This Dollar Tree is the best one when it comes to variety of products that were always stocked up on the shelves. The employees were always nice and very willing to help out customers find what they needed. The store the majority of the time was always clean and organized. Within the 11yrs of going there I can only think of a handful of times it was unorganized which it usually was around Christmas time. Since they had the ceiling fall in I’ve gone to the one by Target. That store is a joke. I can say 9 out of 10x they don’t have what I need in stock. The store is a dirty unorganized mess with not very friendly staff. I’ve also gone to the one on E 72nd. That one is a little bit better then the one by Target. They do have a better variety of products but not as much as 6th Ave. It does seem to be cleaner but also unorganized.

Shopping there was good except they wont let their carts go out of the store. Carrying stuff is difficult for me. I use my Walker and their basket. I would probably spend more if I could have more room.

Great location its just sad what happened to that roof. basically their location at target isnt as good as the other locations because i like getting candy canes and couldnt get any today because of the 6th avenue one being closed off because of the recent development. but hope their location will be repaired and reopened in the near future.

Google has lied to us again.... The store is not open yet. It still has that big hole in the ceiling and I have a little granddaughter crying in the backseat, because she can’t visit her favorite cashier in the world, Miss Judy.

As a job, alarmingly terrible. When you first walk in for an interview, you can get a feel for how incompetent management is. Must be new and not know their way around. Make you wait 25 minutes for an interview (I was polite and giving them 30), then not show up for work on your first day. If you need a job and don’t mind waiting on whenever the managers show up, neat. Otherwise, surely a sign of how bad this job would be.

It was great except one cashier line to almost end second row aisle they got another cashier counted in and made line move quikly

I recently visited this store and usually have found it to be the most presentable of all the Dollar tree stores I had been to except not this time. It was a mess. Floor had merchandise all over and the check out lines (2) were extremely long. I do not like shopping in a store that is cluttered. I have a harder time finding what I am there for and I have to constantly watch what I may step on. I appreciate good prices but not over valuable time.

Great selections and service. Couldnt couldnt find something and was pointed in the right direction.

I mostly shop here for pet products because they cost more than anything else I buy. Also for batteries.

Staff was rude and made me feel as if my business was an inconvenience to them.

I had a bad experience here today.First of all, the store was a mess. Shelves not stocked, items in the wrong places, bins overflowing.Second, the cashier was.... odd. The first thing I noticed about her was that she was slow. It took almost ten minutes to ring up three people, none with more than twenty small items. Then, the lane dividers kept disappearing. We were looking for one along the rack, where they usually are, and no luck. So we grabbed one that was half on the conveyor belt. The cashier scolded us and took it from my friends hand! Apparently she used it to cover the conveyor belt sensor? It was rude. Finally we realized shed been placing the others along the front of the belt where we couldnt see them. We took one and placed it behind our items, so that the woman after us could begin placing our items. The cashier TOOK IT BACK and returned it to the side without saying a word. Again, rude. So the woman after us couldnt unload her cart until we were done and leaving. Also, its worth noting that the woman in front of us was allowed to use multiple lane dividers to separate her orders, but after she used them they were placed where we couldnt see them. And apparently, we werent allowed to use them anyway.I will not return to this location - theres like three others in tacoma and Id rather drive farther if it means being treated better.

I see tasha likes to take advantage of most staff members. I am a regular at this store and the University Place dollars tree .I cant believe how unprofessional she was towards staff behind closed doors people still got ears on how she is to people and Sandra too they both work together to cover there backs but to treat people of color like they do is wrong. I remember when tasha would take her 3 hour lunch and not return did she think people wouldnt notice well I did I am a regular it doesnt matter what store she is at she gets away with to much. Its upsetting to here Sandra the district manager likes to go to the stores to talk about her vacations it should be about work she is unprofessional and to bag check employees off the clock is illegal they also would have people leave their bags in front of the store because they told them too is also illegal. You guys are taking advantage of all types of employees and customer.

Horrible cashier experience this evening....You know the little stick dividers that youre supposed to put between orders on the conveyor belt? So apparently the cashier was using one (which looks identical to the rest) for the purpose of blocking the sensor that controls the belt to turn it on or off.I reached to place it behind my order and he snaps NO. That controls the belt. It honestly startled me. Very rude, and even after I apologized for my apparent error, he neither acknowledged that or that it could be confusing.In short, I would like the manager to know that this is unacceptable. Fix your broken displays and equipment. Also, a tip: use something else like a tape dispenser, or something that wouldnt be confusing in the future.

Their customer service could be better. Staff isnt very friendly there.

Nice selection of goods, only food items cost 1 dollar, everything else carries tax... but not too much. Good location and the staff are friendly.

Seriously the best dollar tree I have been I in which is surprising since they all have their own issues. But this one has the best employees seriously, they are always so nice and help you find stuff and actually make a conversation with you at check out!

Visited this store Saturday Sep 1 2018 despite the store being awesome the cashier I had the pleasure of dealing with was rude and unprofessional. She refused to answer my question about candles, she yelled at another customer who asked about doggy pads, and almost broke my glass vases because she refused to wrap them. This is not the first time I have seen this lady snap on customers. The dollar tree is a loved store but with workers like this it only brings it down.

My son loves to buy cheap little toys here and asks me to take him everytime we are nearby. The employees were nice and the store was clean and organized.

It was not my best experience, but it wasnt the worst either.

This place is very friendly. It seems that they are always short handed at the register, but everyone Ive met is quick to help and courteous. Any bad behavior is always on the customers side. I dont understand why people think because its a Dollar Tree you can act like a snottish slob, but these employees keep the store looking nice. The shelves are neat and the place is clean.

Tons and tons and tons of totally random stuff for most any occasion all for a dollar each, sometimes 2 for a dollar. Just remember you get what you pay for.

The store was super busy, being the day before Easter. The staff was very proactive in getting extra cashiers on in a timely manner.

One of my least favorite Dollar Trees to go to. Always seems to be understaffed and the store is incredibly dirty. Like crazy dirty for a store that staffs actual people.

They are polite and helpful, but the lines are atrocious. Open more checkouts, but they nice.

I gave it a 3 star with the thinking that this is a dollar store, so standards are pretty low. Most of the workers are slothful and dim witted. You will stand in line longer than you should. If you know this going in, the dollar candy is even better.

As for a Dollar Tree store its not bad. It has a cold food area so thats a bonus.
