Went to have my alignment done as it was a used car and wanted to be sure the new tire I put on it wouldnt be ruined. They checked all 4 wheels and determined it was aligned correctly and only charges a small fee for labor. Excellent service and no surprise fees or charges. Very professional!

This WAS my trusted shop. Till the owner got something wrong and didnt own up to it. I got my brakes replaced by them two months ago and the rotor wasnt installed correctly. I dont drive much, but I was on the highway when some grinding got worse and worse, so I decided to stop at the nearest Honda shop (happened to be the dealer) to get it checked out. Turns out the whole setup obviously needed to be replaced. I wanted someone to do it right and needed to continue to work so I had them do the work. I also had to pick up my kids, and the last thing I wanted to worry about was safety. Once I politely requested a refund for the obvious lapse in quality service from this shop, he said he wouldnt pay the other shops bill (not what I asked) and since I didnt take it to him he wouldnt give me a refund for his shotty work. He also initially refused to watch the video proof I had at hand of the grinding rotor and damage. Honestly, if he would have been more professional I probably would have kept going there as I didnt mind the place. I respect ownership for mistakes and trust. But it is obvious that he doesnt trust me and made me think that I am in the wrong for not taking it to him first. I am now on the hunt for another trusted place to take my Honda in Tacoma. Anyone have any suggestions?

We have recently started going here based on its reviews and will continue to do so. They have worked on both of our vehicles and both times have been incredible communicators, very fair pricing, and quality work. You really cant ask for more. Except. Maybe you could ask for a prime location for a good pizza and beer next door for while you wait...oh but There IS a fantastic pizza place next door while you wait. No reason to try anywhere else. They do it all and they do it all well.

I will never go back here again. Dont get me wrong Mitch is a great guy! However, the service provided on my car was not equivalent to the customer service I received. I set up an appointment online and the online appointment ask what services you are interested in. I listed oil change, tire rotation and an alignment. Mitch called me and let me know that the time I had picked was already full (which was fine) and I inquired if the new tie I picked would go over a couple of hours. I was informed my service would take 45-1 hour. I was thinking this included the alignment since this was what I asked for in my appointment. I get to Midas and I am informed that the only way I could get my alignment is if I leave my car. I had scheduled my day based off the information he gave me so this was already an inconvenience but I left it there for 2 hours. When I returned I saw my car already park and I had not received any phone call that it was finished, so I assumed I got my alignment done too; this was not the case. I was willing to come back until I realized they had spilled oil all under my hood and had smeared oil on my dash window. Not to mention that they did a free tire rotation and PSI check and fill, which lead to my tire pressure light coming on the next day! I paid $60 for an oil change!!! I have never paid that high for an oil change in my life and this was the messiest job I have ever seen. He wanted me to come back in, but I shouldnt have to inconvenience myself when this is what you do for a profession. I was left highly disappointed.

I took my 2004 Cadillac in with no power steering.I thought it was the timing/serpentine belt.I didn’t have any leaks and I have the paper work to prove I’d just had $2700 head replacement and my car wasn’t leaking any fluids leaks.Mitch try to convince me that I need $1700 in work when,I brought it in for power steering issues.I had NO LEAKS and there’s no fluids in my parking spot and I have witnesses who towed the to prove.One of the guys that towed was talking about how I didn’t have any fluids leaking as he put it on the tow.I had a fluid check done at jiffy lube where I was told I DID NOT need fluids on the 14th of may.... As I said,he was to fix the POWER STEERING .... I told Mitch I would have to talk to my husband.He’s had my Car for two days .... I don’t have a problem paying for what I requested.... and my husband won’t pay but $800 for the power steering,I may just have them tow it back to my home. I understand he is short staffed,but you can’t just do work that wasn’t required or requested and try to force customers to pay for it ... After reading the other comments I will not use my MIDAS credit card, should I decide to do business with him.I will pay in Cash ... How do you attempt to charge $72 for labor on an oil change when you’re advertising oil change for $25 ... My husband may be right .... I wonder if I can TRUST him at all ....

