Typical college bookstore except that they have a convenient parking garage attached. Also, I dont know if this is typical, but our granddaughter was able to order books on line in advance. Pick up was easy and efficient. Thanks, FSU.

Picked up a graduation gift, lots of great options to choose from. Wasnt busy at all this Saturday afternoon. Checkout was quick, polite staff, and still following Covid-19 precautions which was reassuring. Parking was a cinch in the attached parking garage.

I work on campus so shopping here is very convenient. They have a huge selection on FSU gear and other much needed necessities. The manager I’ve had to deal with regarding an online order was very helpful and accommodating. He worked hard to resolve the issue. I highly recommend shopping here to support local/on campus stores.

I’m a sucker for Spanish moss so I instantly fell in love with this campus. Clean, easy to get around and everyone was wearing masks. The few people we met were incredibly friendly and clearly happy and proud to be at UF.

Very expensive, questionable quality. I bought my son a Marching Chiefs CD for Christmas; costed $20! Got home and found out I bought a used disc that was scratched.

The staff is so nice and helpful and they’re dog friendly!

UPDATE: sent a feedback of my experience and Phil, the operations manager, kindly responded saying to go back in and for the return desk to call him over so I can refund or exchange. If you ever find a problem here Id recommend talking to Phil. Hes a really nice and understanding guy who also happens to be in charge!Dont buy anything already remotely damaged in packaging. Otherwise when you want to return/exchange it they will blame you for the damage and not care at all. The blonde manager is also very rude. Was told to go to her to explain it was damaged when I bought it, and she didnt look at me once when I was speaking to her (instead looking at her clipboard). She just walked off mumbling something I couldnt hear and grabbed the technology manager to pretty much show she wanted nothing to do with me at all. The technology manager just treated me like I was stupid for returning something that was obviously damaged (the packaging). Their stuff is already expensive and now I have something I cant even use.

This place is a dump

Very Pricey, but a wide selection of products and good if you are in a pinch. Just dont pay $1 for a pack of ramen noodles.

Aside from textbooks, not all of their prices are hiked up, surprisingly. Out of season clothes can go for pretty cheap there. Engineering paper is the same price if not lower than staples.Basically, good for any comodity other than books.

Did not go about handling new rules during covid-19 right at all. Started out by not letting me use the restroom and told me to walk to a different building which turned out to be closed. I didn’t want to shop or do anything. Never received an email saying the book return date had been extended or that I could pre-order my books online and pick them up. Very upset with the service I received today from the book store and Florida State University.

When youre on campus, its convenient to purchase your books, but you can usually find your books at other places for cheaper prices.

No FSU circus merch. Whats the point?

Great place for school supplies that you need. Check out the Dollar Store for things you might think are too expensive. Target is okay but still pricey. Sadly Wal-Mart has some cheap prices but the dollar store will be your most frugal bet. Believe me. Dont fall for the classist, capitalist b.s. prices. Unless you have the cash the kill.

This one has the best clearance items among the FSU bookstores Ive visited. They also have computers with prices reflecting education discounts.

FSUs Bookstore is, by far, the most expansively-stocked university bookstore Ive ever been to.Compared to FSUs Bookstore, my alma maters bookstores look like Dollar General. The FSU Bookstore has everything, including regal dress items like Osceola-themed ties and fabric inlay belts.I always visit this place when I am seeing my people in Tallahassee.

The bookstore is a place that has everything. I often choose to order my textbooks online to save time, though - it seems like finding textbooks yourself could be a chore!In terms of apparel, they have everything Florida State - the only catch is that you are going to pay exactly what you think youd have to pay - high prices! Id recommend checking out Garnet and Gold if youre going to buy apparel.

People are great, large selection of FSU gear and any stationary needs for class.

The womens t- shirts are are so cute. It is real easy to get notebooks,pens, pencils, etc at a reasonable price too..

My boys go to school at F.S.U and as a mom who lives far away i had the luck of getting Jacklyn on the phone today and she was so kind and so helpful and handled a problem perfectly,so i did not have to have try to wrangle and explain and have my kids do my return and repurchase, so impressed with her

You can get some cool FSU merch... That being said, everything can be found cheaper online...That being said the bookstore does do price matching with Amazon and Barnes and Nobles. If you show the person at the register a web link that has the exact same book sold by Amazon (not other merchants), or Barnes and Nobles, they will give you the price difference on a book store gift card. As a broke college student, Id still prefer to save the actual money and buy the book elsewhere, but if you absolutely need the book immediately, the option is there.

The book stores great the people are friendly I never have trouble finding anything and there is always something on clearance.

Great customer service! FedEx lost my book so FSU sent me a new copy, I originally ordered a used. They then called me later to tell me that they were able to track it down, FedEx delivered to the wrong house and that person sent it back. Fail FedEx but great service from the bookstore.

I have almost always enjoyed my experience in this bookstore. I go in after sports seasons and they seem to have great sales on clothes. The store is always clean and well kept. The employees seem to always be in good moods and willing to help. The prices are very high unless you catch on sale. There is gear for men, women, kids, and toddlers. They have balls, school supplies, computers, snack, and other fun FSU themed accessories or home décor.

