My diesel motorhome broke down and would not start for more than a few seconds. I called to verify the can service a motorhome and diesel and they can. I had the vehicle towed in on Monday afternoon and they called tuesday with the problem. Wednesday I was able to drive it home. Was expecting to have to wait several weeks but they were very efficient and very friendly. If I have to bring a vehicle in for service again this will be my go to. Thanks all for getting me back on the road and fast at that.

Called and talked to Chris about having my spark plugs replaced. He was very nice and gave me the prices. Explained to him I had it diagnosed somewhere else. He seemed ok with it. When I got there the lady at the front desk was abrupt and not very friendly. When I told her I had it diagnosed else where she tried to convince me they needed to do it. Im sure she was trying to sell me other services. Not keeping the car for long so not putting a bunch of money into it. She really needs to retire.

They dont work on propane Vehicles. What a waste of time. Nice though. Google is still saying that they do work on propane

They did my brakes on my old Toyota several years ago. They were honest and didnt try to rip me off because I was a woman on my own. They also threw in a diagnostics test. I was very happy with the service.

Really... as good as it gets! This mechanic shop has been in my neighborhood forever, is family owned (2 generations) and, SHAME ON ME, I had never checked them out! I have found my cars happy place! Their estimate was more than honest and they stuck to it! Some additional work was needed in the process, they called me, explained what was needed and got my approval BEFORE PROCEEDING. They did the work in the time frame they had set. The waiting / reception area was clean, welcoming and comfortable. Their front desk lady, Rori, is cheerful, welcoming and very helpful! Where to begin! These guys are awesome! I was towed in from Hwy 18 with what I thought was just a bad alternator. It was, but it was because the coolant hoses were leaking heavily into the alternator! And the farther into they got, the more we found wrong (which, without boring you with the back story, ended up not really being a surprise). Since I am from Spokane, they ended up having one of their guys come in on their day off, just to help me make it back to the East side before I had to go to work on the following Monday! THAT is service!I did end up spending a hefty amount, but I would go to them again, no matter what. They are also AAA approved. All around great people.

Had an LX470 suspension conversion kit installed. The folks were great. So far my SUV is riding just like new minus the active suspect control. So, if I can get anther 30k miles of a comfortable ride I am happy.

An absolute joke. I had my Jeep towed there two weeks ago last Monday after I had called the previous Saturday and was told that that’s what I should do since they didn’t want to keep it over the weekend and they would get to it within the week. I called back the following Friday to ask if anything had been done, and I was told that they were swamped and they would call me back the following Monday or Tuesday. Repeat me calling two more times with the same “We’ll call you back tonight or tomorrow!” line thrown at me. We’re giving up at this point because it’s no longer worth it. Over two and a half weeks, and I’m the one who had to call every single time only to be told “Oh, we’ll get to it soon!” Ridiculous. I can’t believe they’re rated over 4 stars.

They were able to figure out a problem on our RV, and get it fixed right away.Very kind and courteous and understanding.

I have an older vehicle (+30 years) and it was having some problems. I thought I knew what it was, but before I ran off and did the repairs I thought I should have someone confirm my suspicions. Took it into Automotive Specialists for a diagnostic. Diagnostic might have been a bit more expensive than other places, but I also didnt feel like I was at a shop out to screw me. This place had plenty of business, clean waiting rooms, bathrooms, TV, etc, so I felt it was maybe worth it to pay a bit more. Their diagnostic found something I wasnt expecting, and after I took the car home and applied a temporary fix to what they said the problem was, I discovered they were utterly, indisputably, 100% right. The car went from sounding like a Hefty bag full of old soup cans to quite as a hybrid. Im happy I took my car here, them doing a correct diagnostic saved me a lot of time and money I would have spent otherwise fixing something that didnt solve the problem. I will be back, I am absolutely satisfied.

I have relied on the qualiy of their work over 9 years. My truck is ready same day & its always returned in a much better condition. Not just the requested repair work (thats always been excellent) but the care given my truck as if it were their own. The rug place mats, wipe down of the interior, they even emptied the bed out. I live very close to A/S & on a very cold day this is what they did for a not needing repairs very often customer: I had a very flat tire caused by a careless construction worker (left very sharp screws in parking lot). They came & jacked up truck, removed tire, repaired tire, replaced tire, & removed jack. All for free!! I could give numerous reasons why U might think they did this but I believe it was done because they are just that quality of people. REALLY. I say that because every person Ive met at A/S is professional & nice. I believe they would have done the same for anyone. I feel their work helps keep me safe in my wonderful 15 + yr old Ford truck!