Over the last year and a half I spent over $15,000 at this Midas on 6th avenue and because the owner hired a sales manager that was doing stuff under the table and not putting the invoices and orders into the computer I now dont get my stuff fixed that is warrantied and now I dont get my stuff fixed that they repaired and is now not working after they did a bad job of fixing something. Dont use this Midas the owner will find a way to not work on on your vehicle if this mechanics messed something up he will still charge you labor after you already but for something to get fixed that his mechanics will claim are fixed but not.

I did my brakes here, I bought my OWN breaks. They charged me over $600 to put the breaks on with rotors that they provided and ended up putting them on wrong! On one wheel, the break was bent and touching the rotor and making a noise that they somehow didn’t notice.

Ive reviewed this place once before. First time, great. Not so much the next time. I had my van towed in. It would die while driving. They kept it for quite sometime. I picked it up after replacing the alternator and a computer chip. Over $1300.00 later, 3 miles after picking it up, it did the exact same thing. Died on the freeway. Towed it back. They put in a $120.00 part. I was told both times that they test drove it after putting in the parts. I have documentation that this was not done. Runs ok now. I feel as if it was misdiagnosed from the beginning. Also, no oil change that I requested 3(!) times. I have documentation of everything.

Prior visit tried to tell my son that replacing his spark plugs would cost $400! My hubby took care of for under $100 parts only. This last visit I had (and I mean LAST visit), after I received an oil change (and complementary tire rotation as they do), my car was driving strangely and had a low rattle from the rear. I brought it right back to have them check & fix. I had a hunch what it was but wanted to see what they said. The store manager (Mitch Jaber) helped me and, though he is friendly, firstly he spelled my last name wrong (no biggie), but when I brought it back he went to talk to the mechanic who worked on my car and came back to tell me (and he even said he was trying to find the best way to describe it to me and I said try me) that the back plate to where the tire and break meet was not tightened properly. I knew instantly he was referring to the rotor and was puzzled as to why it would be loose, but I allowed him to mansplain it to me and get it fixed. I dont like causing a scene and I dont get worked up with sexist attitudes unless it crosses a sexual line. WOMEN- DO NOT TAKE THE BAIT FROM THESE GUYS. Chances are, they will try to rip you off. I am now having my hubby drive my car to double-check everything since he knows cars. He had already chewed them out about the spark plugs. On top of this, the shop had signs posted stating they were a mask-free establishment, but if patrons wish to wear a mask they can. I am vaccinated, so if its not crowded, I am fine being massless, but their policy goes against the current CDC guidelines of requiring masks if you are not vaccinated. Needless to say, I will not ever be returning here.

Fees, fees and more fees on top of an large brake job bill. The vehicle service was great, all my brakes are brand new. But once hit with the $1k bill (which was understandable)..I was hit with extra $40 of debit/credit card fees. I use my debit card everywhere and Ive never experienced this type of fees/theft for using my card.. I wont be back for any of my or my familys vehicle service needs.

It was my first time going to Midas, but however I went... And Im glad I did. The oil change was whole hour but I didnt mind. Also at check out Ron I believe was his name was very helpful also offered me a discount (Coupon) for my oil change. Very professional and he wanted what was best for my vehicle. He even printed me out what my next service will need on my SUV and a estimate of how much. I would definitely being back for my oil changes from now on! I will recommend Midas to my friends from now on!

The service l received at this Midas was great. I went for tires, alignments and breaks. Ron, the manager would not sell me a service l did not need. My breaks were fine, my wheel alignment was good soooo,all l needed were tires. The shop is honest, most important in my book, efficient, professional and very easy to work with. Ron, the manager, is a tire guru. He showed me a wide range of tires and prices that would suit my needs. I highly recommend this shop.

