Didn’t have the book I needed. I was told to just order it online but it won’t arrive for a week. I’m in a cohort with a certain amount of students in the class, so there’s no reason why they shouldn’t have the right amount of books based on how many students are in the cohort and are going to need the book.

They charged me $69 for the engineering kit, I found the same engineering kit for less than $30 online.The most expensive college bookstore. They try to take every cent from student by over charging for the material or books that can be found for less than half the price of what they are selling or renting.Stop scamming students who is trying to save money to pay the tuition fees.And also stop charging a $20 code fee if a student is taking an online class, a student can use that $20 for gas or food.

Pricesll vary from why would anyone buy that, to hey thats pretty good. Recommend a bit of price checking otherwise not bad for if i forget or need something or something to snack on

Honestly, I dont think that there is any college book store that will sell you what you need without trying to take every cent that they can get, and the tcc book store proved to be no exception. Instead of selling five hour energy at 200% retail and stress balls at the checkout desk, Im sure students would appreciate reasonably priced books and staff that are not legally obligated to get you to waste money in the bookstore when books are less expensive elsewhere. For my computer class I needed an activation code for some online software, book included (but extremely unnecessary for the class) the bookstore would charge 20 more for the already $100+ purchase than I found in 5 minutes online.

Heads up for new students get your books before class starts because you never know it might sell out during the frist week. Also theyre very helpful and will help you find your books!

Yes, I know, I know... there are times where the bookstore can be insanely busy. However, the store manager is absolutely one of the most thorough, compassionate, REAL people Ive ever met. She went above and me beyond more than one, to help me. The other employees have always been courteous and if they did need help they reached out. Im not into lots of people on small spaces...so during the start of a semester it can be intimidating. Take a deep breath and remember you can get in and out of that place pretty fast! Plus....this is your education, its so worth it.

Staff is always helpful and got my class books in a short time. A bit pricey but can be expected in a college bookstore. Some printer inks are never in stock. Or I have horrible timing after checking over a dozen time.

If you do anything online via LRNR then buy the code on the website. They charge an extra 20 bucks for a code.

TCC bookstore is a pretty good store if you have financial aid or just want some TCC merchandise. The books for classes are, naturally, full priced but they have a lot of other supplies that can be bought for much cheaper elsewhere.

Staff had me in and out in no time at all. Over all good experience.

Employees aren’t helpful at all, they don’t even know what products they have in the store, management isn’t any better, so don’t even think about a refund if you open an item, can’t even exchange or get score credit.

Go first on Amazon to find the books you need for your classes. Theyre 9 out of 10 chances cheaper than the ones for rent/sale here.
