They also returned the parts they replaced to me. They are trustworthy, expert and reasonably priced. Bring your sewing machine to them.

They were so sweet in helping me find a sewing machine. I ended up with a secondhand Pfaff, and so I got way more features than I thought possible with my budget. Every time I sit down to sew, its a joy with this machine! Im so happy I went in person instead of ordering online.

Went there today because my sewing machine would not thread and I couldn’t figure out the issue. Debbie from Quality Sewing and Vacuum figured it out in less than 10 minutes (the bobbin housing is not where it should be). Would highly recommend this place! Friendly and honest, I would love to go back for classes when this pandemic ends!

I bought the pfaff ambition essential in January of 2020 there were no instruction classes due to the pandemic I have had constant problems with the machine took it back they said they fixed it but they did not I find myself using a inexpensive Janome which works so much better very disappointed in quality sew and vac!!! UPDATE Ispoke with Ken the general manager and explained the problems I was having they were unable to repair the machine as I moved out of state however they agreed to pay for all of the repairs needed by a shop close to where I live. The feed dog just didn’t work before now it works great very pleased that quality sew and vac were able to help me great customer service

I took my sewing machine in to Quality Sew & Vac for maintenance. It was just after the holidays and during covid but it still only took a couple of weeks - they actually got it back to me a week or so prior to what they anticipated. Very business-like and professional services. My beautiful little machine is up and humming like brand new.

I had the best experience at quality sewing. I Was excited to purchase my first sewing machine and went to Jo-Ann Fabrics where they told me. I had to wait 30 minutes for the sales person to arrive then after doing so they told me that the person had probably called in sick and now the wraps were able to sell me a machine. I went to Quality Sewing and was warmly greeted. And able to purchase a machine. Far better quality than the one I would have been able to purchase at the same price point at Jo-Ann Fabrics. I was told I can trade in my machine for up to a year at full value if I want to upgrade. And the sales clerk that helped me even sent me a handwritten thank-you note and sat down with me in the shop to show me how to thread the machine and some of the tricks of the machine which was super helpful. The most amazing thing is that if something goes wrong with my machine, this is the place that can service it as well. And they offer classes and support as you need it. I will never go anywhere else and Im already ready to upgrade my machine, especially because they didnt pressure me to do so at the time of purchase! 100% recommend

They are always knowledgeable and patiently answer all of my questions. I have also used them for all of my service needs in the past and have been satisfied with the service. Super helpful staff! They take time with every customer and never rushed. I brought my sewing machine in thinking it needed service. Employee took 5 minutes to check it out and found several things wrong, mostly operater errors I had made in working machine. All fixed and free of charge! Highly recommend this friendly store.

Quality Sewing and Vacuum in Tacoma has provided consistently excellent service for my sewing machine which I also purchased from them.

I went in to ask if they could look at my machines belt, as my machine wasnt working. Kathy asked if I had the machine with me. She herself walked out with me to my car and carried it into the store. She discovered the bobbin holder was broken. She replaced it and my machine is now working correctly! She even walked back out to my car carrying my machine! Great customer service. I give them 5 stars!I will definitely recommend them!

I absolutely loved the help and attention that we received from Kathy when purchasing my new machine after she had to tell us that my old Pfaff was completely dead and couldnt be revived by any means. Her sense of humor, empathy and support means I will always return to Tacoma. My husband even went there for some of my Christmas gifts!

I took my Kenmore intuition to get my vacuum serviced the guy was very rude and I will never go to that vacuum shop in Tacoma I found a better vacuum cleaner shop in pullyaup I called there the guy name is Joe he was very friendly and Joe told me he will try to fix my Kenmore intuition if not he will give me a trade in I refuse to set foot in the Tacoma vacuum shop Laurie Alvaro

The staff were very informative and patient in training my daughter on how to use the embroidery machine we bought. The training went so well that as soon as we got it set up at home, my daughter completed a beautiful embroidery on a shirt. Very pleased with the product and the staff.

I have been shopping at Quality sewing for several years and have always found the people knowledgeable, friendly and capable. The instructions for the new Bernina 765SE I purchased in 2017 were wonderful and their other classes in quilting have been helpful. Pricing is competitive. The only down side is the 4 week turnaround for having my Bernina service, but they happily provided me with a comparable loaner so I could complete my projects.