This place is horrible. If you want good service your better off going to Buckys up the street from this place. I purchased a used car and there were obviously some stuff that needed service on. But the most obvious issue was a loud sound when the car would turn on. It sounded like I was driving a motor cycle. I took the car in for the noise to be fixed. Also, I didnt have heating or cooling in the car so we told them that. They told us they can fix that. We were really excited that they were going to fix these obvious issues for us. They held the car for a week, and called us when it was ready for pick up. We paid and asked him if the noise was gone ect. He said yes. We started the car and the motorcycle sound was still there. Immediately we were so confused. There was no heat in the car either. We called Midas back and were telling Mitch about the on going issues that were not resolved. He wasnt even making sense in what he was saying. A few days later we took the car to Buckys. Buckys was able to detect immediately that the car was involved in some type of accident/impact and let me know where the motorcycle sound was coming from. They were confused as to why Midas werent able to detect that. Buckys was super professional and understood our frustration. Money doesnt grow on trees and they obviously valued our business. We went back to Midas to ask about why their mechanic couldnt detect that there was damage from impact. Mitch stated that Maybe Buckys is smarter. (They are) He wouldnt give me a refund for my heating and cooling that we dont have and that we paid for. $900 down the drain from going through Midas. Never again. Out of the $900, $300 was for heating and cooling. In the morning I have to drive to work in a frozen car. Midas is horrible. We will be returning to Buckys for heating and cooling on the next pay day. Also Buckys was able to diagnose and fix the car same day.$900 spent at Midas. MIDAS made us feel like we got conned. Mitch was very rude to us when we requested a refund for the heating and cooling.

This place was the cheapest for an oil change,but they called to reschedule my appointment because they got behind, which was very respectful of them. I really appreciated that kind of customer care. I never rescheduled, though. I did go in a week later to buy 2 quarts of oil(discount tire referred me),when I went in there was an older gentleman and a younger guy who was holding some type of car part. I was never acknowledged. Im not positive if the older man was on the phone but towards the end he was,but I know he and the younger guy were discussing this car part,but I was never told that someone would be right with me or anything. When the older man got off phone,I told him what I wanted and he directed me to oreillys? down the street. Not good business....at all.

This place is a joke, Mitch calls himself the franchise owner,very disappointed on his customer service skills. He was very rude on the phone when he wanted all the money up front before the repairs were done,I declined and told him I was willing to pay half down and pay the rest when my truck was completed and he made a sarcastic remark after I only authorized half payment on my credit card by phone. I just spent $1400.00 at Discount Tire and they never asked me for a down payment. I finally received a phone call from Mitch 4 days late on completing my truck and found out that he ran my credit card for the full amount and not only that I had a due balance because he said I needed extra parts that I never authorized. Mitch explain the law he is allowed to increase the price by 10% from the original estimate. I wasnt dealing with a franchise owner I was dealing with a used car salesman. I was asking questions about the extra parts and he couldnt answer them and had to call his mechanic to help him answer my questions and the mechanic wasnt very clear. I suspect that Midas ripped me off and was dishonest. Discount Tire recommended Midas and I will let them know that I have made a $3000 mistake.

Midas were professional when they received us. We were in Mary’s auto repair and they called us notifying us that our 2008 charger needed and upper and lower control line, new axels and tie rods and they were going to charge us $2600 plus $345 for the tie rod. We thought it was too much and called Midas right down the street from Mary’s and Ron Bain the manager looked at our car and didn’t have any of the problems that Marys told us it has and it was wayyyy cheaper to get our car back in the road. Not to mention that Mary’s told us since they installed new tie rods they wanted us to pay the $345 or they can remove it and we had to call a tow truck to Midas that was literally across the road and paid $85 to get it not even a minute away. Mary’s wouldn’t work with us on that. Our price at Midas came out to be $1176.04

Told Ron about the problem I have with my ignition coils because I am concerned that if its the same coil then I might have a different issue like a controller module that is damaged or something. Ron didnt tell anybody about my concern, and TRIED to run a diagnostic but couldnt becuase the alternator was bad. It was draining the battery and had to be jumped but mind you it has been sitting for 6 months because of covid and it has an alarm that likes to go off frequently. SO, they shotgun the alternator in my scion and DONT run a diagnostic becuase it failed the first time becuase the alternator was bad. I end up driving my car thinking the problem was solved and ended up doing 20 mph randomly becuase the car stalled in 35 mph traffic. luckily we didnt get into an accident and my family is safe. Mitch did not listen to my concern and instead replaced the same coil that ive already replaced so now im taking my car to a different mechanic shop so they can look at the module controller. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!

