It’s always funny to go into this goodwill to see used shoes that are cheaper online new. Lol who is pricing the shoes? $60 for used new balance? Found this same model online for $40 brand new. Used Jordan flight shoes for $100 that are clearly old and beat up and yellowed. Is this a goodwill or are they eBay resellers? You guys are getting free inventory. FREE

All the reviews are accurate. Wish they bought books and were more giving then just taking all the time. Feels like Im being set up everytime I purchase something from there it gets stolen/damaged. Implementing some sort of trade system or lost and found due to the fact 100% of the items are donated so everything is a profit. Ive recovered some lost/stolen items from Goodwill.

Pleasant staff. They do have a large collection of fiction (though the scifi/fantasy selection is woefully inadequate), nonfiction, and some collectible books. As well, they have board games, DVDs, and some knick knacks.

Could spend hours in this book store. Prices of the books are great. I bought 10 books for $40 and all were in excellent condition.

Most of the books are very fairly priced, plus they have a large selection of board/card games, movies, video games, calligraphy stuff/notebooks, etc.

A treasure trove of books of allllll types! Has a childrens corner, games, and puzzles. There are also a few trinkets among the shelves. So glad we went!

I had never been to a Goodwill that was (almost) exclusively a bookstore (there are a few items on top of the shelves that are for sale that double as decor for the bookstore). This one is extremely clean and organized! The employee was busy cleaning and straightening and helping customers while we were there. Many books were priced at $3.99, but some vary from that price. There is a childrens section as well. Parking is available right next to the store.

OMG, they need to hire someone to alphabetize the books! The disarray messed with my head so badly that I couldnt concentrate. That being said, they have a variety, and the prices are decent.

Out of all of the goodwills in Tallahassee, this is my personal favorite. The organization makes it very easy to look through, and Ive never had a problem with the people who work there. It would be nice if they still did the half price stickers, but i dont mind paying four bucks for a book.

Especially good for kids books. We have slowly been collecting the Harry Potter series and they always have a few copies available. They also have diary of a wimpy kid book that my daughter loves. Great place to get books in general.

Sales girl was not friendly. Never once a smile. Not eager to answer questions. Did not feel welcome to ask them. I was not unfriendly, perhaps a little quiet, and did not feel like the attitude was warranted in the slightest.Not a good experience here. Will come back when someone else is working, but I will not shop with young girl with brown hair there.In a word, she was a brat.Only gave 2 stars because the prices were good, but Id rather pay full price for a smile and some simple, friendly answers.

Great place to find an assortment of used books and movies. I found a number of great classic novels, anthologies, and a number of hobby/art related books for $2-5 each. Only negative is its location at the corner of Betton and Thomasville. If you arent heading north on Thomasville or east on Betton, it can be difficult--and sometimes dangerous--getting into the parking lot.

My daughter needed at least 8 books of required reading. We were able to all of the books but 2. The books are in great condition and the prices are great too.

Finally a place to find Goodwill books but in an organized place without the extra layer of dust like in regular stores. Other reviews have noted the ridiculous prices but you can find deals and Goodwill does this anyway in the name of charity. At least they are in halfway decent condition. And my sales girl was super helpful.

Well, putting my issues with the national bureaucrats this place has a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. I stopped to pick up a boom about flower gardening and ended up with 12 books about veggies, landscape, soil maintenance, etc. Great trip!

Finally visited for the first time after passing it by for years. Its ok. Just an old fashion book store. They have it divided & labeled by genre. They also have puzzles, movies and board games and a few tote bags and jewelry.

A wide selection of used books, I think hard back are $4 and paperback $3. We always find fun books for the kids as well such as dogman and Harry Potter.

If you love books youll love this place. It is organized and you can find something great no matter what you like to read. They even have an entire room for kids and young adult books.

Best book store in town! They offer books, textbooks, childrens books, cookbooks, magazines, audiobooks, movies, sheet music, and more at awesome prices. Its a well-organized store with lots of selection. If youre looking for anything book related, shop at this store first. It could save you a ton of money! The cookbook and childrens book selections are particularly expansive. They also offer miscellaneous items at different times like puzzles and games, stationary, costume jewelry, purses, etc. You cant beat their prices, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Its like a treasure trove for book lovers.

If youre looking for an old or rare book, chances are itll turn up at this bookstore. However, be prepared to pay twice what the book is worth. Further, they love to run sales that are not only very limited in scope for a book store but also actively deceptive. At this store Buy one get one free means you only get one free, no matter how many you buy. Caveat Emptor.

A definite danger zone for bibliophiles. Steer clear unless you want affordable selections of decent and sometimes rare quality.My mother used to take me here as a child to browse. Even long after my dissolution from her, Ive had many satisfying experiences. Its a tranquil store located off a very busy road. They host a wide selection of media beyond books including audio books, music CDs, comedy CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, vinyl records, and a lot of other odds and ends.Theres a whole room dedicated to kids books, so its great if youre looking for a place to browse yourself while still being able to let your child look and keep track of them. Whatever staff maintains the store does an average job of it. You wont always find their books in the appropriate genre or correct order for their author, but Im willing to accept that could be due in part to customer negligence. Their prices are lower than most major retailers, but certainly nothing to gawk at for a secondhand book store. They occasionally offer special deals and discounts which is always a pleasant surprise. Much of their selection is of great superficial quality. Youll find some abrasions and signs of shelf wear, but thats to be expected. Ive yet to have issues with internal markings, pages being missing, or any of their other media not functioning properly. Donation here is as easy as dropping off your items at the front desk, but I dont support doing so. I dont think its fair to freely provide a company with means to a profit (even under the guise of being non-profit), but I do think purchasing their wares is acceptable. Personal bias aside though, that process is simple. Their staff is a little hit-and-miss sometimes. Some can be extremely knowledgeable and helpful, others not so much. Perfectly understandable when youre receiving new books everyday, but still frustrating. Theyre always more than willing to help in any way they can though.Much what youd expect overall, but recommended nonetheless.

Ridiculously overpriced. It doesnt matter if you are nicely set up (as they are). It is still a THRIFT store. You cant charge $9 for 20 year old textbooks that you can get online for .01. It makes me ill to shop here. You should be able to go to a thrift store and find a deal. You cant here. Shop on Amazon. Or, just the same, take your money to a full-price bookstore and find a better deal.

Great little used book store that has a nice selection of used books along with some magazines, records, CDs, DVDs and VHS. It’s not the bookmine, but it’s highly organized and easy to get lost in. They even have a section for old/unusual books, a small selection of jewelry and little things to make your library complete.

This goodwill sells on amazon and scans everything from cd`s to textbooks. Not too shy about it either. No bargains or worthwhile books here or at any other goodwills in tallahassee ftm. On a scale of 1 to 5 I give it a zero.