My cars thermostat broke and i needed it fixed that day. I called around and Automotive Specialists had the best price, so i took my car there. Well lets say there was more wrong with my car then a thermostat.Anyways, they took me home with my 1 yr old son so i could talk to my husband. Had them replace my radiator and thermostat. The shop had it done before the end of the work day and they also sent one of their cars to pick up my son, my 5 yr old daughter, and I up from my house. This is a great shop and know how to take care of the customers. If you can go there and you wont regret it.

If i could give them a zero i would. I spent $5500 on new heads, and it broke down a month later leaking oil and they didnt even look at it i drove by everyday for two weeks and it didnt move from there broke down parking. They told me, now the bottom end is the problem. These people are scums. Highly do Not reccomend them.

I had multiple problems left by another mechanic and an engine replacement shop. I went over all the problems with these guys and they sent me a quote by email. I dropped off my car and they gave me a ride to work. They fixed the problems that we went over and they also took notice of a couple of little things that I had forgot about like the loose radiator cap and a broken retainer pin in my drum brakes. They called and let me know the work was complete and then sent a car to pick me up at no charge. This was done in one day. The next day I had a couple other things I wanted completed. I had the same experience the next day too.First day I had rear wheel cylinder seal done, alignment, knock sensor, oil change, and tranny service.Second day I had bad O2 sensor, and AC repaired along with a couple other PM things they did at no charge.See ya on the go around guys. I was referred to to AS by the folks at Firestone where I take all my vehicles. I had a Diesel issue with my DuraMax. I happen to know the guy Chris up at the front counter. He used to be one my mechanics at Firestone. To me its all about respect. Although I dont agree or really understand this wavier stuff with emissions; they did what they had to do to get me through. I do know Chris and Id I trust him. Ive even just refereed a friend that needs RV Service/Tune up to them. Ill go back if I need something major done to the truck.

We have an old 1984 motorhome and when we first bought it on our way home with it, it died. So after we had it towed home we called Automotive Specialists and spoke with Chris. He was extremely helpful and very personable. He allowed us to drop off the motorhome after hours so they could work on it. They fixed it after about 2 weeks. Well, after all of that, there was still an issue so I called Chris and he told us to bring it back and it would be fixed free of charge since their diagnostic test should have caught the last issue. Now it runs great. These guys are very good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it took so long to fix and they never called to let me know anything....I always had to call after days without hearing anything. Yes they were kinda spendy but honestly the customer service won me over. I will send anyone I know there and my future mechanical needs will be sent their way as well.

I was recently referred to automotive specialists since i had a vibration noise @1800 rpm in my 05 ford 350 powerstroke diesel. I couldnt find it my self. So i brought it to them and Chris said it was probably a exhaust clamp. I gave my truck to them for a week and made several attemps calling. In a week they told me heres the keys and they didnt know where the noise was actually coming from. What did they actually do but check the clamps. I give them NO Stars. My loss. Thanks pros.

I think the work they did was ok... they did work that I didnt ask for,and charged me for it anyway. the mechanic that did the work on my coach didnt normally work on what I bought in and I paid for it in labor fees

Questionable business practices. I took my motor home in because the A/C wasnt working and I thought I had an oil leak. They told me I had to replace the entire cooling pack (oil cooler, AC condenser, transmission cooler) for a total cost of $3400. The part alone they said would be $2400. When I asked if there was a cheaper option they assured me there wasnt. After telling them to go ahead I checked with other shops and found out the part normally cost $1600 so they were marking it up 50%. After that I decided to have the work done somewhere else and it turns out all I needed was a new AC condenser for $400. AS is obviously incented to diagnose a more expensive problem with your vehicle because they make so much money on their parts markup. I highly recommend getting a second opinion on any repair.

WARNING: These guys will intentionally damage your Valve Cover Gasket, Intake Manifold, or Fuel Pump while youre there for other work just to get more money out of you!!! (because those items are cheap parts and they make bank on labor hours) SOURCE: family member works there

On an oil change and lube on my class A diesel pusher, the final bill ended up $50-70 more than they quoted yesterday. Make sure to pin them down on price or they will quote one price to get you to make an appointment and then charge you more at check out.