*nightmare on 6th ave*Had to take my 2015 chrysler to this location due to a oil leak. After quickly diagnosing the vehicle, they said it was the bell housing of the transmission and that it would be about $1500 total price. The job had to be done so I told them to go ahead. A day or two goes by, I recieve a call from head mechanic saying that they took the bell housing apart to find that the leak was in fact the head gasket. They would be gracious enough to not charge me for the first bit of labor but that the head gasket would be about the same price. I said thats fine you have my car already go for it. A day or two later the vehicle is ready. Long story short a month goes by and I begin to smell gas. I look under the car and under the hood. I found that the main fuel line into the engine was busted. Upon further inspection, during thier labor they busted the line, then cut a piece of insulation that would probably be rated at 10 psi where 50-60 psi is needed, and zip tied it to the original line to I guess cover up the damage. After identifying this I took it to a real mechanic who laughed as midas on 6th is known for problems like this. Now that it is driving again, I took another look inside and have found that ever fasten that secures an electrical line of any sort was cut instead of properly disconnected, there is a metal bracket that was wedged in rather than bolted down, and a front engine bracket that was only partially secured. Over all I belive that they have depreciated the life of my vehicle beyond any estimate. Did I contact the store about the issue? NO. There is absolutely nothing I would trust them doing to my car nor are they mechanically sound enough to do anything other than maybe change your oil. Even then check thier work.

I stopped by because my tire pressure light came on. They allowed me to borrow a tire pressure gauge to check which ones were low and then were kind enough to fill up my tires. They were very nice and helpful and offered to check for a leak, however I was on my way to work and didnt have enough time. If the tires give me any problems again, I will be sure to return to the shop and give them my business!

I would highly recommend going ANYWHERE else to get repairs or maintenance done on your vehicle. I had my car brought in for a major repair from my home 45 minutes away. Not their concern but some planning goes into pickup and drop off. I had the car towed a week before and confirmed on the phone for a Friday pickup. I came in on the agreed pick-up date at 11am and was told it wouldn’t be done until 4pm. Not great but what choice do I have. Called them at 4:05 and was told it wouldn’t be done until Tuesday. I asked why. A cashier named Mitch said the wrong part was sent. I asked why I wasn’t called and told this brand new information. He again said it was not their fault. I said it was. He gave me a $100 refund. I didn’t honestly care at that point about $100, having paid $1,120 already for the labor. I asked again when my car would be ready and Mitch said, “You know I didn’t have to give you that $100 back” and called me rude. I think he wanted more of a response for the partial refund? Awkward. They are terrible at communication so insist on calling them multiple times if you leave your vehicle there.After some miracle from above, they called the next day and said my vehicle was ready to go. I picked up the keys and was told by Mitch to “Have a good life” as I walked away. Sick burn. I drove my car home and had to immediately call and leave a message because the GPS console no longer turned on and a bent piece of metal on my right wheelwell was scraping the tire. Great. Left my info and what was wrong with my car. No call back. Shocking. After radio silence, I went to a different mechanic who fixed these new issues with no problems.Can Mitch and his team do simple repairs? Possibly, who am I to say they can’t? Would I trust them to? Not a chance. I would highly recommend doing a bit of research and going with your second choice. Have a good life everybody!

Since moving here nearly 3 years ago, this has been the only place my 2013 Chrysler has been serviced and I have no complaints. The owner Mitch has always been personable, friendly, honest and the guys there do a great job. I have all my oil changes and warranty services there and have bought tires which have been great for the price. Would recommend to anyone wanting to find an honest car service company!