I gotta say, this is a great bookstore. Large, well stocked with an amazing array of shirts, caps, scarves, shoes and omg I don’t even know what kinds of accessories and gifts such as frames, keychains, mugs, license plate frames, etc. I perused the merchandise along with my son (a recent graduate), his girlfriend (who had graduated that day) and her family. Between us we practically bought out the store! It’s saying something huge that I actually found an ‘FSU mom’ shirt I would wear, since I attended the biggest FSU rival University in the state of Florida🐊!

If you want anything for your fur baby, spouse, kiddos, friends, family, or yourself FSU. This is definitely the place to go. Plenty of help finding the right thing. Also, on game day get free popcorn. Staff was friendly, smiling, and helpful. Prices were very reasonable. They have everything from what tailgaters need to nic nacs to clothing.

Amazing selection of merchandise. Range of prices. Good selection on the sale rack. Plenty of registers open. Slippers. Jammies. Mugs. Insulated cups. Playing cards. Even ladies dress shoes....you name it, it was there in FSU colors.

Ive never seen a college bookstore employees uneducated or know whats supposed to be happening with graduating students! My daughter and her friend was told they didnt have to turn in their caps but when my daughter was checking out she was told she had to turn in her cap, her friend had already checked out and left with her cap!!! Also, FSU is so cheap, they gave all guests at graduation a 3 page paper program that didnt have not one persons name in it that was graduating!!! Which means of course the parents didnt get a REAL program but we found out after graduation that the graduates hot a REAL program! FSU what a cheapskate!!!! Even GA State Unv did better than Cheapskate FSU and of course The Ohio State Unv, my son graduated from there!

Once again this campus store is the bomb. Great merch and awesome associates!

The bookstore always has exactly what I need! From Nole gear to laptop stuff & textbooks. Everyone who works their is beyond helpful even during the crazy first week of classes. Id rather go to the bookstore & spend a little bit more than go anywhere else on campus!

Nice place! We were in town for the Mac Crutchfield meet. We usually like to pick up swim caps for our duaghter to wear to practice to show where we have been. She is also a junior in HS and uses these opportunities to look at prospective colleges. Unfortunately this bookstore doesnt sell swim caps. When asked who does or where can I go, no one knew. We had a good time at FSU where my daughter made finals for a total of 7 events. Sure would have like to have purchased and FSU Swim cap!!

High priced like any typical college bookstore. Staff is nice and helped a lot. However, one of the cashiers ran my account wrong so eh.

Highly disappointed in the service that I’ve received from FSU bookstore. I ordered a package to be sent to me overnight 3 days ago. Long story less long, I don’t have my package nor is it even on its way to me. Whoever processed my order NEVER SCHEDULED A PICKUP WITH FEDEX SO MY ORDER IS STILL SITTING IN THE STORE INSTEAD OF BEING AT MY HOUSE ALREADY! When people pay an arm and a leg for overnight shipping they usually expect their order within 1 to 2 business days. What I will say that’s positive is that FSU bookstore refunded me my shipping cost, they didn’t have to do that. However, I’d much rather have the order then the 20 bucks that it cost to ship it. This order was a gift for someone’s birthday and now they have to wait a few more days all because someone failed to do their job. All in all, I’m very disappointed with this service.

The bookstore is okay because they work very hard to compensate for the huge masses of people that will come in during syllabus week and the checkout lines are okay. The only problem is the lines for the online order pickup and the low compensation for reselling books. The prices for merchandise are obviously very high and they trick you with sales but the prices are still ridiculous. Other than that, its a great place to go as an FSU future student, current student, alum, or just die hard fan.

The charm on the graduation tassel came off. I called the bookstore to purchase another one. After several calls finally xxxxxx called me back. I was told that the charm was being put in the mail (May 17, 17) have still not received it. Once again I called the store and was told that xxxxx would get back to me.....have still not heard from her. Didnt think putting a charm in the mail was such a hard task for the employees.

Good selection of stuff, but horrendously overpriced. Be prepared to overpay if you go here. Otherwise, a fine store.

Excellent selection of FSU merch, decent clearance section, ALWAYS well staffed with curious, knowledgeable folks, and well laid-out with wide aisles so you can get by when its busy. They carry some really cool items (like the FSU spear lapel pins!) And all the latest gear. Text book prices are higher compared to online places, so check prices before you go. Parking is limited/non-existent if you dont have a parking permit.

My first complaint is that most books are ridiculously overpriced, as are the school supplies. Everyone knows that and it is not what prompted this review. My recent experience was dissatisfactory to say the least. I went online to price check my books for the semester and also an iclicker that is required for one of my classes before the semester started. The used iclicker in store was listed for $36 and in stock as of 1/10/18. I went that morning to buy it but was informed they were out of used ones and if I wanted one, Id have to buy the new one for $47. Irked, I asked if they would price match Amazon since a new clicker is $38 there. If I had known they were out of stock I could have ordered it on Monday and had it in the mail by Wednesday. The clerk consulted with a couple other people and they concluded they could not price match so I ordered the clicker from Amazon. Heres the worst part: when I got to class I spoke with another student who said the bookstore did price match Amazon for him and his clicker. I work full time and go to school full time so my time and money are especially tight and the bookstore wasted them both. $12 may seem insignificant but thats a few meals for me. Im irritated that the rating here is so high when everything is overpriced and customer service is lousy and the only thing they know how to do is scam broke college students out of their (or their parents) money because they know theyre the only game in town (other than Amazon if you can wait for your items to ship)
