipers replacement was quoted at $705. I was then told the shocks couldnt get in that day, I would have to come back tomorrow but the rest could be done. So I agreed to that, paid for what did get done, $464.So far so good, but then came in for the shock replacement. I was told they didnt have it (even though it was ordered before I left the first time and there was extra time since I showed two days later rather than the one I was told it would take). So they didnt have it, so they said they could order again. Was then quoted $390 for the shock replacement....$705 - $464 = $241. The new quoted price was ~$150 more... Eventually the lowest quote I was given was $340, still $100 more than the original quote, for a mistake on their part... Nah, Im not going to pay you more for your own mistakes, I would literally rather go pay more than the new asking price somewhere else than support such nonsense..Oh also, even looking at my receipt it says declined rear shock replacement - $297”. I didnt decline it. Also that price is ALSO lower than the lowest new quote I was given...Only reason Im not giving one star is because I appreciate they stayed open a little late so I could get my car finished and picked up for the first part.EDIT: Contacted the email the owner told me to. We shall see what happens. Will update accordinglyEDIT 2: I have been contacted back, promised the original price will be honored and even reduced. Will update again once it is resolvedEDIT 3: Alright so I was contacted the day after this review and promised the original quote with a reduction, $200. I was contacted again the following day to check that I was contacted and my issue was addressed. I was contacted again today to inform me my part was in. Went in, got it fixed, the promised reduced price was honored and that was that.

John Mitchell the most professional manager ive come across anywhere let alone at a Pep Boys. He is extremely honest in his opinions and takes the iniative to make sure things are done right, even if he has to go out of his way to acheive that standard. Im EXTREMELY happy with his service and will make sure I continue to recommend him to friends and family like I already have! I dont know how to thank him enough so im writing a review and I have NEVER wrote a google review before to be completely honest!

Avoid by all means!!! Struggle with completing a tire balance. Myself and another customer who was very knowledgeable with car care gave directions on getting our service completed. The customer giving direction to the so called experts. Mmmm not a good look

I had already got an estimate and set appointment to replace my shocks and brakes for Friday with Shawn Patrick. Before Friday arrived, I pulled into my company parking lot in which my car totally stopped running. I had it towed to Pep Boys, Shawn and Lyden -Manager, took excellent care of my car. One of many parts I required wasnt going to arrive until the next day, Lyden drove to New Port Richey to pick up the part and my car was ready at the end of the day. They provided all discounts available and Im very pleased. They are all professionals and truly care about you. I highly recommend them and they are earned my future business.

Dont ever take your car for alignment here worst place ever. Techs are not well trained.

Avoid this place, they tried to put 7.4 quarts of 0w20 oil in my car when it takes 6.3 quarts of 0w30 or 0w40.. would have destroyed my motor.. nothing against the guys in the shop but the guy in the office was an idiot.

They wanted $700+ to do a ton of brake work on a 2 year old Caravan. They tried to keep us from leaving because it was unsafe, but we got out of there and took it to another shop where they just did new pads and it was fine for years. Never again.

Great service and they had me in and out in no time. Would definitely go back.

Awful!!!!!! I was given an outrageous quote for front brakes and was able to go to AAMCO on Florida and they did the job almost $300 cheaper! I basically felt that since I was a woman they were trying to hussle me! Definitely would not recommend them.

Long story short....been back three times to fix the same problem. They completely lied to my face all three times. This place is really trying my patients!!!!!

My fiance and I have taken our car to this Just Brakes location TWICE now and both times they have completely lied to us about what needed to be fixed on our car.We went in the second time specifically telling them we ONLY wanted the BRAKES done. They took our car apart and proceeded to tell us our entire brakes system was broken in the front and needed to be replaced. They told us our car was unsafe to drive because our rotors were under spec and above all quoted us a price of $1600 to fix our struts and everything else. We both said absolutely not and I called our family mechanic.Our family mechanic took a look at our car and found nothing wrong with the brakes system and told us our car was completely safe for driving. The actual problem was a CV Axel they didnt even mention when they were quoting us the price!DONT GO HERE. You will waste you money. The workers are dishonest and trying to scare you out of your money.