I think a good time to judge or assess a business is when the cards arent coming up in their favor. Its very easy to put on that smile and try to make the customer feel like a top priority when its business as usual, but its more telling what the company and its representatives are made of in how they handle themselves when theyre prepared to take a hit.Ive always taken my vehicle to this Midas because they are a good mix of being competitively priced and flexible with their scheduling, but now I have good reason to highly recommend them to anyone. The reason is because feeling secure in knowing an honest mechanic is priceless.I recently had my water pump replaced at this location. In the following month, I noticed issues with losing coolant from my radiator. I took my vehicle back and they diagnosed the problem for free. They were able to come to the conclusion that the leak was coming from the water pump. They scheduled me in to replace the water pump again at no charge. Not only that, but where the leak was coming from put my timing belt at risk of exposure to the coolant and they assured me that they would also replace my timing belt free of charge.I just picked up my vehicle today with brand new parts and absolutely free labor. The problem ended up being no fault of anyone involved with Midas. They get their parts brand new from a reputable manufacturer. In this case, there was a freak occurrence with a defective component of the water pump. In dealing with Ron at this location, his customer service was great in handling this matter and was more than okay with devoting the companys time and resources towards resolving the issue.I highly recommend this location if you value integrity in your mechanic.

OK, should be a one star review, but I’ll give them a second star because I really should’ve known better. Today I had a last-minute availability in my work schedule to get my oil changed, and so I needed to go somewhere that could do a same-day appointment. I called and made an appointment for 3 PM. I discussed the year, make, and model of my vehicle and verified the cost of the oil change. All good, right?Wrong.Arrived at 3 and was told that they were running behind, because, they were “short a man today.” OK, he says it’ll only be a few minutes behind, no biggie.At this time, the salesman states that my vehicle takes such and such oil and such and such filter, and because of that, the cost will be $79 not the quoted $25. I question this, because I had called earlier and specifically given the make and model of my vehicle as well as the year and discussed a promotion that was posted on their website. The salesman however had no explanation for the discrepancy. Unfortunately, my oil change needs and my work schedule dictated that I had to go through with it today.So I was quoted a 45 minute wait and I walked across the street to the grocery outlet. 45 minutes later, almost to the minute, I cross back and see that my car is still in the bay, OK no biggie. I go to talk to the gentleman at the desk, and he does the thing they always do, he brings out my dirty air filter and tells me that it’s really bad and they need to replace it, and do I want them to put in a new air filter today? I predicted that this would happen, I’m pretty sure these guys get a commission on up sales. Fine, whatever replace the air filter. I sit back in the lobby and continue to wait another 30 minutes. At this point I’m starting to get irritated because I can see the two technicians sitting out there not working on anything on my car is sitting unattended. I get that we don’t always know what’s going on, and things are not always what they seem, but I made an appointment for the sole purpose of not sitting there for two hours. Finally, I go to the desk to ask about how much longer because I have to go pick up my kids, and I am told by the same man who sold me the air filter, that the air filter was not in stock and they have to have it delivered from another location. At this point I am almost immediately irritated, because I have been waiting for my 45 minute appointment for nearly 2 hours, I have been up-sold, I have been quoted wrong, and I am generally ready to go. I asked The salesman why he didn’t notify me that the air filter was not in stock, and he did not have a good reason. I told him it’s customary to notify a customer if a part has to be ordered or is not immediately available when they make the decision to purchase, not after they have paid. Again the gentleman got defensive, made a comment about not stocking every single air filter for every single vehicle, but had no explanation for why he didn’t simply tell me that it wasn’t in stock and give me the option to continue to wait, or not.Definitely wouldn’t come here again, and I definitely would encourage others not to as well. Every business is out there to make a buck, but customer service does not have to be completely disregarded.

Although there were a few timing problems and miscommunications,they were really nice and definitely willing to work with me on pricing.the owner made my options very clear on a transmission repair and even did a free inspection. Even after everything was all said and done he still gave me a $300 discount on my final bill. I gave 5 stars because they were more interested in keep my future business rather than making a quick buck.

First of all I was an automotive technician of 23 years. I have a journeymans card. I have my master technician certification for both Ford and GM. That being said I dont like to have anyone but myself do any work on my vehicles. I did some suspension work and took my vehicle to this shop for an alignment. You could say I am hard to please in this area. This shop did an outstanding job and I have already recommend them to friends.