My experience with the staff at the Tacoma store is always excellent, from the manager, LeAnn, to the knowledgeable sales staff: Kathy, Evelyn and Tabaya.This past week a friend asked me for help in selecting a new sewing machine. She drove here from Olympia to meet me Sunday afternoon. As it happens, Kathy was working that day. She is so friendly and knowledgeable that my friend was instantly impressed and fell in love with the machine Kathy showed her. Kathy had chosen a machine that was in my friends price range, planned use, and skill level . My friend purchased the machine, a service contract, a special 1/4 inch foot (hoping to begin making quilts) and signed up for lessons to learn how to use her new machine. She is very excited about it all! I felt my confidence in Kathy was justified.Each experience I have with the staff: Matt and Bridgette in the service department, especially; Ruth, former manager of the Tacoma store, and the staff in Tacoma, leaves me believing that they are people I can trust to give me good clear and true information regarding each of the machines and equipment I purchase from your store. It was with a lot of confidence that I brought my friend in on Sunday, not concerned with who might be working that day, knowing any one of them would be great.

Great store, wonderful customer service. Misha was my person and never made me feel hurried or like I was wasting her time. She checked my sewing machine out, and of course it worked beautifully. But. I was back a couple of days later and she was there for me, and this time, my machine acted up. We determined that it would cost almost as much to fix it as it would be to get another one (they were having a wonderful sale, my luck!) so I walked out with a new machine, and a new friend. And she is lucky to work at a great store with lots of friendly people. I even got to see some of Mishas own sewing on display, which is something that I always appreciate...knowing that I am dealing with a knowledgeable person who loves to sew as much as I do. My mother came in with a vacuum cleaner that she loves, but was not working properly. The self propel function was defunct. She told me the service was fantastic. The prior day was extremely frustrating for her and then she had a wonderful experience at your store. Really good costumer service is rare but can sure make someone’s day. Ive been a customer since 1987 and have always had a positive experience.I have purchased 7 machines from them and taken too many classes to keep track of.I also bought a Scan n cut which I love. I am a fan.

It took a moment to get noticed, but once I was assisted the sales lady was very helpful.

Took a full day scheduled class. They treated sewists like queens. They provided a delicious lunch (met some with dietary needs), their system to allow you to select products and pay before leaving was very helpful and I sure appreciated it. Was a very much a learning enjoyable experience. My hat is off to all involved in setting and helping out.

I was really excited to find such a big and nice sewing shop. I went to get a quote to have my sewing machine serviced and possibly repaired. I was greeted kindly by an employee and when I told her I wanted a price quote she sent me over to who I’m assuming was a manager or someone who dealt with the servicing. The lady took one look at me and just quickly gave me the standard pricing for a service without giving me the chance to explain the services I wanted. I did not appreciate the fact that she assumed I had no idea what I was talking about with my own sewing machine. I just felt very uncomfortable, like I was a bother to her and that I didn’t belong in the store due to my age or something. I will definitely not be going back. Very disappointing.

I dont quilt, dont have the patience or skill...but my mom does. She went to a 2 day class to learn to use her machine. She was very happy with their skill level and patience. She would go to classes again, even though its over 100 miles from home. Clean place, knowledgeable staff, friendly, loaned machines to people who were taking the classes so they didnt have to haul their beasts to class. BTW...Its a really, really expensive hobby.

Staff was able to troubleshoot my machine’s problem, (thread caught in the threader), in record time for me to be able to met deadlines. Many hands helped to make it happen so that I was able to keep an important appointment. Staff is always helpful!

I had my Oreck vacuum serviced and repaired at Quality Sewing & Vacuum. The gentleman who repaired my vacuum called within a week and told me what was wrong and how much. He told me it would be ready the following week, which it was. Very happy with the services I received.

Very knowledgeable staff. Trust them with any sewing, quilting, or machine embroidery needs! Any time Im having issues, I just take my project there and somebody will be able to tell me whats going wrong and what I need to change.

The only problem I had was a mischarge on my card that took quite some time to correct. There was also a bit of heavy upselling that seemed excessive. It wont stop me from coming back because the service is great.