They are always consistent and honest. When choosing between taking it to a dealership or Midas for an oil change and service it’s a pretty clear answer for me. I would rather spend 30-50 than three times that. They too all of your fluids off and send you safely on your way.

When my husband called to tell me the front wheel on his car broke off we chose to take it to this shop and it was the best choice we could have made. We had to have our car towed to their shop & they stayed until we got there even though they were closing. The next morning after doing a thorough inspection of the car they explained all the work that needed to be done to our vehicle. Apparently the ball joint broke on the front driver side wheel, which also caused other damage to the front suspension of the car that needed repair. The staff was very friendly & helpful, they gave us a full report of what needed to be repaired to get the car back on the road and also provided us with other recommendations that we should consider being done based on their inspection of the car. We feel very confident that we chose the right repair shop & that we are safe driving our vehicle now that it is fixed.

Will not go back, upon hearing our truck was given to us. They decided not only did we need an oil change, brakes, hoses and a number of other things needed work. Called my dad who gave us the truck. Found out at the 150k mark he had all that work done at the DEALERSHIP where he bought it. Screw you Midas, try to hose us. You just lost a customer.. oh and btw... it was 159k when we did the oil change.Update.... spoke with Mitch on the phone, I really do appreciate you taking the time to contact me. I understand human error, so yes. We will come back. No hesitation.

Very fast service. Ive taken both of my cars in for their oil change and have been pleased with both. up front about any extra cost if needed, like the fact that my newer car can only have a specific type of oil, I really wanted to use a coupon for 19.99 for conventional oil but decided to go with the manufacturer recommendations for my car and spent the 40 instead. im sure my car will love me for that.

I brought my car in for an oil change after getting a coupon in the mail. After he pulled up my info in the system, he tells me I need a synthetic blend for my engine, which doesnt fall in-line with the coupon. Not a big deal because he still found me a promo code. Overall, we agree to a total of $34 for an oil change and tire rotation after taxes, fees, etc. I leave my car and decided to pick it up later.When I return, he tells me there was a mistake. He had pulled-up my old car in the system, which was a 2006 Kia Spectra, when he quoted the oil change. My car actually needed full synthetic oil, so they went ahead and did the change but the price will be different. He tells me he discounted it as much as possible and presented me with a bill for over $50. We argue for a little while, but he ultimately discounted the services back to the amount we agreed upon.Now, heres the fun question. When we first discussed the oil change, was he trying to convince me that my 2006 Kia Spectra couldnt have conventional oil (because thats just a flat-out lie), or did he have the right info in the first place and tried to rip me off?Either way, I dont trust this place anymore. Either he tried to aggressively upsell me into a service I didnt need (even going as far to tell me conventional oil will damage my engine) or they thought they could switch the car info and rip me off when I returned to get my car. This place is not trustworthy and I wont bring any of my cars to a Midas again.

I and my family have taken our vehicles to Mitch, Gary and their crew at Midas for over 20 years, and we would trust them and their work without hesitation. I have been coming to Mitch even before it was Midas. Was having him work on my cars since he was at Pro Automotive. Hes always pleasant and the work is always done without an issue. They will try to take advantage of you if you arent car smart, adding unnecessary tests that you dont need, and if you get some advice from someone and deny the test, they will cut the original quote by half and only did the bare minimum. Took in my car to get it fixed, spent a good amount of money, issue still persists. At least Ron is a nice person. Dont go here, save your money, go to Marys.

I had originally came here because they were able to beat every other price in town for a set of tires and alignment for my 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid. You would think that quantity and quality dont normally coincide at a mechanic shop, but here it does. Gary and Mitch (also father and son) make a great team. They took their time with me to explain the process, and even told me why my low tire pressure light was constantly on (I have maintained good tires proper air pressure sense owning it), for free! I had asked the ford dealership why it was constantly on a couple years ago, paying the diagnostic fee, and they couldnt even tell me! Would definitely recommend and will return again.