I am not usually someone who buys things in a high-pressure-sales dealer store like this. Usually I do a lot of research and look for the best price for the best item... and often I buy online... However, when I realized I wanted a higher end sewing machine, I learned that the good ones are only sold by certain dealers. I really dont like this type of sales... Dealers often dont list their prices online, especially for pricier items, so you cant get information and compare until you get to the store. In my case, Quality Sewing and Vacuum was the only store in my state where I could buy the brand of machine I wanted. I went in frustrated with the situation, made worse because I knew Id be spending more just because I was buying at a dealer... But in the end Im actually quite happy. The sales push was definitely there, but not as bad as it could have been, and the service plan they push is actually not a bad idea if you actually use it for the cleanings. Hopefully I wont need the free parts&service repairs part of it, but if I do, its there. Theyve all been very friendly and willing to do what they can to help make my experience great. While I expect that when buying something for $4000, I know good service isnt always what it should be. Its been a week since my ridiculously big purchase, but Im very happy with my machine and with the store. Tabea was very patient and helpful despite my initial frustration and stress. I would still prefer more competition to drive these outrageous prices down, but thats not the fault of the store. I might even take advantage of some of the free classes to learn a bit about using my fancy new machine.

Just picked up my RICCAR sweeper for a tune up that I have owned since 2008. What a great sweeper!!! I cant thank Quality Sewing and Vacuum enough for the being extremely helpful and the level of customer service that they provided to us. I strongly recommend them for when you have to purchase a new sweeper or if you have to have one repaired.

Staff are aways very helpful whether in person or on the phone. They are always cherrful and accomidating. Classes to learn a new machine are free andyou are encouraged to take the same classif you need to. I have never had a bad experience there at the Tacoma store which is where I go & do business with. I ve been sewing for 55 years. New machine with auto ( no pedal push) button saved my feet &a allowed 8 year old to sew with no worry about foot pedal use. Variable spped dial is great. Sew Class 1 & 2 were very helpful. Instructor answered all my questions on use of new machine. Only suggestion is tell less war stories anr get to the point quickly. If our class had had more people tour teacher style would have left out one on one iinstruction. My daughter & husband took class to learn use of my older machine. Very satisfied and inspired with classes.

One of the only places in town that carries Oreck replacement bags and actually keeps them in stock. And good customer service to boot.

My wife and I wanted to see if there was any good deals at your store on Labor Day. She has been wanting a sewing machine for awhile so we headed down there. Kimber met us at the door with a smile. She was very energetic and informative. She showed us a few machines then said she wanted to show us a really nice machine that was priced great due to the sale. It was really nice, my wife instantly loved it, and we took it home that day. My wife never thought she would own more than just a basic machine, she is so far blown away...worth every penny. We would highly reccomend shopping here, Kimber was great to work with. Also the free classes are a huge plus, my wife looks forward to learning more about her new machine.

I am only giving this a one star because I cant give zero. Dont go here! This place by far has the worst customer service. I came in here to buy a vacuum brush and they told me it broke because my hair is long and need to clean it out more often (okay, not so bad) then I told her I was in a rush and if I could just put the brush on myself at home after I bought it. Well then she kept going saying she learned the hard way to clean out her vacuum brush and how she had to cut her hair because she didnt like changing the brush so often, then suggested me to cut my hair. Then she calls the vacuum guy from the back and he goes on saying I need to treat my vacuum cleaner better because the brush is broken (I came in to buy a brush because obviously I knew it was broken. They dont last forever! Anyways they replaced it for me after all the talk which was annoying, then I came home and my vacuum started smoking and broke the belt. I called them and told them that when they put it back it must not have been on there right. They said it was fault because the vacuum bag was full! What?! I was so mad that I went back there and demanded a refund on the brush and services that they made me get because apparently I cant put on a brush by myself. Well, neither can you guys. Never ever going back!

I was in the Tacoma location today for a sewing class (had NO idea how to use a sewing machine). Joi was AWESOME! She was great with teaching at my level, gave me lots of helpful tips, and was really friendly. The class was free so I kind of expected there to be some sort of costs when I was there, like theyd try to sell me stuff, but that wasnt the case at all. Im sure Ill be going back to Joi for more classes or just some help, and I know Ill be welcomed and have someone who can be so patient with a beginner!

I dropped it off my sewing machine for repairs at the store location in Bellingham during a vacation and had a terrible experience. Not only did I have to wait for 20 minutes while the woman at the service counter discussed her holiday troubles with the customer in front of me, but when I did finally get service the woman was horribly insulting. The company offered to ship my machine to the Tacoma location since I live there. When I picked up my machine, the woman working there was so nice! I explained the problems I had at the Bellingham store when I dropped off the machine and she apologized on their behalf. She then went out of her way to research a solution to my problem and called me the next day to tell me what she had found out. All of this happened about a week ago. I checked the mail today and there was a thank you card and $20 gift card from the Tacoma location. They really went out of their way to make sure that my experience with them was great and remedy a problem that they didnt even cause. I appreciate their effort and will definitely be back.
